81  Economy / Marketplace / Re: 8 Benefits Of Investing in The United States (US) Stock Market on: February 24, 2023, 11:16:09 AM
Diversification is key to any well-rounded investment portfolio, and investing in US-based companies can offer global exposure and potentially higher returns. Your suggestion to invest in US stock tokens is a helpful solution for those looking to invest in US stocks from India or any other country.

It's also worth noting that investing in US stocks can offer additional benefits such as access to multinational companies, the ability to buy fractions of stocks, and exposure to new markets and opportunities. However, it's important to keep in mind the potential risks associated with any investment and to conduct thorough research before making any investment decisions.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good to accept crypto as a payment? on: February 23, 2023, 10:19:04 AM
Accepting Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies as payment for services or goods can have its pros and cons which need to be evaluated before going ahead and letting your consumers pay with it.

The positives include wider reach and potentially grabbing more attention among consumers who wish to use cryptocurrencies instead of traditional payment methods. Another positive is that the price could go up anytime and the stock you have got so far from the payments will have more value.

It also has some cons that include the fact that the price can also drop significantly, and if you have Bitcoins or any cryptocurrency that you have received through your business, they will have their value dropped thus becoming a problem for the business itself.
83  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hacked for 165k STAKE.COM on: February 22, 2023, 08:18:40 PM
Your loss is big and we are really sorry to hear about that, but as said by others, there's nothing the community can do for you in this case. You should contact their support, and if you did and they refused to help you out, I'm afraid you are out of options then.

Phishing attacks are becoming widely disturbing and successful for hackers to compromise accounts and steal funds from different platforms. Users need to be more vigilant and don't click any link that they don't trust and never ever enter any credentials before double checking the website link and the overall look and everything of the layout. No matter how hard they try, there will always be a sign that gives it all up.
84  Economy / Speculation / Re: What comes next for Bitcoin: $20K or $30K? on: February 22, 2023, 04:46:39 PM
Eventually, bitcoin fell to $23k but I hope bitcoin price can stay there. It looks like this week, the market movement will be more frequent ups and downs and we have to be prepared for that. But it still seems too difficult to reach $30k by the end of the month or next month but hopefully, the price can achieve that in the next month.

Maybe support is still between $20k-$22k but if market conditions continue to decline, support could release it for a while to back up the lower price so it doesn't continue to fall. It is time to add more bitcoins as the price has decreased quite a bit.
You want to stay it on $23k? But what about a recovery and an increase? You don't like it? But like it or not, the price can still go on its own and there is no way for us regular individuals to stop it. I check the price and it have recovered on $24k now. This is great because it seems that it will continue to move forward to $26k and onwards because $25k is already broken.

Thanks for reminding people to be prepared but I think they are already well prepared now. Before we entered the year, many people have already stocked a lot of Bitcoins with them and they are now waiting for the bull run to arrived.

Re: What comes next for Bitcoin: $20K or $30K?
We are done with $20k and the price continues to reach up to $25k last time. Our next stop would be $30k. If we won't get it within this month then we can surely get it next month.
85  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: February 22, 2023, 01:44:30 PM
why people are worried about such a great offer Grin
So many fake casino offers have happened before but since this one by Rollbit is confirmed as legit offer there is no need to overthink about it, just claim rewards daily and enjoy new experience on different gambling platform. I am still looking for best method to use side bet offer on Sweet Bonanza, maybe someone can suggest good option to maximize this feature on slot.
I think there are phishing attempts, fake twitter accounts, fake mails, fake "staff" members, and many other things everywhere, just telegram itself is cesspool of people who are mimicking others to get someone to pay for it. This is why it's normal for people to be uncertain about things.

Like for example, "send money to this address to unlock your account" type of things, those are everywhere and a million of them, which is why people are always worried when they are offered something good, maybe it's a scam? In any case, congratz for that mail for anyone who got it, looks to be a good one and a real one at the same time, rare sight and definitely a cause to celebrate.
86  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ego and too much confidence are dangerous in investing. on: February 21, 2023, 09:28:03 PM
Well, at leas you learnt your lesson from this, and you will definitely not repeat the same thing in your entire life. And, by sharing this, I hope a lot of other newbies will also learn from your mistake and do their due research before investing any money into any coin/token no matter how much hype it is getting within the community.

We've seen it many times in the past, tokens/coins which with temporary hypes are generally the reason for newbies to lost money since they invest late and then when the token falls and fails to gain value again, they realize they did a mistake but there's no point then.
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Do Gamblers Do This? on: February 21, 2023, 07:00:00 PM
I think its mainly about gambler mindset. Besides earning or losing money, gambling is a game some players win or lose. Gamblers think there will be time that they will win and get back everything. This false reality can be really damaging in my opinion.
Those who play gambling are called gamblers but not all gamblers are like that (the one that is mentioned by the OP) but there are still gamblers who only stick on their limits. Gambling is a form of game to give people an entertainment and maybe some profits if we are lucky but we shouldn't focus on it so that we won't feel that we are a loser whenever we used up all of our deposits. It's true, there are times that we are lucky but it doesn't guarantee that you can recover all your past losses. Much better if you don't dream of that because that was hard to do and it will only lead you for more losses.

Some gamblers don't realize they are losing their life savings anytime they keep playing and losing.
You won't notice it at first but the more you play and lose, the more it will be obvious. It will also be hard to notice if you don't check the balance of your savings account
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 21, 2023, 09:09:45 AM
Arsenal will face Leicester and Everton next, those games will matter a lot because those games could see them back at the top again which will be awesome for them, I am not saying that it is going to end up being wins, maybe they will win both, maybe they will lose both, I can't really say. But the looks of it is that they truly need 6 points out of this and can't lose a single game, even if City drops points here, they still need to win just in case.

Arsenal will have a hard time keeping that leadership, just one game away from losing that, they really need to do better and hopefully they could, they just need to focus very much so on premier league games.
89  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Crypto Romance Scam - Stay alert with your Bitcoins. on: February 21, 2023, 06:38:01 AM
Honestly, this isn't really regarding crypto, sure the payment was made via crypto but the scam style has nothing to do with crypto and has been done by people all around the world for decades. It is common, usually the other way around, a "pretty girl" convinces a guy to send her some money, and that's how the scam works, it's a common one as well, and men send that money to the "pretty girl" which could be a guy all we know, because they never meet.

I am sorry but if you send someone you never meet that much money, maybe you didn't deserve that money to begin with, no person who is that stupid should have that much money.

All these "but she was 70 years old and it was her life long hard work!!" is just a way of saying she made that much money while being this stupid, so whoever paid her this much for her work lost a ton if you ask me.
90  Economy / Economics / Re: The Rise of GPT AI. Crypto is at risk? on: February 20, 2023, 09:26:53 PM
First of all, ChatGPT is no magic, but it is an artificial intelligence that has been trained using data and that is what it uses to produce responses for the users, no matter how complex. I know that it is pretty impressive with almost everything it does, but it doesn't mean that it is totally flawless. The programming codes, or even responses sometimes, can be wrong and will always need at least a manual check before they are used somewhere else.

The trading bots or any softwares, websites, or applications that are built using it must have been thoroughly examined, tested and then deployed by human developers, and if not, no one should use them as they could put their money under risk.

Also, it would have been nice to see the resources where you read that sentence you have mentioned in italic about trading bots being developed using ChatGPT.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens on: February 20, 2023, 04:52:40 PM
always invest in stable coins in the market. Among the stable coins, the first choice must be Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin will never disappear from the market even if other coins in the market completely disappear from the market.
Generally, stable coins refer to those coins that have their value pegged to a fiat currency, mostly USD, and their value neither grow nor drop from that price. But, I assume what you meant to say is one should invest in cryptocurrencies which are trustworthy and capable of gaining value over time, like Bitcoin. Although Bitcoin might not disappear from the market, but Bitcoin is also volatile, which means the value of your investment can grow or drop over time based on it's price movement.

If Bitcoin, which is the top and leading crypto in this industry, still has a risk, what about other cryptocurrencies and especially the new tokens in the world of crypto, that's a higher risk.
Bitcoin is not generally a risky investment if we talking about the context of tokens/coins rugpulling and disappearing from the markets. It of course is volatile which is what the nature of every cryptocurrency is.
92  Economy / Exchanges / Re: The Fraud company Localbitcoins is closing on: February 19, 2023, 10:28:40 PM
I don't see any proper proof being provided by OP to call Localbitcoins a scam or a fraud. A scam accusation must be presented with ample sources proving a potential scam attempt or any reasoning must be presented with valid details and resources.

I remember when there were no exchanges offering P2P services like today, and I used to use Localbitcoins for converting my Bitcoins to my local currency, and never in my experience of two years, I've faced any kind of issues, never with escrowed funds, never with account balance, not even with withdrawals. I wouldn't believe anyone making baseless accusations without any proper proof against them.

@OP, if you are interested in investing in Bitcoin, I would suggest you to do some research on things like what's the best exchange as per your preferences, like if you got no problem with KYC, you can go for centralized exchanges like Binance, or you can choose any other exchange comparing their fees and everything. You should easily be able to find all that information with a simple Google search.
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: February 18, 2023, 09:53:00 PM
I would say that second goal was a mistake, he was trying to score and it hit the wrong side of his foot and bounced back and that's why it was an "assist" but if we look at the first pass? That was good enough to be considered 10 assists all by itself. Dude passed from behind the half way line, all the way to a player that found the ball against the goalkeeper directly.

Not many people could hit the ball with the right curve that fast, and that alone shows his talent. He also had an unfortunate miss as well on the first half, just missed by a few inches if I didn't see wrong, sometimes you have unlucky games but at least he is getting more accustomed to his teammates and what they can do.
95  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: February 17, 2023, 10:08:20 PM
I am starting to think that Biden might not even run. The guy is not doing a very good job by anyone’s standards (I’m an independent for the record so no bias here) and I think his party is going to make sure he understands that he shouldn’t be running again. I don’t think Trump will win the nomination either, I think that will go towards Ron D’s way.

What a joke either way all the way around.
I am not even American, and I would support democratic party candidates if I were, because of.. obvious reasons. However, even I do not think that Biden is doing a good job, his only job was being a better "person" than trump, and that was a very low standard to put him into, 99.99% of the people in the world are better people than trump, and Biden barely made the cut, imagine how terrible he is as well.

However, if he decides to run, even with him being terrible at his job, he will still get the nomination because of the reasons I talked about, you do not nominate someone else when the president is running for reelection and hence we will see him run if he wants to.
96  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchange with cheapest fees on: February 17, 2023, 09:40:02 PM
Local digital bank: zero fees, average 1% spread fees on exchanges.
I have not come across any crypto exchange in the name of local digital bank; could you please share its URL if your time permits (I know I am able to find by google still I just want to double confirm with the right one).

I am not bothering about withdrawal fees usually but I always try to minimize the trading fees at possible methods like in some exchanges we can enjoy discounts on trading fees when we are reaching certain volume on previous month. In some other exchanges, I am staking their own coin/token to get some discounts on my trades. Right now, I am active at kucoin and I am staking KCS for this purpose.

The simple trick to minimize the withdraw fees is, choosing right altcoin. When I was active on yobit exchange some years back I did all my withdraw in dogecoin and 2 or 3 years back I used waves to save on withdraw and network fees.
97  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2023, Bullish or Bearish? on: February 16, 2023, 06:04:01 PM
Not many people understand that anything good looking is still a benefit for all of us and doesn't need to break ATH price.

Like for example we were under 20k price for a few months, now we are over 25k price and that is good enough, that is something we should be happy about, I understand that it went up and stopped which made some people upset because they wanted to see it keep going higher and higher, but the reality is that we shouldn't be really worried about it and we should be focusing on a lot more towards just the happy thoughts about what has happened already and that should be more than enough, I know it doesn't sound like a great deal and all, but it is a great one and I think we should all be happy about it.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: February 16, 2023, 03:49:20 PM
I would guess that democratic primary isn't even going to happen, I get that there could be some people who could run a campaign and all, but to be a nominee when the sitting president is a candidate would be a big trouble for anyone who wants to run.

I get it, Biden is not looking good for even some democrats, but no sitting president who ran for reelection lost the nomination as far as I can ever remember, hell until Trump most people who were presidents ended up running for a second term, bush had one, Clinton had one (cut short) bush Jr had one, and Obama had one, they all went for reelection and not just got the nomination, but won the election as well. So, it would be quite difficult for anyone if Biden runs again.
99  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Project: Sewing machine BITCOIN on: February 15, 2023, 09:23:30 PM
Instead of trying for donations, I suggest you to start accepting bitcoins for your art works and if you save bitcoin for next 6 months or one year then you can multiply your investment in bitcoin which might help you to pursuit your dreams. I went through some of your works and all are looking good and attractive which means you can start accepting bitcoin by selling your art works.

If you have plans to accept bitcoins for your work with sewing machines, please mention that also in the open post which could be considered as a valid point for justifying why you are here.

Personally I never trust anyone online and I am sure 99% of this community will not trust as well. So, I guess it would be a working idea if you approach your local bank for loans. Good luck!
100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chasing losses - Double down bet or Bet twice? on: February 15, 2023, 05:13:10 PM
That bad mood actually is being greedy to chase your losses which lead to more losses and that's where the casino earn profit. I don't think if you are in a loss situation it is much better to call it a day than trying to chase your losses, in terms of doubling your previous bet that is a martingale strategy which is a good strategy assuming you have a good amount of bankroll.

Usually what I do is same betting amount every time until I hit a win streak and if I lose 5-8 times continuously then it's not actually my day. There's is no good advice actually double down or bet twice can still wreck you. If you're lucky you'll feel it and if not you're getting greedier and greedier.
The OP said that he still chases his losses even he is not in a bad mood although he only bets moderately. I think all of us gamblers here can relate with it and we already know which one is better right? Yes and that is to stay calm. I know this one is hard but this can make us to stay longer in the game and simply means we have a much greater chance to recover our previous losses than the other way around. Whatever we do, casino will still earn a profit due to the house edge. I think it's not greed is the one that we feel when we are losing but it's anger and we want a revenge. It's when we are winning is the one that we can feel greed.

Setting a loss stop is a good idea too. For example if I lose $20, then that's it I'm done and if I reach $100 today then I'm done. It actually let your bankroll grow or stop your losses in a day.
Who knows that this can also work well in betting? Many of us only hear it in trading but I believe it's not always being followed in gambling. Most of us will only gamble until we bust our deposits if we won't win our target amounts.
