If you are only accepting paypal, then why did you even post this on bitcointalk where everything is ideal paid in bitcoin or cryptocurrency? Just baffles me really. Also, it's quite easy to get paid in cryptocurrency than paypal where every transaction is actually reversible. Maybe this is the time you try to use crypto than rely on centralized money like fiat and paypal!
82  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-15] Effects of Mt. Gox Trustee's $400 Mln Sale on Bitcoin Market on: March 15, 2018, 01:40:48 PM
The short-run effect is indeed not very much felt at the time the sell offs happened in January and February. However, the sear number of bitcoins they are offloading has really caused a great increase in the supply of bitcoins after they unloaded for already three straight months in effect that has offset the initial demand for it hence the price drops. I guess everybody had their fill when Mt. Gox trustees started to sell the bitcoins.
83  Bitcoin / Press / [2018-03-15] Taiwan Central Bank Chief Cautious on Central Bank Crypto on: March 15, 2018, 01:36:04 PM
The new governor of Taiwan's central bank has said speculation has taken over from cryptocurrencies' original role as a payments tool.

Earlier this year, while still in his role as deputy chief of the central bank, Yang Chin-long indicated that the central bank has started the evaluation of the benefits and challenges of a central bank-issued cryptocurrency.

In responses to lawmakers at a meeting with the island's legislative arm today, though, he argued that cryptocurrencies are not fulfilling their originally intended function in payments, according to a report from Taiwan's Apple Daily.

Although he had "wanted to go in that direction," cryptocurrencies have since become a commodity with extreme volatility due to market speculation, he said.

The central bank is now observing experiments conducted in other regions and "doing experimentation," but "we can't go as far as announcing we plan to issue digital New Taiwan dollar yet," he said.

I guess there is some truth to it. Cryptocurrencies are far away from being used in commercial transactions or what it was intended for. It's merely being used for speculative investments.
84  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why kyc is even required? on: March 15, 2018, 01:30:06 PM
Most casinos like fortunejack require kyc if you win a huge amount some sportsbook also ask for kyc
Why is this even necessary bitcoin gambling exist so that we can gamble anonymously and not pay any tax on our winnings or hide our identify if we win a huge amount then why do many sites still ask for kyc
Is it even fair?
KYC for me is very difficult since I have not yet valid ID's and proof of billings. So now I am making hard just only to have this I applied some billings only to have a proof of bills and also I already get valid ID and still I am waiting that for almost 3 months of process.

So far, no site has really asked for my proof of billing. Also why would you not have ID yet? Are you a minor? That would be preposterous if you do not have any sort of ID yet if you are already allowed to gamble. What kind of ID takes three months? In my country, which I believe has the most inefficient government in the world, have no problems receiving the ID within a few weeks not months.
85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Tiger Woods coming making the come back of all come backs? on: March 15, 2018, 04:01:01 AM
I just saw that Tiger Woods is on the Leaderboard coming in on Sunday's Val Spar Championship (I know, I've never heard of it either but it is still a PGA tournament Wink ) and has a chance to make his 80th win on the tournament circuit.

I thought he was never going to make anymore wins to break of the old time record holder of tournament wins in the PGA ever again since he had all those toxic episodes in his life over the past 5 years with his wife chasing him with a golf club, OTC drug abuse and getting pulled over and put in a detox facility, being part of the frappening along with his then girlfriend Lindsey Vonn (she had her phone hacked into as well) and whatever else the media did not disclose in the public eye.

He has not won a tournament since August 2013.

The best to not being able to win a single tournament since then, you thought this guy's life in golf was over and done with. Undecided

I'm still in the opinion that the guy is too old. What has changed over the 5 years he has not won a tournament that would make him win this year? All that is happening is that he is getting older and older each year and he can't do anything about it. The thing is, in sports the younger players will have the better chance of winning against the older ones.
86  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin down ( Mt. Gox is dumping ) on: March 15, 2018, 02:25:09 AM
Well after they exhaust all of those BTC they have in storage then likely prices will start going up again. Just basing what is happening right now, if they have dumped that much bitcoins and the price is still stable at $8,000 and above I do expect the price to really go up when they are done as the supply will again be a lot more stable unless satoshi comes back to like and sells his 1,000,000 bitcoins.
87  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Foxbit lost bitcoins and stopped working !!! on: March 14, 2018, 11:55:51 PM
Foxbit - the largest crypto currency exchange in Brazil, has not worked for more than 72 hours. The reason was a technical error that allowed users to withdraw their bitcoins-balances twice. In total, the company lost 30 bitcoins worth about 270,000 dollars.
fun moment! even such giants can fail!what is your opinion?

30 Bitcoins should not really be a big problem if this was from an exchange. If this amount was already a problem that would cause them to close down then that means this site is not liquid enough to operate a true exchange. I would not say they are giants as compared to other bigger exchanges around the world. If they are handing large amounts of bitcoins this should not have happened.
88  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-13] Large Mining Farm Discovered in Abandoned Russian Factory on: March 13, 2018, 04:28:48 PM
Really incredible story,in a short video we can actually see how large was this operation. What is really weird is that somebody noticed this after who knows how much time. That could mean that miners had some help from local authorities, and as no one has been caught for now, they seem to have been notified that their operation is coming to the end.

I'm sure this whole project it is not the work of some amateurs, they spent a lot of money and time to do this.Probably someone was dissatisfied over his share of profit, that's how it goes in Russia.

Extremely large amount of money for sure. A miner isn't cheap. Though I don't think it flew under the radar that easily. For sure it had some connections that would have prevented its discovery. Those guys would have probably profited a shit ton from this, as electricity accounts for like half of the cost of operating the whole thing aside from the cost of hardware.
89  Bitcoin / Press / [2018-03-13] Large Mining Farm Discovered in Abandoned Russian Factory on: March 13, 2018, 08:28:46 AM
By Lubomir Tassev

A large illegal facility for mining bitcoin was discovered by police in the Russian city of Orenburg. The farm has been set up on the premises of an abandoned factory. The masterminds of the crypto project have stolen electricity worth 60 million rubles. They risk years of imprisonment.

One of Russia’s Biggest
Investigating unusual consumption of electricity, police in the Russian city of Orenburg came across one of the largest facilities for cryptocurrency mining in the country. The unknown miners have illegally set up their farm in a closed-down plant, plugging the cables into the nearby transformer station.

In what Russian media described as “a scene from The Matrix”, investigators found racks upon racks of mining processors. The farm was equipped with powerful application specific circuits, and not the ordinary video cards, used by amateur miners.

That is a lot of stolen electricity and for sure the people that operated these mining farms are for sure rich as hell now!
90  Economy / Economics / Re: Centralization of banking through cryptocurrency? on: March 13, 2018, 08:00:44 AM
Base on the speculation of other members here in the forum that in the near future banks all over the world will adapt the system of cryptocurrency and it will eventually centralized all banking transaction in one with the cryptocurrency or the digital currency. In that period of time digital currency is not like an asset or investment anymore. Its price will be stabilized and it could be use all over the world where comfort of traveling just to use the digital currency as a form of payment. However, it is the news nowadays has the opposite of their speculation since there are countries banning already the use of cryptocurrency. In your point of view, Will it happen to centralized money all over the world through the use of cryptocurrency? Or it will just pass and nothing will ever change in our system of banking. Or do you have any speculation with cryptocurrency? I need to justify the speculation's probability.

Yes and no. The thing is no country would agree with just one currency hence even if all the banks would be using one cryptocurrency then the governments will not agree with it. There might be a time though that everything is already in cryptocurrency form. Everything will be tokenized that we can buy water with water coin and buy food with food coin or something like that. In effect, your water coin will be worth the same wherever you are unlike if you have a dollar. A dollar may be able to buy a bottled water in the US but not in Africa where water is scarce.
91  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is best Bitcoin mixer now that Bitmixer.io is gone? on: March 13, 2018, 07:56:58 AM
Great to see that you guys just revived a topic from August of last year with the latest post was also from that time. Nice. Sarcasm

Bitmixer has been gone for a long time and the OP probably don't even ready any of the suggestions you people have placed here.
92  Economy / Speculation / Re: Shower thought. Would this start "killing" the banks? on: March 13, 2018, 07:53:42 AM
What if every person loaned money from a bank or maxed out their credit cards to buy Bitcoin and deliberately not pay out those debts. Would that start "killing" the banks or, at all events, dent their dominance?

Sorry if this might be a shit topic. But go ahead, discuss. Haha.

Well, I don't think people that got loans do not have other properties aside from the bitcoins they bought. But that would cause it to be another bubble like the housing bubble that happened back then. That bubble burst because in reality no one was really living in those homes but just being used as a speculative investment, much like bitcoins would be if people will max out loans just to buy bitcoins. I don't think it would happen again as banks and other credit services would have employed some sort of safeguards already.

Hello master crypto,
Will bitcoin run out due to mining? and
If it runs out what's going on with bitcoin Huh

A quick google search would have answered your question real quick and without the hassle of posting, waiting for an answer, checking, and reading the answer. Next time be more resourceful and stop being lazy.
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To quit gambling is to quit yourself on: March 12, 2018, 07:11:44 PM
Quit yourself means destroying yourself, apparently from what OP has suggested. However, in my opinion, this is quite hard to do as you are totally changing what you are it seems. But that is not possible, you are who you are. The best thing is still to just remove the negative traits you possess such as the addiction to gambling and all other negativeness. This is like you built a house, but the toilet is not working so you decide to destroy the whole house just to fix it.
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling on: March 12, 2018, 07:05:09 PM
Some people think that strong feeling affect the outcome of your bet. But for me its all about luck., what do you think guys.

Will thinking enough about cute puppies, rainbows, cotton candy, etc. change the fact that each time you roll on dice the chances of winning is 49.5% (assuming 1% house edge) to double your money? I don't think so. Silly question! The answer is too obvious!

99  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Latest & Breaking News on Cryptocurrency on: March 09, 2018, 11:22:35 PM
Find what’s going on in cryptocurrency market, what is the price, who is in the loss, which are the new digital currencies and much other latest news at coinpedia
Click on the link to get latest news: https://coinpedia.org/news

Since you named the website with a "pedia" on the end. I think it would be extremely better if you would create some sort of wikipedia version for cryptocurrencies, and better focus on that than news. The news though is something good, but should be a side business. It would be better to capitalize on your assets rather than go the more mainstream approach.
100  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin down ( Mt. Gox is dumping ) on: March 09, 2018, 11:19:42 PM
Yeah the Mt. Gox, certainly he is the most hated guy at this very moment and might be curses from all over the world. Lolz. Well im not sure how much holdings he has left with or even im surprised to know that he still holds many more and about to dump it.

I think when the price will drop down Mt Gox wont sell anymore because he will be in loss as well. Or he has got so much power that he might just rebuy at the lower prices and again start the compounding investment. This way he can keep multiplying his wealth and might be responsible for increased prices again.  Cheesy

Would be the most probable prediction on how bitcoin price would be and might he be the manipulator of why the price drop and rise. But in any case he would not sell all his holdings because he will still want profit from it in the future.

I don't think he is in it for the profit since he does not actually own the bitcoins he is holding. They are just selling them for purposes of liquidating the assets of Mt.Gox and not really trading for profit. This is just to pay off the debts of the company when it declared bankruptcy. Then they will just distribute what they got from the sale. I am guessing they have everything in record and no single penny will go to the guy who is liquidating it.
