81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [RADS] Radium - Bringing Advanced Utility to the Blockchain on: October 01, 2017, 03:36:14 PM
Seems that for the past 2 weeks, every coin I stack is "generated but not accepted". I have about 20 of these. Only 1 accepted over the past 2 weeks. Anyone know what's going on?

Yeah its relatively normal to get orphaned stakes, you should maybe try restarting your wallet every so often. You should be getting roughly 1 stake per 1000 RADS so look at your RADS amount and calculate your expected average time to generate a stake.

Well, over the past month I've received .5 rads, but I have 24 that say "generated but not accepted".

Staking 600 rads at the moment.

I used to see some of these orphaned stakes, but since 9/1/17 it's just been nuts. Have restarted wallet several times, but doesn't seem to help.

Running the 1.4.6 Linux wallet, is this the most current? Anything else I can do?

For anyone who is just scanning thru this ANN... this is THE coin to own.

I own a LOT of crypto currency coins, including many of the bigs (Bitcoin, Ethereum, ect.). NONE of them have put together the list of functionality that the team here at Kore has put together.

Read thru the multiple announcements at the beginning of the thread and the various posts by MikeMike about what they are working towards and the motivation behind what they are doing.

I keep up with many, many coins and like Kore the most. I'm not associated in any way with the Kore team other than owning a few hundred Kore and following what's been going on in the Crypto arena for the past few years.

Do your own research and then do yourself a favor and pick up some Kore.

You'll be glad you did!

Awesome News KORE Team!! Super job guys, wallet looks great, update is brilliant! The features you guys are planning is a breath of fresh crypto air  Grin ..really awesome.

Regarding the swap, I'm sure full details will be released to ensure the safety of everyone's coins.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm looking forward to the new KORE wallet to be out myself!
We only suggest you do not transfer coins to any address the day of the swap if
you want to be extra careful and are not monitoring the transition time.
It is as easy as updating their wallet and yours. The transition will be smooth and painless.
You keep your main files and all your balances will be in the new wallet in the exact same addresses.
The same goes for Bittrex.
A guide with instructions will be posted but for the most part it will be what I just mentioned.

MikeMike

This is really great news! So am I understanding this correctly that the swap will simply require us to download a new wallet and simply copy over our existing wallet.dat file? That would be REALLY simple.

I'm running a Linux Mint system, will we have access to source so we can compile our wallets for our machines?

Thanks again Mike for all the awesome work!

Hello Fellas,

Happy friday to all.

Coinmarketcap updated the link for Kore website to the new one.

Wish a great weekend to everybody.

Tried to click on the link from Coinmarketcap and it gives a certificate error, then a 404 error.

www.kore.life site.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
 Smiley
Looks like the issue is resolved.
The link works.
We did upgrade the certificate so that could have been the issue...

MikeMike

Thanks for the quick attention to this Mike. I'm currently running the 2.2.1.0 Linux wallet. Is this the most current?

IMO, I would actually like to see 1000 Kore per masternode, reasoning that it will reduce the nr of masternodes running so the rewards would be more beneficial to big investors, since its splitted between less mn's. 500 mn's would then lock up 500 000 Kore which is 1/4 of the supply. BUT I'm sure less coins has some advantages as well. Will see I'm no dev nor coder

This site is nice for some comparison, only makes you realize how cheap Kore mn's currently are

https://masternodes.pro/

Interesting thing is I see is that dash has 59% of the supply locked up in mn's  Shocked 4549mn's on supply of 7 583 000, cost per mn 1000/ $346 000

I still think 500 coins per mn is the sweet spot. That's what I'd like to see it come in at.

Hey @8-bit-Party,

Any word on the new wallet? We really need work done to reduce the massive amount of resources it takes. Seems to need to re-org a lot and takes mega resources to do so, rendering most wallets unusable.

The chain also seems to periodically get stuck.

Is there ANY progress being made?

Question:

If staking and mn's have the same payout... what's the incentive for setting up a mn?
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [*] 8BIT [Dark Masternodes][Anon][Roadmap Stage 4] on: September 25, 2017, 02:50:44 AM
well, something is fucked.

stuck on 1063810

 sep. 22 14:30:40 2017

"errors" : "EXCEPTION: St9bad_alloc \nstd::bad_alloc \n8bit in ProcessMessages() \n"
}

That usually means it ran out of memory. Try restarting and adding more memory. I find it's hard to run with under 2 GB of memory and it really likes 4 GB to run smoothly.

Is 8bit dead!

Both block explorers aren't updating and I haven't seen a new block for almost 48 hours.

Anybody know what's going on???

Devs Team, please tell me a few things:
1. Number of coin to have masternodes?
2. When does coin burn, quantity?
3. When will the new wallet be released?
Thanks for your answer

Hi,
3- Doesn't everyone want to know...
The wallet will be released when it has completed the extensive testing.
2- There are a few options we are considering for the coins burning,
both fees for services based and ANON based. These if implemented
will be after most the tech for the wallet is released but could change.
1- We were considering between 200 and 500 due to KORE only having
just under 2 million coins in existence at this time.
We are Still working out the calculations.
KORE is an underdog, very extremely undervalued for what we are bringing to the table.
One of the newest calculations was 1k coins, which is what it is currently for the Masternodes
in the testnet wallet.
Short answer:
To be determined.

MikeMike

So before I was told that the masternodes/servicenodes wouldn't be above 500 coins. Now you're telling me that it could be 1000?
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: |ANN| DAS - Decentralized and Secure. Private Send. Masternodes. on: September 15, 2017, 04:47:00 PM
Hello!

I want to note that DAS wallet works stably well!
Masternodes bring profit, mining goes, DAS for its development time is not bad. The price will only grow, I assure you.
Many people write about updating the source code, not understanding what it's for!
I can update it every day! Add new checkpoints, etc!

I wanted to conduct a small survey of our community. What we really need:

1. What are you worried about in your wallet?

2. What kind of errors did you encounter?

3. What do you think needs to be changed and why?

Hey Truckman,

So you asked what you could do and what needs to be changed... well here it is:

There is a problem with the coin as far as mining goes.

The granatgas-pool is basically bulling the coin. I don't understand the entire thing, but they seem to mine the coin when the difficulty is low, and then bail as soon as a difficult block appears. If you really want to help, jump on the slack channel and there are several very smart people who can explain it better than I.

https://join.slack.com/t/godas/shared_invite/MjI5OTE5NzkyMDk2LTE1MDM0OTQxMTgtNDEwZGQyM2RjYg

So, there you have it. THAT'S what needs to be done, so if you were serious in what you said, let's get this fixed.

We really need the dev to fix the wallet to show the correct amount of masternode payments coming in. We also need the block explorer to sync up: http://193.70.109.114:5003 is way behind and not moving.

Notching is wrong with the network as everything is working fine. All you your rewards are credited to your wallet,if you are having difficulty seeing please restart your wallet and you will be able to see it. Stop complaining about explorer not sync, that is not the only explorer we have, if that one got sticker there is always an alternative on which you can view the transaction here

http://193.70.109.114

Excuse me, but if you want the coin to succeed, you need to fix PROBLEMS.

1) The explorer above has no API that I can find... serious crypto investors look for coins with working API's.
2) If your just running a wallet without a hot/cold setup, you can't keep restarting your wallet.
3) I have spoken with support via Slack and they have acknowledged that these ARE problems and are working to resolve.
4) With all the negativity surrounding this coin, I suggest you take a better attitude towards investors.
