all the community of 8bit coin should send a Complaining ticket to cryptopia,
let's make some presure on them in order to bring the wallet back online.
I sincerely believe that cryptopia people have not wanted to solve their wallet, because here in the forum people who do not know anything about crypto coins have been able to synchronize the wallet. The solution is to list 8bit in another exchange as novaexchange. For what you propose we have done before, and his silence is weeks I am afraid Cryptopia is not the only problem here... They want to sync using official nodes and check it using teh official block explorer. I am not sure whether official nodes currently are on the right chain, but block explorer is definitely stuck: http://explorer.8-bit.ga/ is still on block 994046, which is pretty old block (from Jul 30)... Dev has to fix this somehow, and only after that we can start pushing Cryptopia. @8Bit Party Please look into fixing the block explorer so we can get Cryptopia moving.... I'd also like a working block explorer as would many, I'm sure. |

masternodes.pro is a site that shows the ROI for people thinking of setting up a masternode for certain coins (those listed and the price paid for). there are no ROI figures for piecoin yet as the masternodes are not yet integrated ghostfaceuk..thank you! I have searched a bit at google at the while.  So i need a PC that operates 24/7 and enough coins for a masternode? When we know how much coins we need. So it is a fixed ROI when i have a masternode? Must i have a wallet or how can i do that? I am sorry. I see the most of the people here have a lot of knowledge about mining, etc.. I am only interested in this coin and hold some others, but i donīt have the knowledge. I am learning!  To make it short, to run a masternode you will need a precise amount of coin (not yet anounced), you will have to send this exact amount of coin on a wallet and from there you will have to set up few things too long to be detailed here. There will be a complete tutorial for everyone posted everywhere to help people setting up a masternode and running it, don't worry. It's not really complicated. You can run your wallet on your computer or on a vps. Don't forget that for now, you can still stake your coins until masternodes come out. Then you would probably prefer to set up a masternode (if you have enough coins) rather than keep staking as the rewards would be more important. ROI means Return On Investment and is calculated based on the price of the coin and the number of total masternodes running on the network (the less masternodes are running, the higher is the reward for each). You can also add to that the price fluctuation. For example, if your masternode rewards you with 10 coins per day which are worth 0,01$ each at x date. Maybe in the future they will be worth more (or less). So you can potentially earn more money by keeping your coins until the price rise. I hope it's clear, feel free to ask any question. Is there an ETA for when masternodes will be available to run (and the number of coins needed)? |

Trying to get the wallet to compile on Linux.
Have tried qt4, qt5.7, and qt5.4. Get an error on every one.
Can someone tell me the qt version that will work to get it to compile?

wallet used to work, not is just says "activating best chain" for 5 hours +.... guess there is no best chain... and my wallet was synced

Just donated $21 or 0.008 BTC. Now if we can just get 8 more people to do the same.... Can donate some too, but what MN.pro can give the project? What so special in it? Masternodes.pro gives quite a bit of exposure to masternode coins. People go there looking for a good roi masternode coin. If DAS is out there, it's roi will put it at the top, which will bring in new people to the coin, which in turn will bring up the price. Only $127 to go... let's go people! |

I get through all the MN steps, and then when I type "masternode start <MY WALLET PASSPHRASE>" in the debug console window, it just returns "You must set masternode=1 in the configuration (code -32603)"
I thought I had did that in the config file.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I really hope 8bit project doesn't die off because it has many potentials....!  Agreed. If we can get Bittrex and Cryptopia with fully working wallets and some dev interaction here, this could really take off. |
