Dargo/support, looking forward for any information regarding the bug related to non filled orders. It seems to be a serious issue.

Dargo, just to follow up tbosman post, if you would have change the decimal precision of any currency pair please do inform (at least here) because my opensourced kraken interface library (link in signature) already handle currently used number of decimal places.
Such change would affect a lot of customers due to this library is opensource on MIT license so can be easily used anywhere.

thanks Dargo for clarification, let us know (the old Tier 3) when this upgrade will be ready and We can start to apply via support. Currently I had to stop trading on kraken for a while to restore monthly limits Sad

Avalaxy, what platform/language are you going to code? kraken auth process is quite complex but it is not a way more complex then the other exchanges. It is not hard to use currently provided examples and similar examples from other markets (there will be tons of them). In my signature you can find another language code to handle auth on kraken.
About api keys security, I believe there is no better alternative now to be used.

Is there any way to increase deposit/withdrawal limits without having a company (which is required for Tier 4 verification)?
already discussed, conclusion: you may try to ask support, in my case it did nothing, but they state they will increase limits very soon for all Tier 3.

Hi, can we have a BTCLTC kraken on your site? there are already BTCEUR and LTCEUR from kraken. And BTCLTC volume is already as high as LTCEUR.
any news about that? from technical point of view it should be a piece of cake as you already have two currency pairs from kraken.
besides BTCLTC would be the first such pair on your platform
The BTCLTC is different from other exchange LTCBTC and the volume is not high enough, only 34.72 in last 24 hours. so it will not be added currently.
In terms of volume BTCLTC is now 50% of the LTCEUR volume, as mentioned before it was the same volume a little bit time ago.
Also that BTCLTC is different from LTCBTC I see more as an advantage than disadvantage.
Anyway, lets just wait for more volume, kraken is the highest quality market at the moment so it is just a matter of time Smiley
Regards

works like a charm Smiley

next thing i need is the orderbook. all i found is

/money/depth/fetch

but i think i might run into ddos protection, cause what i want to do, is to closely watch the orderbook max 6 btc away from the last price, so i would have to update it at least after each new trade. websocket isnt for me.. do you have a tip for me?
thx!
there is a 'quote' method on mtgox - check it - as I remember it works only one way, not sure which
thread about mtgox market depth (much more than 6btc): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=194868

To sum up discussion above about the two display issues, people are 1) experiencing an an issue with the recent trades and order book sometimes not displaying and 2) an issue with the drop down chart. We'll look into this, but I haven't been able to reproduce any of it so far.

For those wanting bitcoin-euro or litecoin-euro charts, I recommend just using bitcoinwisdom - the charts are far better than what we provide.

http://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/kraken/ltceur
I believe they are the best free charts so far, any chance for btc/ltc there? it has already quite good volume on kraken

Please note that the ticket will automatically be closed within 1 hours if we don't hear back.
Maybe BTC-e support drinks too much  Grin
It's funny cause I just thought the same thing Smiley They want to close ticket in one hour of not hearing back from you? It looks like kind of joke.

Is anybody here who can give me an advice what to do ?
Keep asking here? I don't think there is any other better way. And of course do not make the same mistake again.
btc-e is good but not for fiat and not in support.

All Litecoin deposits are safe. An internal technical issue is preventing some accounts from being properly credited with LTC. All pending transactions will be credited shortly.
How fast is it going to be fixed? the quote is 2h ago.
Ticket was created, ltc are not credited, no reply in the ticket so far (#14803).
There are some cases when time is not so critical, this is not such case. Please adjust the priorities of resolving the tickets. If you are aware of the issue/bug (as you mention on facebook profile), fix it ASAP and then go back to regular support tasks. So far you have the best support and best exchange, keep it going. don't screw it Smiley

edit: confirm - resolved for me.

I'd like to see higher standard rate limits as well. It's an issue I've raised before with the devs, but not in quite a while, so I'll raise it again. We're planning a websocket for streaming data as well, but I think it's realistically going to be at least a few months for that. In the meantime, though, feel free to inquire about the higher rates for market makers as I suggested above.
My ticket regarding such case (#13389) is already waiting 2 weeks.

Regarding the alt currencies with low volumes, I believe there is no point to adding new ones as there are no other strong enough coin (verified by market cap and time) than btc, ltc, nmc. But I see no point of keeping XRP and XVN, they requires additional support and are in fact dead or will be dead in near future because of their concept. At least they should be hidden from regular interface and available as option switch in settings. Also Korean fiat currency is redundant for most of the world - more fiat currency is very very good but they should be visible as option by switch in settings. If you want to have good feedback prepare survey for all registered users.
93  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TradePickler - pull MtGox trade data without bigquery - please vote on: January 02, 2014, 07:51:14 PM
the R script provided above, finished for all currencies on mtgox, can be adjusted for bitstamp too. In fact it can integrate all of the markets available on bitcoincharts.com csv api.
In terms of it's speed the bottleneck is transfer rate from bitcoincharts.com, and nothing more, I believe it will be hard to beat it.
94  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Rbitcoin - R & bitcoin integration (mtgox, bitstamp, btce, kraken) on: January 02, 2014, 01:36:07 PM
Update was done recently, current version is 0.8, heavily extended, all changes listed in NEWS on the package homepage in CRAN. Rbitcoin v0.8 Windows binaries are not yet in all of the mirrors so it is recommended to download now using:
Code:
install.packages("Rbitcoin", dependencies = TRUE, repos = "http://cran.us.r-project.org")

because USD is going down, better go out from USD to EUR if you are going to hold fiat for a while

Is that even possible if you already have fiat in USD in the account

Buy BTC with your USD. Sell the BTC for EUR.

Is Kraken shutting down their USD section
I believe they are not shutting down, they are waiting for more approvals in different states. It seems to be much more difficult to operate in US then in Europe. There are already announced some state(s) in the first half of 2014 on kraken.

Dear btc-e support,

Please take a look at the:
Ticket ID: VDH-548-26092

The withdrawal is listed as processed in the btc-e platform transaction history but not confirmed on blockchain and not delivered to target address.

It seems to be the same issue as the two below recently described in this topic, I believe you can resolve them in a batch:

at least for me the issue is resolved, don't know about the two others. Thanks

Dear btc-e support,

Please take a look at the:

The withdrawal is listed as processed in the btc-e platform transaction history but not confirmed on blockchain and not delivered to target address.

It seems to be the same issue as the two below recently described in this topic, I believe you can resolve them in a batch:
Went to withdraw some LTC from my account on BTC-E yesterday.
Got the transaction email, confirmed it, and my BTC-E account history says that it was processed.
(Yes, the address is correct -- double, triple, etc, checked that. I'm sure it is correct.)

However, block-explorer shows that BTC-E never sent the LTC.

Submitted two tickets, no response; most recent ticket LLP-816-49136.
Have the feeling that BTC-E is going to keep the LTC for themselves; but I hope not...
could you please check my support ticket #CQH-487-91477
I did a withdrawal of 2075 LTC to the address LMYu5HJqKXS2K1mhzhGJWZXs55NtU7hxRU but i have not received anything.
The transaction history shows that the order #221453562 was completed but i did not get the coins.

Kraken should make a number of short youtube videos explaining how to place orders via their platform.

yes that will be great! Smiley
like they said especially for advanced view..
have you read kraken trading guide?
