Order and payment do it.  Grin

What is the recommended fan diameter?

120mm

In fact, there is a special price right now for a 4 pack of cooler master fans on amazon right now.

I found this interesting:

Will be back after 24th, currently traveling.
Blades are 3.5 or less at that time. Sticks within 15-20% of .10 or less.

Hi guys - there's good movement on the CC payment processing front.  I finally found a processor that self-underwrites and is already hip to Bitcoin.  They are in fact already processing for some well known Bitcoin related companies.  I expect to be able to collect payments for all pending CC orders in about 7 - 10 days.

I've received more M-boards and I plan to begin shipping the late August orders tomorrow.  I expect it to take us two days to get the 36 orders out the door.  Once we ship everything out, Jared will calculate the amount of BTC you guys would have earned and then we will contact you (via your order email) for a payment address.  Please DO NOT send us a payment address - it will get ignored if it doesn't come back from our request email.

What else...the MegaBigPower.com team has continued to grow - I'll make some announcements about that soon.  I'm really excited about what this will mean for faster shipping, better customer service, better support and more hosting capacity!

I'm having a fun little USB miner made for those of you who can't help but collect these kinds of things.  I'm making only 500 units.  If they sell well, I'll keep making more.  I expect to have them in stock and shipping immediately in about two weeks.  They will be up on the store, but not for sale until they are in stock - no more presale items - its a condition of accepting credit cards.  Here's a pic of first run devices.  The next run will be "Limited Edition" red PCB with red anodized aluminum heatsinks:

I still have another project in the works that is prototype-in-hand.  I hope to be able to release images and perf specs in the coming days...

Cheers,
Dave

You're not the hero this forum deserves, but you're the one we need right now.

What day in August September did the majority of August orders start shipping?

Tada!

Ha, yeah...

I just read skimmed the pages from about page 40 on to see that the majority of shipping happened between September 2ndish to September 8thish and that people have been waiting on replacement m boards that are supposed to ship by end of next week.

One thing I will say though, as a former (and current, still waiting...) BFL customer, that man, Dave is awesome. He actually helps his customers and seems to have a modicum of respect for people posting on the board. Night and day. I'm glad I waited and went with him for this next order. It's honestly making me consider taking the plunge of grabbing an extra h-board.

Add to that how helpful everyone on this thread is to each other (minus a few mini flamewars that spring up).

Just ordered an October starter kit.

What kind of a power supply should I use if I'm going to be using one of these cases?

I didn't see this in the thread so I thought I would ask.

Is there any specific power supply that people recommend?

I'll be using it in conjunction with one of the open air metal cases that Spotswood makes, so I'd like it to be able to fit in that.

Also sent you a PM to let you know about the email in case you miss it = )

NB: was working fine for 1-2weeks, now burned out.

95  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Which USB hub to use with Block Erupters or NanoFury NF1? A List. on: September 16, 2013, 10:53:54 PM
For good measure here's some pictures of my setup using the 13 port hubs provided by WTCR: http://imgur.com/a/ddCPb

Nice solution. I think I'll sink mine into the case as well and place a speed-reduced 92mm fan over them.
Just ordered 2 more of those hubs.

Are you located in Canada or the US? Just wondering how you're able to justify the shipping (which actually costs more than the item itself.)

I work at WTCR ;].

Let me know how many your looking for and I can probably work out a deal!

PM sent.

Man, I'm jealous of all you folks with those internal hubs.

I just checked pricing this morning w/shipping and bleh it sucks.

It would cost me 0.37 for the hub and then I'd have to tack on like .31 for shipping, and that's really not cheap. I'm basically looking at 85 dollars or so total. So I'm looking at around 6.50 per usable port.

If I go with the recommendation from Visdude I'm looking at... 8.86 for this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002FFZGCU/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (I went with the amazon prime shipping option) and I already ordered one of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/5V-5A-AC-DC-Power-Supply-Replacement-Adapter-with-2-1mm-x-5-5mm-Tip-Center-/220961860354?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item33725a6b02 for 12.24.

With that option above I'm looking at approx 3.01 per usable port, and I actually plan on only running 5/6 each in those, which at the most with only 5 ports puts me at about 4.22 per port.

Still considerably cheaper.

I'm not sure how much longer I'll be grabbing erupters though with the constant rise in insane difficulty every 2000 blocks.

HAIL BROTHER THCST8! FOR THY HAS CREATED A TEMPLE FIT FOR THE GREAT DARK ONE!

Where may we pray for offerings from the Dark one together, in some sort of group offering?

Unfortunately there is not yet a house of worship created for the Great Dark Lord.

I do not have the proper knowledge in such matters, however, great offerings will undoubtedly be poured upon a brother or sister that can build such a temple in His name.
