I really feel the need to add some October boards to my August Start Kit.  But my calculator tells me that unless I have them by October 7 they won't ROI.
So am I looking at this wrong?  There are 179 boards left to sell so I guess there some with the same fear.
And what about those who bought the 300+ boards.  Regrets now or will Dave & Co. still make it worth our while to purchase?

Without drastic price drops this is probably a hobbyist item... but there isn't anything wrong with that. I have one on order too.

Just do the pencil mod trick to overclock your H-boards to buy you more hash. I'm doing 32Gh/s steady on my starter kit now for over 12 hours now. Be sure to cool it. I'll have 12 H-board total in October and should hopefully get above 375Gh/s out of my rig then.

How do you do that.? Do you have the link to how to guide or something.?

Last I heard is that Dave will ship out the remaining August orders this Friday:     9/20.

My biggest concern is that bitcoin difficulty has gone from 65,750,060  to now 112,628,549  Hopefully they won't forget me Smiley

Dave, can you give us an idea of the schedule now based on the Fab delay?  Specifically, does it look as though the delay will affect October orders?

October orders are not affected by any August delays at this point.  If anything they are a learning experience to streamline the process.

Just ordered an October starter kit.

What kind of a power supply should I use if I'm going to be using one of these cases?

seasonic never disappoints - a 750 w should be able to power the whole thing with 16 boards (correct me if i'm wrong)

Correct. Full rig, overvolted to run @ 500GH/s draws 430w with a 750w Corsair PSU.

I highly recommend the Corsair Platinum AX Series PSUs.  I currently have 4; 2 in PCs, 1 running a Blade setup and another for my Bitfury.  They are cool and silent.  The fan rarely even spins.  And as difficulty rises, power efficiency becomes even more important.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=40000058%20600112163&IsNodeId=1&Description=Corsair%20psu

Note: Save a few dollars and don't by the 'i' version unless its going into a PC.  You won't use the CorsairLink device to run your Bitfury.

Hey Dave, I have an October preorder for a Starter Kit and 3 H boards.  I bought a couple starter kits from eBay sellers so I already have two ver.1 M boards.  I just could wait until October!  Lol.

Is there any chance I could convert my October starter to 2 H boards instead or receive store credit if I cancel my October Starter Kit order.  I'd much rather have more hashing power than another M board.  I don't want to lose my place in line, so if that's the case, nevermind.

Also, since I bought these two Starter Kits from resellers, I suppose I wouldn't qualify for the ver.2 M Board, correct?

Thanks!

A full rig runs around 330 watts at the wall - so a 750 watt psu will be just fine (overkill).

This is the power supply I am using, its a 700 watt rebranded seasonic 80 plus gold.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CGY4ET6/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I paid 80 USD for it after mail in rebate.

I definitely would not go with a cheap power supply.    Its worth spending the few extra dollars to ensure that it doesn't fry your investment.

I think Oct order customers should prepare for late Oct delivery scenario since the 200TH farm still running at 53TH atm. But punin said he should have new boards this week and need to sort it out for 400GHz kit.

Quote
We should be getting boards next week, so we're looking very good regarding shipping everything in time in october. We will start with preparing the 400GH units (as these require hand-picking of the cards).
