82  Economy / Collectibles / [AUCTION] 2013 Bitcoin Suisse AG note -- non-denominated on: December 24, 2017, 12:25:49 AM
This auction is for one unfunded 2013 Bitcoin Suisse AG non-denominated note, serial #23X5381674TXI

These Bitcoin Suisse notes are very thoughtfully constructed and lovely to look at, a great non-coin option for cold storage. I'm surprised we don't see more of them.

Mostly because I am lazy, this has been kept in the original envelope it arrived in. The proof of purchase is pictured below, as I am the original owner.

This is a great addition to any collection.

Starting bid: .001 BTC
Bid increments: .001 BTC
End time: Thursday 12/28/2017 at 6:00 PM ET (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/usa/new-york)

Sniping: Any bids within the last 30 minutes will cause the auction end time to be extended by 30 minutes, until there are no more bids.

Shipping: US shipping is .001 BTC. Buyer pays international shipping at a rate to be determined (shipping from US). Escrow is welcome, but fees must be paid by the buyer.

Reputable bidders only.

Watch out for scammers & make BTC payments only to this address, which is in my signature: 1H78y8FVeQrWY6KnxA6WLFQGUoajCuiMAu. Altcoin payment is a *possibility* which may be discussed at auction close, but if so the agreed terms will be published here in the auction thread -- do not fall for scam DMs!

Happy holidays to you too! I have always really enjoyed this particular corner of the bitcoin universe. Lots of great people, and I wish you all the best in the new year!
86  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] 2014 Titan Tenth -- .1 BTC (funded) on: December 21, 2017, 12:53:17 PM
Can you clarify if it is fully funded? I don't understand how to get the first bits from the QR code

You use the 8 digit code beneath the QR and visit the verify page on Titan's website.
When you enter it in it shows the coin type and funding status as well as the full address.
You can see it here: https://www.titanbtc.com/verify/kMMXkKC6/

Coin is confirmed as fully funded.

Thank you, yes. I should have explained that for those not familiar with TitanBTC's system. The code on the back of the coin is specific to TitanBTC, and lets one look up a coin in their database. Once that page is pulled up, though, the BTC address is visible and may be viewed on the blockchain as normal.
87  Economy / Collectibles / [AUCTION] 2014 Titan Tenth -- .1 BTC (funded) on: December 20, 2017, 03:30:33 PM
This auction is for one funded 2014 Titan BTC .1 BTC piece (#kMMXkKC6)

Titan BTC has made a lot of beautiful coins, but this is the only coin they've made in the 1/10 BTC denomination. It is a lovely coin made with a nickel-silver alloy (not precious metal). This is one of the private-key coins, not 2FA. I am the original owner, and I purchased it directly from TitanBTC.com -- there are some weird counterfeits on eBay, but this is not one of them.

This is a pre-forks coin.

Proof of funding here.

This is a beautiful coin in excellent condition, which has been kept in storage in its air-tite. It is a great addition to any collection.

91  Economy / Collectibles / [AUCTION] AsicMiner USB Block Erupters x 5 -- rainbow collection! on: December 09, 2017, 04:58:02 PM
This auction is for 5 old AsicMiner USB Block Erupters, in a variety of colors: blue, silver, red and two different versions of black. While I believe they all worked the last time I used them, that was a while ago and I do NOT advise buying them for mining. I will not be available for technical support, and of course they would not be profitable anyway. They are a nifty piece of mining history, however, and would be a fun addition to any collection, or dare I say, museum!

These are items for the discerning collector.

I have one of these, too -- just like above, with case & instructions, from the crowdfunding campaign. I wasn't thinking of selling it, but what are they going for? It is pretty nifty. I wrote about it here.
93  Economy / Collectibles / Re: MESSAGE FROM GRAVITATE CASH OUT COINS NOW on: September 07, 2017, 11:04:34 PM
Each PBC coin had a different set of instructions for what you needed to do

I bought a PBC coin and redeemed it successfully a couple of years ago. I'm trying to remember what I was told as there was a little process to go through but it wasn't as complicated as the one listed. The private key printed on the coin starts with a K. I must have written the process down somewhere so I'll dig around.

Does anyone have his full Dox?

He used to have a scan of his passport on his website. He certainly looked after me when I bought from him so it's a shame it's all gone tits up.

Edit - I wrote the correct private key down too. With my PBC coin I had to add a 5 to the front and reverse the final two letters of what was printed on the coin.

It was like this for me as well - it wasn't a complicated transformation or anything, it was just reversing a couple letters. Unfortunately, he either didn't send me the instructions with the coin (bought directly from him), or they weren't quite right, I don't remember -- regardless, I had to contact him to get the correct redemption instructions.

In his favor, he was very helpful and did help me redeem the 1 BTC PBC coin. But of course then I was glad I'd redeemed it, because if I'd sold it to someone else and then it had been unredeemable, and he'd been unreachable... the blood runs cold with terror.

And now that's where we're at all over again. I've re-sold a few low-denomination Microsoul coins. Are these people going to be knocking at my door in a few years when BTC hits $100k, and somehow I'm on the hook now? Thanks, gravitate.

Congratulations, we have a winner! And a great price -- when factoring in the BCH, this is barely above face value.

I think you'll be happy with this coin -- it looks better in person than in the pics. PM incoming.

You are doing a disservice to anyone who has chosen to continue to hold your coins. Your post sounds as if you are declaring "no confidence" in your own product. You are hurting the value of your coins, and in so doing you are actively hurting your past customers financially. What was your lawyer's advice about this?
100  Economy / Collectibles / [AUCTION] 2013 bhCoin series 2 (funded) #0192 on: August 29, 2017, 04:22:53 PM
This auction is for one funded 2013 nickel-plated brass bhCoin .1 BTC piece. I am the original owner.

This coin arrived from the manufacturer with light scuffing on the "BTC". Since I received an identical coin with the same wear marks (which I auctioned earlier in the year), I suspect this occurred during shipping from the creators, since these were originally shipped in oversize capsules which allowed the coins to slide around (during their trip from Argentina). Otherwise, it occurred during manufacture, as I have kept them in new, foam-ringed airtites since I received them. I *suspect* this type of wear was common for these coins.

Nonetheless, this is a handsome coin, and uncommon. I believe the number of these made was very small (I thought 100 or so?). Because of its vintage, it also contains BCH, CLAMs, etc. This is a great addition to any collection.
