81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you have 100+ BTC ? - How do you plan to cashout ? on: June 09, 2016, 04:53:59 AM
so much dribble in this thread, i wish i remembered to self moderate it Sad

locking this topic, as its just full of dribble, with nobody providing anything useful at all.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Within 10 years we will all own more than 21 Million Bitcoins each on: June 09, 2016, 04:51:40 AM
thats how exchanges work

all commodities including oil

everything is leveraged out

X 100,000

of what actually exists

you obviously have no idea how leverage on trading exchanges work.

83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Struggles in earning bitcoins on: June 09, 2016, 04:49:14 AM
good idea is to just stop wasting your time on faucets

the reward does not justify the time spent
you are too late to the party sorry

much better to just buy btc, whatever you can afford
and buy as often as possible

you are just wasting your time looking for free bitcoins these days
84  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling Bitcoin Account (Only Malaysia) on: June 09, 2016, 04:43:30 AM
LOL

funny

do people actually fall for these ?

Unfortunately account trading is allowed on this forum, so others can trade on a reputation acquired by someone else. This makes the exchanges and other places less trustworthy, but it's hard to stop scammers outright.

the accounts i can undertsand, this happens everywhere
but they just happen to also include 10 BTC, which screams scam,
means you need turn up with at least $6000 (or ringit eq') just to cover the 10 BTC

if they were trading they would know now is not really a good time to cash out 10 btc
and i assume they only want to meet in person in malaysia only

87  Economy / Services / Re: Buying FULLY verified SpectroCoin card. on: June 06, 2016, 04:31:29 AM
If you can pay that much money. then you should contact official spectrocoin bitcointalk account. describe your problem and ask them to ship a Verified card to you by manually. I am sure he can help you. here is his profile link:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=317543
seems the OP does not want to obtain via normal route for anon reasons
as they do send to US, and have cards in USD
but what the OP is looking for is someone to receive the card at their address
as he will provide (not his) details to verify card

$30 is a bit cheap really for what he is actually asking for
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10,000 Bitcoin Pizza Party - celebrate bitcoin's storied history this July 4 on: June 03, 2016, 06:36:15 AM

89  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: June 03, 2016, 05:36:37 AM
So I see 2 threads of why islam hates people or why people hate Islam. I dont see the point of such a mundane debate based on religion any debate for or against religion would be stupid. Either you are stupid to believe what a prophet / god / divine entity said or you are stupid enough to believe you can change the minds of the bleak minded people who follow such a prophet / god / divine entity.

But since its fun let me initiate my own brand of 'why do' topic.

WHY DO ATHEISTS (like me) HATE RELIGION ?

Seriously what has to happen in a person's life for them to seriously give up hope on the one true everlasting brand (of religion) which their ancestors have followed for generations.

Everyone has their own story even I have mine, so lets hear some of it.

i am athiest, i do NOT hate religion
but you should NOT make assumptions that athiests HATE
as this clearly shows what athiests disagree with

People that follow religions are brainwashed to accept what is written,
or worse accept what they are told by man which usually differs from what is actually written.
There is no HATE towards anyone of any religion, HATE only comes from religions. (religions = wars)
If you want to be religious and live your life how someone else has told you, then that is your choice,
there is no hate towards you.

As an athiest i believe in myself only, if i have questions, then i find the answer by myself.

Now just because i am athiest also does not mean i am ignorant to religions, it just means i do not follow them.
i am not a fanboy of any religion.

all religious books do have some part in history IMO,
but the books are misinterprateted and have been misused by man in order to take control of populations.

too many discoveries that pre date religions are now uncovered and will soon need to be accepted by mainstream scholars,
which will contridict many religious beliefs
90  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think about 9/11 mystery? on: June 03, 2016, 05:17:14 AM
what mystery ?

It was a controlled demolition
i said this while watching it live as it happened,
anyone that does not think it was a controlled demolition is just blind, ignorant, brainwashed, gullible,
and has no idea about basic physics.

The planes and theatre were just to help the propoganda

The twin towers were also built using aspestos through the entire buildings and had to be demolished anyway,
but doing it properly would have been ridiculously expensive.
91  Other / Politics & Society / Re: should women be blamed for wearing daring dress thus reason they were raped on: June 03, 2016, 05:11:02 AM
Not sure if blaming is the correct term, but a woman wearing hijab is certainly much less likely to be raped than a woman wearing bikini..
thats because one is on a beach or in a park or wherever she chooses to be alone or not
and the other is locked up in a cupboard and only allowed out when supervised
92  Bitcoin / Meetups / Pattaya Meetup on: June 03, 2016, 04:54:33 AM
looking to arrange a meetup

no date set, no venue set

but add names so we can see how many interested and we can arrange

93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to encourage miner-decentralization? on: June 03, 2016, 04:19:09 AM
your idea is a few years too late
and if it would work someone would already be doing it
like the miners that have already earned millions from mining
and are constantly looking for new ways to get an edge over other miners
oh and did i mention they also have millions to spend when looking for new mining setups

lol, heat up water in the desert
there is no water there,
hence desert

how about you take your idea to the sahara,
get everything going, but instead of mining you just sell electric
or use that electric to make water via condensation and sell the water
now you have water and electric for sale in the middle of the desert
it would only take a couple of years and you could rule half of Africa
only take some glass and black paint etc.
so wont cost you much
94  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Muslim Bitcoiner on: June 03, 2016, 04:13:33 AM
Oh please don't get religion involved in Bitcoin. Can the mods please remove this discussion?
have you reported this thread yet ?
this thread should be removed for a few reasons
but mainly religion has no place here at all, regardless of whats being asked

MODS REMOVE THIS THREAD
95  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Muslim Bitcoiner on: June 03, 2016, 04:07:25 AM
The OP is basically asking,
is scamming people with bitcoin against his religion.
bitcoin is a currency so any religious rules apply to it the same as other money, for those that belive in religion.

BUT TAKE NOTE:

Bitcoin does not discriminate,
Bitcoin is for everyone

There is no place for religion/racism or PC in bitcoin.

Most posts in this thread should be deleted.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should there be public awareness campaigns to warn new users about Ponzi schemes on: June 01, 2016, 02:38:06 AM
if you start telling newbies about ponzis
people may start to think thats all btc is used for, scams

instead inform newbies, btc is like any other currency, so protect it like you would money.

anything else they need to use their own commen sense
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: £9m Bitcoin Haul on: June 01, 2016, 02:33:16 AM
only thought that comes to mind

is why werent these bitcoins protected ?

do the owners give them up to the authorities ?

why do they not have secure storage methods, surely the people that obtain this amount of coins which ever way they do, must have enough brains to know how to store so nobody can get to them

all i wonder is how the authorities confiscate them ?
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One hour and 24 minutes and no new block ... ouch on: June 01, 2016, 02:26:08 AM
Whichever side of the block size debate you may be, this particular bitcoin headache (time between blocks) is still imho a problem. And it never gets debated, while ETH,  which IIRC has a shorter time between blocks is busy stealing the show Sad

You were a bit unlucky there. On the other hand this is transaction i made today (https://blockchain.info/tx/991b67bc5f7772b8582150b465c654a09c06e42e26f03b801eb79b8d97cf915f)
it was confirmed as soon as i made it Smiley literealy it took just like 1 minute to first confirmation :]

Well that's the thing, when it comes to how fast a transaction confirms luck should not be part of the equation, at least not on a timescale of hours (seconds maybe ok). Bad for business, and limits what can be done. How fast a transaction confirms should be a purely auction based, and given enough fees applied to a tx, it should confirm within a second.
can you state the amount transferred and fees paid ?
also post tx hash for us to see

personally i never have an issue, with tx speed or confirmations, i was speaking to someone that told me though, that moving larger amounts that have sat somewhere for a while will be confirmed much quicker than small amounts that have been moving around recently
99  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scammer Alert on: May 28, 2016, 10:43:21 AM
Profile : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=205149

You didn't provide enough proof that he scammed you (PMs , conversation on Skype or other social media websites , Transaction screenshot etc...)
If he really did scam you as you claim , I'm sorry but it's your fault ... I mean who deal with a "Brand new" account without a single post and trust history and without an escrow and expect to get a smooth transaction ?

@mki8 Racist .

i am not racist you bafoon, just search his name,
nigerians are very well known and are very good at scams, especially online.

you are very naive if you do not know this
i have no hate towards anyone (which is what you are claiming)
but the geo location of person you are dealing with for first time should make alarm bells ring if they are from or are in Nigeria.

You are also making assumptions about myself, which you have no clue about.

you should crawl back in that PC hole of yours.

100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: where you get bitcoin news every day ? on: May 28, 2016, 10:22:28 AM
I get all of what I need from here. That's the best source of information, and it can be commented.

after you flick through pages and pages of dribble here
too many people just chatting here, and most are misinformed or are misinforming
