81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help! need 1500 People for Graduation project!!!! on: June 12, 2019, 09:38:44 AM
Nice. Happy to help you out. It is nice that the community are helping you out. You only just made this thread. How many have you got right now?
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Begins to Be Used in the Football Industry on: June 12, 2019, 09:34:46 AM
I am not really a fan of sports, however many are. Football is especially popular and people are passionate about it. It is an untapped market. If you could get sportsmen and women along with a cryptocurrency then you could really create a difference. There have been other projects that have tried the same but failed. I think bitcoin would do better but there needs to be a very good marketing team for introducing fans to cryptocurrencies.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2019 - the year of crypto? on: June 12, 2019, 08:51:20 AM
I think 2016 and 2017 were the best years. 2016 I was collecting bitcoin and we were all earning from varies places and wonderful bounty campaigns. 2017 is when that boom happened and bitcoin went completely crazy.
I think that in this situation the most important thing is to maintain decentralization, otherwise we will lose this war.

Exactly. Down to regulations and giving our personal info. The authorities and government should have nothing to do with our currency.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We should Unit against Scam Project As a Crypto Community?? on: June 12, 2019, 08:43:33 AM
Crypto community is composed by thousands or millions of people, we can't expect everyone is going to endorse only legit projects. People need to understand it's part of every human societies and to not blame a community because there are scammers there.
Even the most advanced countries in the world have their issues and problematic people, but it doesn't make them smaller or weaker. I say the same about crypto currency. We can't cease scam projects, but we can't criticize crypto currency for this reason too.

Having this forum as biggest source of reliable information about cryptocurrency project,

DT members are doing their best to tagged out all the garbage projects from the legit ones, Even ICOEthics is doing a professional job in exposing scam.

We need to try rid ourselves as much as we can of scams. Most are obvious but they really just waste space and time. How great would it be if we knew we would always be paid?

With regards to DT members hopefully, this new trust system will help weed out the scammers and make them more apparent.
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs should target developing and third world countries on: June 12, 2019, 08:23:33 AM
In order for bitcoin ATMS to appear in some country, it is necessary to determine what percentage of people use cryptocurrency. In the third world, the technology is not very developed and the establishment of bitcoin ATMS will be impractical.

No but if the government or a company embrace the technology they can use it or maybe create their own cryptocurrency with their own ATM machines.

Here in India, a private crypto firm had installed a few Bitcoin ATMS in the city of Bangalore (South India). But only after a few days, these ATMs were confiscated by the authorities and the people who were behind the installation were charged with criminal charges. This was really confusing, because Bitcoin is currently not banned in India (although the politicians have plans for doing that) and no law or regulation states that it is illegal to own or operate a Bitcoin ATM within the national borders.

India sounds like a horrible place to live... -_- So they just take what is not theirs and steal it? The ATM is full of money and they just take it. Wow. Criminal charges such as? I can't see them being charged with anything.
What have they done? Nothing.
86  Economy / Speculation / Re: If history repeats itself, we could be in for a rally in June on: June 11, 2019, 11:31:38 PM
I agree with the person three posts up of mine. (With the graph) if you look at the graph you can see it just see saws. It is a similar situation to when bitcoin dropped down into that dio during the end end last year. The price stayed stable in the 3-4k for a long time and then went up in a very short time all of a sudden. Just like now bit now is 7-8k. I think this will just continue to happen in steps.
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indulging with cryptocurrencies could send you to jail in India on: June 11, 2019, 11:21:00 PM
I just heard this news, and I think it's too much.  Maybe the government just gives a ban to its people without having to give a prison sentence.  Maybe the Indian government considers the presence of Bitcoin a threat to them, so they act like that.  Whereas in other developed countries, it actually accepts and legalizes Bitcoin in their country, maybe the Indian government needs to see this.

They remind me of communists taking peoples freedom away.  Trying to control the people out of fear. I don't think they care how well bitcoin and cryptocurrency does on other countries because of this. Bootcoin doesn't need to be "legalized" anywhere. Do you think things have to be made legal just to be able to use it?
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How 18-year old boy became Millionare from Bitcoin on: June 11, 2019, 11:02:04 PM
OP did you write that or copy paste? If it was you I want to reward you with 2 merit points.

Quote
"I say if you do not become a millionaire in the next 10 years, then it’s your own fault."

It's a big statement! An 18 year old male who grew up in an affluent family, is not a good fit for making such statement! Becoming a millionaire doesn't make you eligible for such statements!

People come from different backgrounds, different financial situations and different family situations! To get a different perspective of life, speak to a slum boy someday!
I agree with you not everyone could become millionaire .
The boy surely doesn't know how it is to start from zero just by reading how he started in crypto you would already know that he is already wealthy enough to buy plenty of Bitcoin.
Surely he made some progress but we all know that he didn't do it on his own there are people who help him (Family) unlike most of us who are earning and feeding ourself .

This is all true. This child had the sense to invest his money instead of spend it on toys and gadgets and technology. He also times it well. Some of us didn't. We lost out. He had disposable money so he risked it. We didn't.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nicehash founder charged with fraud and racketeering arrest warrants 50 yrs jail on: June 11, 2019, 08:04:19 PM
Maybe people who use nicehash will lose trust, and start using another site or trying solo mining, but maybe some people will still use the site if they not meet any problem.

People don't really solomine. Unless it's for a new currency when the difficulty is low. There still many pools to join. Pools come out along with the currency. They cannot steal from you on a pool since the pay goes directly to your wallet address. They do charge a fee but that's only fair. I think most nicehash users have moved away from it to elsewhere. I would.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about a Bitcoin government ? on: June 11, 2019, 08:00:22 PM
This is like one of those "lets start over" sort of thing. Like an apocalypse to start the world over again.

I guess if a government was over thrown and replaced or a brand new one was formed together with bitcoin enthusiasts you could start your own country or town. The problem is where? I think almost all livable space is being used or owned by someone or has some future plan.

Perhaps one day we will see bitcoin used in space when we finally start exploring the galaxy for a new home since will killed earth. Then morning nodes would float around in space. I can see crypto becoming its own authority together with the people in a situation like that but not right now in the state the earth is in.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi came out with bitcoin2.0 would you use it? let`s say he used his keys on: June 11, 2019, 07:51:53 PM
Can you image how much having bitcoin 2.0 is going to confuse people. I can just see millions of $$ being lost from doing swaps from silly people who don't use proper security or who send everything in one transactions. I don't even get fork coins because I don't want to ever have any problem where I sent my coins to the wrong address or I lose access to them somehow. I very much dislike the idea of moving an entire wallet and every single bitcoin you own for fork.

If btc was to fork I would probably do the swap.

I want to use a metaphor for this because I don`t think 2 people understood in the polls.
Keep in mind Bitcoin 2.0 is not Bitcoin2 I have no clue what that is

Bitcoin = Playstation 1
Bitcoin 2.0 = Playstation 2

Bitcoins = the games

You can use ps1 games in a ps2. Why would you not accept a ps2 for free? LOL

You can't compare like that. Some "updates" are more like downgrades. Not all "upgrades" are an improvement.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Development for Bitcoin to reduce CO2 footprint on: June 11, 2019, 07:46:37 PM
It's all relative. Do you know how much energy we use for everyday living. In relation to the big picture mining uses hardly any electricity. I wonder how much a bank uses?
You say dams and windmills also pollute the environment? How?
People dont understand. BItcoin is until now not little part of banks. I dont like them but Bitcoin until now dont give credit, dont sell company shares, even not work as payment system. Its only a investment

Pollution of those things is easy: Come to germany and see that windmills are even build in forest, where 100.000 square meters each windmill trees are taken down.
And that damns change the whole landscape is also known

Stop lying please. I is bitcoin weekly. You going to sit and type to me that what im looking at right now doesn't exist? So my new hard drive my new steam games and my new sound system equipment just popped out and landed in on my living room?

Sorry but I refuse to believe a country as advanced as Germany don't take bitcoins. Also you can replace the trees. Which tree you take down you plant two more. Here they use coal power and makes the sky turn black so please don't tell me a windmill pollutes.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Identity of Satoshi Nakamoto on: June 11, 2019, 03:54:51 AM
No matter who it is, he brings us bitcoin and blockchain technology. For humans, it is a very good technology. Thank you!! Grin
that's true, what I believe satoshi is not someone's name but the name of the group of scientists. this is a big question and they keep hiding. I hope that someday I will present a comment so that this polemic will end. at least we will get to know new heroes in the modern era. Grin

We going to simply keep guessing and speculating since it is something we probably will never get the answer to. Like the meaning of life or what happens when we die. We just won't know.
Even if someone "finds" Satoshi then how will they prove it? Satoshi is probably a project name. I don't know why people talk about Satoshi as if it was the person's name.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: big banks going against crypto on: June 11, 2019, 03:42:20 AM
I like what @dothebeats did, investing more in crypto will seems to profitable at this time than of real assets. It is just to open up our mind and be very resourceful of anything we can do to generate money as a source.

in my opinion, to use all assets for crypto, of course, it is very risky, as well as only a few assets that are used as crypto assets, in my opinion, it is clear that bitcoin is the main choice for crypto assets or altcoins, I suggest binance coins.
Yeah, investing in crypto is risk and we know it since before but somehow we need to be along the risk cause that's the only we can make this things right. Choosing the right coin will be a best solution for not losing our funds and I'm preferred to put my money into top 10 altcoins rather than of seeking into cheap coins.

To me it is not so much of a risk but more of a matter of getting on board. I believe very strongly and just know that the bitcoin I hold today will be worth much much more in years from now. I want a good life for myself in the future and that is why I keep most of my crypto currency in bitcoin.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money for Nothing and your Bitcoin for Free on: June 11, 2019, 03:39:25 AM
People are only talking like this because things went well. If things went badly then what? How often can a whale do this? It must have been calculated. Whoever the owner of that wallet is they sure are lucky.

It seems to me that there is no need to blame ordinary users of cryptocurrency, which keep small amounts of Bitcoin.  The fact is that in the cryptocurrency market, large whales have always been manipulated.  Trace the connection between large orders on trading exchanges with Bitcoin pricing.

I think most of us would do the same thing in their position.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto news website CCN going to be shutdown due to google on: June 11, 2019, 01:35:10 AM
What in the @#$% did I just read? I use to like google a few years back but not anymore.

I don't understand exactly what's going and noone else does either. There is a very strange core update. Even none crypto sites were affected.
Now CNN has had its Google ADs deactivated basically. CNN moved to HVY.com  (The link is near the bottom of the article will give you more info)

According to the to graph the poster a few post below me posted, it looks like this is similar to last year.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: Which form of investment has highest ROI? on: June 10, 2019, 12:34:12 AM
Selling alcohol has a massive turn over. The ROI is amazing and its crazy people pay what they do. One bottle of whiskey/whaever can make a few dozen shooters and it will only cost you the price of like 10 shooters. The ROI is over 4x with ease. Even selling beer. There is no skill needed at all. You don't even have to open it, you just bring it to someone or grab it from the bar. Beer is like 2x ROI just like that.
The thing is you need to attract people to your bar and that is where promoting comes in. Promotions and advertisers will always be needed.
98  Economy / Economics / Re: is it possible that the bitcoin was created by governments? on: June 10, 2019, 12:17:29 AM
No ways. The fundamentals of bitcoin go against governance. It is the reason bitcoin was created. To take away the need for governance to be involved since the blockchain governs its self through its sh256 algorithm.
With bitcoin, we all have our place play towards the sustainability of the blockchain. Even just using your wallet secures the network. Then there still nodes and things.
99  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you need cash for everyday use? on: June 10, 2019, 12:11:08 AM
For me it is bitcoin. Online shopping all with bitcoin. If they do not accept bitcoin then they don't get my business xP
I hope people try to use crypto. Use bitcoin to pay where you can. Don't use fiat if bitcoin is an option. Keep bitcoin strong.

I still need cash when buy food and some thing that i can't buy even with card, but i think over 5 or more years i will not need to use the cash so much as now, but this only if governments and companies will make some changes.

Maybe we can have decentralized grocery stores  Cheesy
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for scammers, yea right! on: June 09, 2019, 11:56:59 PM
We regularly read FUD articles in the popular media about Bitcoin being used in scams and that it is a perfect tool for scammers to hide their activities and the movie industry already labelled Bitcoin as the Internet of Money for the DarkNet.  Roll Eyes

I am currently watching a series called, "Undercover: Nailing the Fraudsters" and most of the scams featured there are done within a regulated environment. Boiler room scammers are not requesting payment in Crypto currencies to hide their activities, they get the victims to deposit money via their Bank accounts into their Bank accounts. <obviously created with fake ID documents>  Roll Eyes

In business, the term boiler room refers to an outbound call center selling questionable investments by telephone. It usually refers to a room where salesmen work using unfair, dishonest sales tactics, sometimes selling penny stocks, private placements or committing outright stock fraud. - Source : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boiler_room_(business)

So, next time when someone tells you that Crypto currencies are used for scams, please highlight the fact that most scams are still being done under the nose of the regulated financial industry.  Wink

Information stated above is really helpful. Lot of people still thinks that the Cryptocurrency Industry is full of scams and frauds but they are only scared because they have no knowledge of it. They need to have an open mind and learn about it. It is true that there may be some risk but learning about it will bring lots of profit. Being careless in the Cryptocurrency Industry is one of the worst thing that can occur to an investor. When i first learned about the forum, the first thing that i have read was on the Beginners section which is a great help and reading it is not a waste of time.

You know you don;t have to be scammed out of currency. You could have your time scammed away from you. You could also lose things of value. People can sell your contierfiet thing or trick you and leave you with nothing sitting scratching your head wondering what happened. Some peopel appear to need help but they just want money. Even in the streets you get beggers who ask for money and sometimes they drink it away but they will lie adn say they do not. That happens every day. If someone has something a greedy person will want it. Some greedy people don't want to earn it they want to take it. Bitcoin is just another place they can scam. Bitcoin is new so it is open to scams. You see the scammers will hope onto whatever is hot right now.
