ok thx for explanation all clear now Wink
82  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BOUNTY 5BTC] cgminer: add getwork proxy functionality on: September 03, 2013, 11:15:28 PM
ye from what i can see on bitminter site in "latest shifts" speed is the same like with stratum proxy
only one whats bothering me is blade stats page
with stratum total speed = 13xxx and 99 efficiency but with bfgminer its 12600-12800 with 96 efficiency ;p
83  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BOUNTY 5BTC] cgminer: add getwork proxy functionality on: September 03, 2013, 07:49:17 PM
with --queue 10 had many rejected shares too (3%)
i think its ok now with --no-submit-stale option.
it still shows at bfgminer stats A:1733 R:0+87(2.2%) but at least im not sending that shares to the mine
whats strange with that option stats on blade config panel showing normal stats like total mhz 13k and efficency 99

edit: after like 2h its again same as before 12700-12800 ;p so no diference too

dont know why so many stales on bfgminer but not with stratum proxy
84  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BOUNTY 5BTC] cgminer: add getwork proxy functionality on: September 03, 2013, 03:04:52 PM
it works almost perfect Wink
but i have much more rejected shares than on stratum proxy and blades stats page shows speed like 12600-12700 when on stratum proxy it was 13xxx
and efficiency is 96.5 now, on stratum proxy it was like 99 Wink
i think maybe its bcouse 2 blades im getting much rejected shares (stale)
im trying same user on both blades

edit: yes with same user on both blades it works ok no more rejected shares

edit2: yes confirmed

again 2 diferent users = again some rejected (stale) shares

for now it works perfect only if u set same user/pw on all blades (no stale rejected shares)

i had crash too after like 3hours

dmesg says

stratum0[10991]: segfault at d59321dc ip 08065935 sp b5932190 error 7 in bfgminer[8048000+5a000]

running on debian 7 terminal hp t5710 1.2Ghz 512MB ram

im running two instances one with blades with diferent -u -p and one with usb erupters
that one with blades still working fine with noproblem
only bfgminer with usb erupters crashed

can i ask if one of those issues with blades are low speed ? im getting like 2.8gh/s from one blade. On stratum proxy at same PC it works ok (max speed)

they finished at the end of next day (working hours)

98  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DS-IP-SC-49 Draft Review: on: July 23, 2013, 01:27:54 PM
I figured it in amps, but similar result - 49 Erupters * 0.5A = 24.5amps, not including however much the Hub Controller(s) are drawing.  Most ATX power supplies are +5V@30A or _less_.  My 450W(+5v@30A) has been shutting down intermittently while fully populated.  When I backed it down to 44 Erupters, the problems went completely away.
<snip>
Agreed on the novice statement.  I've now got this running on a headless xubuntu nettop running latest cgminer/anubis/mineninja.  Absolutely perfect w/ 44 erupters for the past 30 hours.  I will not be plugging it back into a Windows box anytime soon.
20 hrs running OK with the replacement PSU... the ATX cable is warm, so the draw is high... lets see how long this gold rated Corsair 750 holds up for Smiley

I may have to go to platinum next... might do it anyway... don't like it when wires are warm...

platinum wont change anything. new psus just sux at 5V bcoz its not used anymore to anything except usb Wink
try to find something old like Fortron FSP400-60PFN with 40A on 5V
or something new like Silverstone Strider 1500W or Thermaltake Toughpower 1500W
holy moley... the AX750 i got is  rated for +5V@25A (125W) on ATX... how the hell is it working then with 2.5W*49  122.5W ? Huh???

? 125>122.5 so why it should not work ;p
i ment only that its hard to get something strong on 5V line today and i told you models with 40A on 5V
