i replaced the psu to another one used on B600 and they both work correctly now! i hope this issue wouldn't return
Cool. Query: what PSU's are you using? I've pretty much have mostly used Bitmains 1,600W ones and some are getting very long in the tooth... At least one that was powering a s9 b3 had to be swapped out with a bit newer one (previously used on a s7). Miner seems more stable now although even at worst dropouts were maybe 1 every5-6 days. PSU: EVGA 1600G2 i think i found the problem i have unstable internet connection i am losing it about 5-10 times a day for 1 minute or 2 all my miners haven't problem with that except B17 some times it can handle this disconnect but some other times it losing hash rate and not return to full hash rate until i restart it so it's the new firmware issue i guess i will ask the support to give me an old firmware until they fix this issue

i went to boot loop now every 20 minutes and before the machine start it restart by self
As others said - contact Bitmain to start the RMA process. For now -- and document all of this with screen shots --, At the bad hashboard, swap the data cable with a hashboard next to it. Restart the miner and take screen shot. Did the problem chain move? If it did the hashboard is bad. If it did NOT then either the cable or controller is bad. Odds are it's the board. Once the problem is identified I disconnect that 1 board/cable so the remaining 2 can work properly. DO NOT BREAK THE WARRANTY SEAL UNTIL BITMAIN SAYS YOU CAN!**TIP** unplugging the data cable can be -- difficult. You need to squeeze the long tab very firmly to disengage the hooks, then rock the connector back and forth as you pull. i replaced the psu to another one used on B600 and they both work correctly now! i hope this issue wouldn't return

i asked them to give me an old firmware to test and there support need more than 24 hours to answer every time!

now after 5 hours i lost all hash rate ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FI7brepE.png&t=663&c=bozAyXNyX2sHqQ) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FAWieZvd.png&t=663&c=MT6Q-w6mW9kiKw)

i lost internet for 3 minutes and after return all miners return to hash with the same hash rate except B17 return to hash with 9.8TH/s ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F38epU2j.png&t=663&c=-AiGOoa4kDo_sg) after restart it returned to hash with full hash rate

Are the ambient temps ok? My S7LN would drop a board if it goes below 18c ambient. i have 3 other machines and all working fine did you get fault red light when this happen ? because i didn't

it's dropped again after 13 hours ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FMiTANuB.png&t=663&c=AiIxudOvE2_ZYg) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FcK3ZS8A.png&t=663&c=sGNO7Sxb-TpS1w) And the gui for the miner looks like all 3 boards are still hashing? Based on the actual hashrate it looks like one of the boards stops working. If the miner gui says everything is working normally and shows a hashrate for all 3 boards then I would be inclined to suspect it was a controller problem and not a hashboard problem. the miner display GH/S(RT) like GH/S(ideal) or close but GH/S(avg) start to drop hour after hour normal grean light is working on the front of the miner like everything is ok but i still have 3TH/s dropped from my all hash rates i think its controller too but bitmain have a bad support and they still tell me let it go, its working fine

Mamiakimo, just let it run for a day and see what it's like then. All this starting and restarting will just cause you problems and cost you money.
it's working now for 13 hours without issue

i create reboot using power supply button off/on ( EVGA 1600G2 ) and it returned to 13TH/s what i learned from this issue is GH/S(RT) in batch17 does't display the real time value but static value or something do you think i have a problem on my PSU ? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FIzKnehb.png&t=663&c=CzniN9YkI_3oeg) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FgQbxmL4.png&t=663&c=QOJi63l6Gu-dxg) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FHquCJjm.png&t=663&c=9lLxspuMTwNVUg)

before this issue happen i have kano hashrate 36-37TH/s for 3 miners after 4 hours online on this new B17 this issue happen i have about 33-34TH/s i lost about 3TH/s from this miner and i don't know why GH/S(RT) still display wrong static value when awesome miner read the correct value my B17 have the lowest HT on my farm ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Fg11M3SF.png&t=663&c=YRU4CdT3V-ByJg) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Fl9541YU.png&t=663&c=qMwwfdlkF8ImHA)

@mamiakimo why did you restart when it is/was working fine? your previous pic had 11.63 th average miners need some "room" to function and they are capable of adjusting themselves. to me frequent restarting indicates more chances for trouble
like what i said awesome miner read the hashrate equal 9 and Kano pool too read it less than 10 TH/s i have another 3 S9 600&550 and kano read there hashrate more than this machine i think GH/S(RT) display wrong value
|
|
|
after restart it seem like GH/S(avg) display the real hashrate and GH/S(RT) just display static wrong hashrate ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FFOiKEEB.png&t=663&c=z5zWUfCRP8Nefw)

awesome Miner read the new S9 Batch 17 hashrate 9TH/s and my pool read it like that ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FDx5CEq5.png&t=663&c=XCiGGmrs6ew1NA) but the miner page display full rate ! ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FSti9amu.png&t=663&c=hHEt4IGxxjEKJQ) what's the wrong here ?
