81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is best wallet for long term bitcoin holding? on: August 21, 2018, 10:25:45 AM
What is best wallet for long term bitcoin holding? I want to choose one wallet for bitcoin holding. Which one is best and have no bugs and problems? Which one is worse? Which one is easy to instal and easy to use. Which one you just prefer for long term holding.
You can use certain wallets which are better for storing them in hardware Wallets and offline is the best so it's safer.
Usually I only use a wallet provided by a local service provider here in my country, I think it's safe enough, and I will only hold it on my account.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL is the only policy. on: August 21, 2018, 10:15:46 AM
It is true that HODL is the best way to secure assets that we have but we also have to be wiser. Not every time the HODL will work, we must know and accept losses sometimes because it is better to accept than to continue to lose and will wait almost more than 3 months to recover defeat. Remember there are other ways to recover your defeat, like investing in something and will generate profits in just one month or more.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Property? What might be the best investment? on: August 21, 2018, 10:08:19 AM
Bitcoin and property investments have their own advantages and disadvantages, I think investing in property will be safer with less risk than you invest in bitcoin, but some people are now turning to bitcoin, because they see investment in Bitcoin very profitable even several times , despite having a high risk.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Doing 2 or more ICO facebook campaign? on: August 19, 2018, 04:15:42 PM
I am more specific in joining bounty campaign and i am doing it with social media specifically the facebook campaign. I only join one ICO at a time so as not to compromise the crypto ad on my timeline or newsfeed. However, as i posted my report in the thread i am curios about how others doing as well in the facebook campaign. And as i open their facebook timeline i was surprised since it has two or more different crypto ads present there and the facebook is fake and it is being made only for that purpose for just joining bounty campaigns.  And i am trying also to browse the other member's facebook account and still it is the same. They are joining two or more ICO's in their facebook account. Is it okay to join two or more ICO facebook campaign in just one facebook account? Who among you here have tried this? Are you successful in receiving bounty rewards in facebook campaign?
There is no problem joining more than 2 ICOs. At this time I participated in more than 2 Facebook campaigns. So you can do as much as you can. I would suggest you participate in more gifts if you can do it so that you can produce more coins at the same time.
85  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN is useless!? on: August 19, 2018, 04:08:08 PM
Bitcoin hedead to zero?
The former ceo of paypal Bill harris said that, bitcoin's value will continue to dwindle until it gets "eventually a whole lot closer to zero."and saying that there's just no value in bitcoin and "Bitcoin makes no revenue, no profitability."
he also called the cryptocurrency is a
"colossal pump-and-dump scheme, the likes of which the world has never seen."
I think this is non-sense, what about you?

Source: cnbc

Yes it is very unreasonable, but it is her right to judge something. as long as there is a krypto market and many people want to buy and own Bitcoin, the price of Bitcoin will not go to zero, because if you expect Bitcoin to zero, that means you have to make everyone think Bitcoin is rubbish, and I think it will never happen.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 60 bounty in 2 hours/day? on: August 19, 2018, 04:00:39 PM
I prefer one to participate in the Signature, I do not participate in social gifts because it will only waste my time. And for people who are involved in advertising on various social networks, maybe they just want an easy task to get the money, even though they know the rewards are small.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH is the next generation of BTC? on: August 19, 2018, 03:34:55 PM
Right now, price of ETH is low, is there again rise in the ETH ?  I can see eth going above bitcoin because of combination between drop in the price of bitcoin and increase in the price of eth.
Both have different goals, I'm not sure about being the next bitcoin generation. because Ethereum has future technology while at the same time bitcoin is still trapped in its scalability problem. But bitcoin is designed to be a global digital payment system that has been adopted by several countries.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing can stop Bitcoin! Big News! on: August 19, 2018, 03:24:03 PM
I hope this news will be a reinforcement of faith for Bitcoin holders to avoid panic sales. We have heard some good news in the past but they have not really affected Bitcoin prices. I think bitcoin-etf news can change everything.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth is done on: August 14, 2018, 01:16:50 PM
buy something else  Grin
Eth bloat, clog, unscalable at this point
Maybe this is the best time for me to buy more Ethereum because the price is so cheap, no one knows what the cheapest price will be, but if this bounces back to the top it means I will miss a big profit if I don't buy it now. because I still believe Ethereum isn't over yet.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They want you to panic :-> on: August 14, 2018, 01:12:20 PM
When the price of a commodity drop with no reason, you should know that it is being manipulated. The reasons for this is quite simple, because a lot of people know this is a fake crash and they are going to make millions, when other people start to panic and start selling their coins at these low prices.

The secret to maximize your profits in this game is to buy coins at the lowest price possible and then again to sell at the highest price possible.

What do you do if people are hoarding their coins and refuse to sell? You simulate a fake crash by stockpiling your coins over a long period and then dumping those coins at once to trigger a small crash. You then buy back these coins at a lower price than what you bought them and wait for the market to recover.

This is what is happening now, because there is NO reason for this sudden drop in the price? Hold onto those coins as long as you can, because these greedy bastards will manipulate the markets to cause chaos and panic.
Yes, I read about this a few years ago, I don't like it, because it's a cheating technique for making profits. there are so many old holders who are provoked by this chaos, and the person who created this chaos bought a coin that was sold at a low price by panic people then sold it at normal prices.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do when your coin spikes? on: August 14, 2018, 12:56:40 PM
There is no great strategy that I am doing. I am just a beginner. I will sell coins that I hold if it has gone up 30%, and if the coins that I have sold the price back down I will buy it again, and make it a long-term investment.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH, road down to $50? on: August 14, 2018, 12:33:39 PM
It's very sad to see this market now. I haven't lost money, because I haven't sold my Ethereum yet. Yes, I may now have seen a decline from Ethereum and other coins. In addition, ETH is one of the best coins but has a very low percentage of around -15.89%. This is very surprising. And if the price drops to $ 50, I'm sure it collapsed. But, no one expects this situation.
93  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you still holding when market price falls abnormally? on: August 13, 2018, 03:58:21 AM
I like to know your stand against the current market price falls down that relatively almost in the danger zone for the crypto holders if they still hold their crypto it might be one day that they will going to lose all their money. My ideals is different i had to sell it though it means that i had to lose some of my money. Anyway i could invest again when market price recovers but not for now seeing crypto market looks so bad. Will you still hold?
Each individual has their own strategies in dealing with situations like this. the strategy that I choose is to keep holding my Bitcoin, advice from me be patient don't panic, strengthen your faith in holding Bitcoin until the price stabilizes and when you are satisfied with the price. We have to wait patiently and we don't need to panic because we all know that Bitcoin has passed a phase like this.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Teens in the crypto world on: August 12, 2018, 06:45:04 PM
We often are asking question whether we should educate youth and teach them crypto, but for my opinion if they are interested in they are able to educate themselves, even better then we are able to do.

Hear is an article that proves the theory: https://cointelegraph.com/news/teenager-who-hacked-ledger-hardware-wallet-says-devices-still-vulnerable-devs-deny

What do you think?
Awareness and interest in crypto is the most important thing in cryptocurancy, I don't think we should educate cryptocurrency on them because at the time and internet technology and blockchain, they can understand the cryptos currency and will add cryptos currency. But we are a cryptocurrency community, they can learn more about cryptocurrency in this forum or other websites about cryptocurrency.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Ways to Avoid Bitcoin Scams on: August 11, 2018, 05:52:49 PM
As interest in digital currencies increases such as Bitcoin, more and more Bitcoin scams promise high returns. Unrealistic lure is clearly a mere cover, and usually ends with the loss of clients' funds. Fraud often spreads in social circles based on trusted relationships. Therefore, we must be aware that there are cunning fraudsters who can actively seek ways to deceive with absurd tricks and offers.

How to avoid bitcoin scams :

1. Know What You Are Facing

You don't need to rush to decide whether an investment product is a scam or not. All you need to do is, take a moment to find complete information about the project. The easiest way to do this is to find information in the form of company details or Whitepaper (if ICO), and other things related to the investment product. Learn all the details carefully and do some research on testimonials, comments, and so on. Another way is to join a Bitcoin forum like Bitcointalk, and immediately ask for credibility of an investment product or company to other members.

2. Avoid Unrealistic Offerings

Usually, crypto currency fraud can disguise its identity by using a social media account or advertising banner that looks professional. Mark Steward, director of FCA law enforcement, explained that when people become more skeptical of the real world regarding investment and consumer habits have changed, investment fraud has moved into the realm of Online and social media.

How to avoid this Bitcoin Scam is, you are better selective about all investment offerings from the Online platform that you did not ask for, whether through social media, email, or even by telephone. Even if it looks official, pay attention to how it is offered. Con artists usually dare to promise high profits to lure victims. So if you feel the promise of profits is unrealistic, immediately ignore the proposed offer.

3. Beware of Phising Web Pages

Increased interest in crypto currencies makes many new investors enter the market. Lots of land in a fake landing page that claims to be a popular digital currency exchange platform. One example is the one that uses the Punycode technique. Through this method, the fake domain 'xn - inance-hrb [dot] com' can be displayed as 'ƅinance [dot] com'. This technique is usually able to deceive consumers, because web pages can look really like the original. You can overcome this by being aware of vulnerabilities that exist in internet browsers, such as Chrome, Firefox, and Opera,

4. Beware of Fake Digital Wallets

Fake virtual wallets often appear online or at the mobile app store. In the example of a fake Wallet fraud that happened, more than $ 3.3 million was stolen from users who want to claim their Bitcoin Gold. To anticipate similar events, many Bitcoin Wallet providers caution clients to be aware of the cloning of scammers who want to steal victim funds by imitating their appearance.

MyEtherWallet for example, warns customers about fake MyEtherWallet in December. In addition, before choosing a digital wallet provider, do research first. Please share opinions on leading crypto forums, both local and foreign. In essence, only use the Wallet provider with a good track record.

5. Beware of Bitcoin Thief Malware

Malware is something that concerns computer owners. But now, a new category of malware capable of stealing Bitcoin-related data has appeared. Malware authorized by the computer owner is able to record typing or search for a file with the keyword "Account", "Password", "Bitcoin", "Wallet", or other keywords specified by the author, then upload the file to an anonymous server automatically.

In addition, there is also a malware that seeks to absorb the computing power of computer users to mine crypto. Anticipating this, YouTube is trying to deactivate ads that take computing power to mine crypto currencies. It is believed, after users see the related ad videos, the computer becomes slow and there will be warnings from anti-virus programs. Malware like this can steal up to 100% of computing power to mine crypto currencies (generally Monero). The solution that can be applied here is to install strong anti-virus protection and active Firewall to protect the computer.
I am very happy if anyone wants to share knowledge like this, and honestly it is more useful than complaining about the fall of the market, I was cheated before and that is a bad situation that I have experienced. That is why this information is very helpful especially for beginners.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What problems can Bitcoin & Blockchain solve ?? on: August 11, 2018, 05:39:38 PM
What problems in the world can Bitcoin and blockchain technology solve ?
There are many problems that are solved by bitcoin such as cheaper transactions because they do not go through bank intermediaries, and in the economy there are many unemployed people, with bitcoin they do not work alone without bosses without qouta by trading, they also carry out bounty campaigns. so bitcoin has many problems that are solved.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange it or Hold it on: August 11, 2018, 05:30:57 PM
Sell it if you have registered on the exchange site. I advise you to sell everything as quickly as possible and then you can try to put your amount into promising coins. There are thousands of airdrops and more than 98% are scam coins. I advise you not to hold the token.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Shall I buy BTC? on: August 11, 2018, 04:03:27 PM
Is buying BTC currently a good idea, or should I be going with ethereum?
Pls suggest...
You have to make your own analysis and then make a decision but now I will say buying bitcoin is better, I expect prices to push towards 20k and maybe higher at the end of the year as many others do. Ethereum might return to 500 maybe 600 but its growth is always slowing down when bitcoin grows.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never invest no product ICOs on: August 11, 2018, 03:39:00 PM
I agree with you, a good analysis because ICO tokens are based on the real value of a project, when a product or work prototype gives more confidence in the successful completion of the project. After all, before the ICO makes a prototype, the company works and finds investment, it means that it really works, has experience, knows the project's weak points and will overcome them.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My sweet and bitter experience about bitcoin on: August 10, 2018, 05:17:16 PM
I started my cryptocurrency journey around July 2017. I bought some altcoins;  verge; dodge, Xrp Siacoin on Bittrex and left some on bitcoin. It was a roller coaster for me around November to December 2017, particularly with verge, my crypo investment of just about $120 grew to a little bit over $3,000. I never new on time until I opened my bittrex. It was wao!

I took out some money since I was in need about $1000. With the euphoria of bitcoin suppasing $20,000, so I watched until my investment shrinked from about $2000 to $1500, then $1000, I decided to take out some little more until I had about $800 left.

That amount have shrinked further to about $450. The worst came when I took a third of the amount to buy Mithril coin when the news came that it won a vote to be listed on binance,  and suddenly it was disqualified,  and the price have falling like packs of cards, more than 50% right now.

Its a question of if I had known, I would have withdrawn the $3000 the moment I saw it on my bittrex account. Who can tell the future?

But I am wiser now.

Does anyone have similar experience
Very good story, hopefully it can be a lesson for us to always be careful in making investment steps, I consider life in cryptocurancy to be like a wheel, sometimes we are lucky, sometimes we also lose, but all that I enjoy as a experience life that will bring I am to a stronger personality so that I can be wiser in making choices.
