81  Other / Off-topic / Re: USA, UK folks.earn up to 1000$ per month at Adsitalsolution on: December 01, 2018, 11:29:50 PM
Is this a crypto related project? Surveys and tasks legible for rewards are within the blockchain/cryptocurrencies ecosystem? As i don't think so, you are posting your offer in the wrong forum.
BTW, 1000$ per month is a complete bullshit if i have to fill about 300 surveys for 3.3$/one survey. Don't sell illusions !!
82  Other / Meta / Re: My legendary account got hacked and I have already mailed about it 3 times on: November 30, 2018, 05:00:00 PM
It seems that account recovery takes a very long time in general though, save for a few exceptions.
Theymos once affirmed that account recovery is in his future plan after suggestion from @hilariousetc. See this post

Then confirmed that the recovery process will be smoothly running before the end of the year at the latest:
maybe theymos and cyrus should just take a day or two out of every month to investigate and restore them.

It would take at least a couple hours every day to deal with them. Each case typically requires a lot of follow-up. And it's really annoying work. I used to do them sort-of regularly, but at some point I just couldn't stand it anymore, in addition to not really having time. Cyrus is still doing some, though not enough to keep up.

There's no need for any fee, and a fee probably wouldn't be appropriate unless absolutely necessary. Money is not a problem. If I could throw $100k at the problem and make it go away, I would do so. But in the real world, there is no magic wishing well where you can throw money and make things happen. You give people money and they don't do what you want, or the people you hire turn out not to be trustworthy, or you fill out the tax forms wrong and then later have to spend more time&money dealing with that than you would've by just doing the thing with current sub-optimal resources, etc.

I acknowledge that the current situation is very bad, and we have some plans for fixing it. I hope to have manual account reviews going smoothly again before the end of the year at the latest.

84  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tutorial on How to Sign a message on your MetaMask with MEW. on: November 28, 2018, 11:50:18 PM
Do the admins accept signed ETH messages as proof of ownership of BT accounts? I think they only accept signed BTC messages, anyone knows?
No, admins only accept signed messages from staked btc address as mentioned in this thread. Theymos and Cyrus are the only charged to do so. For some other moderators, signed messages from altcoin addresses can be used as proof of ownership if you get in unexpeted trouble that needs to freeze the account, so you can un-lock it.

86  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Account Hack] icanscript - Please tag on: November 28, 2018, 11:01:20 PM
Numerous emails but no reply as to having my account back even though I can prove I own it, Shame really.

Thanks for the tag.
Your thread should be locked after receiving answers and the account got tagged. You are wasting your time post reminders about your case here.
Start a new thread in the Meta board, it's the usual board where to get attention about your lost account. Fill it with verified staked address and keep it updating [you can use one update post per day and keep deleting old ones].
Take a look at those exemples:

87  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Liberland and cryptocurrencies on: November 26, 2018, 11:36:34 AM
I was really enthouiastic by the new country until reading your comment as i think am missing a lot of information about Liberland.
I think you are right at all level so no need to discuss the situation of the crypto adoption by the them. I would like to discuss more details with you but after the sheduled meetup take place. So i will see what they are willing to do and how they aim to solve those complications.
88  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: send flowers to your loved ones on: November 24, 2018, 02:52:57 PM
Yes this is an awsome website offering very sweet gifts for different occasions but the site doesn't accept btc or any other cryptocurrency as an authorized paiement method; i got confirmation from the support live chat.
This is a forum of btc and cryptocurrencies and everything related to blockchain, you are making the promotion in the wrong place. At most case, you can publish it in Off topics board.
89  Bitcoin / Meetups / Liberland and cryptocurrencies on: November 24, 2018, 02:34:29 PM
I don't know how many users heard about Liberland.
Liberland is a new sovereign state located between Croatia and Serbia on the west bank of the Danube River. It was proclaimed as Free Republic of Liberland on April 13, 2015. See further information following this link.
Long time ago i applied for citizenship but still get no answer.
Today i receive an interresting email from them, here it is:

I decided to post this here firs as it's a "meetup board" content, same topic is published in bitcoin discussion board to inform community and hear from it about the progression in crypto-adoption.

91  Economy / Reputation / Re: 4 Accounts Connected Scamming Bounties With Proofs! on: November 23, 2018, 03:30:15 PM
Thank you cashi for your help but so far it seems no dt showing interest to this scammer.
I think every DT member would show interest to proved/probably scammers, especially with proofs.
Just a matter of time before a DT member observ your thread, they will need time checking the provided proofs before taking action against connected accounts. Try to keep the thread up until DT reaction.

93  Economy / Services / Re: serious escrow wanted on: November 21, 2018, 01:06:07 PM
User OgNasty is one of the best trusted escrow in the forum with more than 19k btc transfered. Check his trust rating for further information. I think that he also requires a respectful fee {1% Alts=2% (0.003BTC min)}
Check his official escrow service thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303281.0
94  Other / Meta / Re: Recover my old account on: November 21, 2018, 12:53:59 PM
Would you please provide a link to your lost account?
The only chance left to you is to prove the ownership of your account by signing a message from an old btc address that you had posted before or sent in a pm.
Follow the instructions as mentioned here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0
If you don't know how to sign a message related to a btc address then check this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345.0

96  Economy / Reputation / Re: A ccompletely abuse of merits, Legendary member on: November 20, 2018, 02:49:36 PM
I don't really think that the merited posts merite 50 points, this is a clear abuse.

Some thoughts:
Even confirming that the sender is an abuser, it will require more proofs to confirm the connection between the accounts; means no determined proofs of clear abuse against receivers (at most cases, posts can be reported if meaningless or shitposts).
The problems of merit system abuse can be reduced by adding a demerit option (already suggested by DT members) available for mods and DT members in abuse cases.

The topic has no Meta content, it's a matter of profile's reputation.. i think this is the appropriate board.

99  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Create Your Private Messenger in 10 minutes! on: November 18, 2018, 12:08:43 PM
Ok, then i will try it following the instructions you mentioned.
My thought is to add this as a suggestion for users in my website (under-developement) which dedicated to crypto niche.
Deploying contracts in EVM looks so easy to do and may helps everybody.
As it's free, am i able to ask you more questions here if i face some errors?
100  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Create Your Private Messenger in 10 minutes! on: November 17, 2018, 06:23:32 PM
It's very cool to make it simplified in this way. As a regular user of the internet (having few technical knowledge about security) i would like to ask about what effecient this could be. Why should i develop my own chat private messenger? Is this only available for ethereum users? means i can only share it with my crypto-community to discuss within?
Questions look dumb but i want some answers about this.. This may would be my first try in deploying contracts in ethereum virtual machine.
By the way, how much costs the contract deployement in the eth net??
