81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto ratings? on: August 24, 2020, 10:31:29 PM
Hello,

I see big differences between these two big rating agencies CCID (The China Center for Information Industry Development) and WeissRating. According to CCID is Bitcoin one of the worst cryptocurrencies. In WeissRating Bitcoin has achieved the best mark. Also, EOS in WeissRating has a pretty different rating. How can they get so different results?

it's just a rating. it's similar with the ICO rating. if the rating is high, it doesn't mean that is a coins. it's don't affect anything with their price. also this kind of rating can be used to make a false news. so, for me crypto rating is doesn't too important.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if you want to invest in crypto... on: August 24, 2020, 10:21:07 PM
to prove they're not scammer project and minimize your investment of being scam...

1. look for the team if they're legit and real human... prove to yourself if they're human and real, not fake linkin from russia, reddit or facebook stuff...
2. list your find...

agreed, i always find some project that used innocent people picture to create the team project. they usually use picture from russian linkedin. they changed the name and translated the description/bio from russian to english. luckily that some people in this forum are investigate that kind of project and warn some people about it.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No exchange? No Value! on: August 24, 2020, 10:15:38 PM
So I bought an altcoin called batcoin from a cryptocurrency exchange website. I even withdrew all my coins to an offline wallet, because I don't exactly trust exchange websites. However, the exchange it was listed is now gone, due to a hack.

So now I am stuck with coins that have no value.  Undecided

Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

What do you think I should do now?

i've seen the batcoin website, and the project seems already dead. of course the dead coin will have no value. i think it's impossible that the other exchangers will listed the dead coin. there's nothing you can do to return your money, all you can do is take some learning from this situation.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins for bounty hunters on: August 24, 2020, 10:05:46 PM
I know this have been discussed several times on this forum but yet I will like to drop this again, I'm sure few new developers are among us here, so here we go

It will be a whole new story if new projects can start paying bounty hunters in USD or stablecoin, this have few advantages over paying with your own tokens, if new projects find it as a most for people to try out their new Blockchain they should use airdrops instead, airdrops has the lowest rewards, hardly to get 2$ in airdrops today

As for bounties please start paying in USDT, DAI or USDC, this will erase your sense of 'bounty hunters are killing new projects' idea

afaik the good projects will pay bounty hunters with BTC/ETH or stable coin, of course with escrow. i ever joined some bounties that paid with BTC and USDT, the projects are still alive till now. i agreed with you, that bounties must paid with stable coin to keep appreciate the hunters works. at least they should be paid by coins that have listed on the market.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto success takes time on: August 23, 2020, 11:25:25 PM
People don't want to give projects some time to grow, they forget that coins like dash, litecoin, Xmr, Bitcoin etc have a rough start, I'm just saying crypto investment takes years, just because a project drop in value doesn't mean they won't grow better in future.

Projects don't just turn huge in a year, there will be lots of volatility and price loss, for long term hold be prepared, if you can't then go for top coins

agreed, nowaday when some people believe in some project and investing their money on them. they just asking for the market in a month after the token sell end. i don't know why they were thinking like that. if they really believe about the project, they should be patience. the good project will take time to be a successfull one. make them to become a long-term investment for you.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New exchange tokens worth investing on??? on: August 23, 2020, 11:17:10 PM
I will like to drop my likes for few altcoin projects for some minutes and talk about one particular use case in crypto space today that hardly goes wrong unless the team have bad intent from scratch, that's Exchange Platform, most new exchanges are 99% bad but I will like to give a try, I'm looking or seeking for a fresh new exchange token that I can invest little money on, I think it's worth the risk after seeing how successful some people turned after investing in the follow exchanges

1. Binance (BNB Token)
2. OKEX  (OKB token)
3. Huobi token

Once upon a time these exchange tokens are dirty cheap and look how amazing they are today, now if you don't mind please fill me with some information

for now, i just believe to invest in bitcoin only. these day, i don't know if the new exchangers will give you some profits from your investment in their tokens. i don't think their token will become a successful one like BNB, OKB and the others. because nowaday a lot of new exchangers are become scam in the end.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The new drama has started in Altcoin on: August 23, 2020, 11:06:35 PM
that's why i've stopped trade some altcoins and started to invest most of my money on bitcoin from the beginning of this year. i've got so many loss from putting my money in altcoins, even in ETH. if you are trader. all you can do for now is monitoring your alts frequently. because the altcoins price will change easily in no time.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why every IEO on P2PB2B exchange? on: August 22, 2020, 11:58:04 PM
Maybe they have low fees for listing some IEO, but. I ever bought some IEO token on p2pb2b. It's really disappointing. after IEO ended and open trade, the price is dumped hardly and no one wants to buy the token. That exchange Is absolutely eun some scam IEO. Beside the p2pb2b, coinsbit has the same thing. They also have the similar interface.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or there are others who have same thoughts? on: August 18, 2020, 11:56:20 PM
Is it just me or others think same way? I mean are listed bounties intentionally using bounty campaigns to create hype and before the bounty is over they dump part the tokens making it lose value and make bounty hunters share what's left??? I'm kinda confused with bounty projects that are trading

i exactly have  the same thought with you. that's why a lot of bounties reward will certainly distributed a few weeks after listing on the market. they let the investors to sell it first. also, i think the team sold some of their coins using another wallet to dump the price.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If someone mistakenly sent you 1 ETH, what would you do? on: August 16, 2020, 11:35:31 PM
if i have to imagine this, i will give the ETH back. it's not mine anyway. because i know the feels when some people lost their money. but i think it's impossible for people sending their ETH into wrong address. i mean it's about your assets, it's your money. of course they will double or triple check it before you send it.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop kill project? on: August 16, 2020, 11:27:08 PM
i don't think they kill the project. the bounties and airdrops help the project a lot. imagine that the project without the bounties, the world won't know about the project. if the token/coins prices dump, i think it's because the projects run by some amateurs team member. the projects will die if the team abandoned their project and do not create the product properly.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get moved by fake good news on: August 16, 2020, 11:06:06 PM
scammers have a lot of ideas to trick some people into their traps. this one is a simple way. but some people have fall into their traps even they just use this kind of trick. when you jumped into crypto world, you will find a lot of fake news. they told you that they can make you rich in a few days and it's a totally scam for sure.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Biggest Crypto Regret? on: August 16, 2020, 10:53:12 PM
my biggest regret in crypto is the fact that i didn't buy and store enough ETH early this year when it went as low as  below 150$.  And i even sold the little i had at about 200$ now i am regretting .

this is most of holders regret. no one knows the price will rise or down in the near future.
btw, my regret is when i invested my money in shitcoins and scam ICOs in the past. even they look like a good project. that's why i am investing my money on BTC and ETH only now. i don't believe any altcoins for now.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: August 16, 2020, 10:40:21 PM
we're going into digital era now. so everything goes digital now, even the valuable thing. so i think digital currency won't lose against the physic one.
so yes, crypto are more valuable than gold. both of them are good for your investment. but crypto price are fluctuative, so you must check it frequently.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: August 16, 2020, 12:04:35 AM
it maybe they are new to crypto or they're lazy to find some information about the website. nowadays, there still many people fall into ponzi scheme and scam HYIP that used bitcoin as payment. they want reach instantly in a day. man, they fall for some fake payment proof.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in your ability to earn more. on: August 15, 2020, 11:41:11 PM
every single thing you do need some efforts. even if it's just investment. when you're monitoring the price, you need to stand by all day and it needs some effort. i'm sure that investment need a lot of luck too. be careful not too confident with your ability, it can turn your profit into some loss.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Name really matter in crypto? on: August 15, 2020, 11:29:00 PM
i think it's very important for their identity. just like FIAT money, they use different name to make identity for each country. also every coins or tokens have their own technologies and some of them are unique. so we have to know the differrences by their name.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects and their unreal excuses on: August 15, 2020, 11:08:54 PM
some projects have become a scam projects and make covid19 as excuses. they abandoned their projects. also their token price in matket was dumped, once again they use covid19 as excuse. i agree with you, they can complete the project via online, they will create the digital products in the end anyway.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most searched cryptocurrencies on Google on: August 15, 2020, 10:45:09 PM
BTC is no.1 for sure, and now the Chainlink was included and become a top five. i'm pretty sure that people who want to start their investment in crypto, trading or mining some coins will about coins information. also, Newcomer will begin to search about bitcoin information first. one of the information they'll get is the Market capitalization.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: August 14, 2020, 11:54:18 PM
it's certainly because of greed and have no knowledge about the project. even if you're not greed you still get scammed if you don't know anything about the projects. as example, DeFi is in hype, a lot of projects are DeFi now. you don't know anything about DeFi, but you joined some DeFi project without knowing anything about that and its future. scammer will take advantages for that.
