Good to know it's not just a Cold War thing...
82  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Hotmine X6 miner/upgrade kit review on: January 03, 2017, 06:53:40 PM
Sent emails through the website portals + PM'd the forum rep... no response for over a month

Maybe it's because I'm American and speak English...

we don't like ourselves that much either you know...

84  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon A7 announced on: December 18, 2016, 08:26:23 AM
Silly question maybe but I have 3 A6's can I string them in with an A7?

Probably not backwards comparable but why couldn't it be?

Thanks everyone

THANKS sidehack!

Best power supply source for mining bar none

I had an HP psu fail ( ambient was like 95 my fault ) and sidehack got a new HP 1200 watt to California NEXT DAY !!!

80$ for 1200 watts and 10 pcie ! What other psu would anyone ever want to mine with!
(Maybe if you don't have 220v then it's only gonna give you 900)

130$ to get a psu delivered like 30 hours after ordering it via email!
Even gave me Personal advice about ambient temp and dust!

This guy is amazing

5 stars

Patiently waiting for new miners to run on CK's solo pool

Sorry this is off topic but if you want new miners faster buy all your PSU's from sidehack

86  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 1% fee solo mining USA/DE servers 218 blocks solved! on: December 01, 2016, 03:46:40 AM
Yea just went the other way with the Ma, I paid a friend to come do it but I believe it was 720Ma

Runs great I have another one too but it's not as fast, it does the other half of the house, when I solve this block I'll be buying Avalon 7's

I hope it's quieter than an S7 at full tilt ?

Thank you for your solo pool CK, also thank you for your work for the community. I hope your Avalon wins !

That's my little 300$ miner there cranking away

When will the new pool become the only pool?

Will it happen slow?

will my new stats always be at user2?

What is segwit?

I tried reading about it but there isn't much I can understand

Silly questions most likely but questions.

I have 20TH pointed at the solo pool I can't get to right now but ...
I sidehacked my S7-LN the opposite direction, it runs at a rip roaring 3.6+TH.
It's pointed at the new pool now

89  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience is now dabbling with 16nm ASICs for new designs on: November 13, 2016, 05:04:41 PM
Still Haters for life huh?

Not sure who punin is at bitfury but they seem to be the only non Chinese manufacturer/engineers out there

I'm not sure where the wafers come from.... probably still china but there company at least isn't based in mainland china.

You think China is cool, guess again they focebly displaced and demolished homes of over 80,000 people for the Olympic Games. Every single human rights lawyer who spoke up was made to disappear many never returned ...

Let's not talk smack about them...

The s1's are 15$, that's how much I sent sidehack for the donation if nothing comes of it I'll make a f***ing art piece or something.

Let's all try and be more mature than our American politicians (I don't discriminate both sides dropped the ball)
90  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience is now dabbling with 16nm ASICs for new designs on: November 12, 2016, 02:41:45 PM
Donation sent

Going to buy a few s1's off Craigslist this weekend
91  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Miner X5 on BitFury 16nm chips on: November 10, 2016, 04:24:35 PM
These are not for sale anywhere yet?

Maybe PayPal would protect us if they never shipped?

Newbie here who buys 28NM equipment off seattles CL and ships it to Detroit

Thanks all for continued support
92  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience is now dabbling with 16nm ASICs for new designs on: November 09, 2016, 06:33:50 AM
I don't care if your a little more money for a little less speed, just please compete

I missed my opportunity at history with the 3 BW sticks

First batch of pod miners will have to do ...

So disappointed this troll is taking up space on these boards

Probably "young"
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: November 06, 2016, 04:55:02 PM
Haters for life huh ?

Does no one know the history here?

Litecoin is fine so long as Charlie lee still works at coinbase

Cryptocurrencies are not stocks, litecoin is excatcly what the name says. it's supposed to be significantly less valuable than BTC to support the 2.5 minute block.

Problem is no one uses litecoin for transactions, YET

FYI I don't hold any litecoin or own any script miners just a bunch of 28NM Sha-256 on cheap power.

I was on here reading about zcoin/Z cash/BS and saw this entire thread of haters !

Go Troll about peercoins or any of the other BS copycat coins

Original algorithms should be celebrated

Thanks Charlie Lee

95  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Community brainpan - please discuss and debate desirable features for a miner on: November 02, 2016, 12:37:49 AM
I live in Washington currently but actually used to vend Truelabs to the Ann Arbor area

same technique as true co2 in California

as far as hosting I'll be back in January or February and would love to get together

++++.  Really tho my miners get unplugged because they're loud if they could be spun down easily by worker types that would be cool
96  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Community brainpan - please discuss and debate desirable features for a miner on: October 31, 2016, 05:44:40 PM
Hi all,

Call me crazy but I want a KNOB, is that too much to ask?
Control buck converter, core clock, and fan speeds on 6+ miners with a thermal override so as to avaoid hard shutdowns like the s7

Rackmountable, I want to start colocating these things so a clean rack apearance is a must (6U or W.E. works)

- string of miners off a PI would be a must
- wifi is cool
- 5 or 10 pcie sockets, 1200 watts maximum so we can use the little HP guys you sell, maybe 750 so that 2 could hook up to an ant miner psu.

My machines live in liscence grow ops in Detroit and The Bay

Detroit is 3 cents For primary hook ups and we have TONS of space

Trueco2oil.com that's me and we don't steal anything

97  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Antminer S7, S9 Rackmount Self [Group Buy Feeler] on: October 25, 2016, 05:33:42 PM
I'm a small guy but 2 maybe 3 depending on price,

Most all my miners are in The SF Bay Area and I'm concerned about shipping

I live In WA and colo hosting is dirt cheap here
98  Economy / Auctions / Re: GekkoScience miscellaneous auction for 16nm miner dev funding on: October 21, 2016, 05:58:52 PM
First of all thank you all for your support. We all rely on it.

I've never had a reason to post, before now.

I would like to take home a part of history, but perhaps one I can at least stick somewhere on solo.

Not to rock the boat but .15 BTC for a functioning BW miner
