81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in new projects? on: January 11, 2022, 08:19:19 PM
Investing in new projects is a hard thing to do these days as lots of these projects are not very serious with the interest of standing for the long run. I will say that new projects that will survive are most times not being known out of the list of projects out there. It is hard to identify which project will be honest, dedicated to serve the populace. Bitcoin and Etherium are two coins that has gained the market dominance and trust from different investors. To make a good and safe investment, investing in Bitcoin, Etherium or from the top 10 coins in the CMC will give a good hedge with little risk, cause risk is inevitable.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin ever get regulated on: January 11, 2022, 05:38:23 PM
No. Bitcoin cannot be regulated by some government bodies anytime soon, otherwise it's unique feature is taken away from it. Bitcoin as a digital currency, now being tagged to be an asset or store of value is already something the government are interested in so as they can have their lead on it and know everything going through it. For now, there are lots of countries working towards the regulation of Bitcoin, while some are taking the action of banning Bitcoin use, this will be, but the future will tell, if the regulation will suit the interest of the people and be accepted or be against the interest of the people and be reject. To an extent, this will be a big fight in the future, there will always be a winner, with some serious injuries.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin truly moving forward? on: January 11, 2022, 01:42:27 AM
Bitcoin as a digital currency or a digital asset is not controlled by anybody or some groups of people somewhere doing some manipulation, no, the price of Bitcoin is always on the ups and downs. That is why in making investment into Bitcoin and crypto currency at large you should be ready and willing to face the risk. Bitcoin so far from the recent highs of $15,000 has gotten to new highs of $40,000 and $60,000+. People who bought at $15,000 are currently see a whole lot of profit from the market if they held for the long run, and that is also why when the price goes down, you patiently wait for it to bounce up, because it always do. That has been the nature of Bitcoin right from time and it will always be like that buy at lows, sell at highs, hope you remember this rule.
Bitcoin is moving forward and aiming for greater heights for the crypto community and its investors.
84  Economy / Services / Re: Winz.io Casino $5,500 Paint Art Competition [100 Winners, Easy to Participate] on: January 11, 2022, 01:11:04 AM
I am not much of an artist, though painting is fun. This is my first painting contest I have ever participated and come across. It's interesting though.
I wanted to take a little bit of an aquatic animal, but it turned out to be a chip. To an extent chimps like to game and have time at the casino, and they are most times the bigger class of the animals that runs a casino in most cartoons I have watched. I hope it's worth the trial. It's just fun.

85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin investment on: January 10, 2022, 10:57:41 PM
As a low capital investor, venturing into new project is part of the risk, but is it worth it? The time for X profit is past and if there be such a profit/project now, it will come on the narrow win, cause there are lots of scam projects where a few survive the struggle of listing and staying long after the first wave of dump.
People with low capital investment, they normally invest into coins that has gained it's stability, popularity and price in the market, and these includes Bitcoin, etherium, BNB, SOL, etc. These are coins that has gained the support of high number of investors. These coins do drop in price, but recover very fast.
It is well said that you invest what you can afford to loose, and you make your own research before investment is done.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best ways to invest money? on: January 10, 2022, 10:42:44 PM
To my own knowledge and i will also be glad if i can get some opinions  to me before you ask what, ask why. Why are you investing?
Investing is like a project. All projects have a goal or finished item.
What is your goal? Be specific. Getting rich is not specific. One million saved or $1000.00 a month in dividends is specific.
Your goal should be your realistic. One million is realistic. One billion is not. One thousand in dividends is realistic, $10,000 per month, no.
Define your time horizon. Months, years? The time will help you to stay on target and provides measurable times.
Always take risk into account. What is your risk tolerance?

This is like asking an athlete running for the finals of an Olympic game, what he/she wishes the end of the race to become, and he/she saying it's just for fun, it doesn't matter.
The first aim of making investing is to make more profit that will be able to end the trouble of lack and insufficiency, out side that, it is to be financially free, to be able to do anything at anytime, not being bordered what the cost would be. There is no one that doesn't want to have the taste of the best things, but because there is no enough funds, the settlement for the most available material is used.
Any investment that has no risk is a fallacy, cause they say  no pain, no gain
87  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you guys think 0.1BTC is enough to "make it"? on: January 09, 2022, 01:56:28 AM
This question to an extent depends on the region or area of residence. BTC is targeting new highs and at times it takes long to show and no one knows when it will happen. Bitcoin demand is increasing as new investors and crypto enthusiasts are joining the crypto community on daily basis. 0.1btc is high and could worth the holding, but the whales still have a larger possession of Bitcoin. I just the feeling that one should hold as much Bitcoin as possible, it might become too expensive, that nobody would want to sell his/her own, at that time, who knows what the market would become.
No one can tell what the future has, it is an imagination brought about by the fast growing and crypto adopting community.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will owning 0.01 BTC really make you rich? on: January 09, 2022, 01:44:52 AM
if you look at the past 10 years if you buy bitcoin at 10 $ I think yes. I was rich if I sold bitcoin at 60k$ yesterday, but human nature never feels fast and the ambition to have bitcoin is very high, so no matter how many bitcoins you have, and no matter how much bitcoin you will never be satisfied. at a certain price,
and if we buy bitcoin today it might be said to be a fool to buy bitcoin at a price of 45k $ but let's see in the next 4 years bitcoin will definitely provide the same value if we buy bitcoin today as we bought bitcoin in 10 years ago

I agree with you, no matter how much a man or we humans have, it is never enough.
When BTC was at the price of $10, people who had it when it was at $5 were happy that they made profits, compared to when it became $60+, you'll see that there was a very big difference. Time is majorly everything, and if 0.01btc will get to the point of making one rich, then we will have to patiently wait for it, which could be 10 to 20 years away from now, and at that time, who knows how the cost of transaction fee will look like. Instead of waiting for that time, let's just watch the market and make the profits we can now, buy low sell high and keep moving, cause anything is possible sideways.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What projects can surprise us in 2022? on: January 06, 2022, 11:41:50 PM
Every new year has something in stock for the crypto market, it's supporters and investors. All these could be good or bad and as a trader, it is always about maximizing profit with the list or minimum risk. This year now made a start with the continuing drop in price of coins in the market from last year. It could continue for a while as we know that the crypto market is always on a rollercoaster ride, and we have almost mastered it's behavior.
There could be a project that is cooking somewhere, where it is trying to put things into position. Every year had at least one good project and so is this year.
Solana is a coin that has something interesting, and ETH which is becoming something else in its transaction fee, we are still hoping for it to do what it wants to, if that might be it's biggest move if it takes place this year.
Doge is also on the silent, but can make a very hard noise that will attract the entire crypto verse.
Canton, Atom (cosmos) amongst many.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much of new crypto projects? on: January 06, 2022, 11:20:09 PM
There is no need of being scared or something, it's only to make the right choice when placing investment. Personal findings and research will help to know which Project will standout amongst many. The essences of open source is for innovative minds to come into the system and do something, bring in new ideas, and a drive that will make a change or add to what's already on ground. As new projects are flooding the market, so are the ones that can't survive the market competition dying off. As at 2017, the crypto market and it's ecosystem has not been this heavily flooded with population and it's popularity was just like the sun rise, then imagine it when the sun sets. That's some bit we are experiencing now.

92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin mistake In 2020-2021 on: January 04, 2022, 07:21:09 AM
Though, it depends on how we look at our regrets. People do have regrets on buying high and selling low, and this is a negative regret (a regret no one wants to make). On the reverse, other people having a target price of an asset to takeout profits and after taking profit, the market is still on an uptrend continuously, hitting new highs. This is also a regret, because of the continuous uptrend, but a positive regret cause there is no losses experienced, just that more profits would have been made.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market is GREEN - Do you trust it on: October 05, 2018, 07:52:45 PM
The market is a dengerious zone for now, there is no prediction that will be looked serious, cause the move is not holding strong on positive moves, where negative move is always on the go....let's just expect something good, it might not come this year....

Hello Sir Manager, is it that you are missing something there at your OP, cause I can't see rules saying 'members with negative trust should not apply', rather if receive negative trust in your time of participation, will be kicked out and no payments, and this is for those who where already in, in the time of participation.

95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin worth risking your time and money? on: April 04, 2018, 03:11:59 PM
We all know that involving in bitcoin it takes your time and also money. Is it worthy to risk your time and money because of bitcoin?

Things concerning life is about risks and adventures, whatever a man does to survive is risky and be it of a successful end or a bad end, it is still seen as an adventure. Bitcoin is worth the risk of investing into it, the time that is spent with it has no effect on a normal day to day doings or activities.
A friend said to me, saying "we are all business men that want a high profit with the most minimum risk, and to archive that we all need to look at a particular goods, or something NEW".

This new policy I am also not sure whether it is temporary, or will be applied for the next. I agree, with the enactment of this new system to filter out frequent SPAM members in this Forum.

Thanks for the link Sir, it was very helpful.

It is nice to see some changes here, although I am yet t fully grasp the meaning of each new I item.I believe it will help to stem the tide of unwholesome practices such as those that involve selling merits.Greetings to whoever brought these fresh ideas

It is a good thing for the new rules/changes that has been added to the forum, which I think is to make the forum of more importance, but on the other hand, won't this also affect the ranking up of members of the forum?
How I am seeing the way things are going in this forum, a time comes when a newbie will have to wait for a month or so before receiving upgrade.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Seeing lots of new features in the forum. on: April 01, 2018, 07:24:16 AM

98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now or wait? on: March 26, 2018, 05:38:25 PM

I missed the dip the other day and am wondering if I should hold out for another dip or if the current prices are still decent. Mainly looking at litecoin and etherum. I also need coins regardless so I can exchange for other altcoins.

You can invest now, cause the current price of bitcoin has a big effect on the other altcoins in the market. Which means now is a very good time for new investors. If you are going into altcoins, it is better starting with some low priced altcoins, by buying them and keeping them for a long run if you are not in a hast of making quick profits. The longer you HOLD, the more profits you obtain.
99  Economy / Speculation / Re: A thought from an old timer... on: February 13, 2018, 08:04:56 PM
The most profitable bitcoins I ever mined, were the ones I mined when it was unprofitable to do so.
And at then when it was of less value, when no body looked or believed it will scale high was ever the best time of having (mining or buying) it, cause now is the time to enjoy the long run as a reward.
