81  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: February 13, 2017, 08:49:44 AM
Faucets are how I get to know with bitcoin. I still use them, but I dont expect any high income from them. I made more with trading, lending and even gambling. Yes, I know gambling is not really what you consider an income, but I'm still on a winning streak.
Good for you that you win continuously in gambling, can I have some luck? lol Cheesy Some users here are afraid doing gambling because they always lose in the end but it is already the risk, only two sides which are win or lose and they believe that it requires a pure luck.

Not continuously , but when I draw the line I'm in plus. When I hit profit I'm happy with, I withdraw it so I wouldnt gamble it away. Every gambler should find a game he's happy with, and have some skills in strategy for it. I choose blackjack, I tried many other game but with blackjack I had best luck. And I never gamble with money I cant afford to lose. If I put $10 in casino, in start I think of it like lost money.
82  Economy / Economics / Re: Physical or Paper Gold? Why? on: February 13, 2017, 08:42:58 AM
Some people says physical gold is more important, I should have physical instead of paper gold. But I dont understand why.

I trade easily in paper gold, spread is low so I lose less while trading. Banking system is powerful in my country, Turkey.

Physical gold can be stolen easily, I dont prefer having gold in my home, it is so dangerous imo, thieves are everywhere in my hood Smiley

What do you think?

edit: Guys I have read all your comments but still not satisfied. You all say that paper gold is not gold itself, just a promise; so having physical gold is more trusting even there is a possibility of theft.

Maybe I understand something different when saying paper gold.

Gold account at banks such as HSBC, BNP Paribas or ICBC is really less safer than keeping the gold at home?? And even if these accounts are guaranteed by the government up to $30k in each account?

Physical is better if you dont trust your banking system or gold dealer who gives you paper saying you own some gold stashed somewhere. When Greece was in trouble all banks were closed, so even if you had gold in their safe you couldnt easily get it. If you use it for short term trading then paper gold is better, cause its less likely you'll get robed, especially if you live in not so safe neighbourhood. Safest way to keep your physical gold is not talking about it. Only you should know how much you have, and where it is stashed.

84  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World War III ? on: February 11, 2017, 09:21:12 AM
world war III may come anytime soon so ket just all be prepared ! It will be terrifying if it will happen too soon se lets hope that it will not happen during our lifetime! and it will never happen again ! when it will happen ? nobody knows perhaps the leader of the powerful countries know the answer so it's better just to ask them
And what now is in Syria? Isn't this a world war? Did the second world war started? Now Russia supplies to Serbia fighters. I'm pretty sure that soon there will begin a conflict.

Yes, that in Syria could be considered world war, since many countries are involved, one way or another. Russia made good deal with Serbia, they sent them old worn out weapons and fighters, with obligation to buy Russian missiles and spare parts. I dont think there will be major conflict on Balkan, people are still sick and tired of war that happened in 90is. Atleast I hope so...
Do not forget that the old or the new weapon, it kills. I have AK47 1961 edition, and believe me it works flawlessly. Russia felt their impunity and provokes a crisis in the world. This is the beginning of the war.

Thats true, in Balkans there were many weapons remained from war, although we had some state action, if you return a weapon you get money. It was long time ago, so I dont remember all. But ofcourse many didnt give it back, they stashed it somewhere... And AK47 is one of the most reliable riffles, its not complicated, so with proper maintance it can last for years.

I hope the bitcoin will be more popular in  2017 in compare to previous  year .it will  become more powerful due to its aplication by almost people because now a days everyone  want to earn money on the basic of their knowledge.

It will be more popular, since more and more people learn about it, and I think not many give up so soon, since its really a great inovation. Media is also more open to it, even bad news attract people to learn more about it. And when you scratch the surface, you that those terrible news from China isnt bad as it seems.
87  Economy / Economics / Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this?? on: February 10, 2017, 11:46:06 AM
I would consider lending on some exchanges. Exchange some bitcoins in altcoin you feel good with, and also put them to lending. Some altcoins have much higher rate then bitcoin, up to 3 or 4 times bigger.
88  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: February 10, 2017, 11:41:01 AM
I'm currently earning 0.02 bitcoin per week. Thats when I count trading with altcoins, gambling, faucets and signature campaign. Most of it I earn gambling, we'll see how long will my luck last.
Don’t test your luck too much, if you have been lucky then be glad about it but do your best to move on if you are trying to obtain profits out of it since you run the risk of eventually losing your good fortune and your money, treat it as a way to have some fun.

Well I count good days and also bad days. I set my goal every day, and withdraw profit to exchange where I put those bitcoins in lending or trade for altcoins. Not every day is a good day, I lost also some amount, but when I draw line for this week I doubled my starting money. I play it for fun mostly, dont expect to earn any big money out of it. If I had bigger amount of bitcoins, I would consider putting them all in lending, as far as I learn past days it should be "safe" passive income.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Easiest way to convert money into BTC? on: February 10, 2017, 11:34:26 AM
i suggest you to try cryptopay. you can buy bitcoin from there. beware from scammers there's a lots of scam stores who can stole your money. there's another website name Localbitcoin its a great site to exchange money into bitcoins good luck

I'd rather go to a local ATM and buy some BTC instead, it's fast, easy and safe. You protect your identity too.. I luckily have one just one minute walk from my home which is great! The only thing I don't like is that they offer BTC for $30 over the price.

That is 3% if I'm not wrong, its not so big fee. In my city there are only 2 ATM's, fee is somewhere around 8%, which is much higher. But in my country bitcoin is not much appreciated yet, so in the future when there will be more competition, I expect to them to lower their fee's.
90  Other / Off-topic / Re: How i get 10000 $ in one year ? (seriously) on: February 09, 2017, 01:22:31 PM
i have target to get 10k $ , starting from 0

if  work hard  in my country i can only get 3000$ max , and i'm 'student'
so any suggestion to get that price , what was the best legal way

That sounds impossible. But since you're on bitcoin forum, I would suggest investing in bitcoin and altcoins, trading with them and investing again. Try to cut down all of your expenses, and start freelancing, if you got some IT or design skills you can make good profit with it. But it takes time until you build your reputation, you will start with small paying jobs in first.
91  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World War III ? on: February 09, 2017, 01:08:10 PM
World War I and II Had passed. All the countries tied in United Nation. However recently there seem grouping countries. They join in the military coalition. Islamic countries have allied. Some comunists countries also take position with the winning Russia in Syria helped by Iran.

US , China and other super power countries may prepare all the possibilities. Will World War III Problably happen? Where will it start from?

There will be no world war III. And nobody in their right mind would make the first move to start a war. All nations are wise since if they declare war against other countries the observers will just wait for the time that those countries at war will weaken and will launch an attack and become the number one country in the world. With that no country will want war and lost everything later.
What do you think is happening in Syria? There faced the interests of 5 States. Do you think Russian will give victory there? It will last for a long time. It seems to me that already there is world war, just not everyone noticed it.

I agree, we cant be sure that WWIII havent already started. Strategies, tactics, weapon, all change from war to war. I dont see big open conflict between USA, Russia or China, I think they are gonna use their smaller allies as dummy soldiers, and make war from shadow.

You cant compare old lady in a shed on HER property and war situations. Police acted wrong, and its not new for USA police. I think they have many problems with publicity, and this sort of news doesnt help. There were many other possible ways to sort this situation, and not panic and unleash the dogs.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: February 09, 2017, 12:47:33 PM
I believe  able to get through the hard times they are, I think it is fair if  reached a price of $ 100k, but if all nations begin to support the technology blockchain and also started using
i think people from all over the world are using it and i hope more people are comes towards it in 2017 ...... and i think its price gonna increase more in future so, i think this is the best time for investment..... it will gave a good profit in 2017 to the investors......

$100k sounds little too optimistic, in near future and far. I still havent set my target when I'm gonna sell, was thinking about $5k or $10k, which I dont think will come so soon (maybe even ever).
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: February 08, 2017, 10:53:35 AM
2017 will be a great year for bitcoin, with the price making a new fondation at $1000 mark, more people will begin using bitcoin in their transcation. However this increase in popularity will bring another trouble for example the fee. There's seems to be more increase unconfirmed transcations lately and the recommended fee becoming more ridiculous  Tongue
yeah I think this is the year of bitcoin. for the price of $ 1,000 occurred again in this year. I myself was very surprised when the price could touch and exceed $ 1,000. and you know the popularity of bitcoin rose rapidly because of these events
everyone talking about all positives things without consider there could be a disaster.
the bitcoin financial system is required internet access , and it could be shut down anytime who knows?
no internet no transaction can be made and it is the end of bitcoin , so don't forget to think about bad things that could possible happened.

This is quite a catastrophic scenario. In that case, any currency wont be very handy, maybe gold/silver coins, but maybe even that would be worthless. Food, water, weapon, shelter and surviving skills would be most appreciated. I do think that man should be prepared for almost anything, but I think/hope that your scenario will never come.
95  Other / Off-topic / Re: if you could live anywhere on: February 08, 2017, 10:40:40 AM
Somewhere on the coast, near sea. But that country/city have to have good health care, some schools maybe even college for my kids that is not too far. Overall safety in country is also must have, so I would narrow it down to Croatia, Istria region.
I would not say that Croatia is a safe region. There is a problem inside the country between people. And it is not an indication that Croatia became a member of the European Union. It is still a risk.

Well as I already live in Croatia (not on coast) I can say you are wrong. According to Numbeo, Croatia is on 9th place for safety index in Europe, and 21st place in whole world. And like I said, I live there, I feel very much safe already, living in big city. Coastal cities with less population is even safer.
96  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Six other times the US has banned immigrants on: February 07, 2017, 12:08:48 PM
about banned immigrant, is US judicature cancel to donal trump policy
so banned immigrant still pending program, all country still can visit to US

The policy was suspended by some low ranking judge, and it will be challenged in the higher courts very soon. This is exactly the reason why the Americans elected Trump. The leftist liberals were always trying to sabotage people's will using these biased judges.
The root cause of terrorism is poverty, ignorant, injustice and hatred. If humanity wants to solve the problem of terrorism is not by banned some group of people not to enter one countries as this will end up create more enemies for your country. Terrorism can be resolved by justice and eliminations' of poverty around the world. The money developed countries are spending for wars all over the world can be used to create love, foods and justice around the world.

This sounds lovely, but it will never happen, its not in the interest for bigger players. Wars are what drives them, they make big money out of it. I have no problem with immigrants, but it should be done slowly with many precaution, they need to adopt in new country, respect its laws and culture. It takes lot of time and effort, and money especially.

98  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin atm on: February 07, 2017, 11:53:52 AM
Maybe it should be called Bitcoin ATM Exchange, I see some mix it with banks. You buy and sell bitcoins at it, so it works like exchange to me. I got 2 in my town, I think both are 2 ways, so you can buy and sell for fiat. I didnt use them yet, and I would like to see some web where you can see rates and fees, I cant find it anywhere online.
99  Other / Archival / Re: Earning "free" bitcoins on: February 06, 2017, 12:08:40 PM
Well faucets are still free. I cant really feel bad about those 15 seconds spent every hour to collect them. And there is always a chance to win more then just 200 satoshi. I dont know how much I really collected on faucets, sure its micro earning, but when I say its "free" I really mean it. Unlike signature campaign where you really get much more, but also takes more time and effort, not all can do it, unlike faucet.
Well with time, you would get to know better! Faucets are okay as entry point into the cryptocurrency world, but subsequently a person needs to move on to more effective ways for gathering the coins, otherwise it would be difficult justifying the time spent online as those dust may not even be enough to pay for internet subscription, much more put something in your pocket. Time must be seen as money otherwise, one is simply missing the point.

Dont worry, I know that, but topic is for "free" bitcoins. We can then draw the line and say there is no free anything, so does bitcoin.
1. I buy bitcoin with what I earn on regular job - it's not free, I put my time and knowledge into it
2. Trading with altcoins - takes some time, knowledge, luck and starting capital
3. Gambling - basically same as trading, I play only BJ, earning on average 2-3$ a day, cause I play "safe"
4. Signature campaign - takes time and effort
5. Faucets - only time

There is no other purpose of life besides living and giving birth. What you do with your life is up to you, do what makes you feel good, as long as it does not affect other people's life in bad way. If you want to focus on family, job, partying... It's all up to you, you set your purpose goals.
