81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why so many Bitcoin users have fear of governments? on: May 19, 2018, 04:35:25 AM
I can't escape to notice that many users here on forum have terrible rebbelious fear of governments. Like government is some evil devil that will destroy Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. But is this realy so, do such claims have any reasonable ground at all?

To my opinion the cause for something like that is again ignorance. I think that regulation that is mentioned in many countries is often mixed with centralization which is something that is not natural to Bitcoin because it's functioning totaly different than fiat currencies. Also some warnings to people that Bitcoin is volatile and risky investment that come from national banks are often interpretated as hostile behaviour towards Bitcoin and attempts to make people not to use it.

Is there any hope that Bitcoin users and governments will find the common language and help Bitcoin together to be more accepted in economy, especialy by businesses and to become more "legal" everywhere?

I think it is somewhat normal for the people who uses bitcoin in their country that it is not legal to them. But somehow i want to believe that bitcoin and government will approach each other to be legalize it in whole world. However, I cannot see the things will go easy on the bitcoin and government to each other. Its hard to believe that it will happen in future.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Depending your future in bitcoin... on: May 19, 2018, 03:32:53 AM
I think bitcoin is really a good investment for now, but I don't think it is a good idea to put all your investment in bitcoin or crypto currencies since it is unpredictable and very risky to take. For me it's still better to start your own business than depend your future in bitcoin investment.

What do you think guys?

Yes, your right. Even bitcoin is a really good investment but it is not a wise decision to put all  your money to invest in bitcoin or crypto currencies. You cannot determine your future for taking a risk it's better to have a small business or find something that worth it for your future. So, overall i don't want to be at risk. Even though its legit but i can't take a risk for putting all your investment in bitcoin or crypto currencies.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: May 18, 2018, 09:41:26 PM
Satoshi Nakamoto is the name used by the unknown person or people who developed bitcoin, authored the bitcoin white paper, and created and deployed bitcoin's original reference implementation. As part of the implementation, they also devised the first blockchain database. In the process they were the first to solve the double-spending problem for digital currency using a peer-to-peer network.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is...... on: May 18, 2018, 07:12:11 PM
Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and worldwide payment system. It is the first decentralized digital currency, as the system works without a central bank or single administrator and released as open-source software in 2009. Bitcoins are created as a reward for a process known as mining. They can be exchanged for other currencies, products, and services. The word bitcoin first occurred and was defined in the white paper. It is a compound of the words bit and coin. The white paper frequently uses the shorter coin.
85  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin value on: May 18, 2018, 01:49:14 AM
I've just watched the John Oliver show about cryptocurrencies and something struck me about what he said:

" like most currencies, the fundamental reason that bitcoin has value is that people agree that it has value"

I just want to know your thoughts on this. I only have a little understanding about the idea of currency and its value although i've already been at it all my life. Im new into this kind currency and right now its plumetting.

As you can see, bitcoin value is not permanent. It can be increase or it can be decrease. It depends on the user of bitcoin on how it will be supply to the people and also demand can affect the price of the so called bitcoin. People will determine if bitcoin is worthy or not by using or selling it to the market. It will be the source of the knowings of how will bitcoin will proceed or should i say it will go higher or lower.
86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government and Bitcoin on: May 17, 2018, 04:00:46 PM
Why, until now, government all over the world still doesn't trust bitcoin?

I think not all government against in bitcoin. Maybe some government are just being careful because of the investment due to scamming issues which lead the government doesn't trust bitcoin and they are preventing their people to invest in it. Also, some government has its own reason why didn't they using it.
87  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think cryptocurrencies have the potential to overtake regular currencies? on: January 22, 2018, 12:54:09 AM
Would banks and governments actively work and implement countermeasures to undermine this process? Are the underestimating the potential of cryptocurrencies by investing in some of them?
Do you think there is a possibility of cryptocurrencies being banned in the future for the reason of being a threat to "normal" currencies?

Im not sure governments are going to happily accept bitcoin as a replacement for their fiat currencies. You have to ask yourself: why? what do they win doing that?

Why would governments replace their currencies, which they control, for a currency that nobody controls? It makes no sense.

I see bitcoin as a neutral asset like gold primarily, secondarily as a currency, and it will depend on the people using it or not. The big mistake is considering bitcoin before digital gold, because that's where big blockers ruin everything.
It can replace the regular currency of the cryptocurrency because bitcoin is so convenient to use rather than the regular currency. We as a supporter of bitcoin we can push through the importance of bitcoin to use. I agree that bitcoin as neutral asset like gold is a primary and secondary currency that depend on the people using it or not. Just be slowly but surely in using bitcoin because other people like the government did not know properly the bitcoin.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Die Because of China? on: January 20, 2018, 01:41:02 PM

I guess the best answer to that question is of course a BIG NO! Granted, China is a big contributor for the rise and adoption of Bitcoin and they are primarily the country involved with Bitcoin mining due to very cheap electricity cost.

Now, the Chinese government has its own agenda and I think in the long run Bitcoin can be running against those agenda so they are now thinking of slowly disengaging and disconnecting their citizens away from the cryptocurrency platform.

I know that whatever China will decide on the impact can be heavy on the market and this is shown with the recent decision banning the ICO projects and the unconfirmed total ban of Bitcoin exchanges though it is still a rumor and nobody would want to confirm.

Can cryptocurrency still go on and have a very optimistic future even without China as part of the equation?
I agree because china is the big contributor of bitcoin they will tend to support more the BTC. That humor is not true nowadays there is so many fake news everywhere. Bitcoin will not die because of china it is proven and we see the result. The chinese government has its own agenda.
89  Economy / Economics / Re: Do bitcoin millonaires deserve their wealth? on: January 20, 2018, 04:32:03 AM
It is know that bitcoin has made a few millionaires, but many of these people don´t have any particular knowledge of the economy nor business. Do you think that is a fair situation?
For me I think yes because they are the hardworking man in this bitcoin world. They find time to make money they find time to post and post time to time and maintain there earnings. They are the one who have a big role and part of the bitcoin world. They strive harder to conquer the challenges they take so that they success in bitcoin world. Truly they deserve the wealth.

The stock market is 70% overvalued ... crash now inevitable

Author Charles Dickens' classic, A Tale of Two Cities, begins this way: "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness ... ."

According to one stock market analytical firm, GMO, today's market behavior resembles Dickens' book, which was published in 1859 and was set during the time of the French Revolution some seven decades earlier.

As the firm noted, in recent days much of the investing and financial world was focused on a meeting in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, attended by Federal Reserve chairperson Janet Yellen. But GMO analysts were watching other things and events happening in the market.

In August, the firm noted in its monthly report – reproduced in part by Zero Hedge – that Shiller P/E, a respected metric for measuring U.S. equities valuation, surpassed 27. Given that normally its range is somewhere slightly above 16, it appears that valuations are looking a bit larger than they should be.

What's more, GMO noted, the last time the Shiller P/E was above 27 was in October 2007, "and we all know how that movie ended," the GMO report said.

'A tale of mediocrity, at best'

And though no one at the analytical firm is saying that the nation and the world are set to experience another Great Recession and near-meltdown of the global economic order – and nothing is written in stone saying that stocks are not allowed to become more expensive – "we continue to maintain our bias against U.S. stocks," the firm said in its report.

At the same time, the firm said, it was tracking a widening disconnect between fundamentals of the U.S. economy, corporate America and their stocks. "It really is a tale of two cities," the analytics firms said, "one of mediocre fundamentals versus a meteoric rise in markets."

In assembling some relevant metrics pertaining to the overall health of the economy and some top-line/bottom-line figures from the S&P 500 index, the firm looked at gross domestic product growth, productivity and household income, in addition to some others like revenue and earnings for U.S. stocks, just to round out the assessment.

"It is a tale of mediocrity, at best," the firm wrote in its report.

After that, analysts contrasted those metrics with actual market returns of the S&P 500 Index spanning the past five years. "Truly meteoric," the firm wrote, adding this caveat: "As an aside, we at GMO have always been leery of drawing too many investment conclusions from staring at economic data–we are more valuation-oriented, after all–but even we are struck by the divergence."

Cool
Bitcoin is a good investment now because Bitcoin is a so-called virtual currency that has been devised for anonymous payments made entirely independently of governments and banks. In recent years, Bitcoin has generated a great deal of attention on several fronts. Bitcoin payments are based on a new interesting technical solution and function differently to traditional payments. Use of Bitcoin for payments is high today, and although Bitcoin’s future is uncertain, it is an interesting innovation worthy of description.
91  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: January 16, 2018, 04:35:22 PM
i had about $200 worth of bitcoin.
How can i earn more with that amount?
should I trading? or make an investment?
and please give me some trusted site to investing my wealth.

**i dont want to give a loan, or else.**

if you had some advice, feel free to tell me.
really apreciate it.
thank you.
For me I think trading because both of you will gain and earn. Both of you will receive benefits or something while investing also I must prefer because investing is one of the important needs of every individual. Investing can make you ready interms of scarcity. It is like hoarding. You hoard your money for your needs and wants. Overall Investing is very good and I must prefer to use.
92  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoin on: January 16, 2018, 04:19:43 PM
I’m newbie here... What’s the best way to earn Bitcoin? I need assistance please. Thank you.
Many ways I can use to get bitcoin. But the best way I often use is by following a signature campaign to get bitcoin, and there are still many ways to get bitcoin through mining, investing, we can also buy bitcoin at certain supermarkets that have sold bitcoin and can also get bitcoin by gambling but looks negative in this case in people's eyes .
The best way to earn bitcoin is to make more accounts and pilot all the accounts to earn money and for you to gain more income. Also the best way to earn bitcoin is to stock it and wait to rise the cryptocurrency of the bitcoin then the value of your money will also rise up. But the important is to be wise and practical in earning bitcoin.

95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: January 13, 2018, 08:22:37 AM
I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

Many people against bitcoin because bitcoin is a so-called virtual currency that has been devised for anonymous payments made entirely independently of governments and banks. In recent years, Bitcoin has generated a great deal of attention on several fronts.people wants also attention always so that they don't want bitcoin in a first place. There is no central Bitcoin issuer because the value units are created automatically in the network. We all know that the network is connected to the people, this is why people against bitcoin because of a lot of issues and flaws in the world.

98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If bitcoin can be used in gambling. Is it possible to use it casino? on: November 14, 2017, 07:08:00 AM
I have no idea if casino will ever accept bitcoin as exchange for chips that is used in gambling.
You can realize of course, but casinos are more profitable than cash. And as an alternative is a very good idea, not many will certainly use such a service, but still.
Yes, bitcoin is a virtual money. And if it is money then it can be use to exchange for chips in the casino. Casino's should have computer in there place for this matter.

Is it late too late na ngayon lang mag.invest in bitcoin or may pag.asa pa naman?
100  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Which is the best way to promote products or links? on: September 15, 2017, 05:28:21 PM
Who told you forum and social media is useless? I think your marketing materials is not attractive. Another factor is the niche, if you post bitcoin related ads to food, or celebrity no one will click your ads.

Which is the best way to promote products or refferal links? Social media and forums is total shit,no one interested in this.
In this world or rather this time many of us are using phones and laptop. We are surfing the internet and using social media like facebook and twitter. For me, the best way  to promote are links because those people who you can talk about this is also your friends specially on facebook. You will ask them to click this or that and they will do it. They will do your instructions without hassle. Inshort it is one click away. And it is the best way to promote.
