81  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: December 03, 2017, 02:34:02 PM
yes definitely Bitcoin could resolves unemployment in one country, if all people knew that Bitcoin is a good source of income, you can trade or invest to Bitcoin so I think it would help to resolves the unemployment in one country, if you are dedicated and responsible person you will gain a lot thru bitcoin, and I think if Bitcoin is regulated to any country it will help or resolves an employment in the world.
Yes that bitcoin have played a very big role in economy of many countries and in my country bitcoin role is very great because bitcoin bring revaluation in my country a lot of people have joined bitcoin and they are taking advantage of it and some of them have changed their life so we all are very happy from bitcoin and we wish that bitcoin become more powerful and success full in future and we will support bitcoin forever.

I think you don't need to say it like that, in that way of saying, it is that like bitcoin is a alive and making all of this in it's own accord. I think what you need to thank is the people who are supporting and investing to bitcoin, and I think this will be continuing to grow more since the popularity of bitcoin is again growing so fast, I think you will not be stopping to thank these people the same as the pumping of the price of bitcoin.

Higher demand will lead to higher price of bitcoins in future and same we are witnessing at a moment as price increased massively in this year in compare to the last year and it will be even higher by the end of the year as by that time many new people and investors will show their interest in bitcoins and help in taking bitcoin price in positive direction.
Actually, at present or even in the past months, many investors are continuously investing to Bitcoin, since its price is at its peak. And even more investors have invested to Bitcoin, resulting a higher price (that's the entire goal of these people, to increase its price and have even more profit) than the past years (well its just one element that affected the price of it).

But I don't it will increase even more 'before' the end of the year, because there would a be another Fork, and we know what's the result of this. On the contrary, in the beginning of the year, it will going to be an increase again.
82  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Let's talk about Alt Coins on: November 18, 2017, 12:57:26 AM
mag pagasa pa kayang tumaas ang litecoins? balak ko kasing maginvest kaso nagdadalawang isip pako. Baka kasi bumaba sya lalo.
Now, dahil naearn mo na to, matatackle mo din kung pano magtrade, atleast nagamit mo na yung time na sumali ka para pagaralan ito, hindi 'yung bago ka palang dito sasabak agad sa digmaan ng trading (if you know what I mean).
83  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Let's talk about Gambling on: November 18, 2017, 12:47:12 AM

We are talking about Bitcoin here, mahiya ka naman.
85  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Do we want our own coin? on: November 18, 2017, 12:27:11 AM
I saw a thread earlier asking about Philippine based or targeted coins, and there have been a few attempts at a country coin. Is this really something that we are interested in?

The purposes for others was for remittances, for general investing, for bills payments and banking, for OFWs, for rewards, for points.

Would we like something similar to Bitcoin ATMs where you can buy and sell on a machine?

Do we want a free airdrop? Or an ICO? Or a mixture of both? (Bounties of course will be available.)

Discuss.

But i dont see any point putting up a coin kung bitcoin palang wala ideya ang karamihan dito sa pilipinas
86  Economy / Economics / Re: Where do you spend your money from Bitcoin? on: November 18, 2017, 12:17:00 AM
Today's economy is either rising or falling depending on the consumers and sellers. If you join the Bitcoin, there is a high probability that you will gain something from your money because there are a lot of opportunities here. So my question is, "Where do you usually spend your money that you have gained here in Bitcoin?"
Just like any other money spending habits would. What I'm talking about is, you want to spend your money wisely right? So you may want to use it in things that are going to be useful, not those things that are only used just to satisfy yourself. We are talking about a house, a car, a business etc. something like that. You don't want to waste your money, knowing that you worked for it day and night just earn that much.
87  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Amazon Integrate Bitcoin? on: November 18, 2017, 12:07:25 AM

Since paypal is basically ebay owned and not accepted at amazon it does make sense they might incorporate a crypto as a way to attack paypal. Maybe they will launch amazon coin we will see.

Paypal and Ebay are two separate companies for a long time now. Amazon has never included Paypal because Amazon considers Paypal as a competitor directly and not directly. If you use Amazon you have noticed this company is not accepting any payment processor. They accept only Visa/Mastercard, gift cards, etc.
They have already Amazon Payment that they struggle to be adopted so I don't think they are ready to create their coin anytime soon.
If amazon will start its own coin that will not be so successful because people already have a emerging coin that gives a lot to the people and that’s the main reason bitcoin is accepted by the amazon and this will give amazon extension for surviving in the upcoming era and more to it this is an ease to the bitcoin use that they can shop from amazon without any worry and in future many other stores will accept btc.
When people have a developed and well progressed coin why they will go for the amazon coin and amazon will not gain so much from that coin so accept the things as they are they made a bold decision to accept bitcoin and many other stores are following them and in future they will also accept this coin as payment and I think amazon will not do any stupidity to introduce any other coin they are making good through it.
I think this conversation is out of track, no one have mentioned that there will be an 'Amazon Coin', the thread is about will Amazon adapt Bitcoin as their medium of payment? That's it, nothing about Amazon making their own coin and stuff.

I think they are not ignoring it, they're just waiting for the right time to accept it as means of payment. But by having this transaction issues, they seem can't comprehend the time they have to wait just to confirm that transaction, so lightning network will soon fix this problem.
89  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: November 17, 2017, 11:27:26 PM
This is possible, but this would be implemented by the governments.  This would result into fiat currency being converted to electronic currency. Generally, I think this will not result to the governments using cryptocurrency as most of those are decentralized. Something the governments don't want.
I think, the government will not agree on implementing this in the first place. Because, digital currency or cryptocurrencies are decentralized, therefore taxing it would be impossible. By having the fact that it is decentralized and they cannot tax people out of it,the government will eventually be insufficient with their funds. And might result to banning the cryptos.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is it the Future of Banking ? on: November 17, 2017, 06:53:40 PM
It is not quite a good ring to the ear for me. Why not? Because first of all, Bitcoin is decentralized and I mean no one is controlling this kind of currency. So why the heck did you think that the future of Bitcoin is through banking? That only means that it going to be centralized, therefore the volatility of Bitcoin is no more, and eventually the hiked price that we are experiencing right now will just going to be gone.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoins? Which is safer or more profitable? on: November 17, 2017, 06:37:56 PM
Declaimer, everything I am about to say is only through my own 'experience' and 'opinion'.

We can't say that a coin existence is 100% safe, what I mean is that, the coin is not the one who's alarming but the wallet you're using for its storage.

Now setting that aside, it leads us to 'profitable' section. You see Bitcoin have high value, and definitely it is easy to be trade. By having sky rocket price, many people are attracted to this coin and eventually invest in it. Resulting an even higher price of this coin and the loop will continue. But on the other hand, Altcoins are not that different to Bitcoin, because they've come with the idea of making projects for a specific coin and creating these so called Tokens. By starting an Initial Coin Offering(ICO) many Altcoins have benefited to this, by forking that specific coin to be used as the currency exchange for that specific Token. Now the profitability of the Altcoins depends on how the projects are successful.
92  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is an asset or currency. on: November 17, 2017, 06:19:51 PM
It sure is an asset. No matter how you look at it, it will still show itself as an asset. By making daily transactions, using it to pay bills, buying things or items, or even use it as an investment, name it will still look like an asset.

Well, depending on how you will use it ofcourse. If you are a big money spender like, you spend your time and money through gambling then, you can definitely use this. By joining in an online gambling site using Bitcoin then it is the right currency for you. If the chances is in your favor by winning many time then the volatility of Bitcoin is the only thing you're going to look out for, it is also a sort of gambling material.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest way to keep bitcoins? on: November 16, 2017, 05:23:12 PM
i think someone can be more safe with ledger wallet like Nano s
The ledger wallet is a smart choice, but I would still say that it depends on how you're going to use. I mean for a long term hold of tokens and coins, it more likely to grab a hardware wallet or the cold storage. By this, you can be sure that the security you need is all in place. It is offline though, perfect for holding, for a very long time as I said. But if you often wanted to check if you can sell the tokens or trade the coins, then storing something in the exchangers are quite smart.
94  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: November 16, 2017, 04:54:49 PM
I guess bitcoin reduces unemployment is true, but the important thing is Bitcoin give unemployment income. In social status, yes they are still unemployment but atleast they have job to do and have income from bitcoin

True! they are unemployed but they have earnings through bitcoin, base on some stories heard from friends they earn more than an employed person earned.
I have seen so many people who are working for bitcoin and earning more than any salaried person. Unemployment can’t be removed or eliminated from this planet earth but yes there would be something that can make it less and bitcoin is one of those.

It has really made an impact for reducing the number of unemployed persons from a certain society and that is so good.
I agree with you because some people even made bitcoin their daily life job but i would say to no to depend it on it too much because what if one day it dies than you will lose everything and try to cash out sometimes and not keep saving everything.
hmm, I think that wouldn't happen since, it will start you from thinking about your future. You already realize that this will not go on forever so you would have ideas like making a business, or investing in a more profitable investment just to save up some for future purposes. I mean by that time it would die, you already have everything planned to make up for that loss.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: November 16, 2017, 12:25:45 PM
Bitcoin is being used widely in porn sites, gambling and drug dealing sectors. Is that why the btc made for ?
nope. I think satoshi did not make bitcoin for that bad use.

I have seen a lot of members in this forum discussing about buying drugs, gambling and enjoying porn with bitcoin. Is not it a misuse of a currency ? Block chain tech is a awesome tech and btc is getting popular. I hate these misuses of precious btc. It hurts me. This will lead into unhealthy society along with unhealthy future generation.
yeah, actually it will make people who do not use bitcoin will think that bitcoin is for criminals. and I ever read someone made a thread who said that his father did not agree his job to earn bitcoin. it was reallt bad.

It depends upon the person on how they will use bitcoins but i dont think that this is being developed in the bad side.
Let me enlighten you guys. Satoshi don't have a single intention for Bitcoin to be used in such manner. Its just that, the concept of Bitcoin itself dragged it down to this lewd and illegal contents. You see, porn sites and the 'black market' are all illegal, therefore if a currency (let's say Dollar) is being used in this kind of platform, it will easily going to be tracked by that government (those transactions) and eventually caught these people that are behind all of these.

But, what if they use a currency that are free to its utilization? Free from crime, and free from recognition. Here comes the concept of cryptocurrency, decentralization. By this people who're using this kind of currency to that platform will just going to easily slip through any illegal acts. They can pay for the Porn, buy weapons, drugs etc. and won't be caught by the government, because they are incognito.

Also this is one of the reasons why some country bans cryptocurrencies.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: November 16, 2017, 12:03:19 PM
Of course, all chances are there and open, nothing perfect, the coins that now look good will be refined with another coin. but it seems like it takes a long time to replace bitcoin because bitcoin market cap is currently the largest.

None of the existing altcoins will have any significant impact on Bitcoin!
This is whisful thinking. None of those will replace Bitcoin.
The big money is moving into Bitcoin right now. With big money I mean the Wall Street and the institutional money.
Bitcoin will continue rising like crazy. Most alts will act like penny stocks imo. They are mostly used to make more Bitcoin with it.
They will rise in terms of USD. But most of them will continue to lose against BTC, with some up and down swings of course due to natural market behaviour.

I WANT TO BELIEVE! And I am still a believer in BTC - however:
Last Sundays BCH Attack far exceeded anything I could have imagined.

What if the next pump is even stronger? And the one after that?

One day => BCH Flippening?

Dont get me wrong I am in NO WAY trying to promote Bitcoin Trash here. I HATE  that centralized pseudocryptocurrency bullshit.

I am also one of the believers of bitcoin and  i am also worried about the recent happening Iike somebody is trying to manipulate the pump of certain coin,  i am trying to keep calm and think it in a positive way that btc will certainly recover, and btc is back now.

I just realized how the reign of BTC is even manifested in our language.
The fact that we have "Bitcoin" and "Altcoin" - implying they are just an alternative of the original (which is true) - the fact also (others mentioned it here before) that BTC is used on bittrex and others as store of value like EUR or USD. It all looks like a "Kneel before the King" situation.

However, one of his subjects has been especially naughty these days. and should be punished by death in my opinion.
Uhm okay but i think that alt do not have chance at all against bitcoins because they are using the same technology as bitcoin but i do know that you can even make more profit with altcoins then with bitcoin it does depend on how much you have of one.
You guys have a point and all, but in my own opinion, its more like Bitcoin is just being used as their material. What I mean about this is that Bitcoin is just being used as their way of getting more profits. And by this Bitcoin also gain benefits from this as well.

You see Altcoins are exactly just like Bitcoin, it only seem that Bitcoin is at the number one spot at the moment. And in order for the Altcoins to compete, they've come up with the ICOs, these projects are made and have been forked in a specific Altcoin, for instance Ethereum. And by this way that specific Altcoin grew in value as it was being continued to be utilized by many ICOs.

99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Earn Ethereum ? on: October 27, 2017, 11:49:24 PM
You can setup a big rig with multiple GPU's but I don't suggest investing in graphic cards. It's better to make investment with that money than buying a lot of GPU's and make mining. ROI times are too long now. If you directly buy Ethereum you can make more profit because Ethereum price will rise faster than ROI time.
This suggestion is not quite bad, but the only drawback here is that it is for the end game. Since 'Mining' is for people that have already have many income for the past few years. But then again, if you have the cash for it, even if you are relatively new to this platform then go ahead. Mining is one of the most effective way to earn not only ethereum but also other altcoins and even Bitcoin really. Just don't mess up about the construction of this rig, because if you get the wrong pieces for it then it will likely to fail.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the best ICO you've invested in? on: October 27, 2017, 10:03:27 PM
So far the best ICO that I've invested in is StuffGoGo. It is a very good ICO, very successful, I heard that the are very busy making interviews and stuffs that made the coin very successful. It has quite been a long time to make them distribute and sell the tokens but it was worth the wait.

They are just been busy like what I've mentioned about the interviews. So they don't have much of the time distributing it on time.
