81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Feathercoin [FTC] on: October 24, 2018, 07:03:58 PM
I wonder what Feathercoin is working on right now, i havent seen a lot of them recently. hopefully they're keeping their heads down during this bear market and bring out something new when it picks back up
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] «Envion» Most Profitable Self-Expanding Crypto Infrastructure on: October 24, 2018, 07:02:12 PM
If they were already established business and were producing money from mining containers in that case it was lot more easier to control the company to give it under new management. I understand your point of view but installing mining equipment and controlling the project is not solution anymore. It is too complicated to give happy ending. Without fresh capital project will not see success and who will dare to put money in a project which was rolling in courts. There is no chance of recovery for this project anymore.

even with new capital, they've got so much debt because of legal fees and insurance that it would take a miracle to make it work. Also, with cloud and fog mining growing daily, traditional miners will no longer be profitable in a year or two
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SAFEST ALTCOINS TO INVEST IN? on: October 24, 2018, 07:00:59 PM
Every coin can be dumped in a such bad market, but there are some coins price of which hasn't dumped so much comparing to others. For instance, BNB token feels fine during 2018 due to the coin burning processes.

Not exactly because of the burn but mostly because smart people kept buying as the markets went down, and as binance is the most popular exchange, so are the binance tokens
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SONM • Decentralized Fog Computing on: October 24, 2018, 06:59:42 PM

I think SONM is doing a good job with advertising. SONM is not something that everyone needs. It's really just for businesses. That is why they go to all of these Cloud Computing Conferences. All the advertising they are doing is for attracting customers at this point. They already have a couple of large miners with over a thousand GPU's on standby ready go when it is needed. Number of active deals are hovering over 100 lately. (128 deals right now) Once more suppliers are NEEDED and a more friendly Windows software is available for suppliers then SONM can crank up the advertising to the masses of less sophisticated people. They are now working with companies on a one to one basis to get them on-boarded. It is perhaps risky for businesses to jump into and start using SONM. The platform is a bit cumbersome but they are doing a good job of improving it. I see on the updated road map Q3 2019 Native Windows support for suppliers! I hope this includes GPU's and not just CPU's!

Exactly, people are mad that they dont see facebook ads but that would be a big waste of money. As an individual you'd probably make less than 20$ a month selling excess computing power, but big data centers and universities and such could make thousands a month, and save thousands a month. Its about perspection
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: October 24, 2018, 06:57:43 PM
I think the BNB coin will rise tremendously in value as its clear they're going to keep burning coins and the demand for a professional platform like this will only rise. i even expect a buyout by a very big investment fund or wall street trading company
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next 100x-1000x coin? on: October 24, 2018, 06:56:04 PM
Are you crazy? Cheesy It's too much. But I can recomend PundiX and Metal. These projects have strong products and powerful team. I think they might do x10.

x100 coins are definitely possible still, maybe even x200. Most hidden gems are barely touching the surface of whats possible, preparing to solve problems that dont even exist yet.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum in 5 years on: October 24, 2018, 06:49:12 PM
Its difficult to predict but one this is for sure, the supply is limited, the demand will only increase as more and more applications for blockchain will be discovered, so the only thing that can happen is an increase in value. I estimate it will easily lie between 2 and 5K
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: October 24, 2018, 06:45:06 PM
the microsoft partnership is a massive deal for stratis. Its amazing to see projects like this get accepted by mainstream giants and acknowledged by the established IT world. We'll see more of this as the market matures, no doubt
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can an Altcoin below ICO price rise again after falling? on: October 24, 2018, 06:35:07 PM
Ofcourse it can. Price has currently very little to do with value, mostly because bitcoin is still at a bottom, but also because very few projects offer real value right now, compared to their non-blockchain counterparts.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Aion Token Swap on: October 20, 2018, 10:09:22 AM
Every significant project is trying to break free from the bigger parties like Bitcoin and Ethereum, good to see Aion is joining this movement. Question, my coins are being swapped on binance, how long until this is done?
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best crypto to buy now? on: October 17, 2018, 09:40:21 PM
i recommend sonm and aion (low caps with insane potential, probably x50 in less than 3 years), litecoin (probably one of the few alts that will be added to an ETF), and take 10% for bitcoin and 10% for a few very low capped coins (adbank, datum, ...)

The very good approach, but I don’t understand what the prospects are for Sonm, everyone talks about him that way, but I don’t like him. Especially here the Russian team, all right?

what dont you like about them? the platform is fully operational, they have excellent customer service, they release new updates constantly, they're working closely to microsoft (no official partnership announced but i believe we'll see one in the next year)
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO] AION - The Third Generation Blockchain Network on: October 17, 2018, 09:37:34 PM
i see a lot of exchanges have supported the swap, and lots more are coming i think. I did it with binance, not sure when it'll be done but i'm sure they'll handle it correctly
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SAFEST ALTCOINS TO INVEST IN? on: October 17, 2018, 09:35:44 PM
if you want safety, go with bitcoin, litecoin and ethereum. Those three are practically guaranteed to remain relevant as well as go x10 from here, you wont see life changing profits, but profits you will see
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO for August 2018 on: October 17, 2018, 09:34:27 PM
look for ICO's with a solid team that has real experience, thats by far the most important factor. Anyone can come up with good ideas, but execution is everything; iMusify, RealyReturns, Tachain, ... are some go to examples

96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best upcoming ICO on: October 17, 2018, 09:29:42 PM
My top picks would be iMusify (spotify on blockchain), realtyreturns (real estate investing on the blockchain), tachain (watch ads during cab rides and get paid), and securix (giant bitcoin mining factory)
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum in 5 years on: October 17, 2018, 09:27:58 PM
Ethereum ,It is not just a currency, it is a world in itself. It helps for anyone with a technical background to create tokens, create smart contracts and even an organization in itself.

yes but neo, stratis, nem, .. can do all of that too. The best thing ethereum has is the first movers advantage, just like bitcoin. Its capabilities are not special compared to other alts
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: October 17, 2018, 09:26:24 PM
Yes, guys, I think Binance is the coolest exchange. This is the only exchange that I have been using for several years. I used to use Poloniex and Bittrex, but when Binance appeared I stopped using them.

You shillers are just so obvious. Binance is barely one year old and yet you claim to be using it for much longer.

Binance is the most powerful now, we cannot argue. The recent delisting of coins caused every one to crash in price, so that's proof of how infuential Binance has become. But don't forget, the bigger they are, the harder they fall. Mt Gox, Poloniex, Kraken. All big and influential in their days. All either dead or dying and almost not significant.

Things change in crypto so quickly. Binance is the present but it will not be the future for a long time more.

great point but one that most people dont dare to acknowledge. Personally i love binance as a trading tool (lots of volume and excellent customer support) but i keep all my assets on my ledger
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WaltonChain WTC on: October 17, 2018, 09:24:23 PM
Walton Blockchain Institute signed a MOU with the Fintech Security Research Center of Chungnam National University to collaborate on the cultivation of blockchain developers! https://twitter.com/Waltonchain/status/1052512368683638784

great news and an overall big step again for blockchain as a whole. Projects like walton really clear the way for fast and secure adoption on a b2b level, whereas less than 1 year ago most active projects were b2c
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN - ICO] CGCX: First Hybrid Crypto Platform In Singapore on: October 17, 2018, 10:58:04 AM
Things are actually pretty quiet around cgcx right now.
Might not be a bad idea to post weekly or at least monthly reports of current progress.
Lol the platform has literally JUST started, its adding new users on a daily basis but they might not be marketing it so hard because its still not scalable enough. Give it time, by december a bitcoin breakout is expected, probably going up, so cgcx will also get a lot more publicity
Don't worry, I understand it perfectly and i meant no offence.
It's been a long time since ico ended in july. I want to see a progress which i believe I'm just not seeing. One month in crypto is like a 3 in the real world Smiley

I give you that, true, but then again is now the right time to come out with marketing? People are careful to invest right now, so trying to get new investors via marketing might be a moot point. Once the market goes back up, people will fomo buy again and cgcx might rekindle its marketing
You're right, these times are crazy. I don't know when is the perfect time for marketing, but they have to start somewhere. I just think weekly-monthly reports would be a good thing.

I think so too, the absence of information and updates leads to anxiety among investors. CGCX needs transparancy, especially since more and more people start to distrust centralized exchanges
