Waiting for below $1  Cheesy
People were saying in January that they would give anything to be able to buy for mid 2017 prices. well... here we are.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos discussion on: August 12, 2018, 11:57:12 AM
What's the current state of the project? still Alpha? I also want to know regarding the KYC verification, what's the deadline?
It is betanet now and mainnet coming in Q3. I don't think there is a deadline for KYC verification, you can do KYC after the main net release.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitBay OFFICIAL BITBAY Thread Smart Contracts Decentralized Markets Rolling Peg on: August 11, 2018, 12:52:34 PM
Do we have any info about Bitbay market, where regular good ought to be traded?
What daily turnover we have or was implementing market a successfull feature?

bitbay market looks empty. Bitbay is falling 29.30 % today and nobody seems to care. unless its too late I think you should do as I did long time ago. Stop cheating yourself guys.

No matter what you implementing, it doesnt work.
Its a market sentiment these days. Not only Bitbay, every altcoin is down, not just in terms of price but also in volume.

you would think, project started an year ago that received almost half billion usd would have at least one functioning wallet right now that doesn't require you to trust third party.

They are supporting the projects which can help the community and they are focusing on main development. It is not bad way to go.
Having official wallet where I can safely store my tezzies without having to trust third party is the least they could do and its not much to ask from a project that is valued over a billion.

surely you dont understand decentralization. TF can support different projects for the tezos blockchain and endorse and audit those projects-like wallets.

in a way, you can count projects that are supported, endorsed or audited by TF as official.
My main concern is having to trust third party and thats the whole point of decentralization. I don't know why would anyone assume that official and decentralized are the same thing.

Good gains today, as soon as market makes a little bit of recovery NIX is immediately on top gainers. That is significant sign where to invest during trend reversal.

This post didn't age well. and at that time 5.5$ looked really cheap. and now 1.36$ looks surreal. considering ATH was 36$
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Obsidian ODN - CryptoCurrency & Secure Anonymous Messaging on: August 09, 2018, 09:25:37 PM
I had written ODN off as a loss but I have to say the new website is really nice and the claim process registration is very painless, I'm hopeful again for this project.
So on a dashboard where it shows - "approximate odins you will receive", there is nothing else needs to be done other than to wait for coins to arrive? still not sure where will I receive those coin tho.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]🔥 LUNYR 🔥 Decentralized World Knowledge Base on Ethereum / OPEN BETA 🚀 on: August 07, 2018, 11:38:50 AM
you need to be more active on discord and twitter. Especially on discord,  I see spam bots and no admins to clean up the mess.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Obsidian ODN - CryptoCurrency & Secure Anonymous Messaging on: August 07, 2018, 11:33:17 AM
Will I get Odin if I hold my ODN at cryptopia?

No, you have to keep the coins in your wallet.
Only one address is allowed.
Then you need to register on the site.
https://claim.odinblockchain.org

The claiming process is well managed and easy to follow. I am really looking forward to see how many people actually are going to claim their coins since I guess a lot of people will miss the opportunity
Luckily stumbled upon this. First time I hear about this odin. So I went through the claiming process, but not sure when and where I will receive my odins.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]PiCoin [POS+POW] [SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN] on: August 07, 2018, 11:20:18 AM
I think this is a very good project with a design that is pretty neat and meticulous, I hope this project will become big and successful.

We need to find a coin from 2013 that died and bring the bots over to liven it up. Mwahahha
I want to know how to block this theme, because every time the robot responds, I will receive a notification, which is very annoying, is there any setting to block?
Just click on unwatch on top of the right corner and then click notify to disable email notifications.

Is there any news about the third distribution for nix coins? Since I still do not get a nix in my wallet, maybe it's already over?
Claiming Nix period expired more than month ago and distribution of nix was over few weeks ago. Sorry for your loss.

frankly, ADA depends on success of likes of Traxia. More developers will use ADAs platform if first ICO is successful. ADA team should be more active in promoting Traxia.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO September 1] ALIS - Japanese Social Media Network on: August 06, 2018, 06:17:23 PM
Today's $ALIS activity!

- Published the ALIS blockchain blog
- Did the recruitment of engineer
- Worked on development of report feature
- Considered the new design of open β
- Created the presentation slide
- Discussed the development milestone for open β

https://twitter.com/ALIS_media/status/1026462319969091585
Thats nice to see daily reports, but to get more exposure, project needs more liquidity. Is there any work done towards getting listed on bigger exchanges?

This is still official viacoin twitter account. Other one is just to keep community updated on github commits.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos discussion on: August 05, 2018, 09:55:47 PM
Will there be ledger nano S support for Tezos before the mainnet? I saw the guide to do in manually, but not everyone has Linux or know how to compile a wallet. I wish they had at least paperwallet or smth. Its not wise to trust tezzies to a third party.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NIX - Make Bitcoin, altcoins and tokens anonymous with NIX Platform! on: August 04, 2018, 01:38:44 PM
Everyone is concerned about price here, understandably so. However, I would like to see Nix and Blocknet in action making bitcoin transaction anonymous. When are we gonna see that?
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos discussion on: August 04, 2018, 12:41:19 PM
Winklevoss twins added Tezos to their portfolio.

https://winklevosscapital.com/portfolio/

What does this mean? Do they hold a large bag of Tezzies or have they acquired a stake in the parent company and/or foundation? Can't find anything.

I don't know exactly but Tezos appeared in their portfolio list. The other crypto in that list are Bitcoin, Ether and Zcash.

Hope this may bring Tezos closer to Gemini in the future.
Winklevoses have been following tezos since the beginning. I think they are one of the early investors like Tim Draper.

Need some help....

to claim your coin on the TezBox you need:

- 15 words seed --> OK
- activation code --> OK
- email --> OK
- password --> NOT OK. shit I don't remember what for a password I used!   Angry Angry Angry

somebody rember if they gave us "password restriction" like uppercase, bigger as 8 char, or so?

Thank you in advance
That password part is unbelievably irresponsible. Noone told us it would be that important and everyone assumed that seed was what mattered. I don't know if I remember it either. I have not tried to claim it yet.

"Passwords not that important"... LOL  ...Are you kidding us? It was all over the ICO contribution page that participants are responsible for the password and that you'll need it later to claim XTZ.

That's sad that you failed to read and follow instructions but I hope at least you've learnt something Smiley

No I actually found that I wrote down a password and had it saved, thank god. but when you were given seed words and there was no actual wallet to encrypt and its been more than a year since ICO, some people might have saved just a pdf file which had email, contribution address and seed words. and some might have thought of this password as a one time use to send a contribution. It had to be emphasized that if you lose a password you won't be able to access funds. I really don't remember reading such warning.
