81  Economy / Speculation / Re: When BTC will go down on: December 07, 2017, 06:54:11 PM
Hi community, now btc is more then 15500 wha do you think - when is better to sell it? when  price will go down?

Based from personal experience, I can feel that a strong correction will happen anytime sooner. It's over 16k dollar at this moment and it seems holders are preparing in pressing the shiny SELL button. It is best to keep track of the market now n order to be prepared for the hard correction. The price could go down at any moment.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bit coin hit $12500. Is this the time to invest in Bitcoin? on: December 06, 2017, 11:51:55 AM
I have a $1200. I want to invest in bitcoin  Undecided. Is this the time to invest in Bitcoin or should i wait until BTC down?

The very first rule in Bitcoin investing, buy in the dips. Bitcion is currently at its peak and huying now might be a wrong move. However, we do not know how high Bitcoin will go so buying now might be a wise choice after all. I know that my statements are contradicting each other but this is just a mere fact. Bitcoin is unpredictable and volatile in nature so it could go either ways.

If you could consider alts then go for it. I'd prefer ETH or BCH(not an alt in my opinion)
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did i miss the train? on: December 06, 2017, 11:33:04 AM
I sold my BTC at 8200$ and I have kept USDT. I thought to buy it at a lower price but that didn't happen. And when it comes to price 11000$, i thought it was about to fall and now it is fucking 12700$. I think  many people have the same case.

 What is your advice?
1/ Keep waiting, because it will definitely fall at 8,000, 9,000$
2/ Buy the fucking BTC, because it will reach 15,000$ at the end of this year
3/ Buy another atlcoin any, because i miss the train.

For what it seems, you missed only the earlier train. This is the problem when it comes to a nature similar to stock exchanges, you cannot know how high it will go and when will it fall. This is just the way it is. So my advice is to buy some then a correction will probably come sooner or later then buy again. Buying alts is another way but be smart in doing so. And when it pumps, convert it to Bitcoin.
84  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Will hit 13k? on: December 05, 2017, 11:10:36 PM
Any possibilities for a 13k run since there is a new fork in BTC ?

Of course, however, that would depend when. 13k might be possible within this very month of December. We're very close to the 12,000 dollar mark so my claim is very probable. The rumored forks (if still unconfirmed) will be just like the Bitcoin Gold hardfork. The community will not be shaken and will not cause any fuss in the market. Rest assured that all will end well.
85  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Some Speculating Bitcoin To Crash? on: December 04, 2017, 09:07:47 PM

I could not understand why there are those who are also in Bitcoin yet are predicting that Bitcoin can go as low as $3,000 or even  $5,000 when a crash can happen soon. I am not saying that a dip -- a big dip -- will never happen but considering the things happening right now in the world of cryptocurrency, I don't believe that it can go as low as those figures.

Maybe if one day USA will decide to follow the footsteps of Japan in banning Bitcoin trading activities, then maybe it can be possible that Bitcoin can crash big time but even then it can still be able to recover fast due to people always waiting for an opportunity to buy Bitcoin cheaply.

Are you expecting Bitcoin to get so low once it crashed?

Saying that Bitcoin will crash soon are just FUDs. These people are just spreading false rumors so that some people in Bitcoin community with weak hands will immediately press the eject button when they see significant decrease on Bitcoin's price. Thus, making the decrease greater. This has always been so normal and many are getting used to it. But since there are many new comers, they will be the target of these FUDs.

Japan did? I thought it was China.

That should be an obvious yes since the term used was "crash"

...Bitcoin can crash big time but even then it can still be able to recover fast due to people always waiting for an opportunity to buy Bitcoin cheaply.

I also believe in this. It has always been that way so it is very possible and probable that when Bitcoin crashed, many will just buy more at a very low price.
86  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is is still a good time to Invest in Bitcoin? on: December 04, 2017, 08:01:51 PM
I'm watching the bitcoin for a few months now, saw it going up from $2,000 to over $8,000 in just 6 months.

What shook me up this morning is a notification I got by email saying it's over $8,000!! Bitcoin is up by 43% in a single month.

The big question is, will we see $10K soon, perhaps before the end of the year, or what are you guys expecting to see in the next few months?

I've been trading Forex in the past, today mainly US Stocks, but have no clue what to expect from Bitcoin.
Is it still a good time to buy, or should I wait more and see what's going on in the next 6 months? Any thoughts?

If the current price of Bitcoin is the end of its progress and growth, then no it's no good investing now. However, the community believes that Bitcoin is just beginning to show how steadfast it is and how much more it could grow. So with this mindset, it is reasonable to say that investing now is still a good decision. We've seen how fast can Bitcoin grow in value and we've seen how firm people in supporting Bitcoin. So if anyone hasn't jumping in until now, now would be the best time to do so.

88  Economy / Reputation / Re: [User Generated] - Known alts of anyone on: November 20, 2017, 04:38:42 PM
You don't understand English. That's where the confusion is stemming from.

Sorry sir, what I meant was the profile link of jc89 and cyberchevan was used for jaycee99 and tanclan instead of their profile links.

Why one wallet? Why didn't each of you use a separate address from said wallet? And 3MioNsGWzGd4SK87XycqegXAC24Pi8qf6c and 3NVE2o6XRw13fhmMo1LcqJ1kKo5yCco4QU are not from the same wallet going by walletexplorer.

We are actually using coins.ph wallet which is a local exchange here in our country, sir. The wallet isn't capable of making multiple addresses that's why for the time being we used a single wallet address. Then later on me and my husband decided to have our own wallet. And if you can notice, I've been using my own address (3MioNsGWzGd4SK87XycqegXAC24Pi8qf6c) for months now in every campaigns that I've applied for as I've separated all my btc from my brother's wallet.

Using Blocktrail has been great. Admittedly it doesn't catch all of it but it caches most. @DarkStar_, do you (or anyone else) know about an equivalent service for Eth addresses? Google search hasn't been good to me.

This is just hilarious.

It is an unfortunate circumstance for me but if I may explain myself I would like to take this opportunity. This (jc89) is really my account. The reason why I was given a neg trust is because my account is being linked with other accounts which is actually my brother's (skorupi17, Cranidos, cyberChevan) and husband's (jb26) account. With regards to the three other accounts (Wesimon, Quietman, gracia0023) I am honestly clueless about those accounts. I am aware that our fault here is using the same btc address and we did it because for the time being, only one of us have btc wallet. Hoping for another chance. That's all I have to say and if sir Lauda will not revoke my neg trust then there's nothing I can do but to respect it and it will be a lesson learned. I have explained myself and that is all that matters to me.  I'm still grateful to have been in this forum.

Edit:
I am also wondering as I just have noticed it. Why do jaycee99 and TanClan's uuid is connected to jc89 and cyberChevan while This link and his/her address isn't connected to mine. They haven't even given a neg trust. Maybe there's some confusion in this matter?
90  Economy / Economics / Re: Will there ever be a Bitcoin Bank on: November 17, 2017, 05:18:03 PM
Does anyone on here think that there is ever going to be Bitcoin Bank, be it something which is centralized or something which isn't really doesn't matter. But I'd think of this as a company, or a union (like one of those credit union banks) where loans would be given out to people with trust, money is held, and so on and so forth.

I know many think that they can escape banks, but they are insanely helpful and trustworthy for many everyday people who we'd want to join into the BTC community.

Your statements are quite confusing but in my understanding what you're trying to tackle is a btc bank but is not really a bank. But anyways, imho there will never be a btc bank because people will not entirely support it. The sole purpose of btc is to be decentralized and Satoshi developed btc to be free of a third party to in securing our money. If there will be a btc bank then the purpose of btc is lost.
91  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reaches 8000 USD on: November 17, 2017, 04:14:53 PM
I cant believe this

bitcoin is about to reach 8000 USD

The recovery is too fast. and there is a high chance for 10,000 USD by end of this year.

Currently, we're at 7965 in coinmarketcap as I am typing this reply and it's juat a matter of time we will really be at 8K. It's already midnight here in our country and I think there's no way I'm gonna sleep before I see that ATH. Can you imagine we're still halfway through November but we can easily achieve those numbers. So now I am really expecting 10K by the end of the year. Given that there will not be any problem and people will stay focused and keep hodling.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If people stop buying bitcoin on: November 17, 2017, 03:14:26 PM
What will happen if people just stop buying bitcoin? Will bitcoin be as usable as now Or will it be a step towards the end?

How will the market value react to it, people wanting to sell bitcoin but there is no one to buy.

I certainly don't believe this kind of scenario can happen. There will always be more people who will buy rather than sell btc. It's not as if everyone who have btc can have an agreement that they will not buy btc. If you notice, once the value of btc decreases or if there's an instance that it crashes people are racing to buy on a low price ao there's no way will btc lose its value nor will it end or cease. But thinking about it, I think the only thing that will make people to stop buying btc is when the miners stop mining as in not a single miner will mine btc blockchain. That's the time people will start selling but I doubt if they can still sell their coins at all.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin = Laundering on: November 17, 2017, 02:17:19 PM
Some say that you cant claim or transfer your bitcoin to a bank because they will suspect you of laundering.

So if youre using Bitcoin, youre basically a laundering and a criminal Huh

I just want to understand if its any different or just similar. Thank you

No that's not true and we should never generalize in any matters. The government might have their eyes on people who are involved in bitcoins but mostly they are looking for suspicious individuals. You will only be suspected of money laundering if for example you transact with a suspiciously huge amount of btc. That will be a red flag and then when they conduct an investigation and they found out that you have no financial capabilities, no documents to support the legality of your transactions that's when you will be suspected of laundering. And we have to remember that money laundering isn't isolated in btc but in any fiat as well. So let's not jump to a conclusion that if you are using btc you will be automatically guilty of money laundering.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Won BTC Cash battle? on: November 17, 2017, 11:38:27 AM
So it appears bitcoin has won against its strongest nemesis as of yet, and quite convincingly too. Bitcoin Cash going back towards under $1000 whereas bitcoin reaching new heights surpassing 8K.
What do you think this means? And what actually triggered it?

I don't really think it's a battle between two cryptocurrencies because obviously it was an open attack by those people who banded together to satisfy their greed. And I believe that it is just one of the many attacks that btc will be facing in the future. We can consider what happened as just a demonstration or practice. And now that they have proven it effective maybe they're planning for the next one as we speak. But I'm glad that btc is still prevailing and is bound to new heights. If there will really another attack then we'll just cross the bridge when we get there. Let's just make the most oit of btc for now.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If china got their own coin? on: November 17, 2017, 06:49:55 AM
Would they need BTC?  With 1.3 billion potential users wouldn't that be enough?

I think China already have their own coins just like other countries. And I'm positive that those coins are decentralized which means they have control over it. So if you are asking if they still need BTC then my answer is yes. Well, their citizens do and I'm pretty sure some of them really have btc in their stash. Who could resist owning btc right now, right? China is all about having control so of course there will be people there who is tired of being manipulated and maybe that's the reason why there are China town all over the world. Citizens choosing to live far away from their homeland as much as possible.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: more than just currency on: November 17, 2017, 06:14:38 AM
Seems so easy to get lost in our own little worlds of personal greed and forget what bitcoin is really all about.

It is all about rewritting the failed experiment of western consumerism.

It is all about a true global community without borders and central government oppression.

Bitcoin is already a global currency, just the first one. Which is showing humanity there is another way to live other than under wasteful  military and central banking adventures.

Maybe I'm getting outa line for this forum.

Is this forum really about Bitcoin?

I think we can really say that whenever money is the topic, greedy people will be always around the corner to snoop in. You can't just clean this forum with the people like that, as you can see the forum is becoming popular, it's just, it is popular because of how you can earn money in here not because it is all about bitcoin which is said to be the father of all crypto currency.

Yeah we can't do anything about greedy people and it's true that there's no way we can filter those kind of people in this community. But we cannot really blame people for being here for the sole purpose of earning through services. Besides, we have Services section in this forum that's why they're here. Maybe let's just be happy and contented with the fact that they are also gaining more knowledge not just about bitcoin but the whole cryptocurrency. This forum maybe dedicated for bitcoin community but like anything else in this world we learn to adapt.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Silver Fork - December on: November 17, 2017, 03:13:46 AM
If it is true and if it has been already confirmed, then it is going to be a good situation to see bitcoin going up again, maybe we are going to see it going upto $10k because a lot of people will start to invest again in order to receive those bitcoin silvers for free.
but it is annoying, i dont know why they just picked bitcoin "silver" it is weird because we already have a silver version of bitcoin, and it is the Litecoin, and it has been on the market for more than years.
Anyway, lets see how it goes on December.

Beats me to it! That's definitely what's gonna happen, btc price surging because of this another fork. Then what's next? Are they going to cancel the fork again and make btc crash? You're right, these forks are tiring and it seems to me that they are just manipulating the price of btc by doing those forks. Instead of making a better version, what they really have in mind is greed and it should really stop unless they can prove that their project will have a better outcome.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Caused the Boom in Bitcoin on: November 16, 2017, 06:57:35 PM
I've been watching and monitoring bitcoin for close to 3 or 4 years and I can say this year has been the best year for the crypto and all the investors in the market, firstly, the coin witnessed unpredicted increase in value this year more than any other year before.

I know that the value is based on the principle of demand and supply but I'd like to know what else contributed to the price value and the popularity bitcoin has right now globally.

Bitcoin's influence have reached more people as time goes by with the help of people using social media platforms. As a result, many have been curious and gave it a try. And so the law of demand and supply kicked in. Aside from the demand and supply I cannot think of any reason for its boom. I guess it's just a matter of how the demand have risen. I think what contributed more is the help from well known personalities who supported and promoted btc in any possible way they can. Nowadays most people are being fanatic that whenever someone they idolize endorses or promotes a brand, they will definitely buy it. Same goes with btc, if you heard Bill Gates talks about btc you'll definitely wanna know what that is and then maybe purchase some of it. And there are also others who are just simply want to get on the bandwagon.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to invest in cryptos if you're old? on: November 16, 2017, 05:08:20 PM
What would you guys advise someone who is retired, living off pension and savings? Is it too late/risky to invest at that kind of age?
Do you guys think the elderly have a chance of jumping on the crypto train, or do you guys think it's too late for them to invest?

Age does not matter if you want to invest in bitcoin. We don't have any discrimination here and I believe it is for anyone who's willing to know more about it whatever their age is. Besides I'm positive that there are some old people out there who have background in programming or the technology so there won't be any problem for them. But if I were to give an advice to the elders I'd say they should not bother jumping into crypto and just enjoy their lives. They lived their lives and it's time for them not to worry over anything in this world but to relax and have some fun and spend most of their time with their family.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I lost almost 300,000 USD in seconds on: November 16, 2017, 03:59:46 PM
Bought 329 Segwit2x Futures on Bitfinex.
Sometime around the 6th.
Took a gamble yes I know, but after looking into it I believed Segwit2x would be the chain we all use as the real Bitcoin
News comes out that the fork is being called off, by the time i hear it about an hour later I check the futures price and it's trading at a whopping 90$ each
Moral of story :
Don't ever put almost half your portfolio in something risky like a forks futures

Sorry for your loss, that's a huge amount. What convinced you that Segwit2X could be the main chain? Putting half of your portofolio - in a futures - of a shitty fork of Bitcoin. That's three big mistake.

I couldn't believe that there are actual people who thinks B2X/BCH/other fork could replace the original Bitcoin. These things has happened over and over again since 2014 by the same people/group (Bitcoin Classic, Bitcoin XT, Bitcoin Unlimited) yet people are still falling for it. Most people, including me, seeing those fork only as a way to make small gain by selling those coins immediately after the fork.

Yeah I agree with CodyAlfaridzi here. You just made the biggest mistake of your life when you gambled that huge amount into something that's not sure. You are one hella big risk taker I've known so far. 300K isn't a joke and I'm sorry for your loss. I'm also wondering why you're certain that segwit2x will be the main chain because for me I never believed in any of those fork coins.
