83  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: How can you sure your cloud service does the thing? on: November 12, 2013, 05:27:43 PM
I think the "thing" is "Do they pay out? Is there any proof of them paying out if you ask for a withdrawal?"

And how can they prove they will pay you in future ? You can check yourselves when you request BTC withdrawal

88  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which country might switch to BTC? on: November 04, 2013, 03:43:55 PM
Countries can't adopt bitcoin because they wouldn't be able to forcifully extract wealth from its slaves ('citizens') if it did.

They can, you always have some physical asset. You can use coupons already in your shop, it is not much different from Bitcoin.

Either BFL cashing out some coin, or they suckered some poor fool.  Or maybe, all of BFL's so called regular customs just got the shaft big time as a big order like that is going to get special treatment at the cost of smaller orders.

I'm sure BFL is liquidating some of the massive bitcoins they've mined...  Think about it - BTC is hovering at a premium right now.  Its what I would do.

But why pay Bitpay the commission ?

They could sell the mined coins on exchange and nobody would notice
92  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I invest $70,000 in Bitcoin? How should I do it? on: October 29, 2013, 04:59:14 PM
How long should I keep it invested? What is my probability of loosing money?

If you look at BTC/USD graph then any 1 year investment did not loose value regardless when you bought. But then, no one knows future and there is always possibility BTC gets banned worldwide

95  Economy / Economics / Re: Mass Adoption of BTC on: October 22, 2013, 10:31:26 PM
all we need now is a nice stable 24 month rise to 1500 per BTC and we will begin to see the world jump on the BTC train

That is utterly wrong. The only path to mass adoption is through increased utility and speculation is not a very effective use.

Speculation IS a use

It is, but not long lived option. Only increased Bitcoin useability will guarantee certain price level for longer time

99  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you think BTC will hit $200? on: October 14, 2013, 08:28:30 AM
If difficulty keeps rising the price will in all likelihood

We need to wait before some less effective miners (GH/Watt) become unprofitabe running (given the electricity cost) to see if the price will start rising
