81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zcoin (XZC) - Implementing Zerocoin technology for financial privacy on: December 28, 2017, 10:20:33 PM
We are sponsoring some bounties to help push hashrate to mintpond.com and datapaw.com by sponsoring some additional XZC for blocks found.

Our first trial run with Datapaw has yielded decent results and he has found 4 blocks already! Mintpond's promotion will be up and running soon.

These 'subsidies' are generally a one time thing for each pool to help spread out the hashrate and get it moving from the large hashrate pools to a more fair distribution though we will evaluate on a case by case basis.

Also if you are a pool operator please do engage with us. We have a separate Discord channel for pool operators only so that we can coordinate on updates and announcements so that everyone can transition to new code smoothly.
Thumbs up for your initiative, but as I was expecting, just after the reward was paid, the hashrate at datapaw dropped from 1.2Gh/s to 400-500H..
And look at this guy, he is moving back to MPH.
https://twitter.com/glenn17x/status/946344856393097216

are we suppose to care that a nobody is moving back to MPH ?
No.

I was talking about almost 80% of hashrate moved from datapaw to MPH. That guy was just saying he was there for the reward.
Yesterday was above 1.3, right now is 200-250Mh/s. Maybe that's not much for you, but in my opinion, it'a about 1G of hashrate gone.

well at least that explains the huge drop i had
its still very low
back to zcoin i think

Yeah got more than 50% drop today.

What pool r u on for zcoin?

MPH
I recommend Datapaw or MintPond. Devs are supporting those two so hashrate could spread among all pools.
I'm mining to datapaw since 25th of December and everything is very good, hashrate showing on page is much better than the one MPH shows. I have friends who were mining at MPH and were complaining about reported hashrate, so you could give a try to Datapaw. Also being a small pool your round earnings should be good if you are patient.
Best of luck

Yea man, your absolutely right about that.
Here we're talking about nicehash leaving people to mine in external wallets until 0.01 payout and without prior notice, they say "we don't give a fuck about guys with external wallets, let's make them keep in internal wallets so we get hacked again and everybody looses" and moves the payout from 0.01 to 0.1 which is waaaay to much for most miners. Think that on nicehash are a lot of people which are mining casual, with 2-3 gpus that wait maybe more than a month for a payout... Maybe try to 0.02 or 0.05, no judge it's just my opinion.
And looking at people's comments over their news, they are complaining having more than 0.01 btc in their wallets for 3-4 days ago and still no payout was done..

I'm not a pro or a con to nicehash. I've been mining a lot with them, but I think they should focus on getting the money back and try to pay in altcoins, not to play with minimum payouts and coinbase stuff...
Wouldn't you be happy to be paid more frequently in altcoins? That's the case why most of nicehash user jumped to MPH.

Guys i am mining in datapaw.net but with 18mh from yesterday still didn't get nothing and just 1 block found...
Someone has some else pool to mine xzc?
I'm also mining with them. I think we should have patience and blocks will come. The hashrate si pretty high and pool says next block will be found in 28 hours.. which is about too much for 800MH/s pool hashrate.
I will keep my miner on this pool about a week and see how's going. After that, I might switch to suprnova.
Best of luck!

Hope they will die again and forever. They are scamming people. 0.1 is enormous for small miners and they did not notice in advance, or paying out now so people could move away from them.
I'm pretty sure they will not pay nothing on 31 January, it's just a game so they get more money and run away. I cannot belive how people are still trusting them after all of this... but then again, is just my opinion.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: New monero/xmr pool needs some miners! Send out a few H/s | Min. payout: 0.05XMR on: December 26, 2017, 01:50:37 PM
I'm thinking about mining on a new pool or on a big pool, mainly because I'm a low miner, with only 4500H/s.
What you say? It will be better mining on low and new pools, or stick to the big players?
Also, with my nvidia rigs, I'm trying to support new pools Smiley
Good Luck!
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sixth alt coin thread I forgot to mod last thread. on: December 06, 2017, 09:52:50 PM
You recommend a good XMR pool?
citronick, what are you mining right now with nvidia rigs and amd rigs? Sorry if you said it lately, but I was busy in the last few days and couldn't keep up with you guys Smiley
Thanks

I am at xmr.nanopool.org

It has global nodes and my XMR address for Binance exchange works too.

I am parking all AMD rigs there.

For NVIDIA rigs .... temporarily at xmr.nanopool.org until I find a better home for them.

Likely moving them both to MPH eventually because I can consolidate all XMR, ZEC, etc algo-mining rewards into any coin of my choice - BTC in this case.
Thanks for the info.
You don't trust the newly profitable coins at the moment? Mona, Vivo, Pirl or others?
In my case, I'm keeping ati to ubiq and nvidia to bitcoin gold, hoping to go up, like bch did after a few months Smiley

can you guys code some delay when the NHML starts before it tries to go online and get the profit..
it seems every single time my rig restarts its stuck on an error message saying it cant find the profit data..

You have a option is settings which you have to uncheck so that miner does not verify profit data at start.
Good luck!

O am inclusiv in browserul chrome si functioneaza foarte bine. Nici vorba de bani ramasi atarnati pe undeva sau ce ai mai citit pe net. Ia-l cu incredere si foloseste-l.
Bafta!

Phil.. what's your opinion about the lately drop in revenue on equihash? I'm mining also on nicehash and from about 8-9$ / day ( 6 x gtx1060 6gb) I get 5.5-7$ right now.
Also if I check Awesome miner, ZEC is dropped from 1.5$-1.6$ / card / day to about 1.05$. Why this sudden drop|?

Regards,
John

Hey guys,

I see that Groestl or DMD is more profitable than ZEC for Nvidia Mining? I must specify that my cards are 6 x GTX1060 6GB. Is that true?
What's your miner recommendation?

Also, the settings for cards could be the same as for equihash mining? Or it does better on high mem clocks and lower core (like eth)?

Thanks,
John

Yes. Copy entire configs folder.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Owners of GTX 1060, what is your hashrate? on: September 02, 2017, 10:09:37 PM
Try latest  version (10.0) He's saying he has improved hashrate for nvidia.
Good luck.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Fifth alt coin thread last four got too big. on: August 31, 2017, 12:23:50 PM
Quote from Antminer L3+ topic
Quote
So far we have 15k units in september 1-15 7.5TH/s

10k units in September 15-30 5TH
October 1-15 another 10k units 5TH
October 15-23 another 10k units 5TH
October 23-30th another 10k units 5TH
Current Network rate is 20TH
by end of october will be 47.5TH

so profitability will go to $13 per day still ROI of 100 days not bad (as long as LTC stays at $66)

If this guy is right, is useless to buy L3+ right now because when I will receive it everything will be changed a lot. What's your opinion?
Waiting for new releases from Bitmain? Because 1870 was a lot this night for a L3+ which I will be getting after two months.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Fifth alt coin thread last four got too big. on: August 30, 2017, 03:47:14 PM
citronick, where to buy L3+ in Europe? Any advise for fellow europeans about litecoin miners? Smiley Also, does it come with all it needs like cords, psu or something like that? Or I have to order separately?
Right now, as posted previous pages ago, I was only into GPU mining, but sincer you are talking about quick ROI on litecoin mining, is a good idea to invest in that for the moment and maybe later we'll see what nvidia has planned for us Smiley
Thanks

You can get L3+ direct from Bitmain shop - https://shop.bitmain.com/antminer_l3_litecoin_asic_scrypt_miner.htm

Bitmain is releasing a new batch of L3+'s (November shipping) on Aug 31 @ 11:00 (AM, Beijing time - UTC+8).
That means today for US people, Aug 30, at 23:00 (11PM) Eastern Daylight Time for the USA.

The last sale lasted less than an hour - so be ready and create your userid etc before buying online.

Or you can get from resellers like Eastshore company in China.

They are also sellers in ebay but to be honest do not use them if you dont know them personally.

They can either cheat you or sell it to you for 3 times or even 4 times Bitmain retail price.

The L3+ are quite a performer and enjoying good profitability currently so the perceived value of this miner is more than an ounce of gold literally. It will be difficult to find any sellers in open market.
There the price is 1370usd.
And for Europe is 2500euro. That much difference between US and Europe? Wtf?
Plus the PSU it goes to about 2750euro which is almost double the price US people get.
Maybe we have someone here from Europe which knows some better prices...

the dev team and the work they made so far are one big fat joke and only ignorant cant understand why this coin is dead.
GTFO please.
I'm really tired of your entire bullshit. I'm not a fan or a con of CHC, I mined it for a week and I'm following this topic. Just that.
For over 1 month or more, I've read your posts and I'm disgusted. Not because of your shitty posts, but of your insistence. If you see no one is taking your advice seriously, just please stop spreading shits.

Thank you.
Now bye!

I was researching the following schemes.... Masternodes, POS, Staking of coins, Dividends for owning shares/coins.

The ones that I have currently are PAY(TenX) and NEO/GAS - both rewards me in forms of GAS coins (NEO) and ETH for every share of staked PAY (TenX). Both are doing quite well and value has been rising handsomely.

I dont have to have a specific number of shares to qualify for these rewards.

Unlike masternodes, you have to have a certain amount to qualify to become a Masternode.

Staked coins or dividend paying coins are better deal.

Where do you exchange PAY?

Is it a safe coin to invest right now?
