Phil do you know if SMOS can run on 16gb usb or does it need something bigger ?

I’m running off of 8gb sticks

Yeah I  fucked up going back.

Since they claim new mining will be paid at the 0.1 threshold  I will push to that number.  Once the one account clears 0.1  I am done.

Yeah they shouldn’t have done the increase on outside wallets
I understand the network fee is high right now but let the seller make the choice of moving money

What I don’t understand is why have an external wallet?

 Mine to an exchange address counts as an "external wallet" to Nicehash - and you're not paying DOUBLE transaction fees if you do it that way.

All my GPUs and ASICs are mining directly to Bittrex - and I can turn on the "auto-sell" feature when the time is right. So far so good and will continue this until I get my money back from Nicehash on Jan 31st ~ about 0.2134 BTC

AMDs mining XMR
NIVIDIAs mining ZCL
L3+ mining LTC
D3s mining DASH
A741s mining BCH

If I provided you good and useful info or just a smile to your day, consider sending me merit points to further validate this Bitcointalk account ~ useful for future account recovery...

I have far too much tied up with nicehash.

and  since I don't have your hashpower

It will take me a while to clear nicehash funds.

I am at 0.0517

I won't be able to mine to 3 separate accounts  like I used to do.
This will make them not worth that much to me as it helped accounting a lot.

But with  13,000  + 13,000 + 3,000 sols  it would take to  long to ge to the 0.10 threshold.

I will be doing the 28-30k sols  at one account  once it pays me I will move to the next account.  Then to the third one after that.

I do not like having

 0.0760 = stolen total
 0.0517 = miner 1 total
 0.0171 = miner 2 total
 0.0105 = miner 3 total

at the moment the total is 0.1553  that is way more then I am comfortable with.

I was of the belief all 3 accounts were getting paid.

I have chased  that 0.076  with 0.079 in minings and  will add 0.0483 more

so  they could grab  close to 0.2036  if they are going to fail

I think this is a  pretty stupid move on my part.

Maybe I missed a reparations post about Nicehash, but if they are not somehow compensating people for all or most of what was stolen from their NH balances, then why on earth would anyone go back to pointing hash in their direction?

For me, once a company screws me (whether it was directly or indirectly their fault), I will never give them by business again... even if they have the best deal going.  Case in point with that piece of shyt Craptopia. About 2-3 months ago, somebody hacked my account there and it was 100% the fault of Craptopia as I had 2FA set for all types of transactions. Their first major point of failure was not blocking my account after at least 10 failed attempted logins. They claimed that someone must have hacked my email to delete the auto warning messages generated from failed attempts but i have proven this to be untrue. And, even aside from that, for sure after 3 bad attempts, the acct should have been auto-locked! I mean wtf!  almost every legit site does that, but oh no, not Craptopia.  2nd major point of failure was that once in, the hackers couldn't just withdraw my ETH & BTC, they proceeded to trade it all for LTC, then convert the LTC to some unknown shytcoin, then sell that off at 3% of what they bought it at to obviously another account they had control over.

bottom line is that neither of those things should have been allowed to occur but Craptopia has (or had) some of the shyttiest protection ever known to man, so I lost about $1,600 because of it.  further, it took over 3 weeks to even get the full story (and most I had to research), ending with some idiot CS rep making excuses for why they would not compensate me for their failings... quoting some obscure verbiage from their policy manual that essentially says they are not liable for any losses that occur, not matter what the cause lol. Yeah, Im sure all exchanges have something similar to limit their liability, but you don't see major players such as Coinbase or Bittrex pulling this BS. In fact, they have both gone overboard in awarding compensation to their customers for issues that arguable were more their customer's fault than their own.

Anyway, sorry for the rant... but bottom line, I will not touch Craptopia with a 10-foot-pool now. Not even to cash out my Electronium since thats the only place to do so at present. I will simply wait until another exchange lists it.

damn nicehash

I don't even know what to make of this from Ahashpool.  Legitimate error or possible scam.

Announcement: (2017-12-27 15:51 UTC) There is a recent surge of miners on XVG-x17. Unfortunately, this sudden overload caused the pool to mine on a diverged chain split. Upon reverting back to the main chain, the supposedly mined blocks have become orphans. Hence you will see a sudden drop in your unconfirmed balance orange line. Please understand that no one wants to see this happen. Both the pool and the miners lost money in this event. As compensation, pool will make fee 0% for the next 7 days.

 Mine to an exchange address counts as an "external wallet" to Nicehash - and you're not paying DOUBLE transaction fees if you do it that way.

When the new Coinbase integration is done, you can send your Nicehash BTC over to your Coinbase "external" wallet for free... then transfer to GDAX for free, then convert your BTC to LTC for free... then transfer out to another exchange (LTC has very low transaction fees) and go back from LTC to BTC at another exchange that has a low transaction fee to your true external wallet.  A lot of steps, but it keeps the fees down.

This also means that Nicehash is using Coinbase wallets this time around, as a Coinbase to Coinbase transfer is free... since it's all just a spreadsheet.  I kid about this part.

I recommend Datapaw or MintPond. Devs are supporting those two so hashrate could spread among all pools.
I'm mining to datapaw since 25th of December and everything is very good, hashrate showing on page is much better than the one MPH shows. I have friends who were mining at MPH and were complaining about reported hashrate, so you could give a try to Datapaw. Also being a small pool your round earnings should be good if you are patient.
Best of luck

Thats strange Phil -- each BTC address with balance at that moment when their hot wallet was drained - should be compensated.
I tracked my other past BTC addresses with NH (my kids gaming/mining rigs - 3 of them) and all of them have the we will compensate you statement ($82, $122 and $151)

NOTE: I reread your post - ok - you have a point - I think NH at this moment is heavily under pressure to compensate and that 0.1 threshold looks like a good compromise but will not be fair to some most. I think NH has a mountain to climb to earn back their reputation.

I am happy with the direct mining & auto-sell at Bittrex at the moment, I will only revisit NH when the dust settles and I get my money back - I am willing to give them a chance to make up of this mess (unlike the merciless GabryRox  Grin). NH should go back to payments every 4 hours with an alternative currency like LTC or DASH or even BCH (haters will bash me for this LOL).

@Marvell2
One of my group members has 39 x D3s, he is currently crying his heart out at the dark corner under the stairs in the living room.
My best solution for him is to mine at X11 at MPH and setting the auto-payout to LTC - and focus on ROI.
It will take a miracle to make any good profits for those X11 miners - greedy Bitmain has done injustice to the whole X11 community dumping X11 ASICs by the thousands into the market.
Hopefully there is a nice bump up soon with new X11 coins.

Bulwark was very profitable until a couple of days ago (roughly 12 coins a day - which was twice as much as on any Equihash coin) but the Nethash is very high now.

One nice thing about Nicehash... ease of use, nice interface and BTC payout upfront - no waiting for confirmation of various coins BS etc.

The site you mentioned probably better matched for MRR but MRR is highly matured site with a very large customer base - me included. Hard to beat MRR in my opinion.

NH to earn their reputation again -- needs to come clean and pay everyone whatever that was stolen - that gesture itself I think will give them a chance to come back on top again. The sad part is that NH is one of kind and the demise would be a big loss to the mining community esp for newbies.

Yeah... to be clear, I WOULD have given Craptopia another chance IF they would have done the right thing and at least offered my partial compensation for the losses I incurred due to their bad security. But the fact that they didn't offer me anything and portrayed a very callous attitude through the entire matter... making false assertions and trying to put all the blame on me, etc... that's when i said enough is enough. So, I take every chance I can get to blast those MFers and make sure everyone knows about it, in hopes that it will eventually cost them more in lost customers than what they should have returned to me ;-)
