I don't want to defend anyone, but they didn't scam you. They sold you x amount of pps, nothing more, nothing less. If you will break even - that is completely in hands of current XPM difficulty, your luck and price of XPM at the moment (which has dropped 2x in last week).
In their thread in this forum, many people provided calculations, including me myself, and they clearly showed how much you will loose at this moment if you buy that service. They in other hand are promoting idea of mining and hoping that XPM value will rise, they sell only pps not specific amount of XPM you will earn.
By the way - eCoinomist guide with using DigitalOcean will also make you loose money, XPM difficulty is very high now and there are no virtual servers that can make you break even by mining it.
Note: the very idea that they are selling pps instead of using it to mine XPM by themselves makes you think about profitability, doesn't it?

Vote on this +1 Ok there is premine, now we know about it, owners should take it back and give as bounties for pools and other things. Everybody will be fine with that. Or simply ask some developer to relaunch coin People who mined the coin through all problems and errors showed that they actually are interested in coin, and will be more gratefull if you relaunch or continue coin than if you simply throw it out. Exactly my point. He's a piece of shit and ruined something that would have been huge. We literally have 3 national gas stations waiting to sell me gas cards for gas coins. Now I get to ruin my in-person reputation with vendors we have been using for years, all because of a greedy piece of shit Maybe you are able to move on, get sources from r3wt, get other developer to adjust and launch coin again? Just thinking that this might be fastest solution and you will not loose community and gas stations. As we learned few days ago with neocoin, relaunching coin after problems make community feel good and continue support. |

Just to skew this topic back on coin not other things, as that discussion probably will not go anywhere (everybody already made their minds on which side they are on and which opinion is right, and most people will understand that problems where beta problems because of issues in team. and unless any of you start it again - people will be fine using this coin) Just tried and seems to be working fine both wallet and solo mining, got few accepted and confirmed and deposited blocks. So should be fine from now on, although we will need new pool  |

That blockchain link gives 404 error On other things, I do not know everything and I do not know what happened or didn't but I have two points: 1) Whoever you tried to harm with your move, you instead harmed whole community and you probably lost any rep with them. 2) If this whole thing is because of time for support - don't take job and money which you can't do 100 percent. |

You should start over, there is so much going back and forth that coin is basically destroyed.
I have downloaded many times, older, newer, even newer version, file names, conf file names are changing all the time.
Pool died, then went back and now it seems to be doing payouts for most people based on old block payout total. (It is giving me 0.00x coins, with current 3+ payout for block it doesn't seem right, as I was getting 0.00x when blockes were 0.064
On pool page, only few addresses appear in payout list, and I am not in that list (although I receive small payouts)
Which is all very strange because I have tons of full blocks when I am connected to pool
When I do solo mining, I get tons of blocks, but 80% rejects, 20% accepts, when I look in wallet "Transactions" only 5% are there, they stay with "?" symbol and later disappear.
You should either fix everything and relaunch coin, or put up information on first page to let people know what to do to make things right and which full zip to download. Probably you need to tell them to delete everything except wallet before trying again.
Client is acting weird too ... when it catches up and shows few seconds since last block all is fine, it constanly gets info on new blocks ... then at some moment it suddenly shows - last block 1 h ago and downloads something like 600 other blocks.
I think whole network is damaged and you need to fix this now with red messages on front page of this topic.

I use the second one, works fine for me, although "expected" is only approximate measure, this coin difficulty goes up and down constantly and for last day or so it is higher than usual. |

I actually love features on wallet only coin itself and release was kind of fail. Much hopes to get something great on second release, if it will go better I believe this coin will have future as features in wallet are awesome! |
