801  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the useful tips for beginners? on: June 21, 2018, 10:19:47 AM
Why should we must stay away from media just because of the possibility of fake news being spread? I think the media play a very important role in the movement of the value of cryptocurrency, indeed false news can be very impact in the market but we also have to clarify the news we meet, we also must be smart in exploiting the condition of the news effect, and also I think news is very meaningful in analysis I made.
802  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how often do you check BTC price and how to cope with stress? on: June 21, 2018, 10:14:02 AM
how often do you check BTC price and how to cope with stress associated with this?  I am checking it every few hours and it drives me crazy and makes me anxious. Is there anybody in a similar situation and how do you cope with this?

PS: I was trying to do this once a month, but I think, I missed the beginning of the bear market in January this year because of this.

Thanks,
Mike
I installed an app on my smartphone where it shows bitcoin prices on my homescreen, in other words I often see the btc price, even though I'm not so stressed, maybe because I do not see the whole crypto market, there are some crypto coins that I hold and in making the analysis I also do not often use the value of btc. when I'm stressed I just hear my favorite song and sleep, I also sometimes go to look for new atmosphere either to the beach or to the mountains so that the mood is always good.
803  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crash recoveries are not moons on: June 21, 2018, 10:08:19 AM
It's irritating to see people saying that after a 20% crash (which happened a week ago or so), that 1 or 2% daily recoveries is a good sign for the market. It's not.
Why are you irritated? 1-2% recovery is a good sign at least the red line does not continue, everyone can argue here. At least they bring positive things in the market, even though it's a small thing, after all many of us have their own opinions and analysis, do you is often get stuck in something like this, that is where it bit rise but the next day it falls bigger?
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using ETH for? on: June 20, 2018, 09:40:51 AM
What have you been using your ETH for?

For trading
To buy ICO
For long term investment
Other - explain
Most of the time I keep ETH for trading, many exchangers use ETH as a value for a token and in a transaction exchanger using a larger ETH although not all coins, when the market starts unstable and tends to decrease drastically that is where the ETH that I have used as a long term investment, but when the market has started good, ETH that I have used for trading.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS or ETH, which one is preferable?? on: June 20, 2018, 09:35:23 AM
In the current situation of better growth of crypto industry I want to make some investment.
But I really got confused when I am going to make the final decision. My mind is supporting ETH but my study suggesting to go for EOS.
I am just freaking puzzled to make the final decision.

Could you plesae suggest me one or both with percentage to make a fruitful investment??

Regards.
Why not 50% in ETH and 50% in EOS? I think this is pretty good if you have some arguments in both and confused should choose which, I choose ethereum, I'm not sure why because of my thinking that says it, it's been a few weeks that EOS has had a good growth especially in the growing community, and if you intend to invest it is better to choose EOS because the signal is more useful than mind.
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have $500 to invest today on: June 20, 2018, 09:20:14 AM
What's the best way to diversify starting with $500. I am overwhelmed right now with all the coins i am interested in. I'm just not sure if i should be only focused on the top 10 or can i pick xxx coin that's ranked between #40-#150. I can say i like about 15-20 coins/tokens i just feel that's way to many for $500. I would like to put half in blue chip coin and invest in some alts with the remaining half. I was thinking put $50 into 4 atls???
Idk man, i'm trying my hardest to figure this out. lol thank you for any help.
Many crypto users have the same problem with you, because too many cryptocurrencies become very difficult to determine which crypto will be invested, maybe my suggestion for investment is choose cryptocurrency wich more has a rising trend seen from the history of crypto value from month to month, currently being good in my opinion is EOS.
807  Economy / Economics / Re: A cryptocurrency with volatility can't be used as money on: June 19, 2018, 10:40:53 AM
I'm just reading an article in the newspaper. Klaus W. Wellershoff (a last chief in UBS Bank) says that's impossible to use a currency with volatility as money. If the value of the money decrease, that means the value of the merchandise decrease. For example : if you buy a flat with bitcoin and few years later the bitcoin value decrease... Your flat lose his value as well.

What do you think about this argument?
it seems like I've also read similar articles, where bitcoin can not be used as money. Fiat and bitcoin are two different currencies, the value of the fiat depends on the condition in each country while the bitcoin is different. if users are hesitant with bitcoin used as money, I think even though bitcoin is volatile but still worth make as money.
808  Economy / Economics / Re: Making crypto succeed in the real world? on: June 19, 2018, 10:21:11 AM
that was really hard if crypto are succeed in the real world, because not just only making the system but bitcoin have still many people that don't like and gov too, so merely crypto must remain in their place in the digital stuff thing
It couldn't be hard if the government will give interest towards crypto as to be consider another option of payment. But as it figured from the start, its totally just a digital form of currency and bringing it into real world might be it takes too many years. And those people who aren't in favor with these, will surely get into realization as of having importance of these in today's generation.
Would not be hard at all but of course they just would not want to make it come so easy like that. However, a whole lot will be changing over time anyway as reality starts kicking in, people start believing in its usage as a currency and the real life solution it offers as against the usual traditional currency, government will get to see that they have more benefit to derive in terms of growth while it goes hand in hand with fiat and all that will usher in some pretty good level of growth as time goes on.
Let's imagine if the government accepted and most people believed in crypto. I think some pretty big obstacles also exist, the unstable value will make people contra and I think the value is still easily influenced by the FUD, there will be some obstacles in building success in the real world, we do have to accept the hard thing to build success.
809  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin business success on: June 19, 2018, 10:12:00 AM
I;m interested, since bitcoin isn't that much widespread yet, how are businesses (that are directed towards bitcoin only) doing? Is it paying off or is there some serious profit involved?
I do not understand much about the business directed directly to bitcoin, if we look from the value and volatile, I think it will be difficult to build success, this is my opinion, honestly I have never interacted with a businessman or company that focuses on bitcoin other than exchangers.
810  Economy / Economics / Re: Why BTC is tremendously undervalued on: June 19, 2018, 10:06:52 AM
I understand your speculation. Look at the current market and we are in the red line, it is also because many have not been involved with bitcoin or other crypto, at least now I think bitcoin is still worth it because of some disadvantages owned. I just think users should better understand the potential of bitcoin.
811  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Straight HODL vs Trading on: June 18, 2018, 10:15:27 AM
What I mean by straight HODL is that your hold through the crashes and the rises until you inevitably cash our and by trading I mean that you hold for a few months and then sell into fiat and wait for the expected dip/recession.
What i've noticed over the past years is that if I was less greedy and just cashed out after a reasonable profit and then held until the inevitable crashed, I would have made much more money than if i just held or bought another coin.

An example of this is when I bought eth at 475 and sold at 1380.  Right after I sold I bought ltc at 230 thinking that it was gonna skyrocket after some of the money from the eth will flow back into the other coins.  The problem with that was that the entire market crashed and so if I were to just hold my fiat i would have been able to easily double my money.

Let me know what your guys's thoughts are on this.
I know and I think it's interesting but what matters in my opinion what the coin is going dip? and whether at the time we buy and hold it in the future will go rise? I speak in the period of 1 to 4 weeks. I think you also need to advise why after you buy ETH and sell it then you move by buying LTC, I think we can get some suggestion in choosing coin.
812  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best time to take profit in Trading on: June 18, 2018, 10:09:12 AM
Cryptocurrency Trading is fun and captivating especially when you are always up with profit no matter the situation of the market, of course who wouldn't be happy when you are successful in what you do?
In many situations we are confronted with the choices of should I exit the market now or should I stay, and swiftly as this may be decision need to be made fast to be able to keep up with a moving trade. For day traders avoid exiting the market when the chart is already down especially if you are not at profit, it is better to take profit when you are comfortably at profit even though the market is still green and wait for a next dip than waiting till market has gone against you and you are struggling with cutting off more loss.
What you say is true, the point is best to take some definite profits and leave uncertainty, but I think it also depends on the emotional traders condition, not infrequently some people take the risk by holding on the green line and get a big profit. If you look from two sides of view there will be other thoughts and paths as well as other actions.
813  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want to start trading on: June 18, 2018, 10:03:58 AM
Okay so I don't really have any idea which coin is which and which of those are good to trade and which are not.
Since I am currently enrolled in yobit campaign, I figured maybe I can do something profitable with the coins that I get from the campaign so I thought maybe I can start trading.
Do you guys recommend yobit in trading altcoins?
Also what coins do you guys suggest I trade? I want profits and not loses so any tips you guys can give me are really appreciated.
I feel you can do a little bit of analysis or something like that in choosing a coin because I think you have a lot of experience in cryptocurrency. I do not know what advice to give, but I think you need to join the trading signal group to learn some things about the trade.
814  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Insurance or cryptocurrency investment? on: June 18, 2018, 09:58:18 AM
Hi, I'm planning to pull my insurance to invest in crypto for long period of time and trade a portion as well. Recently, I was wondering if I let my money sleep in my insurance for 10 years it will triple but I'm also thinking that what if at that time the value of my money is still the same as today because of inflation.
I'm sure some insurance companies have their own advantages, so I do not know if it's better or worse if you keep your money in insurance, but in my view it's supposed to give a profit regardless of how big the company is. if you choose cryptocurrency I just think you need to know the fluctuating market situation.
815  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical analysis bullshit? on: June 05, 2018, 03:25:43 PM
I am not yet sure if TA actually works with crypto currencies.
I haven't had any success with pure TA so far. However fundamentals and news seems to do better job at predicting the price of a crypto.

Or Am I doing it wrong? I tried a simple RSI strategy to trade and it didn't workout well.

Should I even bother with technical analysis when it comes to cryptos?

I am a beginner in trading, but based on what I experienced up to now that news is more instrumental in helping me in buying coin, I used to do TA but all is almost wrong, I think it's because I'm new and cryptocurrency is fluctuating so the price is difficult in the guess.
816  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading was fun! on: June 05, 2018, 03:20:57 PM
Hello guys!

I thought this was never a fun experience when it comes to day trading. Despite the risk, I still find it a lot of fun. First, I try to be a "whale" to manipulate others to dump price by selling all of it. I was selling FAITH to BTC at 45 satoshi and successfully sold half of it.

I bought 277 and 754 FAITH at 45 and 47 satoshi, respectively, hoping that I could have an extra. Then, I decided to sell them all at 50 satoshi. As a result, I have successfully sold more than half of it at that price and I have a few more left before its sold out.

I'm doing this for fun, you know. At the same time, I got profits. However, there's no such thing as perfect day trading strategy. Perhaps, I'm just lucky.

The basics of buy low sell high at a right time. Win or lose, it was fun!
There are some people consider trading for fun some of the reasons so they are not so easy emotions and can get a lesson from what they experienced, there are also some people who take trading seriously because it concerns their money so that profits must be obtained either by analysis or luck, it's all natural because we have different thoughts.
817  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hello traders on: June 05, 2018, 03:17:09 PM
Some says that to be a trader is very risky, if it is really risky why there are still traders and more are becoming interested to be like this?  Anything that you can share and advice to a newbie like me is appreciated.
Because behind the risk there are advantages, even big profits. Are you also interested in trading, especially in cryptocurrency? I am also a beginner here I need a lot of knowledge from experts, but I suggest if you want to try trading, you must first understand the risks because many are losing in trading then they are trading even some say trading is a pyramid scheme.
818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying low-volume tokens? on: June 04, 2018, 10:55:14 AM
I noticed this phenomenon. Often someone buys up all the proposed tokens with a small amount of trading (for example, look at SMT on hitbtc this night), and after a few days these tokens go up in price very much. Is it worth buying such a token?
I do not know, but the risk is very great if you buy a coin that has a small volume, you know it may be a slow movement transaction and coin removed from the exchanger, maybe my opinion is wrong but I recommend to be careful.

820  Economy / Speculation / Re: SELL EVERYTHING!!!!! on: June 03, 2018, 01:31:36 PM
I started trading since 2017, I am quite helped with trading, I make a profit and also a loss, I know the losses that occur to me because of unstable market and some because of my mistakes, I do not think that trading is a pyramid scheme even I do not smell pyramid schemes, I think you are not used to the unstable market. The loss is really annoying but do not lose your brain.
