801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ripple gonna be the biggest ltcoin of 2018? on: December 10, 2017, 12:04:24 PM
I wonder how ripple will grow in 2018

It will not become the biggest coin. The bank and cryptocurrency world connection provides a cool stability for this altcoin, but it will be very inconvenient if Ripple costs too much. It will go up, but steadily, and do not jump to the Moon. IMHO
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2018 The year of the altcoin on: December 10, 2017, 11:59:42 AM
I think the x10 and x100's of several altcoins/platforms are to be seen in 2018

Enjoy the ride brothers and sisters

I would better say that 2017 was the year of Bitcoin, and 2018 will be the year of Ethereum, DASH and NEO. I am more than sure that these cryptocurrencies will start their race with the fastest speed that they can show.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To Make Money While You Sleep on: December 10, 2017, 11:57:16 AM
I understand that this is a kind of advertising here, but I would say that there are two other cool methods to earn when you sleep: to start mining using a big mining farm and to keep good alts and BTC in your wallet and wait when they grow.
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCH view on BTC at the moment on: December 10, 2017, 11:55:15 AM
So I wonder what the BCH camp is thinking about the BTC rise at the moment?

Although some guys here suppose that Bitcoin Cash will die as Bitcoin is rising very fast, I do not think so. The capitalization of this coin is too great, and it is supported by many users, especially Asian guys.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin or Monero on: December 10, 2017, 11:50:43 AM
Hi Guys,

I'm a noob to the crypto space but have some money in BTC and ETH, if you were going to get a 3rd coin would you go with XMR or LTC?  I like the anonymity with Monero but get worried that govts could intervene.....Leaning towards LTC.

Any help would be great, thanks.

I would also choose Litecoin, as I believe it has the better future than Monero. It lives longer, and it is fast. Here is the video that is about speculations on the theme of what to choose — LTC or Monero. It was made 3 months ago, but it gives cool ideas.

806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is ERC223? on: December 10, 2017, 11:48:23 AM
I read an article, and I see ERC233 but there is no detailed explanation. so what is the difference between ERC20 and ERC223 ?

The ERC223 standard introduces an interface for contracts that want to work with tokens. In this interface there is a token Fallback function, it must be called when trying to send tokens to the contract. When making transaction using transfer, you need adding additional information.

In ERC223, an additional transfer method is added which contains the data field - specifically for the transfer of additional information. However, the old transfer method is left.

Here the guy explains more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GS62VNyPVHs
807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Sound Money? on: December 07, 2017, 06:43:53 PM
Simple people that are not digging deep into blockchain technology can sure call Bitcoin money, as it can be exchanged for dollars and Euro. You can also pay with BTC directly for some services and buy goods online.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum at $1000 in Jan 2018? on: December 07, 2017, 06:41:26 PM
Since the beggining of the year, the price of Ethereum’s ether has rallied from about 8 dollar to a current price of over $450. This rally marks a 5000 percent year-to-date return on investment for ether (ETH) holders. (may be not 5000% but i cant calculate it now, i'm very tired) In the past month ether rallied by over  150$. At the end of the year it can be about 600-700 dollars.

Suppose it will not hit this target. Yes Ethereum is growing, and it will reach a thousand dollars mark, but it can happen later, not earlier than the spring comes. Now there is some problems with speed in network, hope everything will be ok...
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is buying WAVES? on: December 07, 2017, 06:20:26 PM
Hi All,

Now that BTG has completed, anyone buying waves? It's slightly higher today than it was yesterday but still worth buying.

How much will you be investing?

Smiley

I bought Waves before and now I am lucky man.  Grin I believe this growth will continue to make me happier. Now I am thinking about buying more Wave coins in the near future.
Actually now many coins are growing!

811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing $100 weekly on: December 07, 2017, 05:53:08 PM
Hey guys. I’m able to invest about $100 weekly. Could go $200 on certain weeks but only if it’s soemthing that’s about to sky rocket or something.

I was looking for some help as what is the best approach for someone who can invest this amount weekly. I know it isn’t much but I’d like to hold long term instead of expecting big returns right away

On my mind it’s better to choose between Litecoin and Ripple. These are quite well known, reliable currencies and have additionally not expensive coins. That’s suitable for money sum 100-200 dollars.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum at $1000 in Jan 2018? on: December 07, 2017, 04:36:44 PM
I'm planning to buy some ETH, will it hit $1000 in 2018?

Need your suggestions

I only know that Ethereum will grow and that’s enough for me to invest in it. Somebodies makes predictions until 2021. It’s just an entertainment for ordinary users and a tool for marketers.
813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves Price Soon on: December 07, 2017, 04:30:03 PM
Waves hit the record yet when the news about new decentralized platform were widespread. I don’t know if the growth will become continuous. I suppose so. We’ll see. This crypto looks quite fresh to make next records. NICE!!!
814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best crypto to stake? on: December 03, 2017, 04:02:25 PM
I'd like to get a crypto that I can stake for a decent amount of interest and which fits these criterea:

Doesn't have to have the client open 24/7.  I"m fine with leaving it running about 50% of the time.

purchasable on bittrex

I looked into buzzcoin but at 1200% the interest rate seemed perhaps too good for the coin to be sustainable, and I couldn't find it on bittrex.   Thanks!

It depends on what you are going to do — to risk and invest into minor altcoins that are not known but which can rise to the Moon (probably) or pick stability. In second case I would recommend ETH and Litecoin.
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ark a shitcoin? on: December 03, 2017, 03:45:16 PM
Ark is a crypto that will allow interoperability between different blockchains (this basically means that different chains can send information between each other). Example: Ethereum communicating with Monero.

Currently they have developed this already for Ethereum. The Ark blockchain is able to communicate with Ethereum's and vice versa via smart bridges. After talking to the devs, they say that Bitcoin is also coming soon.

Ark is also developing a VM which will allow for smart contracts to be deployed on Ark.

As someone who is heavily invested into Ark it would be nice to get the communities opinion on whether this is a shit project or not.

No Ark cannot be called a shitcoin as it is a cool project. This company that has 30 years of experience specializes in investing in a great variety fields. They always offer breakthrough ideas that have a significant impact on the development of their industry. I see Ark coin also has a good dynamics.
816  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Big Banks are so Nervous About Bitcoin ? Why ? on: December 03, 2017, 03:37:36 PM
there would be less depositors because some are investing to the world of bitcoin..it has a big value and somewhat promising and many people like business minded would choose to buy bitcoins because of the opportunity to earn more.

I think it is obvious. Who will like it, when the situation turns like this: you stop getting commission. Bitcoin and all alts are decentralized cryptos, they do not need any help of any bank. Thus, guys, who are used to get great income through bank operations are very nervous.
817  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon to accept Bitcoin? on: December 03, 2017, 03:33:34 PM
If this happens, it's definitely a big change. Because many people know bitcoins and of course they know how to earn it and how to change their lives because of it. And yet it will affect the price of bitcoins there may be a fall and increase that often happens here so this is what we should prepare.

I suppose now more marketplaces, stores, restaurants and cafes will start taking Bitcoin. People will understand that they can make additional profit when getting BTC. This crypto is growing, and their income will also grow.
818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investing for the long term in an altcoin is good idea? on: November 30, 2017, 07:07:56 PM
The idea of long-term investment will bring you the most profit. Today it is not worth making short-term investments. I would buy now Ethereum, DASH, Monero and LTC. I think Ripple will be rising constantly. EOS is also good, although its capitalization is not greet.
819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think is Bitcoin become legal in all countries? on: November 30, 2017, 07:02:50 PM
If Bitcoin becomes legal in most of the countries (I doubt it will be legalized in ALL the countries), taxes for it will appear and commissions for transactions with Bitcoin will rise. However, it may happen if governments confirm that bank system is too weak and not reliable.
820  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's profit on: November 30, 2017, 06:31:40 PM
I think it is not correct to compare the profit from Bitcoins with the profit that drug dealers have. Probably those, who deal with illegal drugs and guns earn much more, but they bring people death. Bitcoin brings freedom and gives us the great chance to start the better living!
