801  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tradingview 2014 bubble forecasters on: July 14, 2014, 10:02:50 AM
Yea, but media on the low prices definetly wasn't bullish, so this should resemble to general bitcoin investor also.
802  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tradingview 2014 bubble forecasters on: July 14, 2014, 09:53:04 AM
Seems that all TAs show that a bubble is emerging soon. But I ask, if everybody expects a bubble, could it not happen only because of that?

There is really a majority thinking that the next one is coming very soon, which was not the same at all before previous bubbles.  Roll Eyes

Exactly. I could bet nothing will happen until everybody turns bearish.

Yea, but we already were at this "everybody bearish" level with china shit and $400 and sub level.

804  Economy / Speculation / Re: This Bitfinex Credit Bubble cannot end well on: July 13, 2014, 10:36:16 PM
Ever day after 21th there will be a small dump because of daily btc to usd swap. I am dumping right now first 200BTC

This dump will be sub 50BTC which is meaningless.
805  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 13, 2014, 05:23:12 PM
Look at the dumptards go!

Can you blame them? More and more people are starting to realize that next bubble simply isn't coming. I too hate to see these dumps but at some point people are gonna sell. And every day it becomes more clear that there won't be any rockets or trains.

Planning to sell?  Shocked

The next buuble simply is coming, the only question is how fast and how high  Grin

Pic or didn't happen.
807  Economy / Speculation / Re: oh no another fake pump. on: July 11, 2014, 09:27:13 PM
Here we go , lets go to 640 and hit back to 610.

Maybe, but time will come when this will be the last pump - without dump.  Grin Grin
808  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 11, 2014, 09:25:38 PM
I wonder how the guy that sold a good bit yesterday feels now that we are $25 higher and still moving.

he might be the whale that market buys us into a fat rally. Smiley

A few market- watcher type mainstream press articles mentioned $636 as a turning point so something might happen there and this looks like it has enough legs to go through that. Seems to steady for a pump and dump and it wouldn't make much sense during a weekend when fiat cant get to the exchanges unless its going to go on over the weekend.

The ones that wants to buy has already money on exchanges. They just have their fingers on the trigger. Do you think that whales decide to invest and deposit cash based on $20 rise and because it is weekend he must wait. They are watching and waiting with cash.  Wink

Hoping for a nice Saturday. This is a choo-choo friday Smiley

Anyone buying?

I remember a wonderful prebubble Saturday morning in October when we went from around $140 to $168 in the evening, great memory Grin Hope tomorrow we will wake the same, although Saturdays are generaly boring days.
810  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 11, 2014, 02:01:28 PM
So this was news based?
Just once I would like to see a pump on no news :c

No need to follow news, just follow charts, so todays news didn't matter at all (we had much better new without much rise).
811  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 10, 2014, 12:57:57 PM
This little dump doesn't effect my current anlysis. We are still right on track:
(...)
short term, we see a downwards trending triangle. If we break to the UPSIDE, this will be very bullish and push us above the 654 USD fibonacci retracement:
(...)

This is basically all i read here every day for the last 2 weeks. People dumping and not to worry because we will go up.
It's starting to look silly.

I truly hate to sound like Tera but i have to be realistic. For weeks all we see are people dumping. There is nothing bullish about this. Really nothing. The ask side is getting bigger by the day.
I don't care about trend lines and past bubble behaviour. All i see is the current situation and nothing points to Bitcoin going up. Let alone another bubble.

i'll revisit my position if we go break this triangle to the downside and sell a lot if we go below the next fibonacci retracement at 534 USD.
But for now, I think it's just stupid to dump. Good news ahead (ETF, a lot of new companies in the bitcoin space and maybe ebay/paypal accepting bitcoin. I wouldn't be surpised if it happens in Q3!)

Why the hell would you sell if we get below 534 USD considering all the good things you quote?

it is called risk management, not everyone on this thread got in when Bitcoin was few dollars, some has paid $600-1100, others has lost most of their savings with gox, others still hold to a couple of Bitcoins, now try to convince these people about calming down if we go to $400 or less.

I just want to point out something, people who have access to critical information are selling and investing in other businesses
, a person would think why the fuck would they sell and invest in a business that could return only %10 and not leave it in Bitcoin if the "bubble is close", they could make 10 times more, but the answer is simple, there will be no bubble, at least not any time soon, and they are doing their risk management moves...

812  Economy / Speculation / Re: Only one winner for the 30k BTC from the auction! on: July 01, 2014, 10:03:08 PM
How come the market hasn't crashed?  I thought the winner was going to instantly dump the coins?   Roll Eyes

Yeah LOL!!! He would dump the coins because he needed the money!!!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Wait for a few minutes, exchanges require 3-6 confirmations.
814  Economy / Speculation / Re: what will price be on August 1? on: July 01, 2014, 04:40:44 PM
Seriously now, August might see 680. But anything more is insane.

Isn't anything more than $700 insane for you for this year? Please, $680 can be broken today not in august. There are many many buyers waiting on the side to buy when prices start to increase.
815  Economy / Speculation / Re: NEWEGG ACCEPTS BITCOIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: July 01, 2014, 01:11:43 PM
Coinbase also sells BTC so they are not selling so muuuch on exchanges anyway.

Hmm, 7k slope now and bitfinexs data on bitcoinity is acting rather strange. Any reason to suspect bitfinexs credibility?

I saw some odd chart behaviour earlier today as well. Figured it was just a glitch. This seems strange though.

This doesnt appear to be a glitch. Very odd. One party has added around 7,000BTC to the asks on Bitfenix. That makes that the highest ask sum on BFX for 6 weeks (Last time it was higher was second week of May)

And, the bid sum is at the lowest since it's been recorded (4mos)

Huobi is also very bearish right now with 3k asks already coming up since the spike. Bitstamp is the only exchange that is acting normal.

This wall was created by one whale and is nothing meaningfull - will be removed when we go higher. You need only 2k coins and margin to do that. Nothing spectacular.

If this is the case, shouldnt it be visible somewhere in BFX stats? Also it doesnt make much sense for it to be split up in 200 asks if its a margin thingamabob from my understanding.

What stats? Orderbook are stats. This whale previously had 3 large walls, then he created this artsy slope.
