Great to see u online, but we need answer for some important questions:

1) as u see more attacks detected, how u want solve this thing? we cant withdraw our coins and stake
2) it would be rly nice to have u on irc, for some reason we have this channel right?
3) u say u work on new client, how this client change current situation? any ETA for this thing?
4) like someone said twitter is pretty much inactive

We all understand that current situation isnt easy but we invested some $$$, some ppl more, some less. Dev team isnt just dev, its also PR thing. When u are active in social media/irc, it rly help us to keep price even while we have such bad time. We try to calm each other but we also keep look on charts.

Hello Mate,

Thank you for your patience at this time of mayhem , the Foundation is in discussion with the Exchanges in order to get things in the right direction and help with withdrawals.

Currently the new client is complete and I'm doing a few tests on that you can participate in the tests by pointing your rigs to :63.165.243.110:33333

Code:
minerd.exe -a x13 -o http://63.165.243.110:33333 -u username -p password -t 10

I will inform the Foundation to do the necessary PR work , as I'm the developer here and would be always online to assist you guys with anything related to technical issues.

Eastbay, you said yourself that you bought a couple BTC worth of Navajo at 800 set that hardly sounds like you're going broke also you sound like you're a very pessimistic and negative person maybe if you spent half as much time promoting this coin as you do fudding it all our problems would be solved,#end rant

I did support this coin, harder then im complaining now, and put faith in this dev to release anon on time as promised, and all those i told to buy became victims of this scamcoin, IT's SAD, and devs have not done anything to ease the concerns of the commuinity. FACT. they didnt do anyhting to stop double spend, they prob wanted to keep it hidden on bittrex so they could do it on Poloinex, all devs actions point to SCAM and hes guilty until proven innocent

Get your facts right mate it is the devs and the NavajoCoin foundation released the first statement regarding this attack with all the information.

Get your fucking facts right!

~SoopY~

ONLY AFTER BITTREX DISABLED MARKET HAHAHA U FAIL AGAIN, THE SCAM IS STRONG IN THIS ONE

Obviously because it's that they are the one's who got targetted and informed us about the same , why not for a change act like a gentleman and talk like a man?

1. What happened on bittrex,  in details..and what dev tim did in that situation..?
2. Is there another risk of another attack?
3. Anny progress in annon?
4 .Teem must be more transparent in those situations or fud will destroy coin..

Please refer back a few pages for updates , I'm working on the needed fixes on the wallet the SUM2 Foundation should talk to you I suppose they are still not online.

We will start running Anon testing right after we are stabilized with the situation, in the view of the current situation I'm looking forward to increase security on the test coin as well as the Navajo Anon Beta Network.

The team is more than transparent here mate , we have announced everything on the thread.

NAV wont see anymore of my btc until they prove there actually working on anon features, after all the hype and the result is a double spend attack, this isnt looking good  Huh no FUD just fact, investors are scared and if your not you should be imo

EDIT: looks like the NAV FOUNDATION FUND account has been cleaned out also...

NAV Foundation FUND is handled by the foundation and if you have any concerns please pm the SUM2Dev account regards to the same.

It's a one off attacks mate and it can only be attempted once for the time being , since the network only stakes at a particular interval.

Currently there is no forking , you should all follow the block explorer to verify the block heights you are all in.

Keep your wallets staking and solid fix is on it's way.

I do not have an honor for a lying flakey dev why should I? So far he has not delivered anything except a proposition for anon transactions with a markup of a windows wallet. Yeaaaaaa....

What is the problem with you dude? come out with facts or just keep quite? Smiley

Nothing on the NavajoCoin road map will change and things will be laid out in front of you as they were in the original plan.

A few of my Previous Announcements to clear out any doubts people might have , we are being very honest and upfront with you and share every piece of information we have with regards to the same.

Information shared by Bittrex , this is not a fork guys but a double-spend attack so to seem , the attacker had created a transaction within a private network and had moved the coins within 6 separately created blocks thus bypassing the 6 confirmations check at Bittrex end and they had allegedly dumped the coins for BTC and withdrawn the same and while the network reaching that block had orphaned it thereby the Bittrex wallet being short of the 937620 coins.

We have further requested information if and how this attacker might have dumped the coins and to what extent and we are to receive information on the same , currently the foundation has decided to hold all releases till this issue is sorted to the dot.

Bittrex is currently requesting us to help them recover 937620 NAV's , which the NavajoCoin foundation is working out strategies on how to overcome this issue and will further share more information related to this matter shortly.

We are currently in discussions with Bittrex in rectifying this situation in the best possible way for all parties , to be sure and to be on the safe side there will be an updated client released in the coming days with a hardfork expected to be completed asap.

It was a great day and would have been all so perfect , sadly guys I'm very sorry to hear about this and to be honest with you did not expect this coming and I'm still with you guys trying to resolve this even at 5 am over my end.

We are working on an updated mandatory client and generating the same amount of coins lost by Bittrex and replacing them the same through this update.

NavajoCoin Foundation

If some of you are worried that Bittrex will delist Nav , please do not be , they are working out things with us in good faith and look forward to resume services related to Navajo asap.

And we are doing everything our power to fix this matter asap , so rest assured you can have total faith in Navajo , the developer and the Foundation and we are going to come out of this stronger.

Dumpers can dump , buyers will buy , but the Developer or the Foundation will never back down from the coin that's my word.

The problem is the man making double spend attack owns more than 51% STAKING COINs.

he withdraw some BTC (value of 900k NAVAJO), and the ledger on bittrex is short of that amoutn NAVAJO. buyers on bittrex bought figure from the dumper.

so. two ways:

1. someone donate that amount to BITTREX
2. Hardfork with increased amount.

either way to cover the amount of 900k

but the attacker still hold a large amount of NAVAJO. no way to invalidate his holdings.

the problem is most of us putted NAVAJO on exchanges rather than in wallet to stake.

The Attacker has already dumped that 900k so actually no has those coins mate so in reality Bittrex is short of 900k worth of Bitcoins to say wisely.

Yes we can replace that amount using a Hardfork.

937620 coins at the current rate of 1000 sats = 9.376 Bitcoins. Bittrex is such a big exchange with thousands of bitcoins worth being traded daily. Why the fak are they crying about such a small amount of BTC and did not solve it internally with the developers Huh Didn't even need to bring this to public and make such a huge fuss. Shit happens sometimes and what is the name of such a big exchange worth if they can't handle such a meagre issue quietly Huh F****n beggars Angry

BECAUSE THEY THINK THE DEV's STOLE THE COINS, PRETTY OBVIOUS!

hey devs i think its time for you guys to step up and show the community what you've been working on, so far it looks like you hyped some non-existent ANON features and used the hype to create volume to cash out on your double spend attack

Arm mate for someone to launch a double spend attack they gotta to have a ton of coins a big portion of the pie of the network , none of the members of the foundation nor the developer has such amount of coins so it was a whale that might have initiated this.

With vulnerability like this - this coin doesn't have any chance.
Fuck it. I had high expectations with this coin.

The question is - are all PoS coins vulnerable to double spending like Navajo?

The More coins one person holds the more control they will have on the network.  Sadly!
