Can the the dev/someone address what is needed to prevent further attacks?
I guess staking will prevent the same attack, but how do you monitor that?

I am not sure why a coin needs a fork to produce a relatively small number of coins.
Treating a coin as a money printing machine seems to be self-defeating in the long term.

"We are working on an updated mandatory client and generating the same amount of coins lost by Bittrex and replacing them the same through this update."

From the dev's last update.

Why was there no question about whether this was a good idea? Was a call for donations even tried?

It's a one off attacks mate and it can only be attempted once for the time being , since the network only stakes at a particular interval.

Currently there is no forking , you should all follow the block explorer to verify the block heights you are all in.

Keep your wallets staking and solid fix is on it's way.

and that there's actually anon features being developed... thats what we all really want to know... NAV wont see anymore of my btc until they prove there actually working on anon features, after all the hype and the result is a double spend attack, this isnt looking good  Huh no FUD just fact, investors are scared and if your not you should be imo

EDIT: looks like the NAV FOUNDATION FUND account has been cleaned out also...

NAV Foundation FUND is handled by the foundation and if you have any concerns please pm the SUM2Dev account regards to the same.

So many people around here don't deserve to make a red cent off this guy's hard work......patting him on the back when all is going good, one bump in the fricking road and you slander him to death.  The only thing I can't stand in this crypto world is the damn winers and rude ass people!

Man, if I could slap somebody through my monitor........my hand would be broken today!

Soop......you keep doing your thing man, those of us that support and believe in you will continue to do so through the good, the bad and the HORRIBLE.........oh, and on the way to the moon too:-)

as far I understand there has been some dublication attack to Bittrex. So the attacker had one time 900k and duplicated this in an internal network. In my point of view this is a Bittrex fault, because of to less confirmations?

I think they should pay out BTC and not NAV.

jzst my 2 cents

Get real! You want him to proceed with the beta test on a test coin while trying to fix the issues on the current coin? How on earth is he gonna manage both at the same time? So the beta test will be delayed a few days, big deal
