Why you aren't you launching this saturday night?
Would be a good day to do it since everyone is off work and people can stay up late to be able to get ready at launch ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Is there anyone here that uses Tor?
And if so, can someone teach me how to use it properly?
No drugs or shit like that.

Cant remember what day or time i registered on, might have been first day hmmm, is there a way to know without having to scroll back through and checking manually?
The bot should have sent you pm via sign up. Check the date and time you received the pm unless its deleted.. I never got a PM, but I am still in. EDIT: I should receive payment within the next 2 hours. Will post when that happens ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Hey Bitcoin talk.
So... As the title says.. How did you get into this wonderful world?
I made my first investment back in November 2013 into Goldcoin. I invest around 20$ of BTC into it, and I managed to pump the value of it from 0.0053$ to 0.18$ that I sold at. Which gave me 666.666$ profit... Such a funny number when you think about it! xD
It was not my intention to pump it like that, but I had no knowledge of the cryptoworld.
I was argueing with some users from the GLD community and I was pissed, so I sold out and the days after it crashed hard in price.
I was hooked when I got that big of a profit.
Thats how I got in.
What about you?
~Hamuki
When the price was crashing on Mt. Gox, I bought in another exchange at around the same price as today (~$250). I then bought a few S1 AntMiners and been livin' it ever since; best buy I ever made. I bought in at $150, $250, $550, $700, $850, $900 and still profit today; if you want to make some money you'll make some if you try ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) However, I don't need to buy coins anymore, I can mine them as much as I want and my 5TH/s mine was made from nearly free money. I have yet to cash anything out but I have a quite well padded crypto portfolio. Soo... plz gimme some of dat money on some miners xD Well, I must say its the best story I have heard here ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Good luck in the future.

Hi everyone,
I have a GAWMiner Falcon and War Machine for sale. I can do $8/MH shipped. So it'd be $216 for the Falcon and $432 for the War Machine.
I also have 3x AntMiner S3's for sale - make offer on those.
If you have any questions, let me know. I can provide pics on request!
Where in the world is the miners located? I might be interested ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

In the end it is totally up to you, I am not going to make the decision for you but here is an analogy for you;- If that wallet was a car it has a long history of blowing up and killing everyone inside. If you would buy a car like that, go ahead, but don't come running to me when you are all exploded and dead ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) . Ill take the chance. You aint living if you arent taking risks! xD #YOLO.. I might switch to something else later on... ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

A friend of mine sent me some bitcoins as my birthday gift in late 2012. And now I'm addicted to it. The best birthday gift ever ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) How many did you get? And did you keep them or did you sell out before December 2013? ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

Hmm... Heard of it from my brother who mined it back when you could make more than nothing from your personal computer ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) But I didn't get into it until a few years down when i decided to research it more heavily myself. Then I decided it was worth spending some money and time on and so far it's been amazing ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) So... Your brother is rich now, or made a good amount of money.. Or did he sell it all back when it was worth next nothing and jumped off a bridge in december 2013?

Well, I dont think that the intention of BTC was to be for the whole world to use it as currency, but rather to have it to run on the internet and small shops around the world for the "nerds" and computer geeks using it. AKA us ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) I'm pretty sure that's NOT what Satoshi envisioned when creating Bitcoin. Bitcoin is not able to handle more than 100 million transactions pr day. So if that was the vision, then it was created the wrong way. Obviously it was made small at first, and then meant to grow. Look at the proposal by Gavin (yes, it's that discussion again). The block size thing? I would support it aslong as a transition can be made safely. Think if something went wrong O_O

How secure is this wallet if you look at others like coinbase or my normal QT wallet. Check out this https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-walletA LOT of thought goes into reviewing those wallets to be included in the bitcoin.org website (that is the "official" bitcoin site). To be fair though, perfect security is very hard to achieve (if not impossible) and all implementations have drawbacks. If you click on the wallets you will see their pro's and con's. Have a good browse and make an informed decision that is right for you. I just dont get this... Lets say I keep using the blockchain wallet... Why should anything happen? Or is it a hacking attack I should be in fear of?

https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin.org/pull/663^^ That is a long list of reasons that your wallet is not as secure as you may think. It was generated with there was the unanimous dicision bit bitcoin developers to pull it off the bitcoin.org official site. Still keen on using it? Wait... What O_O How secure is this wallet if you look at others like coinbase or my normal QT wallet. What would you suggest? I want to have my coins with me. (On phone, Tablet and computer)
