I'd sell ASAP at that price, not sure if you're expecting higher?  I second that sentiment. When I first saw that I was taken aback but then again it’s been a while since one last sold on here. BTC has been pretty turbulent as of late but that’s as good an offer as you’re going to get IMO so I’d accept if I were you. |

One could suggest a safety deposit box in the bank but at the end of the day, you shouldn't trust anyone with your money. I'd keep it at home. Ledger nano S is safe enough and If it works like Trezor, If someone try the wrong PIN multiple times, the device will get wiped out so no one get access to the funds and as for the paper wallet, just encrypt it (strong password) and then print it, don't be paranoid.
The ledger is great but what happens if someone finds your recovery phrase just lying around? Your ledger could wipe itself but you'd still lose all your coins. The recovery card is basically a paper wallet in itself. I personally wouldn't put them in a safe as doing so would just bring attention to the fact that you've got something in there clearly worth storing. I'd say you'd be better off hiding them in plain view... |

Hey, I was working on a form of physical storage for Garlicoin following its release, but seeing as I don't have the time to continue to pursue it, I feel like sharing it here is the only right thing to do. Due to the nature of the card (small detail/print), some standard printers won't be able to bring out all the card details but there are some that might (I've been told that the higher end ID card printers would). I opted to go for a small denomination of GRLC but feel free to change it as you please. (I have attached a download link to the ai file below). I feel like its a shame to let this go unused so low and behold, I present to you all... The Garlicard! The inner lines on the reverse and obverse are meant to serve as guides for the key placement (private and public) whilst the outer lines/borders are meant to help the placement of a scratch off panel and clear plastic sticker for the public key/QR code. There is a standard square hologram scratch off panel available cheaply online that fits the card well. Feel free to post any questions, hate, love or both. If anyone does go about making some of these for themselves then I'd love to see a picture or two (the ones I printed didn't come out 100%). Here's a mockup for reference. Tricky situation you’ve got yourself.
The Cas singles demand a decent premium (above peel value) due to the high demand.
The 5’s are popular too but you can expect there to be a smaller pool of potential customers. As such, expect premiums to differ somewhat. Most collectors don’t give much attention to the random forked coins on there and don’t value them much, therefore, when deciding on a premium, little attention is paid to the forked coins values (seeing as most collectors won’t be interested in buying to peel).
That said, you may be able to find a premium a little above FV although by how much I’m not too sure.
Your best bet would be to start an auction at FV (with all the forked coins) and see where that takes you.

Sorry my offer wasn’t serious enough for you to even muster a reply.... how about you let us know what you’d like to get for your coin. I understand I’m new on here, but I just don’t understand why you don’t either auction them or put a number on them? This whole make me an offer thing just so you can hand out snide comments when they are not to your liking seems like an absolute waste of time and kind of uncalled for. I’m not trying to be a d**k but that’s how some of you über eliteists treat us new guys for not knowing as much as you. How about helping educate?.... god forbid you share some of that knowledge! Just my two cents.
Firstly, I have stated some fixed prices for a number of the coins that I’m selling. There are a few, however, that have not had any comparable sales on the forum as of late, making pricing them a little difficult. Asking for offers is the best way to go about selling them, as an auction could result in the coin being undersold (as per my personal expectations). If I were to place a fixed price on said coin (which could be a lot higher than most would be willing to pay, I wouldn’t get any serious offers at all). That leaves me with little choice other than allowing users to make an offer. I’m not selling as if this was a clear out, but rather, selling if the price is right. With regards to the coin you were after, your offer (at the time) was 1.3 LTC (equivalent to $286) which is a little over a $20 premium given the coin is graded (not to mention the MS-67 for an ‘early’ grading score). At the last auction for a similar coin (MS-67), LTC was at $320 a piece and the coins sold for 3.5 LTC each. I hope that explains why I felt your offer didn’t warrant a reply. I understand there may be a little confusion and misunderstanding especially with new buyers (we were all there once) but a little bit of research is somewhat expected too. Hope that clears up any doubts. So by that logic, all loaded coins that where sold when BTC was 20k should still have that value right? even tho BTC has gone down? This is BITCOINTALK not USDtalk, so why are you even taking into accountant USD : No. My point was clearly meant to illustrate that even when BTC was at a higher value (in terms of USD), high premiums were being paid, and now, following the decrease in USD terms, the offer didn’t even cover the same crypto premium. Pretty simple to understand. I’m not focusing my price on the USD aspect but rather demonstrating what kind of premium I would expect (in LTC terms). Instead of continuously *attempting* to troll on threads here, perhaps go about sorting your own sh*t out. I like how the not USDtalk comment comes from someone who bases their auction on USD prices and clearly states in their auction terms that: If BTC goes up between the time you send the BTC and the time the raffle goes off, you get a refund. If BTC goes down and the auction if filled you are required to pay more so your total spot per ticket equals $9.5 |
