Unfortunately I did my transfer yesterday afternoon, which apparently means that I won't get the dividend.  Sad And I have a decent amount of shares, so the dividend isn't trivial. I feel like this information really should have been communicated better. I don't think it is fair that shareholders do not receive their dividend payments from transferring over their shares. Even in limbo, the shares have value. Ken or the 'unlimboed' shareholders should not pocket the dividends from the people that are trying to transfer shares. I'm usually not much of a complainer but this is frustrating to me. My btc is being used for the company, I should receive the benefit from the investment I made.

You are taken care of.

I know we've PM'd a bit, Ken, but when do you think you'll get to pushing my shares back to my account?

Everyone should be fixed now, starting to work on the dividends.

PM me if your shares are not fixed and you tendered before 19:00 UTC today.
802  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: July 11, 2013, 09:01:54 PM

Thanks so much for fixing this for me Ken. And you are exactly right, even with the dividends as small as they are, it's a pretty decent return compared to other investments.

 Cheesy

Hold on, it is going to get a lot better.
803  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: July 11, 2013, 07:40:31 PM
The dividends will be shit anyway.  Last time I got paid about $25 for having 200,000 shares.  Dividends are pointless anyway until something actually happens with this company.. so why do people care so much?

Yes these are low as we are starting up.  However this is still 13% APR at the Initial IPO price.  Then, with that return you have a chance for a lot bigger returns in the future.  Now with Active Mining that goes up 4X to ~52% APR.

Are you sure you have 200k shares? Are you sure it isn't more like 2, and you're just posting here to disrupt the thread and throw insults? Care to prove you have 200k?

I sold almost 70k yesterday after I freaked out on Ken, so now I have 131,466 shares.
You can see my bitcoin address listed on bitfunder: 17MgYS26MFiPB5gi7z3TqrbHETKXqap4mN
if you give me your address I can send you .000001 btc to you from that address to prove it's me

Smiley
Save your money, your holdings are nobody's business but your own.
Or just sign a message with the address... :-D

All Bitfunder transfers through 19:00 UTC today have been completed.

Nobody's gotten anything yet, don't leap to conclusions that you'll be screwed out of your dividends. You people are so panicky sometimes! Give it a few days at least.

Yes, I agree, I don't want to profit from this.  However, it is a manner of logistics.  I will try and push the shares back to your account so you can receive dividends.
807  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: July 11, 2013, 04:37:24 AM
Cross Post from the AMC Thread

Everyone should be transferred through the dividends cutoff time of 1PM CDT.  If you are transfering on
Bitfunder or if you are on BTCT.CO and transfering to Bitfunder ActiveMining then all these should be done.

Please PM me if you have not received your shares in the above cases.

Those on BTCT.CO that have tendered their shares are in a holding bin until we can create a asset on BTCT.CO and
get approved.  If you would like me to push your shares back to you please send me a PM.

Clearly ken's response means that he does not plan to pay out dividends. Oh well time to see what effect this has on the stock price.

The main problem is that there will be little to no accountability on whatever happens to these pre-order sales figures.

I plan on pay dividends and a lot of them.  I want to make all the Investors in AM very successful, because if the Investors are successful I will be successful.

Sorry my statement was unclear. Obviously you intend to pay out dividends.

What I meant to say was that you are not going to be factoring the pre-sale revenue into the dividend payout.

We will factor in all profits from sales and mining into the dividend pay-out.  We plan on give very detailed reports also.
810  Economy / Securities / Re: [AMC]-The Official Active Mining Cooperative Discussion on: July 11, 2013, 03:18:20 AM
I did yesterday morning and pm'd him again this afternoon. I'm anxious, heh.

edit: got them now! Thanks, Ken!

Sorry, for taking so long.

Ken, I think we would like a direct answer on this.  That link is an insult to those who raised the question.

Sorry, I did not mean to insult anyone.  We have manufacturing accounting software and will use the
Generally accepted accounting principles to determine when the revenue is earned.  When that happens
it will reflect on the bottom line as profit or loss.  Then at that time we will pay a dividend if there is
a profit.

We definately need Ken to swiftly respond to this question.
Ken?

We will be using the following:

Why do so many ASICs manufacturers take customer pre-order money before even demonstrating a working prototype?

I hope you're legit, but the fact that you're already accepting pre-order money with no existing track record doesn't look good...

This is what is required for start-up in the bitcoin business.  To create a bitcoin mining chip and manufacturer bitcoin mining machines requires a lot of start up capital.  We are not an Intel or Microsoft.

EMail from our engineers today:

Hi Gerald,

We expect to have the prototype boards completed by July 23^rd . We would be
ready for your visit / prototype verification, the week of the 29^th .
Please let me know when you plan to be here. Will you send us cable sets,
boxes, power supplies etc? We can verify there are no issues that will slow
us down once you get here.

    Best regards,

So a thread was needed for this answer. I'm satisfied now. Looking forward for your prototype!

Good deal.

transfer sent.  looking forward to good things.
patiently waiting to see my shares show up
still waiting.  sent a PM to ken

Working on any shares that we put in the hold bin for any reason, those should be transferred this morning.

Cut off time for tendering shares and being transferred before dividends are paid is 1:00 PM CDT today.

He's working on it...
Patience. I'm waiting as well.

Working on these, I am being very careful not to make any mistakes, so it is a slow process.

Feel free to add an extra zero to mine Smiley

I am sorry, but I took a zero off.  Grin Just kidding.

So, Ken, what happens to those of us in limbo over at BTCT.CO? Do we get dividends?

Yes, everyone will get dividends as long as they tendered by 1PM CDT which is the cut-off time for dividends.

The dividends paid to AM from AMC will be paid out.
