801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you have been anticipating for- Ethereum hardfork on: January 04, 2019, 10:40:20 AM
The team has got a lot of developments to the deliver of the platform this year and this might make ethereum to grow more. It will not I anyway take ethereum out of the market, but it is an update to make of better, most especially in addressing the security.
I guess what we had in price during the last bull run was only little, the next might be see to be massive and will increase its market cap.
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the king of all altcoins on: January 03, 2019, 11:30:07 PM
Ethereum is not yet done and it is proving that it is still the best among altcoins, which I believe it is. Even if the fork is done, there will still be more updates later in future.
It has long been predicted that ethereum will half the price if bitcoin, which will likely happen, but it is not yet time.
I still hold unto the believe that it is the king of all altcoins and not ripple that some people thought of.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH next to BTC? on: January 03, 2019, 11:25:34 PM
This standard has long been in the crypto space. Although, at a point, ethereum was displaced by ripple, but I knew it was, but for  moment. Ethereum is not back to it's position and it is still growing. I envisage that, the developer was initially testing the resilience and patience of ethereum fans and see how rugged some people might be to hold, yet there were those that sold theirs off too early.
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New year's eve, hoping for a change on: January 03, 2019, 11:22:21 PM
Some positive things have happened since the inception of this year and more are still preparing to manifest. Take for instance, ethereum that some people have lost hope on. Little did they know that, it has been well established to the point that, it is very much in use. Updates are still coming up and we are eagerly waiting for that. Change at this time is inevitable and will surely happen.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if the ICO projects pay the bounty hunters in bitcoin only? on: January 02, 2019, 11:21:27 PM
If it is already agreed that bounty hunters will be paid in btc or even eth, it would have been the best. I came across a project, whose name is Desico. This project claims it is issuing out security tokens, although not registered with any regulatory body.
After bounty participants had worked for them, it was now later announced that they will not be paid, so i was thinking that can't they be paid in eth or btc, since they do not want to pay in their security tokens.
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lesson from bear market on: January 02, 2019, 11:07:14 PM
I can't imagine experience the bearish market of 2018 and yet not learning some very important lessons. I am sure a lot of people who in one way or the other were affected, will have something to say and would have known about how to engage of combat some difficulties inherent in crypto space.
The experience is not enough for one to quit, but it is mean to equip you more.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you care about product? on: December 30, 2018, 01:54:56 PM
There are a lot of ICO with promising products. In fact, many projects launch ICO because they want to reach the next level and make a company more successful.

Do you use or plan using these products?
The problem that some projects encounter, despite how serious they may be , is that they may be stuck in the  process of developing their products and might be able to complete.
I am always interested in medical projects and i came across one that is still at the developmental stage of the project for almost a year now. I am always interested in using products like that, but what do i do in this situation.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Altcoin price depend on BTC or ETH?? on: December 30, 2018, 01:48:11 PM
Both bitcoin and ethereum are like standards for other altcoins. Although, there are still quite some number of altcoins that are paired with others as their base pairs.
The coin that determines or that other altcoins are dependent on most is bitcoin. If you check the dominance level of bitcoin in percentage, it is a little above 50%. Which shows that it is the most determinant factor, followed by ethereum.
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold or sell ? on: December 30, 2018, 01:38:20 PM
There are times one might not be able to predict how long the market might be bear. Just like what happened this year, almost everyone did not know that the bearish market would be prolonged. There are times one just have to take the risk or before making any decision, try to check the different social media of the project, to know what they have in plan for the present and future.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to choose a new coin on: December 30, 2018, 01:15:04 PM
as we know that there are too many coins in circulation.
What do you think of choosing a good coin to be used as an investment?
There are thousands of coins in the crypto market. The percentage of those we know is not upto those we do not know. For instance, if the check the coinmarketcap, we have less than 2073 coins listed, while in the general market, there are numerous and even countless number of them that are not lisyed on CMC.
If a coin does not have a true product that is in use, do not bother buying it.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this just a bounce? on: December 28, 2018, 10:28:59 PM
I see a very good increase in the last 2 weeks, but the slight increase was immediately ended by falling back. some say this is just a lure to attract buyers and then the market falls again.

What is your opinion?
I believe we are only experiencing what the true nature of cryptocurrency is, no one can truly tell if it is a trap to make buyers to get in and dump on them. This might still be a form of retracing. There are times that when a coin rises, some people might use that opportunity to sell what they have and if it plummets again, they will buy back. That has been the strategy of traders.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what solutions do make to cover Loss on: December 28, 2018, 09:50:57 PM
Personally , I lost nearly 1500$  from day trading. I do buy back theory now to recover the loss and invest on potential ico's. now i am going on a slowly steady way ,  if we get greedy then  we end up with nothing.

whats your solutions do you do for cover the loss?
You  ought to have started with an appreciable little fund that you can afford to lose. Trading requires some levels of skills and sometimes you have to train yourself before going into it. Then trade the coins that you truly know, mainly the coins you understand and try to get updates. Updates can help you to know when to buy and when not to buy, and vice versa for selling.
813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP really better than ETH??? on: December 28, 2018, 07:45:08 PM
Is the XRP really better than ETH ?? can be seen now ETH descends to TOP 3 sites https://coinmarketcap.com and XRP goes up to TOP 2. how do you think it is true XRP is better than ETH
I  do not think we can use that to conclude that it is better or to even choose the one that is better. We all know how long ethereum has been able to maintain that position, before ripple took over. Then we need to see how long ripple will also be able to maintain it. Then the partnerships that XRP is having, is what I feel couldbe contributing to its growth, so if all these end, we might see it plummet again. So, time I feel will tell which is better.
814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My reasons why we have a bearish market on: December 28, 2018, 07:32:37 PM
The major factor contributing to the dump in market or better still, bearish market, is manipulation and scam.
Had it been the space is regulated, then all these would not have happened, but despite the decentralized system of cryptocurrency, it seems to be porous and allows scammers in some aspects, most especially ICO. Had it been it is regulated, them scammers would have be left with no option, but to retreat. Then there are manipulations in the market.
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum lowest price on: December 28, 2018, 10:14:04 AM
Last year ethereum also experienced a decline as it is now, but to my knowledge does the price not fall as badly as this? how could this happen? what is behind it?
Whenever the price of a coin plunges, there is always a factor or some factors behind it. Sometimes, some people think its only shit coins that plunge, howbeit, it can also happen to genuine ones.
We are in bear market and Ethereum is not the only coin that us affected. Ever since it's been observed that so many investors have decided to pause investing in the crypto market, the marketcap has been reducing, so no one wants to buy coin at high rate, because they are afraid of what might happen next.
Nonetheless, improvement is now gradually setting in.
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 55K loss, how to get back into the game on: December 27, 2018, 08:04:03 PM
Folks, what a terrible year 2018 has been so far. I invested around 60K and now left with 5K. I did terrible mistakes and I hope there would be a turnaround sometime next year or so. Any suggestions?

Accept my sincere sympathy for what happened to you. I believe that you can still recover your losses. When there is life there is hope. Inasmuch as you're not running away in fear and you still have the courage to face the challenges that might come your way, you are still likely going to retrieve back what you might have lost. You just start again like someone that is just starting afresh and make good use of what you have learnt.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have to invest in bitcoin or ethereum. on: December 27, 2018, 07:06:27 PM
I see that BTC and ETH are two coins that have the highest capitalization in Coinmarketcap.
But I don't know why Bitcoin is still up and ETH always maintains current prices.
Why did that happen? And now, I have to invest in Bitcoin or Ethereum?
thank you
Another coin has now come in between the two and ETH is now on 3rd position, although it does not demean ETH.
If a coin is not growing as expected, then there might be no real development happening to it. Most times, when there is any development, it will be announced and that is what makes the price to grow. Although, recently ethereum has been seen to grow  and the it was growing despite not much significant growth on BTC.
818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple Recover? on: December 27, 2018, 07:00:58 PM
Riak will recover in the near future, rest assured that Ripple will not just give up. Ripple is a good and trustworthy coin, so we don't need to worry about Ripple anymore. Of course it will return to normal again
There are so many many developments happening lately as regards XRP and just recently another one was announced by Binance. XRP will likely go a long way than we expected and despite it being a centralized coin, it seems to have been established and has carved its own niche in the cryptosphere. Although, making it a base pair for some coins might not have much impact on the price.
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smart contracts: Hyped or Useful? on: December 26, 2018, 10:49:22 PM
I think without smart contracts, it would not have been easy for so many ICOs PR projects to survive and succeed in he crypto space. There are so many coins that have used the platform of ethereum  before leaving and moving to theirs. Had it been there is nothing of such, then the survival rate would have been slim.
Well, there are still some that will survive even at the start, if they already gave the fund for it.
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why People Choose Cryptocurrency? on: December 26, 2018, 10:43:33 PM
Why People Choose Cryptocurrency? Any Need?
We are into commodity trading, and we are building a platform which will support the trade of commodities with cryptos. We are trying  to make commodity trading very easy
That's why NewzoneEX choose cryptocurrency world. It opens up a whole new avenues for everyone.

I know nothing about your project, but  talking about commodity trading, crypto will be a very useful tool for that and will make a lot of things easy. Very soon, virtually every store will want to make use of cryptocurrency, because it saves resources, time, energy and brings transaction into completion within a very short time, which on a normal ground, has been tedious.
Cryptocurrency has got lots of opportunities that we cannot afford to miss.
