801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: March 13, 2016, 08:53:32 PM
Im seriously thinking about dumping a shit tonne of btc into eth and going all in on eth.
Am i crazy?

I did...

Yeah but when... 0.002?

LOL!

I bought in the range 0.0064 - 0.0145
Also Factom and Lisk Smiley

Don't have any BTC right now, it's all invested in the future of the blockchain.

Ethereum will now start to get a ton more media coverage, which will lead to more price gains. Augur will be huge. Market cap will exceed BTC by the end of the year.

I think it can overtake BTC's market cap too.
And I'm not afraid it will hurt BTC at all.

My prediction:

Ik gooi even een flinke knuppel in het hoenderhok:

De prijs van ETH:

1 maart 2016: 7$
1 april 2016: 18$
1 juli 2016: 45$
1 januari 2017: 120$
1 januari 2018: 400$
1 januari 2019: 1200$

We may overshoot my prediction for the second time in row  Grin

What do you guys think: is it too late to build a mining rig (4x 280x would be good?)? Or is it better to just buy coins?  I'm kinda leaning toward building a rig, cuz I can use some paypal credits I have and buy used on ebay.  Even with 2 btc, I could probably only get 100 ETH max anyway....would only take a couple months to mine that much with this rig...

Opinions?

Buy the next dip and hold.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: March 13, 2016, 12:05:14 PM
Good to see Factom will be working @ Ethereum chain too Smiley
http://themerkle.com/factom-plans-to-anchor-into-ethereum-blockchain/

This is just speculation right?  Huh

I'm not posting it to pump up the price, I think it won't do that anyway.

It's just a confirmation of what Paul Snow said earlier about using other blockchains for anchoring Factom data as a form of redundancy.

Factom is a long term project, milestone 2 should be ready soon (Q1, so only a few weeks). I expect reaching milestone 2 will do more for the value of FCT because that's a sign the project is moving forward.

People looking at GitHub on a regular basis already know it's moving forward, btw.
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LISK] Lisk | ICO | Decentralized Application & Sidechain Platform on: March 13, 2016, 11:03:17 AM

Lot of people invested in this ICO without realizing that this entire project is a fork of the old Crypti coin and dapp platform.

Lisk Devs have yet to "create" anything new here, this why I think Lisk will drop as soon as it hits the exchanges. There will be many opportunities to buy below ICO price, until Devs actually release new features that they create, not something cloned from Crypti.

Most projects start with an ICO and have only a whitepaper and no finished code as a base to start from.

Lisk already has this.

Not saying price will go up but it is not likely to go down.

Not sure if join or not!!! How much would you invest?? Tongue

Invest only what you are willing to lose.

I bought some in ICO and if price should drop, I'll buy some more at the exchanges.

yobit is good for new coins

I paid for addcoin on yobit so we can start to trade soon

They don't seem to be quick  Grin

I put in a support ticket at 3/5 but still no answer

yobit = scam artists

No biggie.

Right now we are in the low block rewards phase, supply is still very low so it's better to wait for april. I will have lots of time to start pushing it to exchanges and don't mind if I have to pay a small fee for that.

this message is aimed to the founders of lisk- max and oliver-

I'm invested in LISK, mainly because i think the team is enthusiastic, ran a good ico compaign and have a good idea to invest in.

MY MAIN CONCERN IS THAT THE COIN GOES OUT TO THE MARKET RIGHT AFTER THE ICO ENDS. WHICH MEANS- NOT MUCH DONE IN ORDER TO MAKE THE COIN ATTRACTIVE.

MY SUGGESTION-

1. DELAY THE DATE IN WHICH THE COIN GOES OUT TO THE MARKET IN A FEW MONTHS.
2. IN THE MEANWHILE- HIRE A GOOD TEAM WITH WELLKNOWN FACES AS ADVISORS.
3. START BUILDING THE PROJECT WITH GOOD PR.

OTHERWISE- im sure the coin value will drop once it goes out- AND WE DON'T WANT IT TO HAPPEN.

TNX!

I really don't mind, I'll buy up the weak hands.
814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: March 13, 2016, 08:45:14 AM
Videos are a great idea. It's the most effective way to quickly get a story accross

At Hypercube we have made a large number of promo's, explainers, tutorial videos and use case videos the last couple of years.
We produce videos exclusively for the blockchain space and are very experienced. Our clients have raised millions in crowdfunding rounds.

check out www.hypercubestudios.net

We've done work for Bitcoin.com, Factom, Shapeshift and many others.

Most recently for Lisk :

I'd love to help IOTA produce some great videos and give it the attention it deserves. With the current focus on DAPPS this is really the time to get out there and be noticed.

We handle complete productions, including script writing, voice overs, visuals and music.

PM me for more information.

-Joeri

+1 Great looking video! We need this for IOTA! Smiley

Almost 50% of Lisk ICO participant are from RUSSIA and Ukraine

Aren't they afraid of the new 7 year prison sentence law for Bitcoin activity in Russia?

Visitors ≠ ICO participants

Anyone interested in buying a Lisk ICO account with 1 BTC?

I purchased during 10% period, but I'll settle for less than that.

I believe in Lisk for long term, but I must admit that I didn't read throughly before investing and I'd like to have my BTC in hand for trading.

lol just ask them for a refund turd

There are no refunds. Unless he traded XCR equivalent to 1BTC. He would then be eligible to a refund of his XCR.

Anyone interested in buying my Lisk ?

I'll settle for 1 BTC + just 5%.

You can't sell them right now.
How can a buyer make sure you don't have a copy of the passphrase?

TMX Group, the operator of the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), has taken its first step toward investigating blockchain technology by appointing Ethereum founder Anthony Di Iorio as its first chief digital officer.

Guess Canada is embracing the ETH  Smiley

Wooooow! I don't believe it! It's awesome! It's more than I expected. 100$ for ETH or more soon. Billions of $ on the horizon!

$100? are you on mETHs? last year bitcoin was down at $225. today's cap $6.45 Bn. ETH's supply is 5x BTC.

for ETH at $11.32 to reach $100 its cap would have to be $7.76 Bn. that isn't going to happen, unless BTC suffers a black swan event.

There is no reason why ETH couldn't reach 100$

It is not Bitcoin, don't compare it with Bitcoin. Bitcoin doesn't run Dapps and does not have Smart Contracts.

Bitcoin in it's current development is only somewhat usefull as a currency, has consensus problems, thats blocking development and further adoption.
Bitcoin is ~7 years old and has been surpassed by better technology, that's how ICT works.
The marketcap for Bitcoin is very small, considering the money floating around on this planet.

When you get companies like RWE, Thomson Reuters, Samsung/Ubuntu, banks, etc. building on Ethereum, it could have a 20-50B Dollar marketcap withing a few years. There is real business involved here, not just John buying 50 ETH.

My prediction is not because I wish to see that to happen but because there is no law that forbids ETH to grow bigger than Bitcoin.

ETH is like Apple stocks in 2001 right now...

Just my 2 Satoshi...
