I can't believe how childish this community reacted to monero's situation. Something similar can happen to any coin out there, even xst!

Yup. Any coin can get trolled. XMR got trollolololoed, though, so it's pretty bad.
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XST] Stealth-Coin.com | Tor | StealthText, World's first anonymous SMS Tx! on: September 22, 2014, 05:14:58 AM

This is funny, but completely inaccurate.

There is nothing wrong with XMR, technically. The claims that have everyone worried are complete bullshit because the claims make absolutely no cryptographic sense.

Let me say (1) I don't own any XMR and (2) I own enough XST that if it were to replace XMR as "the coin of cryptographic anonymity" I would be this guy:

Just one problem with your theory. The Monero devs, Anonymint and even rpietila have acknowledged bcx exploit is real and they are working on fixing it.

Citation needed.

It's been quite an amazing past few weeks!  Thank you again to all of our supporters who have been providing great advice, spreading the word about StealthCoin and even building new services.  This is all great to see and helps strengthen our awesome community!

Being added to MintPal v2 tomorrow just goes to show you the community at large is starting to see great potential in the future of Stealth.  Hopefully this addition will attract a whole slew of new faces who can help take StealthCoin, StealthText and StealthSend to the masses.

Brief development update...
Hondo and our security expert are continuing to work on the Chandran Signature implementation for StealthSend.  As you can imagine, a significant amount of time goes into researching each line of code.  At this point we do not foresee any issues and fully expect to deliver mid-November as indicated in the roadmap.

While Hondo is focusing strictly on StealthSend, the rest of the team is continuing to push forward on ancillary products for StealthCoin.  At the top of our list right now is a web based wallet that can be used in conjunction with StealthText.  This hasn't been one of our publicized roadmap items up to this point but we hope to have this delivered around the same time as the Qt updates in mid-October.

Thank you all again for your support and we hope you look forward to these new releases as much as we do!  More updates to come soon!

-Stealth Dev Team

805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SSD] Sonic - First coin over TOR with functional anon send - 0% prem on: September 20, 2014, 06:54:12 PM
only problem, is the devs named it sonic, not sonic coin. So ticker should probably be just SONIC as its only 1 syllable

SONIC would be a great ticker symbol.

Wow guys. Congratulations on keeping this coin so nice.

I'm not in it, but I'm very impressed.

I bought in at 1450ish... Which I still think is pretty low for this coin. Just getting into and learning what it is about though. So, still have a steep curve for me!

No marketing and tech equivalent to or better than some of the highest cap coins out there. And the dev is working on something top secret.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SSD] SonicScrewdriver - First coin over TOR with functional anon send - 0% prem on: September 19, 2014, 06:47:39 PM
We are not sure of a new release date, but I am thankful that the dev has requested this delay in lieu of a knee-jerk release of a product.

The dev has been solid on everything so far. There is absolutely no reason to suspect he won't deliver here. An outsider orchestrated a "buy on rumor - dump on news" pump. But there was no news, so the P&D failed. Anyone who is trying to time their buys and sells by the hopeful release dates given by devs is going to get burned.

If you want your value to go up, [this part was pretty long, but I just took out my trading tips].

Ahhhh, that explains why someone dumped it down to 900s today! Haha, was wondering about that.

I'm pretty sure that was EmilioMann because the number dumped is exactly the amount he claimed to have. It's a shame, though. He's a real nice guy judging from his posts on XST. But I got 400k of his 700k dump, if it was him, so it's not all bad.

[edit] They are only human, have lives and families. They are optimists and this one works for free. They don't owe you anything. Keep all that in mind when you trade.

"As a result of implementing both Tor and Time Vortex addresses, it is completely impossible to analyze the blockchain, or even the SSD network in general. This really is taking anonymity and user privacy to a new level, and I like it!"  -- JP Buntinx

Troll, go back to your  ssd thread  before I dump the 700k ssd that I'm holding.

The person you refer to is not from SSD. That is a troll account created specifically for XST.

Read the backposts.

It's absurd. They are 'pestering' the dev to help. Sweet jeebus, WTF. I cleaning out my wallet too, this is just too much.

You are a troll. You've been trolling and trolling and trolling.

You said you cleaned out your wallet long ago you lying troll.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XST] Stealth-Coin.com | Tor | StealthText, World's first anonymous SMS Tx! on: September 19, 2014, 12:35:14 AM
Not trolling, not trying to FUD, not trying to insinuate or insult. Thought I was asking a very basic question, had no idea it would kick up so much dust.

I just read your backposts. You are a troll, jackass.

If I'm a troll, I think am really bad at it. I just don't see how asking this questions is so contentious.

Because you do the same thing over and over and over and over. That's what trolls do. You are a troll. As soon as its up on google play, you'll troll about something else.
818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XST] Stealth-Coin.com | Tor | StealthText, World's first anonymous SMS Tx! on: September 19, 2014, 12:19:57 AM

I am simply asking, as well as others here, for an update on the status of getting the app to google play. I am a little baffled by the hostility and how SSD factors into this discussion.

You are nitpicking and getting a little trollish. The app is released.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/3suz86nhgqukeuc/StealthText_v0.33.apk?dl=0

Download it and enjoy. If you can't use the link, it's unlikely you'd be able to make play work either.

Question: Where is the Google Play release?

Perhaps an update from the dev team on this would be helpful as this was promised a while ago.

This coin got on mintpal and 24 hours later everyone is nitpicking the little things.

Why don't you guys ask these questions in private and offer help if you can? You are basically feeding the trolls with stuff like this.

It's perfectly fine to publish your own android app and not go through google play. You can find this information on the google site. The app works fine, so why rally around this one point?

it's a shame that you think the add to mintpal is a bigger deal than the android app they were supposed to release weeks ago. Getting on another exchange has nothing to do with innovation

Weirdo who has nothing better to do than troll this thread: The app is released. This is what it says at developer.android.com:

"Usually, you release your application through an application marketplace, such as Google Play. However, you can also release applications by sending them directly to users or by letting users download them from your own website."

The app is linked on the OP.
