801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MNZ][B2B] Monaize - Banking Meets Blockchain on: October 02, 2017, 10:45:36 PM
Hi,

Your project sounds interesting and you already have some very interesting strategic partners.
IMO Monaize will be huge and I will look after you!
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔵 UTRUST 🔵 The future of online payments is here. on: October 01, 2017, 10:58:52 PM
Yes, UTRUST could eleminate the problems of PayPal payments, so that it could as additional effect enlarge the acceptance of cryptocurrency payments. Wish you great success with your project.
I'm really hoping that someday Utrust will replace Paypal. This maybe 2 years from now or 10 years but it's totally possible  Cool

uTrust or similar, important is PP to die. They are just bunch of greedy a**holes. And I feel it on my own, because I was an eBay seller for a while. Their takes are a real nightmare and of course those expenses are transferred to the end customer in most cases.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Good alternative to etherscan on: October 01, 2017, 10:50:29 PM
Etherscan is doing an upgrade at the moment, and thats OK but I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to a good alternative?

Secondly I was wondering if there is such a thing that keeps track of tokens and coins in various addresses and keeps a value on them, similar to maybe the way the Bloomberg app does it for shares and bonds?

Ideas? Go.

Here are few:

https://live.ether.camp/
https://etherchain.org/
https://ethplorer.io/

From this list, https://ethplorer.io/ is my favorite but still I prefer to use Etherscan
804  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | Most Popular & Trusted | 109 BTC Jackpot! on: October 01, 2017, 10:30:19 PM
Hello,

Do you have any plans to offer a rakeback to your customers?
I love to dice all night long, but I also love small incentives like smaller house edge or rakeback on Leveling. Everybody love 'free' money, right?
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] ⚡ DeepOnion TOR Integrated ⚡ No ICO 🚀 FREE Airdrops 🚀 12 of 40 Rounds on: October 01, 2017, 10:24:49 PM
Is there going to be any changes to the Airdrop? I registered on the 10th of Sept.

Hi,

Only devs can decide will they implement another shift of accounts registration date for airdrops.
My guess is they will make it, but around airdrop #20-25. As the new date (1/09) was implemented very recently. The old one was 12/07.

Have some patience, support the community and I'm sure you will get your reward when the time come.

807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BlockchainRoulette.com - How Can I Use this Domain? on: September 30, 2017, 11:55:35 PM
Dear Community! I am the owner of the Domain name BlockchainRoulette.com and I was wondering what would be the best option for me to use the domain for. What are your suggestions? P.S. If you have a partnership opportunity, let me know.

IMO BlockchainRoulette.com is too long and too ordinary for a working site. Most of the people will also misspell roulette.
I suggest you to sell it.

809  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1 BTC Raffle - www.stakeabit.com on: September 30, 2017, 10:34:03 PM
your idea is really good.
I would suggest decreasing the grid size( with 100 squares), in the beginning, it would be good to start with small size, once it becomes more popular you could increase the size of the grid.

and how do you generate a random number?

To increase the number of users, it would be recommended to do some giveaways in games and round section.

Thanks

Thanks for your feedback YOLO_LIFE. You could be right, I don't want to increase the cost of each share but maybe i could reduce the prize fund and in turn the number of shares.

The random number is generated by RANDOM.ORG between 1 - 3000 , I plan to post a transaction to the address with a description showing the random number that was generated. That way the winner is stored on the blockchain for any other user to see.

I like the idea of giveaways..  Grin

Thanks for your feedback!

If you make your site provably fair, choosing a winner from a block hash for example and having the money into escrow, then you have at least minimum chances to have players.

IMO with using random.org and having such a big Raffle edge you have no chances.
810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canadian friendly site? on: September 29, 2017, 11:35:35 PM
Hello all and just looking for a site accepting canadaian players.  Looking for casino games and maybe some sports.
Thanks

I never heard of bitcoin gambling site to restrict Canadians. US yes, after they banned the online gambling. But for Canadians will be something new. Just choose some trusted site around and have fun.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which new will add Ico in Bittrex??? on: September 29, 2017, 12:32:03 AM
How can i want to know Which ico coin will be added in bittrex coin exchange.

In telegram people discussed about Rivetz.  they said Rivetz will add in bittrex.

did you hear that news??
Stox coin retweeted by Luis Suarez.

You don't need to worry at all. Bittrex are not adding coins and tokens from August this year.
I don't think they will add any until the end of 2017 which is strange as they now are much better than polo.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO] Emphy.io - Decentralized lodging ecosystem on: September 29, 2017, 12:28:59 AM
IMO this project is dead. They are not answering user's questions and didn't shown their pre-ico results.
Be careful.

814  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin debit card with the best possible exchange rate on: September 28, 2017, 08:08:27 PM
Ok guys, please share your experience with BTC debit card with the best possible exchange rate, as close as possible to the market rate.

Wirex is by far the worst in my experience, over 100 EUR difference per 1 BTC between Preev or Bitstamp rate and what they offer. They say they use "wholesale" rate, how is that one calculated, I have no idea. Cryptopay is about $100 difference, so a bit better. What do you guys use to get the best possible rate?

You should watch not only taxes but and their Bitcoin buy rates. Because I made 2 cards few months ago.
One was Wirex which I refused to use. They are having standard card withdraw/use fees but -100+ euro or Buy BTC rate.
815  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: XAPO are now allowing people to withdraw their bitcoincash on: September 27, 2017, 11:17:18 PM
See this blogpost:

https://blog.xapo.com/time-to-convert-your-bitcoin-cash-bch/

They're giving people two options a) withdraw the bitcoincash and b) sell the BCH for bitcoin.

But they're setting a deadline of December 14th 2017. If you haven't withdrawn or sold by then, you lose your bitcoincash coins.

Ha, I missed that.
I had merely 0.27BTC there at 1 Aug, but still free money are free money Cheesy

818  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to provide liquidity for a new exchange? on: September 27, 2017, 12:23:49 AM
Hi folks,

I'm launching a new exchange and a bit stuck about providing liquidity.
I'm aware and understand technical details related with connection to a third party exchange order book.
But I want to minimise risks, losses and keep a storage in balance.

Could you suggest me links or explain how to built a proper spread and how to cover expected losses by arbitrage?

From my experience, the best ways are:

1. Obligatory: Having an API, for market makers.
2. Highly recommended: 0% or slightly negative fees for 3-6 months.
3. Highly recommended: Willing to accept not so popular coins, listed in just 1-2 exchanges.
4. Recommended: Signature campaign or other form of targeted crypto advertisement.
819  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is PayPal now feeling the pressure from Bitcoin? on: September 27, 2017, 12:04:27 AM
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/paypal-ceo-expensive-poor-221202508.html

PayPal CEO Dan Schulman wants to make it easier for people, including those who live outside the financial system, to manage and move their money.

“There’s a saying that it’s expensive to be poor,” Schulman told Yahoo Finance in a recent interview at PayPal’s San Jose, California headquarters. “You want to cash a check, send money to a loved one, get credit, even pay your bills. For those who are outside the financial system — and there are over 70 million adults in the U.S. and over 2 billion people in the world — those basic consumer transactions can be incredibly time-consuming — you stand in line for 30 to 45 minutes — and very expensive.”

While the dollar costs of executing a financial transaction may seem reasonable for most, they can be quite high for those with very little income.

On average, an underserved consumer spends 10% of their disposable income on unnecessary fees and interest rates,” he added. “So democratizing financial service is basically saying the following: We want managing and moving your money to be a right for all citizens, not just the privileged, or the affluent.
[/b]”

Sound familiar?  Wink

IMO PayPal will never feel threaten from any crypto-currently in next 2-5 years. Cryptos are still for average+ technical guys, not for the mass. Your grandpa could have PP to pay some stuff online, but can he use bitcoin? Or your high-school teacher?

Cryptos need to achieve much deeper acceptance and the future of mass coin is some alt with 10-60s confirmation time. Nobody will wait 30min to pay a beer.
