I have never seen so much damn hype for an altcoin launch like Lisk is having. At launch there will be blood. It will be bears vs bulls for sure. It will be of BIBLICAL proportions. Holy shit this is going to be HUGE. I predict a $2 floor at launch and then a spike to around $4-5. Then a sell off back down to $1. 6-12 months from now $10-20 and I stand by my prediction 100%. May 24th may go down as the most anticipated altcoin launch in history. Houston we have liftoff in T-27 days. If you are ready then repeat after me: MY BODY IS READY.   I do agree with your predictions , $2 day first day and same day will be a peak of $5 and then back to between $1-$2 for a few weeks and then later $8-$12 and then back again to $5 for few weeks so what do you think guys (just serious answers please) a recent copy/paste from the price

I'm looking forward to the first month after LISK has been launched. We'll see how the beta versions of dapps running on the Lisk sidechains impress web develops with experience in JavaScript.
make some months out of it or one year. look at ethereum, bitcoin, maid, ripple..... you need like one year at least to get a high price for coin. |

Sadly, barely anyone agrees with you. Bitcoin is a decentralized crypto-currency platform even though the client is downloaded from a centralized server. Lisk is a decentralized application platform even though the dapp is currently downloaded from a centralized server. You are clinging on some aspects of decentralized applications, stating a "true" DaPP should be decentralized in every manner. What is rather outstanding is you also cling to the idea Bitcoin is not decentralized... here we have the definition for the Dapp my Maxx: An application which becomes decentralized because it runs on a blockchain with a big number of servers. All servers are controlling each others computations and correct them if needed. Same as Bitcoin, Lisk or Nxt are decentralized application themselves. E.g. Bitcoin only has the feature to send tokens around. However, a Lisk dapp can has mostly any feature, e.g. saving an arbitrary value onto the blockchain, calculating a deterministic value and so on.  We don't store any code on the blockchain. Dapps needs to be deterministic, yes. Then they're not dapps. Your use of that term is very confusing. dapps, by definition, have their code stored on the blockchain and are audited by the nodes. You just have a blockchain that links to JavaScript apps. So once and forever:
Dapps on Lisk are not decentralised downloaded (the same as bitcoin regarding to Lisk), nor saving data on the blockchain, so everyone can use it decentralised (like Ethereum with smart contracts) but a app can save some numbers on the blockchain, and it can use Lisk (which is a decentralised software) thats making Lisk Dapps decentralised. It cant run from data on the blockchain, because of Javascript limitations. An Dapp like Augur is impossible, IOT Dapps possible. Is the GmbH already founded? When is the publishing date? When is the guy for the roadmap going to be hired, so there can devs get hired for the roadmap? |

I'm semi concerned about that too. But, I'm much more interested in seeing the project attempt to work through all of this and develop something meaningful. Further, I'm also really interested in seeing a roadmap and team update/tech update on the plans for the millions of dollars - what devs are being hired? What's the plan? Where is this going in the vision of the team in place currently. Right now there is not much brain power focused towards LISK - reading through this thread shows that 99% of the people here just want absurdly crazy ROI at any cost. Very little talk is about development or use cases almost all of it is just plain "moon for moon's sake". Curious to see what substance the team can put together for 5 million bucks. How funny LISK don't even have DAPPS javascript is not compatiable and this aint even FUD amazing the only real fud they have against ethereum is that solidity language they're using is not popular
there is a reason why vitalik didnt use JS for the back end because it wont work for their plan lisk can be coded to play games like hangman, free candy crusher or flipper remember FUN APPS not fun dapps

The value of cryptos should also go down, because its a value of the market.
money is a vail (keynes), its not magic stone of wealth or something. money having value, but its the same as a house. its losing his value over time, by getting destroyed by nature part by part.
the system is working. what cryptos can do, is bringing more transparency and efficiency into the system.
also cryptos are not magic bits somewhere giving us freedom and making us wise.

Historically, MarketCap ranking is directly proportional to Coin Popularity. Based on graph below, clearly Lisk will reach #3 on MarketCap soon after launch. So probably $300M-$500M MarketCap, which means Lisk should be at $3 to $5When Lisk's popularity surpasses Ethereum's popularity, then you can expect Lisk to go above $10  Another graph (Google trends):  Interesting is also the correlation between Lisk and Yobit. With other words: Lisk helps yobit to get more attention. ;-) i was wondering why they didnt add ethereum to google trends to show on graph me being such a fab guy il do it for you yes guys you were dreaming lisk aint beating ETH  agree. just that needs time. the market has to process that popularity and that can take some time. btc is year online, ethereum took 2 years, dogecoin also. i guess there are also other coin with the same popularity like maid, ripple, you didnt consider here why? |
