801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][C2]Coin2 Team Kalisto on: November 15, 2014, 05:57:17 PM
oops my bad, i thought the IRC stuff was fixed in this one, but guess not, something to look forward to in a future release I guess, and for now the SuperNET stuff doesn't actually work, but it is there ready to go. We still need someone to setup a triplet uMGW server, this kinda turned out to be over all our heads.

For more information on what SuperNET is exactly check this link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=762346.0

If any good hearted person sees this and understands how to set it up please feel free to step forward.

Here is some info I found while searching the net on uMGW: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1BZfV5DrrLEWB-cGAZ0GybITWXAZw5AA0QijsY_c1Dqk/edit#heading=h.7uez6vq53ttx

Yes I know that is a guide on how to set it up, but its kinda for expert techs.. lol

* IRC Chat built in

For any other version Mac, Linux, or anything else, the new source is here: https://github.com/kalisto2002/Coin2.1

808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][C2]Coin2 Team Kalisto on: November 06, 2014, 01:47:27 PM
Progress is slow. We need programmers bad. So if you know any. Send them our way!

Sorry about no updates. If I get anything I will get it to you asap.

If you dont get programmers, FPS is dead.
True or False?

false, but it will be slower progress

810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][C2]Coin2 Team Kalisto on: October 26, 2014, 04:53:06 AM

Does anyone know how many C2 are still on mintpal?

This would sorta be up to the disclosure of mintpal to give out that information, but it is strongly suggested for everyone to make sure they don't have any coin2 left on there, maybe if everyone tweets about it or something, I made a post on coin2's facebook and I think zyronx might have tweeted to do this already, so maybe even a like/share of the post on fb and a retweet on twitter to remind everyone to do so as soon as possible will help out loads.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][C2]Coin2 Team Kalisto on: October 25, 2014, 11:05:08 PM
yeah i agree about the poker or blackjack games, would be nice to have some sort of casino running to spend coin2 in, i have a gambling habit occasionally my specific poison is video slots with lots of animations and bonus games lol..
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][C2]Coin2 Team Kalisto on: October 24, 2014, 11:19:34 PM
this is bad to say but im full of a few ideas, but no one really to get them done.. im not skilled enough to do it by myself, lol, could we maybe get a marketing campaign going or something, advertise for what coin2 does have to offer, i've been thinking about ordering some t-shirts with the coin logo on them, just looks a tad bit expensive for me, so that ideas out for now. Was also looking into setting up some gambling type places to spend coin2 on, its technically not gambling with money, just property. The software for that costs alot though.. and on top of that would have to have someone that knows what their doing rework the code for it to work with coin2 instead of bitcoin. I think kalisto said something about he was switching back to old chain of conflict unity version, but thats ok, its the original first person shooter we started. I think I can handle coming on here and rambling for a bit each week, =) Gives me something to do, even though technically i have alot im doing at the moment, anyways if anyone wants to help out in this area of marketing feel free.

But new coin released on October 19, 2014 12:15??  Huh Huh

https://www.altcoincalendar.info/coins/946-C2

is an error....

No this was no error, the altcoincalendar guy approached me last night about adding it there, it wasn't listed previously, and he said it would help to gain exposure, I also listed http://www.coin2talk.org as the coins website to increase traffic in our forums.

Hi folks, apologies have had to take a few days off for personal reasons and don't have access to my normal computer. Will send 5000 c2 to the current high score when I get back to my computer on tues.

Btw thinking of trying my hand at another game so have been starting to make some of the graphics. Will let you know how it goes.

Ah its cool man, no worries over you taking some time to yourself, I was wondering though would it be possible to have the game use the api to auto payout on any score over 100, that way you don' t have to manually payout each week and the person with the highest score isnt the only one earning from it.. im sure we can help you devise some kinda payout formula
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][C2]Coin2 Team Kalisto on: October 19, 2014, 10:55:06 PM
2 teams isnt gonna work tbh. People need to have faith in a crypto currency (devs), with 2 camps fighting, one team is gonna be butthurt.

There only can be one winner, so pick your side.

Technically were not fighting with each other, were not even sure Joel even has anything going on, or if he even really has a team, you guys decide if you want to trust him or not, but were being safe and gonna work just as we have been for the last 8 months
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][C2]Coin2 Team Kalisto on: October 19, 2014, 10:29:47 PM
Here is the why it would be worth it:

A: People become interested in your game
B: Your game has an Store to purchase exclusive items with coin2
C: People purchase coin2 from the exchanges pushing the price up
D: People spend their coin2 in YOUR game giving you coin2
E: You become smart about your dumping so you dont drive the price back down
F: You profit, holders profit

That about sums up how the games work in your favor and how it affects the market.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][C2]Coin2 Team Kalisto on: October 19, 2014, 10:24:18 PM

i have a big LOL here

Scenario:

Bragging guy : hey guys i made a game maybe you are interested
Interested guy: oh cool can i see it? do you have pictures?
Bragging guy: hmmm any incentives for this?
Interested guy: We have 100k as initial reward but depends on what's your bargaining
Bragging guy: no no that is way too low my game is awesome i won't even show you how it looks
Interested guy: oh well if you cant see it then maybe you dont have game just bragging about nothing
Bragging guy: I'm not bragging. Any game is worth more (just time-spent wise) than 100k . I don't have this, or any coins', interests at heart as at the end of the day it's a protocol and not a living being.
Interested guy: oh well move on  maybe u really dont have game and you are just bragging about nothing(protocol if your selling show proof that u have the goods)
Bragging guy:  It's awesome and reward doesnt meet for me to show even the screenshot of it
Interested guy: whatever just move on

XDD

Exactly, lol

True, sad to think he assumes we can only buy it with coin2, lol.. but ignore the bounties.. screenshots are more worth the time of looking into it, words mean nothing because anyone can step up and say they have a game.. lol there are alot of open source ones out there..
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][C2]Coin2 Team Kalisto on: October 19, 2014, 10:07:35 PM

Who offered you 100k? Also if you look into what games would do for the price eventually (if you weren't trying to make just a quick profit) 100k would be more than adequate, we are looking for people that will contribute and keep contributing, there are many involved in the project that aren't board members, just community members offering to help out. Its obvious your just after a quick profit and don't care whether we succeed or not with our goals. Keep in mind no coin has been offered to you yet, your just assuming based on the bounties. and theres no guarantee people would even play the game if we were to buy it from you with something other than coin2.
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][C2]Coin2 Team Kalisto on: October 19, 2014, 08:40:53 PM
I wouldn't, no. The potential payoff if you guys saw and liked the game isn't enough to even show you guys the game.

Well move along then, if you cant post screenshots, were not interested, seems almost like you just are bragging anyway, the potential payoff would increase with the more games that are released, but doesn't look like you have the coins interests at heart.
