801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO still have huge chance of surviving on: March 09, 2019, 12:45:40 PM
ICO itself, as a type of crowdinvesting is a good and convenient thing, that's true. But the other fact we should face is that most of the projects, whose teams are trying to collect money with ICOs, are just useless crap. That's why we may think that ICOs are no good as phenomenon.
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why crypto market is volatile on: March 09, 2019, 12:42:19 PM
Hey, I have some moderate experience over this crypto world. Why the market is extensively volatile. Alike traditional market does crypto too impacted of many major changes.

This market is new - this is the main reason. Second reason - it's not backed by anything real. Third - there are many guys who are interested in this volatility, who make money, using it.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the king of Altcoin? on: March 09, 2019, 12:39:40 PM
The king of cryptocurrency is Bitcoin. But who is the king of Altcoin?

The King of Altcoin who is ETH or Litecoin? I think ETH is the reason most are used in ETH at airdrop. And the price of the ETH is much higher than all other Altcoin. The number of users of ETH coins is also much higher. Litecoin also has a number of users then I think ETH coins are King of Altcoin. It is my personal opinion. You can give your opinion. I know there is many more good Altcoin but ETH is the best. I hope everyone will give feedback.

Best regards
Coin-Desk

Ether is the king still. But I think he is very old and weak now, and there are many young strong applicants for the crypto throne. Duke EOS, count NEO, baron Stellar, marquiz Waves, and Ripple - the grey cardinal Smiley
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Crypto now? on: March 08, 2019, 03:26:14 PM
I'm just curious if you guys still hodling your altcoins?
Do you still believed that we could get x1000 profit if we hodl our altcoins longer? And kindly suggest best coins should i invest this year.

Thanks.

Still hodling, still believing in bright crypto future full of lambos and chicks in swimwears  Grin
I believe this year will be very interesting and promising for crypto holders, but we can go even deeper before the bull run comes.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to sell ERC20 Tokens ? on: March 08, 2019, 03:21:39 PM
It's easy, but the detail can be frustrating sometimes Smiley
First check coinmarketcap to see the price and exchanges where this token is listed.
If this coin is not presented on coinmarketcap, check forkdelta - maybe there is some trading volume there.
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best altcoin to buy? on: March 07, 2019, 09:13:38 PM
Try using this total FUD we see at the market now. Choose some strong altcoins from top-100 on coinmarketcap, check if they have strong and motivated teams, continuously developing their projects without being affected seriously by the market situation... and buy the dips Smiley
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most trending ICO now? on: March 07, 2019, 09:08:32 PM
The title says all. I'm interested to know the top 10 ICOs.

I think the last one was BitTorrent.

Please suggest those ICOs which you think to be successful like BitTorrent at the current market situation.

It's almost impossible to predict something like this, unfortunately...

It's much easier to look back and watch some graphs to conclude that some good coins were quite obvious and predictable, but experts usually are good in explaining past results than predicting the future Smiley
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency trading pairs — how it works on: March 07, 2019, 07:51:43 PM
I remember 2017, when people were arguing whether they should count their profit and ROI in BTC or in USDT...
Now the times have changed and everybody understands that every portfolio growth should be measured in fiat currency Smiley
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: newbies since 2017 bullrun needs to learn on: March 03, 2019, 01:43:15 PM
After the last bullrun many people have storm this forum looking for a way to get rich quick with zero knowledge of how cryptocurrency actually works if you are one of these people please start from scratch and learn how cryptocurrency really works, the people that joined the crypto train since last bullrun are the ones giving the scammers more courage to create scam projects because of the assurance of making huge money ,if no one invest in scam projects anymore scammers will find there way ,REMEMBER THAT BEFORE THE BULLRUN MANY PEOPLE ARE ALREADY IN CRYPTO WORLD ,INVESTING ,ADOPTING AND LEARNING ,THEY KEPT CRYPTOCURRENCY ALIVE TILL DATE ,THEY CARE MORE ABOUT ITS SURVIVAL NOT QUICK PROFITS,WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO PUT SCAMMERS TO SHAME AND IT CANT BE DONE IF WE ARE BLINDLY INVESTING IN THEM.

I think it's not so simple as you imagine. If you remove scammers and add more regulation and government control in crypto sphere, the opportunities to get rich fast here will vanish and the situation will be similar to stock market here.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardworking pays not luck on: March 02, 2019, 04:59:31 PM
We don't want luck we want to get paid for hardworking ,bounty that was once about how hardworking has now turn to 'how lucky you are' ,something must be done about this ,any ideas??? Since all devs makes use of Bitcointalk forum to advertise and draw people attention bitcointalk will Be the easiest strong wall standing between scammers and investors

Don't quite understand, what you are talking about. If you want to secure bounty sphere and make it more just and safe, it's almost useless, cause you will decrease the earnings you get if a many people come here knowing this is fair and well-payed job. Big risks give big opportunities here.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think ICO is a good way to raise money? on: March 02, 2019, 04:41:41 PM
Hello , What do you think about ICO as a way of raising money in the next years? .Specially after all the scam projects we have seen before, like last time  the team of a project called elementh(https://icobench.com/ico/elementh) claimed that they have to quit the project since they did not have enough resources eventhough they raised about 8M USD , and after ICO no single step forward the development of product has been achieved.
They wanna return the money to investors as btc and eth after all this bull market (btc was about 10K usd ).

ICO is a very good way to raise money. Especially this was so in 2017 Smiley
But this is the best way for ICO's team to earn cash, not for the investors to get profit Grin
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to send all ETH tokens at once? on: March 02, 2019, 04:36:42 PM
I have another simple but very important question regarding MyEtherWallet mechanics. How to export/import my added custom tokens if I change my computer or browser? Is this possible?
813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has the crypto market reached its bottom yet? on: March 01, 2019, 10:39:22 AM
I would like to understand the general sentiment here from people who gather lots of crypto-related info from various sources.

Not yet I bet. We can easily hit 3000 with BTC in the nearest two months. There should be another huge panic I think - like the one we saw in November. After that we will see the long-awaited bull run.
814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What new categories of bounty would you like to see? on: March 01, 2019, 10:29:49 AM
We are preparing for our ICO launch and I would like to take a step further and engage the existing and upcoming bounty-hunters with a personal question.

When you participate in a bounty programme it normally offers the classic categories: Facebook, Twitter, Telegram, Signature, Translation and some sort of content creation.

Is there a new kind of bounty you would like to pursue?

Like different kinds of bounty games and contests with some interesting prizes. Also airdrops and referral contests are good I think. Lotteries and different kinds of chat quiz as well.
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with your blockchain transactions on: March 01, 2019, 10:17:53 AM
I cant believe that this person sent 0.1 Ether with 2,100 Ether transaction fee. I am pretty sure that this person is crying out right now and just shaking his / her head repeatedly. What will you do if this happens to you? How will you comfort your self at a time like this? 2,100 Ethereum for transaction fee really is a big amount and unfair on that person but a mistake was already made. I hope that he can contact the miner who processed that transaction for reimbursement which is I think possible. Look on the reference below.

 https://etherscan.io/tx/0x1f73b43dc9c48cc131a931fac7095de9e5eba0c5184ec0c5c5f1f32efa2a6bab

This mistake looks very strange imho. How can this be possible? Smiley
This guy must be blind, guided by this miner - this is the only possible case here I assume  Grin
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can an Escrow be a guarantee? on: February 28, 2019, 08:49:33 PM
I saw a project and on that project I did not see the team and DEV from the project. however they use Escrow with good positive trust, can it be a determinant that the project will not be scam?

I don't the good escrow presence should be the decisive factor to someone to invest in ICO Smiley
You should analyse this project in whole, from different sides. If you check everything and there will be many reasons for you to chose this ICO, well, ok, do this at your own risk.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: road to success on: February 28, 2019, 08:41:30 PM
What kind of PR methods are successful in a crypto project ? and what attracts you? For example, digital marketing platforms like twitter, facebook or airdrops or bounties. What is your opinion ?

Airdrops, bounties, some flashmobs and virus marketing maybe Smiley
Also some strong partnerships, intriguing news, breathtaking events. This should look very promising and even stunning sometimes Smiley
818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Summary about ICOs in 2018 on: February 28, 2019, 08:35:44 PM
In 2017 :
  ICO started : 970
  ICO finished : 718
ICO that raised enough funds : 413
  Funds raised : 10 062 399 721 $

In 2018 :
 ICO started : 2817
 ICO finished : 2517
ICO that raised enough funds : 1012
 Funds raised : 11 596 382 015 $

Well, this means each ICO collected in 2018 three times less than in 2017 in average. If we count in people's awareness increasing in 2018 that figures seem to be quite disappointing for ICO creators Smiley
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment reality on: February 24, 2019, 02:38:30 PM
80 % of people got involved in crypto from September-December and afterwards, they lost interest to invest watching their investments going down. Companies, corporations and politicians , let's say they filled their bags. And only after all of that we will see some positive regulation

But I firmly stand on my point that the only way for crypto to have a long life is the adoption and not just price speculation. And this will come from all of us. Start in little but whenever you got the chance to pay smth with cryptocurrency, just do it. Let's give real world value to the coins we hold.

That's right, pay with crypto, accept it if you have some real business, tell your friends and people you meet about the crypto and ask shops and restaurants if they are accepting crypto. All means are good here Smiley
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google keyboard with bitcoin symbol and ethereum on: February 24, 2019, 02:33:48 PM
Don't think they should add anything else now either. Bitcoin is very popular - as a word, as a symbol. Other cryptocurrencies - are not. Maybe if ethereum popularity will rich such a state in future this subject will be discussible.
