801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Experience is the best teacher on: October 03, 2018, 04:27:29 AM
If the adage "Experience is the best teacher" is applicable in different spheres of life, it is definitely applicable in the cryptospace. Those who have been in this space for quite sometimes now will be able attest to the fact that the experience they have had through encounters with different projects and coins on different exchanges, is now helping them to be able to identify at least to an extent both genuine and scam projects.
What could have aided this could be due to the fact that there is no regulatory body, alongside other reasons in the cryptosphere.
So, the more your level of exposure, the more your experience and the better you become.

Yes it is the best teacher. For example, if you don't have experiences in trading cryptocurrency, you will have a huge possibility to have loss because you don't know the market movements. And if you have fall into a scam project, then you will very careful when you want to investing on any projects in the future. In cryptocurrency, experience is a valuable thing that you need to survive in this volatile market.
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH is recovering? on: October 03, 2018, 03:51:16 AM
Yesterday I only saw ETH for $ 167. But ETH today increased 17% and increased to $ 203. What can this tell us about ETH?
I am very excited about the price increase of ETH

ETH was in the most bottom in September, and now it is stabilizing around $200++ in the market.
Well, i think not only you who excited of the increasing ETH price, but everyone are.
I think the ETH has fallen because many peoples lost interest in ICO, only few ICO's are good, the rest are bad.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decision in panic! on: October 03, 2018, 03:19:55 AM
Have you ever take wrong decision when you were panic. share your experience

I think i haven't doing anything in crypto world when panicking because i know everything doing with panic will not be a good thing.
We know that cryptocurrency market can be manipulated by some pump and dump group, so we cannot let they make us panic selling our coins.
804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has 54% of the cryptocurrency market on: October 02, 2018, 08:06:35 AM
For those of you that think that Bitcoin is going down this article proves that it's still the strongest in the cryptocurrency world. Not since December 2017 has Bitcoin been such a dominant part of cryptocurrency.

Full article here: https://bitcoinist.com/cryptocurrency-market-54-bitcoin/

I don't see any problem of it, normally bitcoin will be dominant in cryptocurrency because it is the first crypto in the world.
Bitcoin has been used by peoples since 2009, so bitcoin will be the most used coin in cryptocurrency.
Not mention that there will be bitcoin ETF, though the decision is delayed to Dec 2018, but more peoples will use bitcoin of course.
805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin safer than banking? on: October 02, 2018, 04:44:55 AM
Reports have it that bank frauds still continue to happen despite of strict security measures being taken by the banks. Just between January to July 2018, just timeshare fraud alone had 1.155 reported cases. It's when you’re told you can go on a free holiday or get rich by joining an exclusive holiday club or timeshare programme, but you’re eventually forced to pay for it through small print in the contact. That is not to mention other types of fraud like identity theft etc.

This gets me thinking, is it safer to just have bitcoins, or cryptocurrencies for that matter since it's not regulated by banks? What do you think?

Some peoples said bitcoin is safer than banks because only you have the full control of your balance. But some peoples still think bitcoin and crypto are not safe, peoples can hack you. Well, i guess it will be depends on our knowledge how to secure our wallet to not getting hacked by others.
806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google's new updates ban cryptocurrency mining apps on Play Store on: October 02, 2018, 04:09:09 AM

The new updates on Google again hit the crypto headlines due to its ban on cryptocurrency mining apps on Play Store. Play Store, the pre-installed Android based app will no longer feature crypto mining apps for the crypto enthusiasts. The developer policies of Google Play Store have completely prohibited the cryptocurrency mining apps which supposedly feature disruptive ads.

Amidst this stringent measure, the company has still considered giving permission to those apps which focus on remotely handling crypto mining. Android's digital distribution services has previously released update that led to the banning of all apps pertaining to fake ID.

There are many fake mining apps in google playstore, maybe that is the reason they banning the apps.
If you want to mining crypto, just use your pc and not your phone. Using PC will be more efficient because you can get high hash rate with low power.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ripple cross $5 this year ? on: October 01, 2018, 10:07:29 AM
Will Ripple be able to repeat the history again this year ? Last year we predicted the value of $5 for one Ripple but we got almost more than $3 ? Kindly share your feedback about the Ripple.

This seems impossible to happening but it still possible to happening in the future. As we can see now Ripple has gone increasing.
If ripple reached $5, it can go to the no.1 position in coinmarketcap because Ripple supply is very much in the circulation.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Here is how i survive in red market on: October 01, 2018, 08:31:54 AM
What you do in bear market? what you do when your coin price down, or bounty payment is far below your expectation?
many ppl will HODL their coin until pamp, but when? when pamp? when lambo?

that's not smart way to survive in red market. this is smart way to survive in red market:
1. cash out to fiat (if your loss is huge, skip this)
2. trade your coin/scalping (if you are nub or just simply lazy reading chart everyday, skip)
3. hold coin/token which give you airdrop (if you are impatient or don't know what coin to hold, skip)
4. staking and masternode

i've tried ^this all, and for now staking is best way to get more money in red market. i have real job so trading is not suitable, i also can't just hold, that's not productive and give you nothing. by staking, you can grow your coin by doing nothing, and can give you decent profit if you stake coin with big return.

and masternode also good. not all is expensive, you can have teloscoin masternode with only $4 which give you 1,180% ROI in one month. or you can have xg masternode by 0.016 btc/around $100 and you can get 50K satoshi/$3 everyday (rough calculation). or new coin smartfox masternode with 6,309% ROI in 6 days only

>(this is only fact from MASTERNODES.ONLINE, not my recommendation)<

oh stakinglab.io and stakecube.net also have online staking and masternode services, and poslist.org for PoS coin list

In bear market, you will experiencing more losses if you keep holding it. You will need to holding very long time to wait the recover of the market.
What i can do in bear market is by selling the coins if a certain price hit, so you can cut the losses in short time.
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: airdrop problems on: October 01, 2018, 07:43:10 AM
hy all
sorry i recent found out that most of the airdrop which we are participating are fake.
how could you work for airdrop at last they paid you and it worth's nothing or it has not been listed on exchange, even it is listed the amount of token given to you can't even cover the gas fee. just take a look of that, is it good?
then some of airdrop are to freez your system immediately which you can't have any access to control your system. i have been hack by airdrop and they mad away all my token just a simple click.

please reason why i decided to drop this message is that i don't you want to fall victim, because it pains for you to work for the entire months someone just came from no were and made away with your hustle without pity. so  be careful

please drop your opinion let's reason together,
thanks.

Well, if you participating in airdrop without some research first, you maybe not be able to find a legit project and waste your time.
It is no different both investors and supporters of the project, they must do some research on the ICO company to know the project is real or not.
810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop being pessimistic. The potential of bitcoin is still immense! on: September 30, 2018, 02:08:46 PM
I think the crypto market is just in an initial stage of expansion and occupies a very small and insignificant place in the global economy. For that reason I do not understand the great pessimism that many times is observed in those who have invested some money here, as soon as they observe some eventual fall in the price of bitcoin.

At some point I read an article in which bitcoin was already among the 20 most important currencies in the world (displacing many fiat currencies), so I have no doubt that the growth potential of this market is still immense and we can still consider ourselves as early adopters.

I think peoples think pessimistic because the value of cryptocurrency has been staying at the bottom for a while.
If this keep continues, more peoples will think crypto won't growing anymore and they will sell their coins eventually.
But i believe cryptocurrency still can growing with unexpected things in the future.
811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cheers; and congratulations to all bitcoin traders on: September 30, 2018, 02:00:32 PM
Good news bitcoin  and other crypto coins taking a big u turn . In just 30 minutes a big price hike. bitcoin and other major coins having a  big jump added $20 billion to market capitalization of crypto market.  About 10% increase.  The market was suffering from all the negativeness and hence was so down.  A restart kick for upwards journey was awaited since months. And 17th July witnessed such a big kick for start of movement.

This is all amidst the positive news coming since last few weeks.
My opinion is this is the good time to enter the market and buy bitcoin or other major leading coins with the long term investment strategy.  If this momentum sustains and continues for few weeks today's surge in prices will  prove to be a strong base for big big rise in the value.  This one stroke dated 17th July may prove to be a long glorified future story to be noted in the bitcoin history.

https://www.ccn.com/crypto-market-adds-20-billion-in-30-minutes-as-bitcoin-spikes-above-7400/

Your views for bitcoin price movement in the months to follow?

It was a fake pump i guess, because bitcoin price currently is even below $7000. What was causing it ?
There must be some peoples who wants to control the price in the market.
We are true holders of bitcoin must not dump our coin with this kind of price, the price is on the bottom.
812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Change Your Mind About Bitcoin on: September 30, 2018, 01:34:02 PM
Many people express different types of bitcoin. Someone says Bitcoin is not a currency. Again someone says that Bitcoin is only a bubble, it will never be universally recognized. Some countries have banned Bitcoins so that illegal activities will not be increased in the country. Because some of time bitcoin use for terror works. Some people say that investment in bitcoin is not profitable. There are some other such complaints about Bitcoin.

But the funny thing is that even though there are so many complaints, Bitcoin has become popular all day around the world. I think we need to change our mind about bitcoin's. Cool

Really, people's complaints about Bitcoin are correct?

Bitcoin has been considered as a bubble or ponzi scheme countless times, and you know what ? Bitcoin still exist even now.
So, peoples can think anything of bitcoin, but bitcoin will always be a currency, digital currency. Many peoples has using bitcoin for long time.
Because of that, bitcoin value keep increasing every years.
813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do now on: September 29, 2018, 04:15:36 PM
Some people say hold your crypto,  some says sell immediately that holding for long is useless.
What do you believe and practice?

I think it will be confusing if you ask every peoples about their opinion whether to sell or hold your coins.
It is all depends on yourself. If you think you find a better projects or coins than your current holdings, then just sell your coins.
But if you believe the coin you hold is a good coin, do not sell it now. You won't know if your coin value can increasing later.
814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What coin do I need to invest in on: September 29, 2018, 04:05:07 PM
Please I want to invest in some coin but it seems that the market are red which coin should I buy now

We should invest in a good coin like bitcoin or ripple. As long they have a good price trend in the market, then there will be a possibility they will rising in near time. It will be good too if you investing on coin with a good project, but still have low market cap, because it still have much space for the coin to rising.
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Whitepaper is copied,What do you think about the white paper plagiarism? on: September 29, 2018, 03:54:40 PM
Plagiarism is a criminal act, no different from stealing from others. We must prevent it.
Many scam ICO's are plagiarizing the other's legit ICO and made many investors scammed by them.
Any kind of plagiarism should be punish because it can give other peoples problems.
816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption for better life in future . on: September 28, 2018, 07:12:28 AM
Well, every one want to be a millionaire, this is the dream of everyone, no harm in it. Henry Ford did not make a conveyor for the man he did to produce cheaper cars.Innovations come from attempts to bypass competition and win.
Although this is partly our own mistake. You can not always blame others. For example, I mentioned that we can not spend bitcoin to buy what you want. The question is, did we really see if it's impossible to buy this thing using bitcoins or are you making a guess? Because I've seen a lot of people who just assumed they can not afford to waste their time, but they could.but also we know bitcoin adoption as a currency is not yet great,, is also part of our error. For example, how many times have you asked the seller you are using bitcoin? We need to start with ourselves and insist on acceptance, and then expect others to follow

This is the dream of many pioneers and enthusiasts for ,long run, , but  it will be near-impossible to get the coin into the
mainstream economy short-term,but with time it adoption will increase.Even I, who started late in the game , wanted to see the Bitcoin as a currency of work, and not just some speculative assets.

Bitcoin adoption will be occurred in the future if we keep using bitcoin and support it as a currency.
If we can use bitcoin in our activity to buy or sell things, then there will be a possibility every peoples will use it as a real currency later.
Currently most peoples use bitcoin only for trading or speculating, the amount of peoples who used it for payment system is lesser.
817  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you Think the True Value of Bitcoin Is? on: September 28, 2018, 06:50:51 AM
In December the price of Bitcoin was near $20,000. Today, the price hovers around $6,500.

Which is the real value? Do you think the market is telling us the Truth?

We must understand that the launch of the CME's Bitcoin futures contracts and subsequent rise and fall of Bitcoin was not a coincidence.

The implementation of futures contracts on gold and silver have had similar effects. One needs to only wonder why was the launch of gold futures contracts was implemented at the same time the Gold Reserve Act was completely repealed. Americans were allowed to own gold again on January 1, 1975. Comex gold futures launched in December of 1974.

https://www.sunshineprofits.com/gold-silver/dictionary/comex-gold/

*Also, a Wikileaks document shows direct intent to suppress the price of gold:

https://wikileaks.org/plusd/cables/1974LONDON16154_b.html

I would beg any who are interested or invested in cryptocurrency to please do more research on the topic of price manipulation - you should come to the realization that the price in fiat of these assets does not matter, simply because it is inaccurate.

If you understand the banking system in the U.S. and understand that Gold, Silver and Bitcoin have true, intrinsic and persisting value you will understand the motive and that without question these assets are manipulated.

What is the true price of Bitcoin? $20,000? $6,500? I do not know.

What I do know is that it is worth more than the intrinsically worthless U.S. dollar we force ourselves to use on a daily basis, so I will be buying as much as I can while the price is this low.

I believe the price of a Bitcoin is much higher than $20,000 - but we may be in for a long while of manipulation before we see it again.

The best we can do is to buy as much as we can to make it as difficult as possible for the price to be suppressed. Once they lose control.....to quote all the Redditors and memes - "Then Moon."

The true value of bitcoin ? Im afraid that i won't be able to define it. Bitcoin price has been built by the buyers and holders since 2009.
So, the the real value will depends on the market condition. If there are many peoples buy bitcoin, then it will keep rising because most peoples after buy it, don't want to sell it lower.
818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am most worried now on: September 28, 2018, 05:00:55 AM
That was the collapse of ETH, because most of the airdrop and bounty programs were through the ERC-20 platform. Do you think the same thing happened?

I think this is not the real cause for the collapse of ETH. If because airdrops and bounties the token price goes down, then that will be the company mistake because they cannot prevent the price of the token. If the company not paying hunters in ETH or BTC, they should buyback their token if hunters sell coin with low price so their price will not falling. You cannot prohibit hunters to not sell their token, they doing bounties and promote the company because they need money.
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market unstable on: September 27, 2018, 04:34:51 AM
This few month , crypto market is unstable.
going up and coming down..

so what is your move right now ?
- keep it and trade or
- buy while is cheap or
- sell it ? Huh

I intend to buy it but scared will drop again. confuse

Of course it will not going stable because it is cryptocurrency, the most volatile currency in the world.
If you trading crypto, it will be different from trading stocks because cryptocurrency value often to change.
Just buy it and no need to scared if you want to buy. Currently, crypto is on the bottom position, so there is high possibility you will gain later.
820  Other / Archival / Re: ICO without whitepaper on: September 27, 2018, 04:14:18 AM
Personally , I don't think there should be an ICO without whitepaper. The whitepaper bridges the gap between an investor and a company. Can we say a ICO without a whitepaper is a scam? Or what can you say about an ICO without whitepaper

If there is no whitepaper, how can investors know the details about the project ? The problem and the opportunities of the project must be explained to build the investor's trust on it. It maybe not a scam project, but if they don't want to pay people for creating white paper, how they can progress the development later ?
