So...now that we know where we all stand.
I'm looking forward to testing the InstantX Wallet with darksend
Have some wine before testing for added fun, after all you can't lose any coins in testnet if you get a bit too tipsy, just confirm the wallet has testnet written at the top and is orange in colour before flinging out thousands to everybody ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

I spotted a proud Monero wallet holder going for a leisurely ride today ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Is he having engine problems or merely short on wood to burn ? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fflashbackfab.com%2FWordpress%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2012%2F07%2FSteam1.jpg&t=663&c=HS0ErQewOsPnbw) Hey, I object!!!! There is NO monero bagholder that is cool enough to have a steam bike, That's just beyond cool! I'm in awe! Cool on the outside to some but depends how quickly you want to get there, if you're going coast to coast across Canada for example, you may want to arrive before the New Horizons probe gets to Pluto for sight seeing (e.g. 9 years) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fdashtalk.org%2Fproxy.php%3Fimage%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fi.imgur.com%252FbtlyvZB.jpg%26hash%3D08efada1772f100bf3d509c103be00e3&t=663&c=WDfmmUCDaHAi7w)

I bet 10 Dash that Smoothie or another Monero dev will be fudding MAID within 14 days of today, anything from it's a scam to the tech doesn't work...any takers?
I like betting, so for a laugh ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) A proposition: I will bet you 2 Dash that the Monero spot price will be under half before June 1st 2015, do you want to take the other side of the bet for fun ?? For the record, lets say 1 Monero = 0.0025 btc on 27th April 2015 so we're looking at less than 0.00125 btc before the start of June.

We would like to intervene this discussion as a merchant accepting Dash (formerly Darkcoin) for more than a year.
When we evaluate a cryptocoin in order to accept it in our store, there are several parameters including market cap, market volume, volatility (while favoring less volatility), blockchain age, blockchain Tao sync speed ratio, system and algorithm (while favoring PoW), developers' and community's activity (both in terms of social and financial aspect), fairness of distribution of coins.
We should admit that Darkcoin is the first cryptocoin that secures its place in our store after Bitcoin and if Bitcoin was not the first coin in the scene with its wide recognition, it would be in the second place. In other words, no other cryptocoins that is accepted in our store, including Litecoin and Dogecoin, has a guaranteed place and may be dropped out.
This is the only coin that I have mined, followed and got involved with from almost the first day, it has constantly improved and come out with developments that were totally unexpected such as instantX transaction locking and masternode voting for funds donations on development projects. I have added your website to my favourites for future reference. Btw, you have reasonable prices on the small gold 1 gram purchases, is usually way too overpriced for a fair purchase, have you seen what they charge in some airports, people have no idea what they should be paying on the spot price! ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) N.B. made a small correction if you don't mind ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Can anyone explain, if say the cryptsy account holder sends the coin to another account holder, this is a near instantaneous feature so can not allow for confirmations as such, so do the coins follow after (more slowly) or do they stay in the original address and are merely marked down as now owned by the second account holder there after?
Address balances do not reflect account balances. They are only monitored for deposits. After that all transactions take place in the database. The transactions going out are other users withdrawals. If someone deposits btc and buys DRK then they have no DRK address to pull from. Deposits all go to the same wallet. And the wallet chooses the "best" inputs (aka deposits ) to make up the withdrawal transaction Thanks for explaining what I suspected, so its no point keeping an eye on the specific address as ownership may have changed. Just want to say Jiggytom is a respected member of the Dash community and has been around for some time and that most of us (me included) do not have have many coins and typically only have 1 or 2 masternodes and thats it, so your help is gratefully received (and noticed)

I think that's how, not exactly sure. But that wouldn't explain why they didn't take both wallets immediately. Maybe have to look for other wallet.dat files or something..but I thought I was pretty careful.
They would have to paste the wallet into their roaming folder and update, then unlock, empty and possibly wait 1 confirmation, it would take a few minutes per wallet, looks like you were just quick enough on the 2nd one.

Jiggy, how did they get your password? was it on your computer? Are you using a password manager?
Tante, he said already, his gmail account was compromised and the password was stored there.

I did reach out to them...doubt they can do anything
I did have encryption, but they stole my gmail data so I think I may have used the same pw as the encryption one somewhere..and that's on me.
I'm fucked...feel like my life is ruined. I don't know what to do anymore.
Shit, sounds like a targeted hacking ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) Hope the other one is ok. (I did the same for a small bitcoin wallet that was not encrypted thats why I asked, never could work out for sure what caused it so deleted loads of sgminer exes and ended up formating in the end anyway just to make sure)

how could he start MN if his wallet was un-encrypted ? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) I don't understand your point, the wallet does not need to be encrypted and has nothing to do with the masternode starting as such. ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif)

******************HELP***********************
I clicked on a bad exe file and now my funds were stolen from one of the masternodes.
It went to : XbNxYiG8xaMuxdbtfCpqbpTkbzMjaXfagE
They took it out as 2 transactions...one with 19.19 and then 1000 DASH.
Can anyone help in any way?
I've sent my 2nd mn DASH to another address on another laptop.
Am sorry can't help but want to know was your wallet locked at the time with an encryption password or not ? Btw, just had a cryptsy dump of nearly 1k, might be yours ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif)

Offtopic guys but probably a good sign for who had lost on mtgox. https://claims.mtgox.com/edit: if all will go OK there will be some more masternodes ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I must go down in history as the smallest loser ever of Mt Gox because I opened an account not long before the collapse and I transfered only 0.001 btc into the account just to test it out and got refused on the validate account ID check because I'd accidentally scanned my out of date driving license so I could not transfer any money in! Added irony was I even got a letter from the Japanese government asking if I wanted to put a claim in to get my balance back, costing them more in postage than I'd actually lost ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Pretty lucky really it took so long to get a new driving license sent and by then everything had gone bye bye kansas. (still got the letter somewhere, thought of framing it)
