Digaran is not my enemy man hes a poster on a forum.  If I need to look at him as my enemy and I can't respond to accusation nor can I have a life outside the forum then well man I may not be the right bloke for the job after all!

I just asked both of you (in a military manner since i consider P&S as a jungle full of "rebels") to concentrate your efforts on your probably future task rather than arguing each other. Stats are clear, being inactive for a period is normal, otherwise it should rise suspicions Tongue
802  Other / Meta / Re: Who is able and willing to moderate the Politics & Society section? on: April 11, 2018, 11:11:28 PM
he just woke up after 15 days of inactivity or his posts are in sections ignored by me? he isn't showing that much interest anyways.

Not that it is actually any of your business but yes I did take a short break for my spinal decompression surgery a few days ago.  I guess if I can not have a life outside the forum then I will make a bad mod.

Also please note not posting does not mean not logging on and reading etc.

Friendly fire in the camp before the battle is the worst soldierS!
You gotta inspect enemies behind their lines and report them in order to get promoted boyS.
803  Other / Meta / Re: bots posting in the forum on: April 11, 2018, 11:08:30 PM
Do not underestimate the human capacity to write stupidities...
Nevertheless, that case truly looks like a bot, a bad one jaja.

Look at the time between posts, definitely an autobot.
Cyborgs could make also awesome posts with random words but they cannot "study" dozen projects in few minutes Wink

It means that your "friend" is spamming too much while wearing a signature promoting a campaign.
Did your "friend" logged in and continued to make posts with his alt(s) while being banned?

Edit : @LoyceV : aww it is complicated now Tongue
809  Other / Meta / Re: Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ on: April 10, 2018, 05:40:14 PM
I am a little bit confused here, why would you like to know how much it costs?
Unit of evil is shown only when you try to create an account for the first time and is related somehow to the ban recieved by your network. Personally never heard that it is available otherwise.

Currently each unit of evil requires a payment of 4023 satoshi. You only need to pay something if you have 1 or more, though.

Theymos wrote this message in 2014. So I was interested in whether the worth of a unit of evil has changed now.

Thanks for the reply wasn't aware of or maybe i forgot it, i don't remember now.

Interesting. Which projects are being run by OGNasty Tesla PowerWall?

I believe Gunthar means nastymining, take a look here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1783328.0

P.s : if you want to join it then like any other projects in the crypto world, do your search, study the project, ask trusted members that joined it then take your decision.
811  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to invest at $7,000? on: April 10, 2018, 12:25:44 AM
I think that buying around $6300-$6500 is safe and buying between $6500-$7000 could be profitable in medium term. Of course, imo in long term holding is always profitable  Wink

The ranges you point out are too insignificant to be taken seriously, even when it comes to the short term. Everything below the $7000 level is a great short term buy, especially so with the support around the $6000 level. There are obviously no guarantees, but I very much doubt that $6000 will be broken through. Currently the market is being kept around current levels on purposely. For a few days there hasn't been one single dump taking the market down, which on its turn allowed the market to slowly climb up to $7175. At that moment the well known single dump happened taking the market down again -- this is pure manipulation to keep accumulating below $7000 for a longer while....

Indeed.
The ranges cited above are dedicated especially for users trading Bitcoin everyday for quick gain without having to wait too much to buy & sell.
Of course every satoshi under $7000 is valuable, i would go far and say under $10k or even above Wink

Where can I find how much cost is a unit of evil now? Thanks for the answer.

813  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to invest at $7,000? on: April 09, 2018, 05:31:52 PM
Bitcoin price is around $7,000 right now. People are asking me if this is a good time to invest. A couple of days ago the price was around $6,500. That will be a better price to buy Bitcoins: Bitcoin Price. Nevertheless $7,500 is in my opinium still a low price to invest.

I think that buying around $6300-$6500 is safe and buying between $6500-$7000 could be profitable in medium term. Of course, imo in long term holding is always profitable  Wink
814  Other / Meta / Re: Get Donator status by donating 10 BTC on: April 09, 2018, 05:17:46 PM
Are people still donating?

As far as I am aware of, no. The donation page was updated last time in April 2017. Not everyone is affording to pay +$70,000 and mining Bitcoin is not as profitable and easy as before.
815  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to sign a message?! on: April 08, 2018, 03:44:02 PM
Anyone have recomendation for address easy to work, then have to sign a message?

I have no clue how to decipher what you said.
Assuming that you have a bitcoin address in a wallet that allows you to sign messeges (example : Bitcoin core or electrum...), you should follow the tutorial made here by shorena. Put your address, add a personalised message (example : today is April 8, 2018, my name is X (id=xx) from bitcointalk.org) then the wallet will give you a signature that others could verify it.
Remember never reveal your private address to anyone. All you have to do is to post here your Bitcoin address (usually starts with 1xxxx...), your message and the signature provided by the wallet.

817  Other / Meta / Re: Croatian local - new child board request - moderator request on: April 08, 2018, 11:04:20 AM
I don't understand why is @hilariousetc against new child board for the ANN posts. New child board will only bring more readability and organisation to the Altcoins section and it literally doesn't cost anything (except few minutes it takes administrator to create it).

And tons of hours to clean it from useless spammy topics/posts...
I understand how hilarious think but on the other side I am with giving local board their proper subs. I gave a solution, not that perfect, but at least it could nullify potential spam reasons.
818  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: April 08, 2018, 04:12:03 AM
Are you sure these merit points are not mythical?
They've eluded me so far, despite my efforts to only post quality responses and posts.
0 for 65 is an indication that this system doesn't work or isn't fair.
At this rate I haven't even got a reference point to gauge my activities. It appears that I would have to do at least another 650 posts minimum to evolve from a Jr Member to Member with no guarantee that I will even achieve it then.
Doesn't it all seem a bit dodgey and like a sure road to disgruntledness and desertion of the forum by those who have tried their guts out.
I for one will be pointing out the unfairness and imbalances in the system to every Admin and Bounty Campaign manager.

Keep posting in altcoins (tokens/bounties et al.) and off-topic sections then asks why you didn't receive any smerit, is a legitimate question in my distorted opinion.
819  Other / Meta / Re: [Updated 2] Making trust system great again! on: April 08, 2018, 04:04:38 AM
Everyday you come across a fight regarding the trust system, you discover how bad and sometimes how corrupt it is (=abuse of power).
I don't think my proposition is very good but creating an automated way to generate points to increase or decrease trust points of users depending how many people trust them could be considered.
The problem is in long term with the considerable number of alts of many users, forcing 1 ip per trust rating? prohibiting this kind of stuff which could result in permanent ban?
Good luck theymos with this mess...
