801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🔴 ICOBID PLATFORM RELEASED 🌟🔴 GREAT REWARD 🌟🔴 HOLDING FOR REVENUE SHARE on: May 07, 2018, 10:22:07 PM
icob is delisting from cryptopia... i have some icobs where i transfer them?Huh
Store it in the wallet for the mean time, just make sure that there's a connection first. It is also listed on Yobit, sending there is another option, but I can't guarantee that there is no deposit or withdrawal issue.

Yobit have all connection perfect you can deposit their about the price dong worry it will jump back I have bought more coins in low today as I know it will rise back
It will be fine as long as there is a connection, problem will start once the wallet stop syncing. I still don't recommend taking such risk seeing how things are going now, regardless if the price will rise or not.

The decision is still up to the supporters though, since we all have a different perspective. Just keep in mind that if there will be a problem, no one could help. The dev isn't here and Yobit support is not even replying to their customers.
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin with same token symbol - advice needed on: May 07, 2018, 09:52:30 PM
I need to add both of the tokens (as customised tokens) with the same symbol but MEW only allows me to add one, even thought they have different contract address and decimal number. So, as far as I can see I can only add one of them.
Could you please share what tokens are you trying to add so we can check? I just tried with SMT. There are two SMT available, so I tried to add them as custom token in MEW and it just works fine. I even found out that there's one default token with the same symbol, so I'm seeing 3 on the list after adding the 2.

803  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is Hitbtc a scam? on: May 07, 2018, 09:27:31 PM
Yes it was .09 btc not the issue I've checked it 20 times believe me it is not on my end it is on their end I withdrew from their site about 5 or 6 times they are unresponsive for the support tickets I opened and I have my btc stuck on their site for almost a whole week now. This is not good business on their part, horrible customer service and unreliable site.
It's definitely a problem with HitBTC. It happened several times in the past to several users.

Have you opened a support ticket already? If not, I suggest you to do so for them to assist you by resending an email manually or check what was the problem. Most likely they will suggest you to check first the spam and other folders in your email plus make sure emails from them are not blacklisted. Since you already did, add that to your ticket for them to know and give another solution.
804  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: May 07, 2018, 01:39:55 PM

806  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it advisable to base upon the updates of popular people? on: May 06, 2018, 03:18:27 PM
Consider it, but DON'T depend or base your decision with ONLY that. Just because it came from a popular people/analysts doesn't mean that it will happen. Their popularity doesn't guarantee success in trading. Do your own research too about the market, project, coin status, etc. in addition to that news and do the final decision based on all of the info you gathered.
807  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: May 06, 2018, 09:06:34 AM
For $500 grand I better get a house and new car with VIP status lol. The owner of this site isngreedy

Don't value Bitcoin in fiat... try this 1BTC = 1BTC

They are doing this since 2011...... when 1 BTC = $31.91.... so good morning!

Even that is to much.
There's really a high difference in fiat value if you compare today and in the past, that's why I don't think it's worth it to pay that much just for the reason of having a VIP status plus ability to add a custom title under the username. Well, that's only my opinion.

Neither theymos nor any member here is forcing anyone to donate. You're free to go and buy a house and new car, it's your money anyway. Cool It also seems that the forum doesn't need a donation as of the moment.
808  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: warning, phishing sites in google search on: May 06, 2018, 08:03:22 AM
As I have mentioned on the other thread about the same issue, it would be a big help you'll report these Phishing sites on google.

Please report any Phishing page that you'll see in Google search results at https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/?hl=en
Reference with detailed info: Prevent & report phishing attacks

Since you already installed an ad block, just report the one you saw yesterday. It would be a relief if those sites will be taken down right away (not just the ad, but the site itself).

Installing ad block wasn't an assurance that you'll be safe with phising attacks, because some feature of those intruder's softwares were highly dangerous. They have their own stealth program which can ignore preventive softwares such as ad block. However, let me suggest a trusted and reliable antivirus software that can protect you from this kind of circumstances that's merely possible to happen anytime. Eset nod32 antivirus can help you all of these phising matters, it can protect and defend your privacy especially the browsing activities you had will be closely monitored and am confidently conclude that it made my whole pc system smooth for years.
No one said that there's an assurance though. He installed it to prevent seeing or accidentally clicking phishing sites on Google Ads, not particularly to be safe in all phishing sites out there.

Anyway, the person himself still need to be cautious and don't just depend on whatever app/software he has. Even an anti virus (regardless if it's Eset, Norton, BitDefender, etc.) cannot protect you/your PC 100%.  Cheesy

What is this mockery? We waited 6 months. The reference in the spreadsheet does not lead to MEW, but leads to Mycrypto.com. I have not an account on this site and I'm not sure if this method is safe at all. Why can't you just list tokens to an address like all other campaigns do?
I never figured out how to get my bounty tokens out. I do not have an account on My Crypto, my address is tied to MEW Huh Sad
MEW is an interface/client. You have your private key and that's the only thing you need to open your wallet in any other client like MyCrypto, no need for an account.

it seems like I see some people on this project having problems about payments, maybe you should be patient waiting for payment from this project and do not regard this project as a fraud.
I don't think being patient in waiting is appropriate in this case. What AUC team did is let the bounty participants to claim the bounty tokens by themselves, unlike in other projects where the team is the one who send it. I think participants got confused because as stated in their blog, after clicking the signed message, it should be directed in MEW, but it's directed in MyCrypto rather. There has been no clarification about the concern that's why several users ended up not getting their tokens until now.
810  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: May 06, 2018, 04:15:09 AM
50 BTc donation? Is that 50 coins or 50 sat? If it is coins than becoming a VIP would cost half a million dollars.
It is 50 BTC indeed. It is not based on fiat conversion, so regardless of the fiat value the price will remain the same unless theymos make a change. Oh and as per hilariousandco said last time (quoted below, he's referring to Donator status), the answer will be same for VIP afaik.

I clarified. It's 10btc. What's not to understand? The price was 10 bitcoins back in the day and won't be changed due to it being unfair to those who donated at the time.

812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: May 05, 2018, 10:59:26 PM
is byteball listed on solume.io? it is a good site to spread the voice about this crypto
I've seen byteball there (link). It would be good if we will see it in the main page (trending coins), but ofcourse it depends on the social volume.
813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin with same token symbol - advice needed on: May 05, 2018, 10:28:11 PM
If you're worried that the balances of the two tokens will be mixed, it will not, so you don't need to do anything. As long as they have different token contract addresses, it will be separated. Just don't be confused when the time comes that you need to send them on exchanges.
814  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HitBTC disappear with general deposit of clients on: May 04, 2018, 10:38:56 PM
deposit eth with contracts support and only realised while looking at the transaction that the eth are not credited to my hitbtc account due to this fact.

ticket no. #287606

it's really annoying to realise that eth just went down in a whoosh today and there's hardly anything i can do to protect my savings.
 Sad  Angry
They will credit it manually, if how long will it take I'm not sure. Since you already sent a ticket, all you need to do is wait until they see it and process the transaction.

They should put a note on the page about deposits sent via contract, to inform users before making any transactions and avoid such a hassle for both (user and HitBTC).
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: UNIFY [UNIFY] - THE NEXT GENERATION OF CROWDFUNDING [POS, LOW SUPPLY] on: May 04, 2018, 06:11:02 PM
How can I get your roadmap, devs
You can either check the road map in this PDF file or directly in the site https://www.unify.today/#ROADMAP along with other info about the project.
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: pending withdrawal on: May 04, 2018, 05:38:46 PM
I never used the site, but it seems that the problem often happens there in Qryptos. I saw this reddit thread posted last Feb with the same issue, Eth withdrawal processing for days.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Minexcoin - A new era of payments on: May 03, 2018, 11:48:18 PM
What happend to the minexcoin blog? Can't access it now. Why it was suspended by medium? Anything you got that you can share to us?
I noticed it too when visiting MNX blog
Can't believe their account got suspended. I think it has something to do with the new standards/requirements by Medium regarding Cryptocurrencies. They have posted Dos and Don'ts for companies announcing ICOs, coins or tokens, and as stated in their blog (quoted below)

Posts and accounts which do not meet these standards may be considered spam and are subject to suspension, depending on context.

Just saw today that IDH already got listed on Cryptopia. https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=IDH_BTC
The team is not so active here to announce, but they did on their social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Telegram)
819  Other / Archival / Re: Be careful when searching at Google on: May 03, 2018, 08:11:06 PM
That's why I don't really trust Google ads because it's not filtered (legit, scam, phishing site), especially if it's about crypto. Those who do not pay so much attention to the search results would probably be a victim.

I remember someone posted a thread before with a similar situation. Though he was not searching for a bitcoin wallet, but an exchange. There's nothing wrong in using google to look for a site, just be cautious and always double check the URL before putting log in credentials.

820  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: hitbtc.com thieves and scammers on: May 03, 2018, 11:17:32 AM
It seems that locking HitBTC accounts with large amount of BTC inside become frequent. See this thread Warning - Hitbtc KYC, possibly insolvent, 20 btc locked, HitBTC replied there, stating about their AML policy.

Too bad that after sending all of that, they still look for more. They really want to know the origin of the funds. Since you mentioned in your conversation that you sold your car and apartment, doesn't that mean a bill of sale or something like that would be a valid proof of where the cash came from?

I hope with all these scam accusations, other users will not deposit large amounts of BTC in HitBTC (also in other exchanges) to avoid such problem.
