801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why all coins are dropping? on: June 21, 2018, 03:28:25 PM
The reason for the current decline lies in the presence of a negative news background and a decrease in investors' interest in investing funds.
Most coins are but not every coin in the market. We have to understand that at this point, the entire market tend to react to bitcoin's movements. As far as i've noticed, btc needs to be at a positive status for alts to surge as well, whether it's a slow steady climb or a pump like the one in december. We all know that btc isn't the only one that went to the moon that time. Negative news about bitcoin doesn't only affect itself but the entire market as well.
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRON (TRX) is going crazy. on: June 20, 2018, 04:28:03 PM
Honestly im not expecting so much, expectations will only make us disappointed when something not as we plan comes,
what we can do is promote and help our community, to make the token special, significant to crypto world
which everyone will be excited to have or to hold this token, do some topics and make some videos showing how good it is
will help make the value more higher, but for me this coin is special the head is hands on, no one is ever dedicated like justin

I may be one of those that believe tron is a good project though i think it's not really to make profit for the shorter term. I've always thought that it's for a long term investment when i read their whitepaper and i think the team behind trx is pretty equipped to make it happen. The price may not be showing it's potential since it didn't really make any significant move after mainnet but hey, who knows. I'm in it for the long run.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: weak period for cryptocurrency, do you agree? on: June 20, 2018, 04:23:55 PM
I think it's normal and when the value in dip , it's because the bithumb reported a hack of their servers.
If you just joined on crypto trading, you still not late !

Just purchase some , believe and Hold , the Profit will come on the way !

I think the movement last december caused more harm than good since with the exception of april, 2018 has been more of a correction for that crazy run. We all thought that may would start the ascent for the market but eventually we're going to dip a lot more. So I guess we can all agree that this market is weak for the moment and we're all waiting for that rally to come. Hopefully before the year ends.
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How long does the market fall like this? on: June 20, 2018, 04:11:06 PM
indeed the price in the charts continues to decline and redness, I think it is impossible to see the green market back in the near future. the whales are the ones that cause prices to fall as they do today. but, I think it will not last long. the price in the market will be green again after the coming bullish in August.

There's no point really in trying to figure out when this market will start to move upward since we cannot foresee what can cause it to move that way or to drop. Like what happened today. Bitcoin has been slowly moving towards the 7k point when the south korean exchange bithumb announced that it's security was compromised. Though the effect isn't as drastic as i expected, btc dropped back to the 6.7k mark. Just goes to show that there may be instances that will happen that will affect how this market would move so we can't tell which direction it will go
805  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why market is down and What to Expect on: June 18, 2018, 04:12:15 PM
Bitcoin and the entire market have been taking a beating since the 20k run started to decline. It's mostly downhill from there up to this point and people have made a lot of expectations and predictions about when bitcoin will recover, some even speculating when a new all time high would be achieved. With most rumors and news about btc leaning on the negative, and with people already being aware that this market can plunge this way, I don't see why we should be surprised that this market is acting like this.
806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: False fear about BITCOIN. on: June 18, 2018, 04:07:11 PM
If you read news like this https://www.ccn.com/mysterious-asian-whale-begins-funneling-funds-back-to-huobi/ that there is someone who has mysteriously bought a large amount of bitcoin. Then sell. All I can read is that Bitcoin has a fan of "Giant" who likes to invest and sell Bitcoin. This means Bitcoin will continue to run. What to worry about? What I do not want is if there is no Bitcoin buying and selling activity. Because that means Bitcoin no longer has any interest. That's what I should be afraid of.
This is just My Opinion Personally. Please fix it if it's wrong.

If there indeed was someone that purchased that large amount then there should be a bit of a market movement that can be felt a little but i don't think there was. Though for me it's a fact that whales can really influence the market movement, I don't think any of them has made any significant move so far. I just don't want to make it more complicated for myself so i don't actually fear a further drop at the moment. My btcs will remain stocked where it was for likely until next year when all this has passed
807  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will explode! on: June 18, 2018, 04:02:49 PM
Sudden price decrease keeps happening these past few days and the same scenario happens last year before the hard fork in August.
I feel something will happen few months for now, and I think a great pump which will mark another history will have to explode soon.
I want to be positive on this and keep my investment growing. How bout you guys?

To be positive is something one can do in this situation i think. Or if you can afford to take a vacation while everything seems to be diving. I just don't want to expect the same movement bitcoin did to end 2017 since the circumstances are different now than last year. Perhaps a positive run by the latter part of the year to at least go beyond 10k usd would be nice but personally it's unlikely or it would be very foolhardy to expect another all time high this 2018. Just avoid any expectations would probably be best
808  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I got scammed. I want to go after this asshat. on: June 18, 2018, 03:55:06 PM
Tough luck for you dude. No way anyone could tap into an anonymous wallet and I don't think if there'd be such, that they'd post the information in a public forum. Of course nasty people can use that same information to hack into innocent people's wallets right? And i'm sure there's no way for that now. It's a lesson learned the hard way, if that's what actually happened at all in the first place.
809  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not blindly trust telegram trading signals. on: June 17, 2018, 02:41:08 PM
Many of the telegram groups which give signals are run by the same people, I have noticed on multiple occasions of the groups giving the same signals. Many of the groups also conduct coordinated pump and dumps, and they usually send it in all the groups to gather a greater audience. Although some of the signals turn out to be correct, always do your own research before making a trade.

These telegram groups are likely targeting newbie traders who don't want to make efforts in studying and researching the market. I'll admit i was following signals from a couple of groups before and i did at times end up with good trades, but mostly i'd have to wait for a long time which made me think that it probably was simply the way it works and that i could've just held for profit myself without following their signals. I still keep a few telegrams groups since most of them give updates about what's going on in the market but i don't look out for their given signals anymore.
810  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin won't grow fast as it was in 2017 on: June 17, 2018, 02:36:32 PM
A quick recap of cryptocred’s ideas https://medium.com/@cryptocreddy/bitcoin-bull-market-considerations-de3aa0b57029

First of all, I’ll say that I’m confident that BTC will reach new heights, however, I think that this new growth in an upcoming bull market won’t be as rapid as it was in 2017. There are some reasons:

1) In 2017 majority of people just knew about a revolutionary blockchain technology, and was fascinated by it. Nowadays there is a different situation — this word is now on hearing and people won’t go here just for a new technology

2) In 2017 people knew Bitcoin only from his growth-side. If the crisis of 2013 was recalled, it seemed like something long forgotten. Now every newcomer will remember crisis of 2018 and will think 100 times before investing big money here.

3) From the technical point, the price grew in a free flight —  there were no any resistance levels. Now, after this market dump, there are a lot of resistance levels have been appeared and the price will have to break all of them

4) Probably, many of people who now have minus balances will want to exit of crypto to fix their funds from losses as soon as they became green.

If you found this post useful, I will be really appreciated for +merit.

You've probably summed it up best in points 1,2 and 4 dude and I've the same thinking. What happened to btc on that last quarter of 2017 usually happens to ICOS that get listed and even they don't get pumped that hard for a long time. Not a few people lost huge amounts or currently holding with a deep negative and that served as a lesson for those that got in or those that just planning to get in to btc. Though same as you, I'm also positive about bitcoin's future regardless of what's happening to it now.
811  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is technical analysis useful? on: June 17, 2018, 02:29:49 PM
Do you believe in the reliability of information obtained by technical analysis on crypto-currency market?
Technical analysis are good when it comes to stock market, and also you may apply this in crypto in some parts but not recommended to rely this information to compared the charts of each other. in this case you need to know every indicators so you have more backup strategies if your technique doesn't work.

Right. I've seen charts this 2018 coming from a lot of so called "expert" technical analysts and chart readers and by far, most of their predictions are way off. I mean yeah you can look at the past movements and base your analyses there but it's probably less than 50% of the time that you'll get a decent or close hit. I don't have anything against technical analysis and i'd admit it may have given some people fortunes but most of the time, bitcoin simply doesn't follow that.
812  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dangerous price area on: June 17, 2018, 02:24:47 PM
hey guys, Bitcoin is moving really dangerously to 6000/62000 price level.
If we break this level most of mining farms have to stop mining or continue to produce at loss...
this would be a really nefarious scenario!!!
who thinks Bitcoin will break psychological 6k level? what could happen then? any opinion or analysis???

We've already seen the price touch the 6k point last february and i don't think it's a reason for concern for long term traders. Honestly, I wouldn't even feel bad if it goes below 5k. Miners have been mining btc even when the price was way below that and i think people are just psyched due to the decline from 20k price range. One thing is to look at it a bit farther. You'll see that it isn't that bad if you remove the unnatural movement last 4th quarter of 2017.
813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I do not panic when the market falls on: June 16, 2018, 01:24:02 PM
You are right to expect the crypto market to keep rising. Everyone acts like it is dead right now because the prices are falling, but after a crazy bull run like we had last year this is only natural. The overall trajectory of the market is still positive
Right. Just as we believe that the bitcoin or coins we hold will increase in the future, we should not be afraid to see prices fall. Currently, I am losing 50% of capital with HAVVEN. But I would never sell this coin if it had not risen to $ 2

A big factor why people panic is because they get in to crypto expecting to get rich and earn easy money. This mostly apply to newbies who also greatly affect the market when they panic sell. IF you're investing for the right reason then you're likely to make essential research about where your money is going and you'll know that crypto isn't something that will generate easy money for you. For long time crypto traders and investors, market falls are something that doesn't really warrant a lot of concern. It's either an opportunity to make more or something that they'd just let slip by since they're in for the long run.
814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why wouldn't you invest on ripple? on: June 12, 2018, 09:50:03 AM
I think one of the reasons why people do not really show interest in ripple is because it is supported by the bank which is not a form of crypto as cryptocurrency is decentralized and the rate at which ripple price rise is very slow that even coin that came into existence after it has higher prices but ripple is a good and stable coin to hold because it has good features.
I wouldn't say that people don't show interest in xrp since it actually enjoys quite a huge following. Many people don't really look beyond whether it's centralized or decentralized. Profitability is what they're after and thinking that ripple doesn't go against banks tend to give some sort of security with crypto investments. I don't have anything against a crpyto backed by banks and i hold ripple as much as i do with other coins in the top 5.

817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: June 09, 2018, 01:00:56 PM
Congrats to GSW. Look at that Swaggy P got a championship. Also kudos to Mcgee everytime he enter the court he is doing good. No one can beat this team in best of 7 series as long as no one will leave. Lebron got swept twice now in Finals. If he want to stand a chance against this team, he should leave Cavs.
From the start already, I know that Warriors will win this season but I didnt expect that they will sweep the Cavs. They didnt won even one game and I think that is a shame. They swept the top seeded raptors and they have swept by the Warriors.

Now the question for thr next season is where will Lebron James go because for sure, he will leave Cavs now. There are many options such as 76ers, Heat, Lakers, Celtics, Warriors too..

I don't see any reason to be ashamed of in losing in the finals. The cavs have nothing to be ashamed of for losing to an obviously better team. Two game 7 wins in the post season, a not so high caliber team if you remove Lebron, underperforming starters and bench, they've reached that far and they should be holding their heads high. A sweep was a little unexpected though but the fact that they topped the eastern conference and they themselves are champions already, is an accomplishment in itself. If Lebron leaves, which is also expected, it would take a long time before this franchise can get deep in the playoffs like the past 4 years.
818  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Beware of Binance!! on: June 09, 2018, 07:42:56 AM
@crairezx20 Thanks! And yes... I have my secret code save.

@richardsNY  I know! But some times you take all the precautions and its the exchange that fails... I guess nothing is foolproof

@ThePunisher49X  Well this I tell you.... I used the SMS method with Binance for almost 2 or 3 months and it worked like a charm!! And I am in the Americas...

I thought about that as well before even when binance indicated that 2fa through text is only for those located in china and i decided against it. Probably the glitch was that you were able to receive sms even when you're in the US. Glitches tend to get detected in time. It's good that you're already using google authenticator, just make sure you have a separate copy of the keys in case you lose your phone or it gets broken. Binance is still the best exchange for me personally
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: John McAfee Announces 2020 Presidential Bid to Serve Crypto Community. on: June 09, 2018, 07:08:57 AM
Nothing is impossible, he might try it or he just raise his popularity. by bringing crypto to political events I think this is bad. or he's doing the latest project promotion ... Huh
Two intentions at one presidential race. That's possible that if ever he won't win then he's just going to promote cryptocurrency all over the states in the US.

I can't see that there is something bad on what's going to do but he has a lot of time by joining the candidacy just for the promotion of crypto's?

He may want to become the president and at the same time, promoting crypto is one of is goals while he's campaigning.

The chances of him winning is probably smaller than his prediction of a 1 million btc value in 2020. Though of course it's obvious that more focus would be directed to cryptocurrencies if in case the old man becomes president. Mcafee's becoming more and more radical if he thinks there's a chance for what he's trying to achieve both for crypto and politics.
820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government and Bitcoin on: April 28, 2018, 06:19:09 AM
bitcoin is a digital currency . it is money in the digital world. inorder to make it stable currency it should be utilized by many number of people for a longer time. when something becomes famous it is automatically used by several other people. the government will recognize its value when the whole world starts using it and hence it will be stable.

When the government has recognize bitcoin, he will ask the high tax for that. Government always make a tax for anything from his people. I think bitcoin doesn't need intervention from government.
That is the problem when bitcoin accept by the government, this will be hard for them to regulate it. Giving high tax is impossible there is anonymity of the accounts. They maybe add tax to the establishments that using bitcoin as payment to them so that the government can get into it where can be use for the growth of the economy.

Bitcoin and crypto can't go full throttle without the government allowing it. The regulations that most governments will implement isn't just for taxes but it will make sure that certain problems with crypto can be addressed. It's inevitable that it'll be taxed but i think that's a small price to pay for this industry to be able to move forward well into the future.
