I am eagerly waiting to watch Bangladesh vs Pakistan match today. There is no doubt that Pakistan team is very strong. And I would say Pakistan has the best bowling line-up in the world right now. Im also feeling the same as you, being so skeptical about the performance from napoli. It's different from last season caused by napoli was always winning the game till the early matches of season. Even though garcia implemented the same strategy but he can't engage to the players like what spalletti did last season. Napoli has not faced yet the big clubs like duo milan or juventus. The way for napoli to get the trophy will become even higher starting from now. I don't expect a lot from Napoli this year. Napoli performed well last season. Their coach has done a great job. Based on my analyzation if garcia is not bringing significant impact to the club. He is still using the same mechanism used by spalletti last season. Obviously the top teams are getting better without a doubt. However, to be fair to them the level they reached is not the part that should be considered good, it's the growth that they had which is the success. Right now they are not even a top 10 league in my book, and yet they are acted as if top 5-6 right now with all the media attention they are getting.
For example, I would prefer Belgium league more than this, I bet they are better but for some reason they are not considered as good as Saudi league by the fans, all because of the names. Just names do not get you wins, you need those names to play well too, we will see if they will actually do fine. I think it is to start thinking about a serious club world cup type of thing by Uefa, UCL is great but we need a global one.
The league in Saudi Arabia is still not very developed. The Saudi national football team is also quite weak. Even the Saudi League has come into the discussion after taking the world's best star player like Ronald to the league. But the Saudi League is changing itself quite quickly. You won't find any similarities between the current league and the Saudi league of two years ago. They have added big star players like Benzema, Sadio Mane, Neymar and Ronaldo to their league. They are spending a lot of money. And its size is incredibly large. But they are starting to reap the benefits. The overall performance of the teams has improved. I watched the Ittihad vs Al Hilal match that day. Both teams have performed well. After trailing 3-1 at the end of the first half, Al Hilal won the match 4-3. Napoli will do fine, they are not going to end up doing terrible that easily. This is the team that won the title with a lot of points difference last year, and now we are talking about something terrible right away? It's better to let the team be for the time being and the yare going to do a lot better. This is what happened with Rose Namajunas finger in first rounds, and after that it was hard to expect better performance from her. Stuff like this is happening all the time even during training but it is much harder when it happens during important fight and you have to pretend that everything is ok.  I think I have mentioned a minimum of 5 times here that UFC gloves suck. This is all due to gloves. Change the gloves for more closed and there wont be broken or dislocated fingers, or eye pokes. Frankly, this injury does not look like it might affect the fight. If this is just dislocated, corner guys could fix that, if the joints are destroyed, then just squeeze fist more hard. People fight with broken ribs, bones or face bones, have huge cuts. I dont give discount for her being a female. She knew what kind of sport she is in. weird. actually, UFC gloves need to be changed. normal gloves, or maybe I should compare it with boxing gloves, and while compared to the boxing gloves, the UFC gloves are different. I think if Spence will change coach, I wouldn't get Roy Jones though. He is a good boxer, one of the legends no doubt, but I don't think he has what it takes to be a great coach. If I'm not mistaken, he was the trainer of Chris Eubanks against Liam Smith in the first fight and Chris lost.
So he dump Jones, and then goes to the trainer of Crawford, BoMoc. Now Eubanks gets his revenge against Liam this weekends. So I do agree, Derrick James is a great trainer, however, Crawford is too much for Spence that I doubt that even who ever coach him that time, will have a hard time trying to figure out Bud Crawford. And I doubt that there is similarities between AJ and Spence that they need to switch trainers.

And Casimero is probably doing this because he wants to have a go at him even though he might not deserve it. I am definitely not going to say that he does not deserve the fight. It is a different conversation if he actually deserves the fight or not. But if there is a big fighter who can actually be a payday for other fighters, there will be a lot of fighters talking trash about him. So I don’t know if he is going to take Casimero seriously or not. Maybe if Casimero wins his fight on 12th October, he will get his chance. |
