801  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Current scare affect the decision making of starters. on: August 23, 2023, 11:55:45 AM
Not only newcomers, but even those who have been here for a long time and have not learned their lessons or observed the market closely. There's only one simple principle that I always follow, and I'm consistently profitable with it: buy when the market dumps and sell when the market pumps. This process occurs frequently in this highly volatile market.

The thing is, if people panic, the price becomes cheaper, and that's when whales take advantage of their influence. Later, they can easily pump the market to make quick profits.
802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to verify license Numbers? on: August 22, 2023, 01:11:39 PM
~snip~

If you think that the presence of a license at the casino is a factor that indicates the honesty of the casino owner, then you are wrong. In my opinion, the reputation of the casino carries much more information about the integrity of the casino than the license. Sometimes I play in casinos that do not have a license at all, because they do not want to obey the regulators. For them, the experience of the client is important, not replenishing the treasury in the jurisdiction in which he works.

I believe reputation and licensing are two different things. For instance, a casino can have a license but still possess a bad reputation. However, most of the time, when a casino is considered to have a good reputation, it is already assumed that they also possess a license. A license is a fundamental requirement for running a business, especially a casino. Without a license, a business can appear shady, as there's no assurance that we can hold them accountable in case they decide to engage in scams.

I appreciate that OP has brought up this topic. Many gambling sites claim to have a license, but without the means to verify it, we can't fully trust them. For the benefit of gamblers, I believe licenses information should be made public and accessible for inquiry. This would also aid in eliminating scam casinos from the crypto world.
803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: finally achieved $1,000,000 goal (kind of) on: August 22, 2023, 11:48:09 AM
When you say 'finally,' does it mean your ultimate goal has already been achieved? If the answer is yes, I think you should stop gambling and consider taking that $1 million elsewhere, perhaps investing it to grow it in a less risky way, or enjoying some of your winnings as a reward for yourself.

Sometimes, my friend, luck can make you greedy too. So, I suggest you calm down a bit and reevaluate your goals to make the right decision. Don't let your emotions drive you towards something you might regret in the future.
804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'll always tell people about bitcoin on: August 22, 2023, 11:13:44 AM
Because of the risk that is in bitcoin it won't stop me from telling people about bitcoin which will better their life if they found it interesting.

Bitcoin, in general, is not too risky. Its level of risk depends on how you use it. If you are using Bitcoin for investment, that's where you will have to consider it a high-risk endeavor. However, what you are doing is good; at least you are helping people become educated about the risks. Some people think Bitcoin could lead to easy money, when in fact, what they often fall victim to are scam investments that ride on the popularity of Bitcoin.

As experts have said, one way to minimize the risk of investing in Bitcoin is through education. So, you are contributing to preventing people from misjudging Bitcoin, as they now comprehend the risks associated with investing.
805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling experience using loan money on: August 21, 2023, 12:58:51 PM
Why will a gambler utilized loan money for gambling in the first place, it absolutely makes no sense. Loans are taken for budgeting purposes, not gambling, and they have implications that we might never exist after encountering. Gambling with a solid mental balance will undoubtedly lead to gambling with an estimated amount of money, rather than the other way around. When it comes to gambling, we feel more pressure to do what we think is right, but we often forget that the chances of succeeding are 50/50. It's as simple as that: our results either result in profits or loses.
Even though gambling should be just for entertainment, not more so for profit and money, why do you have to make loans to get lucky, that's obviously not very good, in the end everything will get worse because gambling with borrowed money will not bring good results, so why Gamble with money you can afford to lose, not with borrowed money.

Usually, in some cases, people gamble with borrowed money because they want to try their luck again, so that the previous defeat destroyed them, so for them to take a fast way is to borrow money to gamble again, but in most cases, in the end, gamblers who are in debt will end tragically like suicides and others. The point is, never approach gambling if you really don't have money because gambling is a hobby that is quite a waste of money.

Every gambler knows this, but we cannot deny that some gamblers are still skating over a knife by putting themselves in a bad position for borrowing some money just for the sake of gambling and not just to entertain themselves for a few couple of hours. In most cases, gamblers do this because they are chasing for the money that they've lost because otherwise, it wouldn't lead them to this very position where more debts are almost inevitable.

Most of those kinds of gambler who take loans to continue playing or betting are addicted gamblers who needs help to stop their addiction, just the same with what you said, those who are trying to chase their losses that resort to barrow money to try recovering mostly turned to another bad position, losing the amount that they barrow and look for another resources or try to find someone who can lend them money, it adds up with the problem that's been created from the previous loans that being done.

And they will be on never-ending cycle where it will be difficult for them to break, unless someone can help them to get out from that certain situation but if they made their activities secretly including their family, then I'm afraid to say that they will be there in that cycle long enough before someone from the family will realize that they are into a very deep loop where problems are already worse because of the debts they've been into.

Of course this situation can be helped and will not be a problem, if only gamblers are more open and transparent to their own family.
806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: August 21, 2023, 11:41:57 AM

So much for the Fury vs Ngannou clown show, Mike Tyson vs Fedor Emelianenko might just be among the card this October.  Consider this post as a filler though it's a bit of an off-topic, I just want to insert the info to leave a bad taste. So who you got and how does it play out?

This is Fedor's death wish by the way I guess Tyson wouldn't say no to someone that is dying. Mikie still got it, somehow he showed it in his last with Roy Jones.

Emelianenko has long wanted to try himself in boxing, and it seems there was talk of a fight with Roy Jones, but he only agreed to a large fee that none of the promotions could organize. As for the fight with Tyson, I have no idea how it can end - Fedor has already lost everything he could, boxing is not his main occupation for him (although he is undoubtedly more experienced in boxing than, for example, Ngannou), but Tyson is much older.

Seem a bit of a fair match though. Mike is older but boxing is his playground while Fedor is younger but he is fighting in a boxing ring. This fight will be a good undercard for Francis vs Fury as it will also make a huge crowd in the arena. The promotion will be glad to welcome them.

Ngannou vs Fury hype had slowed down to which it really going to need help. What they will need is more UFC fighters crossing to make a lot of people interested in the result.

Is there a confirmation that their fight will happen? I know it would be a big thing to hype and add some audience to benefit the main event but I don't see it in the articles stating that they are really serious to be on the undercard. Hopefully it will happen though so that we can witness Iron Mike again live in the ring even if it's an exhibition fight, it's still worth it, you know.
807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: August 20, 2023, 03:38:35 PM
I don’t need to argue with this as most those who venture into gambling as their major income end up failing and not succeeding. Because in any investment or gambling activity, once you put pressure into it, you’ll be constantly bothered and won’t have time to focus anymore, which will make you more susceptible to losses in the end.

This is probably the reason why gambling should never be seen as a major source of income. It’s not only unreliable, but seeing a lot of events become unpredicted in gambling, then it’s too dangerous to put high hopes that gambling will definitely be the one to put food on the table.
Profession really matters in the race to break free from financial limitations and struggles. We ought to keep in mind to always be in pursuit of the good lifestyle, not extravagant. Losses and profits are generated from gambling, and it takes so much from us before we would even realized. It's impossible to make gambling as a streams of earning income, it can preferably be used to gain extra changes not the main source. Gambling on games can be volatile just as bitcoin in trading, making the comparison it's slightly the same. Depending on gambling as a means of income, it's absolutely risky because gambling is 100% unreliable.
But even so, it's not difficult for us to make gambling our main income because there is a factor of defeat that can come in a row and eat up the money that we previously used as capital to get wins. Gambling can only be used as entertainment like other entertainment and does not treat gambling as a place to make money. Even though we can win from gambling, we still risk losing the next time, and this has happened to many people, so we should look for other places to make income. And the more we can get income from various places, the more money we can get.

And that's how it should be because focusing towards gambling as main source of income won't get your further in your career and what you're into are just more losses that is totally impossible to avoid because that is already given if we're talking about this and most probably, debts along the way are already waiting for you if that's how you view gambling.

Yes, there are gambling professionals but I do like to think that they have some sort of secrets to maintain their status that they don't want others to know because if that will be a norm, casino will improve to a much higher level where it would be much harder to us gamblers to win successively. Or casino will cease.
808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: August 20, 2023, 01:30:26 PM
I believe the most recent ranking from BoxRec should be taken into consideration. Currently, John Riel Casimero holds the top position, with Marlon Tapales following in second place. This situation indicates that Inoue has a significant challenge ahead – facing Casimero – to demonstrate that he truly deserves the title of the best, rather than just relying on his record and not giving what the fans what they want to see.

https://boxrec.com/en/ratings?country=PH&division=Super%20Bantamweight&offset=0&role=box-pro&sex=M

This is already a locked bout so I guess it's too late to hope for a Casimero - Inoue any time soon. Tapales is an OK fighter, but may receive a beating from the Japanese boxer known for his speed and powerful lefts. Also, BoxRec isn't an 'official' organization that boxing orgs should reference to.  There's just a lot of possible angles that both camps can use in order to set the fight or avoid it.

As you can see, all those names are Filipino, so we can somehow say that those rankings are just based on power and recent fights which is believable because Casimero indeed holds a tough position over Tapales, it's just that the latter is the champion right now that is why he is the one who will be facing Naoya Inoue for the undisputed fight that could put Inoue towards history for being the second boxer next to Crawford to achieve two undisputed titles, considering that the Japanese monster pull this off successfully.
809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 20, 2023, 12:57:32 PM
Alright, schedules are up for the upcoming new season. Still very early but it's quite exciting since we've been waiting for months before we see our favorite teams and players once again.

There will be two big games on the first day. The first game will be the Lost Angeles Lakers visiting the defending champions Denver Nuggets. Jokic should be fully energized after having a lot of fun in his native Serbia. The second game will be the 4-star team Phoenix Suns visiting its old teammate Chris Paul and the Golden State Warriors.

People are excited about the coming season but I would love to see Lillard and Harden get traded before the start of the season.

Yeah, usually in the first game of the a new season, we will see the defending champion fight it out. But it's weird that it will be against the Los Angeles Lakers. Perhaps the NBA wanted viewership, and so they have to insert Lebron against the defending champs.

I might be also interested to see Jordan Poole going back to GSW for a game. Crazy what will be the atmosphere, will we gonna hear boos from the Warriors fans or will they appreciate what Jordan did to them and win a ring.

Poole went out without any issues with the Warriors, and for sure he understands that it's all about business in the NBA right now. He might have a issues with Green earlier and it could have cost them their seasons, but still he is a good Warrior in his short stint with them, he doesn't deserved if fans are going to boo him in Chase Center.

Does he really understand that? He's sad leaving the Warriors and we can see that he's not happy with it. Maybe he take that and slowly accept the situation since he can't do anything since the deal is done. Their beef with Green is great factor with this decision so I guess maybe we can see a great revenge for him if he face his old team mates since maybe he will perform very well just to prove that he just waste a talent like him.

Nothing that he can do for now. The deal was done, and he has been traded. That issue with Green influence it the most for sure, even there's no clear update about what happened.

But for me, I believe that the issue before still exists and for the management to save the team, they
needed to sacrifice Poole.

We may see him being appreciated as we know how good the Warriors fans they love cheering for
the old pals who played and win a ring for them.

Even if the commotion didn't happen I gues Warriors didn't have a choice but to trade either Green or Poole. But they know that Green's presence is much important especially Pool shows inconsistency last season. So they made that decision to save their team since Green's role is important on the rotation of GSW.

And since this deal already happen then its good consistent numbers so that his current team will feel that he is a big asset to their team and a big loss to Warriors for trading him.

It was a tough choice to make because they know that Steve Kerr can still make some things possible and rectify their mistakes last season because that's what a team should do, Steve Kerr managed to train Poole properly and he can still do that again but the real thing is, behind all this, NBA is still a business and in the end of the day, the Warriors will choose who will stay and who will go.
810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney on: August 19, 2023, 01:51:03 PM
If only power is the only factor and measurement to be the best of super-lightweight division then Devin Haney wouldn't have any problems but he shouldn't forget that it will be a new weight for him and a new division as well, and while he's still adjusting to the weight, his opponents like Regis Prograis who is more comfortable at 140 will not show him mercy just because of that. Haney does have a chance, I'll give him that, but not as decent compared to the one whom he will face. And Teo Lopez? It turns out that he's just an underrated boxer who actually does have a chance to be one of the bad guys at 140 and let's not forget Josh Taylor, I think he can still bounce back.
Haney is high technical and has reach advantage, so I don't really think different weight will give him a trouble.

Prograis, Matias, Romero and Lopez aren't high technical boxers, so it will be pretty hard to beat Haney. Well maybe Josh Taylor has a chance to fight with Haney even though he not own any title, but his last performance against Catterall and Lopez were not good.

Lopez actually an overrated boxer due to his popularity, he's strong and has a stamina, but his performance is just not stable.
I don't know what you're trying to say but reach advantage doesn't have anything to do with the weight needed to fight at 140 lbs., there is even no guarantee that he can even defeat and dominate the guys who are more comfortable at that weight class compared to him.

Look, I know that you might have high hopes towards Haney or something like that but the path that he's stepping into is still unknown and anything can happen because it's not his division to begin with. What more now that he's going directly towards the champion instead of trying a much safer debut first.

I understand why Haney chose to directly challenge the champion, as he believes he can defeat the champion and this match presents a significant opportunity to earn more money. From a promoter's perspective, this is an appealing fight, and it's possible that the organization permitted it, similar to Inoue moving up in weight to challenge and beat the champion Fulton with ease. As for this fight, its outcome remains uncertain, but looking at the odds from sportsbooks, Haney is the clear favorite to win.

There is nothing wrong about them facing each other in a fair fight in the agreed time frame because that's how the boxing works and we cannot deny Haney's right to approach a different division because he sees himself as a future champion in a different level but what happened is Haney is requesting a very lowball offer, he wanted to have the majority of the purse and then he wanted to contest it in a much earlier date and time which was not on their negotiations to begin with. He should also understand the opposite camp because this is not all about him.
811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: August 19, 2023, 12:43:17 PM
I wouldn't be surprised if boxers and fighters all over the world will release some statements to somehow condemn the fight between Zuckerberg and Musk because they have every right to do it as it wasn't easy for them to achieve what they have and then there are this billionaires who can just make it happen with just one snap of their fingers.
On the other hand, they should also understand by now that life is truly unfair and that is the reality we're living in, it's either digest it or fight with that same right but in the end, you will not get to where you want because just as mentioned, life is unfair.

This fight is just an exhibition match which means that it has no value for professional records. Anyone can fight on ring or octagon by just paying the fee. Influencer like Jake Paul and others manage to fight pro on an exhibition match while the two billionaires is just fighting for each other without representing any sports.

It’s like a fight to settle disagreement. It’s absurd to make a negative opinion about this match just because you are professional on that specific sports because sports is for everyone. Only the professional records should be their concern which is not the case on this fight.

What we're trying to say is that the fame and money is following them without any troubles at all, that is why it might be quite unfair to the real fighters who actually got themselves into the process just to get the fame and money, you know, they have to climb the ladder and prove themselves who they are and in the end, it's just all about the money and fame. We just don't know for sure but there is also a chance that they would let this go because it doesn't have anything to do with them.
812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Committed Suicide After Losing School fees, And That Of Friend To Betting.. on: August 19, 2023, 08:49:26 AM
It is never possible to get complete happiness in this life this problem is more for the poor. But I think it is not right to commit suicide no matter how poor families dream a lot about their sons and daughters. Sometimes you have to go through difficult situations, so when difficult moments come, try to stay strong and find a way. The situation is not easy but it solves it in fact, people hated him many times more than before he committed suicide. Therefore, no matter how hard it is, it will be better to share it with the family even if the problem arises it will find a way to solve it.

Poverty is widespread across the world. But different people have different methods of dealing with it. Some people resort to crime and when they are caught they will say that they became criminals because of poverty. Others would try to get rich from gambling, similar to what this boy did. But in almost all the cases, the end result would not be very encouraging. However there is a small fraction of the poor who work in the right direction by improving their skillset and try to climb higher up the social ladder. These people finally succeed as a result of their hard work.

That requires patience and time because success isn't achieved overnight and that boy who decided to end his life might've wanted an easy way out because he's already sick walking in his shoes where he doesn't have many options just like other people do, in the end, he haven't had the courage to accept that life is not really fair and if you wanted to have a comfortable living, you'll have to work hard for it specially if you came from the slum.
813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: August 19, 2023, 05:54:48 AM
Also, it shocked me to know that Francis Ngannou has been waiting for this bout for three years now and did really targeted Tyson Fury. So we can say that this storm has been already cooking for quite some time and that tells us that Ngannou will be prepared once both of them will commence their dance showdown in the ring.
So perhaps this has been a manifestation already for Francis to fight the Gypsy king. He had this it in his mind for many years and so it happen today and he will also get his biggest paycheck since his UFC days so it's a win-win for Francis here.

And yeah, maybe that time that he is thinking about this fight with Tyson Fury, he is still one of the best UFC heavyweight and he wanted to test his skills and power against the best in boxing. So we will finally know it once this two behemoth clash in the ring although Fury will have all the advantage because this is going to be a boxing match and boxing rules.

I guess we can say that because that's exactly what is happening right now, it was carefully planned that it took him more than 3 years before he managed to get a professional fight against the undefeated Tyson Fury, we know that is hard to do mainly if you're someone who is on the other side of the sport. Now that Ngannou already got the fight that he wanted as well as the money that he will be having, it's time for him to show if he is really that worth it to see dancing against the Gypsy King.
Yes, it was shocking to hear that he has been waiting for this kind of opportunity to strike to him, but hey we can only believed our selves thru manifestation and thinking positive that one day, he will be fighting the best in the heavyweight division.

I haven't heard anything from Tyson Fury though as far as promotions of this fight. Although it is still very far and maybe he is still on vacation or something as he is not known to lose pounds because what we see is what we get, but maybe he has some strategy already in mind and it could include trash talking Francis and see how he wil react.

Manifestation is a good thing because it will be your driving force and inspiration work harder just to get to where you wanted and for Francis Ngannou, 3 years time might be too long if we think of it, but those times weren't wasted because he is also getting more and more experience by fighting in UFC, although it might not be the same sport but an experience is an experience. Besides, by that time, he was already making some baby steps until we found out today that he was already planning for this.

If Tyson Fury is already silent, we can tell that he's already starting his preparation and studying how Ngannou moves in the stage as we're now already approaching the end of August. Ngannou might not be a bonafide boxer but he's not something that can easily be underestimated.
814  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: August 18, 2023, 03:19:03 PM
Thats true, whatever the scenario we should keep things informed with wife. None is sure of what happens the next minute and we all are dependents. When we're sad and if someone is there to hear our difficulty, it'll be so good and makes us come out of the difficulty at the earliest. Same is with gambling, whenever we loss our mind used to think badly and sometimes even to end life. At such situation sharing with wife or the close ones will give the solution and consolation. This could change our mind and stay positive and lets us to have control.
Agree. A wife deserves to know whatever experiencing by the husband. It includes gambling habits, a wife should know it very well. Not every time a gambler can control his emotion, sometimes the games can trigger a gambler to spend over budget. It will be worse if a gambler feels disappointed with the result, then he tries to catches the losses. If a wife doesn't know this, the gambler can be addicted or end up with losing all money. A wife can remind his husband that playing gambling is for fun only, don't waste time to catch unrealistic goal on it. I believe only a close person like a husband or parents that can help a gambler in a bad situation. In a certain situation, a gambler can be difficult to fix a problem himself. So, he needs someone who knows him well.

It should be because that's what the both of you promised on your wedding day and it would be a betrayal to her if she doesn't even know that you're into gambling. Moreover, it is their given right to know what is happening inside or outside the house and we have a responsibility to share everything what is exactly happening to our life, it may be good or bad, we ought to tell them because that's what a husband/wife should do.

There are lot of things that can happen if we don't tell them anything and sure there are a lot of options to explore if we tell it to them because at the end of the day, we need them to help us and they cannot help us if they don't even know what's going on.
815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 18, 2023, 02:47:04 PM
It seems that Oscar wanted to go to legal actions here:

Quote
The Hall of Fame former six-division titlist is prepared to take legal action to protect the rights of England’s Ohara Davies, the top-rated WBA junior welterweight contender who Golden Boy Promotions signed earlier this spring. Davies was named mandatory challenger to current titlist Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero, for which a purse bid hearing was indefinitely postponed as the sanctioning body will review medical documents provided on July 21 by Romero’s team.

https://www.boxingscene.com/de-la-hoya-demands-answers-threatens-legal-action-enforce-romero-davies-wba-mandatory-title-fight--177011

He wanted to have his bod, Ohara Davies to fight current WBA 140 lbs champion in Rolly Romero. But it seems there is a delay from the governing body to issue a mandatory fight and Oscar is eager for the WBA to give it to them. It was ordered already that a fight is to be made and maybe this is the contention of Oscar that's why he goes on legal actions to forced WBA to commit to it.

He has the right, and I believe he knows himself well enough to expect a victory in this battle. Furthermore, there's money at stake in this championship fight. Not only that, if his fighter defeats Rolly, it will open up even bigger opportunities for them to maximize their earnings. So, if I understand it correctly, there's a delay in the fight; it's not completely canceled yet. Oscar's camp simply wants to ensure that the fight will happen by setting a specific date.

For a businessman like him, waiting for nothing is just a wasted opportunity, so he wants to enforce what is due to happen.

Yes, but I think this is just my opinion though, it seems that PBC or Al Haymon has so much influence with this body that they can control it right now. And with that, they are delaying the fight between the Davies and Rolly Romero for now even if they supposedly have issues that this fight is going to be made already.

And with that, GBP has no other choice but it could bring some tensions with this governing body in the future. And most likely there could be sanctions like GBP boxers are not going to make the top 10 rankings by the WBA.

We will likely see it soon if they will do some moves towards the governing body, of course it will have some ups and downs but it's up to them if they are willing to have those consequences in the future because we know that these bodies aren't something to be messed with. Yes, they can be bought because that is already obvious enough that is why PBC stable is having some advantage, the very recent that is clear as water was Spence's title defense at 154 when his belts are in 147.
816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you cheat in gambling? on: August 18, 2023, 12:02:24 PM

Of course not, even though I am in great need of money and way too desperate to win, I will never attempt to do that. Thus, nowadays gambling systems are more strict so you are just putting yourself into risk because your account may be banned or restricted and you don't want that to happen right? Just play fair and have fun, because that's what it should be about. But really, is cheating in gambling possible? I only knew about systems having problems and malfunctions but haven't heard of cheating in gambling.

It's not literally cheating but we cannot call it the opposite either because it's just taking advantage of the system while there is/are still some loopholes available. Now, we have a choice to take advantage of that or report it to the casino because if we do the latter, we will certainly be rewarded as we are helping them to fix their existing problems that they may or may not know without losing some of their money along the way but some of the gamblers are undeniably going to take advantage for that, while it's good for them because they can generate huge sums, that will not be long because sooner or later, casino will find that out because they always do.
817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 18, 2023, 11:07:24 AM

You know, I would like to think that my judgement were right after all but I still can't because I just don't have enough or concrete details yet to confirm whether there is something wrong inside the Philly or not, maybe it has existed already since last season that there is going on in their locker room that we didn't know because they are still trying to work things out.

What they are doing right now is just giving some clues and leave the public curious or should I say confused because after they fired Doc Rivers, almost everything has been shattered into places and I think as well that it is one of the reasons why Harden wanted to get out and most probably, Embiid as well.

The President of the 76ers Daryl Morey is like have something beef with James Harden for sure that is why it is likely a war inside the Philadelphia 76ers, right now because of the President and Harden, it is a clash and Harden keeps on saying that Morey has likely lie to him for getting his salary cut without further improvements for the team, well it is not likely that simple indeed, but I think James Harden likely really want out, while Embiid is hanging on the balance,

I guess it's not something anymore because it's been confirmed already recently that the reason why James Harden wanted to go out from the franchise is because he doesn't want how Daryl Morey handle the organization. And because of the issues that happened inside like Morey is not really giving some improvements to the roster, this happened recently.

Quote
While at a basketball camp in China, Harden took to the microphone, stating that “Daryl Morey [the GM of the 76ers] is a liar, and I will never be a part of an organization that he’s a part of.”

And given the situation of the 76ers right now, it might be the same reason why Joel Embiid is giving some hint because he doesn't want a team that has other issues rather than focusing on what the should they do to improve the team.
818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: August 18, 2023, 06:55:56 AM

What they are saying was just a pure nonsense because they just made it look like they were neighbors when in-fact they aren't, just a neighboring state but not literally neighbor that you could just knock from your home within a matter of minutes. And if I'm not mistaken, Elon Musk do actually have a home that is situated in Texas but he doesn't live in it because he only sleeps in SpaceX headquarters and made himself a little room there to sleep for a few hours before working again.
So what if he had knocked on Marks door? Then what?

People are really just putting too much attention with these kind of words but we cant really deny that even though these things turns out to be nonsense but surprisingly the public does really love
on how things been going. Even it is really just that clear that this one is indirectly trying out to showcase their company and some developments or whatsoever which they did make out
that having some mix of little trolling. They are really just that make a fun of the community.  Tongue

Well, I guess we cannot really blame the public if some of them are loving the idea because if this will happen, it will be the first time where two billionaires will have a physical fight in front of the public and not behind closed doors despite the fact that they don't have any valid reasons in making the fight into reality.

It is funny. Out there in the world there are thousands perhaps millions of fights between regular people which may have more meaning that two rich men punching one another on the face because their fans told them so. It is like living in the clown world some many on the internet refer to in an ironic way.

I can also imagine the frustration of some professional boxers and fighters with have trained their whole adult life to.get a small fraction of the attention these two technological businessmen are getting on the internet. Life can be weird and unfair sometimes.

If this fight actually get planned, then it will become a marketing phenomenon by its own and probably even drawn the attention of serious sponsorships.

819  Economy / Speculation / Re: My advice to you regarding bear markets. on: August 17, 2023, 02:45:59 PM
I only see two types of people in a bear market, and those are the negative and positive people here in the cryptocurrency or Bitcoin industry that we are in. But most of the communities here are not happy when they see reds in the market.

But for others, instead of being angry or disappointed, they will look at this as a good opportunity for them because of the belief that it is good belief in the coins suddenly fell because they know very well that this is only temporary, so they are just taking advantage of it. to buy it while it's still cheap.

Those who have enough experience with market movements can easily spot opportunities.

Well, this is what happens in the market during bear and bull markets. When we experience a bull market, the market is usually overvalued due to hype. This presents an opportunity for investors who accumulated during the bear market to enjoy significant profits. Meanwhile, during the bear market, weak hands easily dump the holdings they acquired during the bull market. Sometimes this results in undervalued conditions in the market due to panic.

Looking at the big picture, the saying 'buy during bear market and sell during bull market' is generally profitable. Therefore, if we want to make money, it doesn't need to be complicated. Just follow the market trend, and we will be alright.
820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next Bitcoin Bull Run: Is It Tied to the Next Halving? on: August 17, 2023, 02:10:12 PM
Not exactly that the bull run is programmed or tied to Bitcoin's halving, but rather the psychological part of it on investors that Bitcoin gets cut into halves and the inflation rate reduced, instigating the buying pressure that brings about a bull market thereafter.
We may get or may not get the usual super bull run, where we do see crazy price movement because of diminishing returns, an example is seen from the previous bull market where almost everyone was expecting the price to go way high $100k-$250k per BTC.

I don't think anything programming is attached to the bullrun but is it generally speculated that after halving comes bull run because and that has been so over the we years and I don not think there would be any difference from the previous this time. Although it might likely not not go beyond the last all time high but the price is expected to grow or bull than its current state when it's time for the halving.

Although all these are just speculations from different quarters but I believe the notion has already been there long before now and whenever it gets to that point, the demand for Bitcoin surges and that alone makes the price for Bitcoin surges higher than it was.

So therefore, I have no doubt the next bull run will be different from other previous ones that have already occurred.

It's safe to follow the trend, as typically after the halving, the price of Bitcoin rises. The next halving is scheduled for April 25, 2024. It might be a good idea to start accumulating Bitcoin next year, as Bitcoin's price is currently not at its lowest. Although the price has stabilized in the range of $29k to $30k, there's a possibility that it could still drop before the next bull run occurs. Timing is crucial if we're aiming for significant profits, not this year but the next, because halving usually brings positive news.

However, if you're a short-term trader, no specific date or year is important, as the market is volatile. You can trade on any given date.

Of course timing is crucial when it comes to Bitcoin investment and doing it now would put you on the  right track. As it is currently, now is the right time to accumulate more Bitcoin as the price is on the lower side. While we approach the halving next year there is always uncertainty which would trigger market actions either on the buying side or the selling side either way, both work for the good of price action as the demand and other factors would definitely come in play. Just like you have said, surely we are looking forward to seeing and hearing the good news come halving next year.

In terms of timing, every investor or trader has their own timing as we each have our own speculation based on personal analysis. However, when considering the big picture, I'm quite sure that as experienced investors, we would agree that buying now or at any point as long as the price remains lower than the current all-time high, will likely result in a decent profit once the next bull run arrives. It's probable that it will surpass the current all-time high and increase significantly before the market enters a correction stage again.
