But since a rematch inside the octagon has surfaced, people are now attracted to it and that is one of the few reasons why we are still talking about this as it is more interesting rather than a boxing fight, and Jake Paul will have a chance to bounce back and redeem himself from the recent loss he had. I mean who wouldn't want a redemption fight?
There's a good chance Diaz can beat Paul because Diaz is a wrestler and MMA fight is shorter than boxing, so he don't need to have really good stamina. If Paul didn't learn how to escape from ground fight, Diaz can easily subs him, MMA fight is more technical as you can win in many ways.

The rematch should be happen ASAP before Diaz become more older.

Yes, he actually does because it's a common knowledge already specially for the ones who have known Nate because he is the type of fighter who doesn't have any KO power but he will be on a great advantage if he will be on his comfortable sport as he can best make use of his asset, just like what you mentioned.
Nevertheless, I believe that they have already talked about it and we might see some updates in the following month as I'm somehow inclined that they will make the fight before this year ends and while the hype is still there, you know, it's better to be safe than sorry because we are talking about millions of dollars here and both of them surely don't want to miss that chance mainly the organizers who will help these two to make it into a reality.

It seems that Oscar wanted to go to legal actions here:

Quote
The Hall of Fame former six-division titlist is prepared to take legal action to protect the rights of England’s Ohara Davies, the top-rated WBA junior welterweight contender who Golden Boy Promotions signed earlier this spring. Davies was named mandatory challenger to current titlist Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero, for which a purse bid hearing was indefinitely postponed as the sanctioning body will review medical documents provided on July 21 by Romero’s team.

https://www.boxingscene.com/de-la-hoya-demands-answers-threatens-legal-action-enforce-romero-davies-wba-mandatory-title-fight--177011

He wanted to have his bod, Ohara Davies to fight current WBA 140 lbs champion in Rolly Romero. But it seems there is a delay from the governing body to issue a mandatory fight and Oscar is eager for the WBA to give it to them. It was ordered already that a fight is to be made and maybe this is the contention of Oscar that's why he goes on legal actions to forced WBA to commit to it.

He sure does need this to happen fast.
But Nate could sometimes be dragged by what is happening in the octagon, if a fighter is boxing him up, he will do the same and prove that his chin is tough. How many times have we seen that happen?
There's a chance he might not maximize his skills in wrestling or his submission skills just to prove that he could take down anyone with his fist or just endure their punches until the decision happens.
All Jake Paul needed is a takedown defense and then he could keep the battle in the standing position until Nate makes a wrong move. I mean, he did knock him down from their last fight so there's a chance it could happen again. But yeah, stamina might not be a big deal here for Nate, it will be Jake who should train to battle at 5 minutes per round.

He has the right, and I believe he knows himself well enough to expect a victory in this battle. Furthermore, there's money at stake in this championship fight. Not only that, if his fighter defeats Rolly, it will open up even bigger opportunities for them to maximize their earnings. So, if I understand it correctly, there's a delay in the fight; it's not completely canceled yet. Oscar's camp simply wants to ensure that the fight will happen by setting a specific date.

For a businessman like him, waiting for nothing is just a wasted opportunity, so he wants to enforce what is due to happen.

Good move by Golden Boy Promotions although it might create a bad blood with the corrupt WBA and it will avoid ranking any of GBP's fighters in the future. But if GBP won't take action, expect the WBA to delay or even drop Ohara later in its next ranking release. It is becoming common nowadays for sanctioning bodies to avoid enforcing mandatories when the contender and its champion came from rival giant networks; i.e., DAZN, ESPN, and Showtime.

At the moment, the bad blood between PBC and GBP continues especially after Ryan Garcia's (GBP) defeat at the hands of Tank Davis (PBC) where the boy also wanted out of his GBP promotional contract. Hopefully, the purse bid goes on and we will see who's got the deeper pocket between these promotions to promote the Romero-Davies fight.

Sometimes you really need to think about what Oscar is doing for boxing, perhaps he wanted to set up the good fight like the Garcia vs Davis. But it could hurt himself in the long run if we talk about business. If I'm not mistaken, he also has some issues with Ryan or his handlers and he is going to court as well to settle it.

And now he is going against the governing bodies itself and try to challenge them in court as well. So it could be bad for Oscar and his business, but good for his boxers to have this kind of opportunities to become a champion.

It's  business and for sure whoever behind the governing body are also making decent money out from each fights that they will
allow, it's a good move indeed for GBP as they wanted to make sure that it will happen.

The question now is how the fight will take place and which promotions will take that edge in terms of profits, we will be needed s good update
from any available trusted channels, not those socmed that will bring news just for the sake of clickabait.

I mean if you are a boxing trying to become a MMA fighter, it will take a lot of trainings on your send specially if you will be fighting the likes of Nate who is well versed on it and possible that he will choke Jake if he wanted to.
It will be a difficult ground for Jake Paul because he doesn't have any legit experiences in the field of MMA, you know, he just started his boxing career a couple of years ago and still struggling to be called as a legit boxer and he doesn't have some spare to time to learn MMA on the sides. And this time, if it will indeed happen in a cage, Nate Diaz will have his revenge, no doubt about that. Diaz may not have the knockout power but his wrestling skills are far beyond Jake Paul's imagination as he wouldn't even see it coming.

The rematch should be happen ASAP before Diaz become more older.
Let's see, the hype is still there for this fight and even after a week, the fans are still talking about it and it seems that they wanted to have a rematch but they wanted Jake to take out of his comfort zone and go MMA fighting style.
We wouldn't even talk about this rematch in MMA ground if both of them didn't started it. And since it has been widely known that they are planning for it, people will always ask what are the updates about it and the hype will remain as long as people are still talking about it.

Yes, but I think this is just my opinion though, it seems that PBC or Al Haymon has so much influence with this body that they can control it right now. And with that, they are delaying the fight between the Davies and Rolly Romero for now even if they supposedly have issues that this fight is going to be made already.

And with that, GBP has no other choice but it could bring some tensions with this governing body in the future. And most likely there could be sanctions like GBP boxers are not going to make the top 10 rankings by the WBA.

We will likely see it soon if they will do some moves towards the governing body, of course it will have some ups and downs but it's up to them if they are willing to have those consequences in the future because we know that these bodies aren't something to be messed with. Yes, they can be bought because that is already obvious enough that is why PBC stable is having some advantage, the very recent that is clear as water was Spence's title defense at 154 when his belts are in 147.

And it will show how different or difficult MMA fighting is as compare to boxing.

I agree but we shouldn't be expecting this fight these days because it's not yet finalized and it's still floating in the air waiting for the organizers to take advantage of it. There is still the hype because they have said it in the first place where a rematch is really possible but it will all fall on how they will handle the negotiations because Nate will now ask for a bigger money compared to what he had received on their first encounter and if Jake Paul will give him that, then we do indeed a have a fight to wait.

That's the problem with Nate Diaz and I don't know if it's his pride or not because it seems to me that he is more inclined to do what his opponent is doing, when in fact he can showcase his skills and finish the fight as fast as he can so that he can rest afterwards with a victory on his side. But sometimes that is not the case.

Well hopefully this time he will be different, he just came from an embarrassing loss that almost made him like a clown fighting in the boxing ring where he doesn't have any abilities at all, even his defense can be neutralized easily by some uprising boxers in the industry. He now has a chance to redeem his name and take one last paycheck with him and a win before he steps down again, but for good.

Joshua’s Promoter Giving Wilder Negotiations 2 To 3 Weeks Or AJ Will Fight In Nov Or Dec

Quote
By Jake Tiernan: Eddie Hearn has put a 2 to 3-week timeframe for when he wants the Deontay Wilder fight wrapped up for Anthony Joshua’s mega-fight in January in Saudi Arabia. Hearn says if it’s not completed within two or three weeks, he could start looking for a fight for Joshua (26-3, 23 KOs) in November or December.

This is an important piece of news, and from here, we can track the progress of the negotiation. Hopefully, Wilder's camp will respond promptly and not waste time in ensuring that this significant fight will take place. What AJ's promoter is attempting to convey is their desire for an immediate response. If they can't secure an answer within that timeline, they will proceed with their business plans but with a different opponent.

If I'm not mistaken, Eddie Hearn has been talking about the Wider fight, even before Joshua was supposed to fight Whyte/Helenius. And that fight is treated as a tune up fight for Joshua and it just so happen that Helenuis got knockout and so Joshua's confidence is back at all time high.

And with that win, they are on track to have a fight with Wilder and hopefully it can happen this year or early next year.

Doubt that the Wilder fight with Ruiz is going to push as he might go directly to fight AJ in the Middle East for more money.

What I think of this fight is that either of them can win, for me Nate Diaz can do better, I am not saying that Jake Pual is the most monstrous among them, according to what I have seen of both fighters is that anyone can win of the two, only that for now the one with the best training is the one who will obviously win, in this case the resistance is the one that can be the reason that influences both well, because if both in their training lean towards resistance it is Very good, if each fighter works their speed+strength it can determine the fight, but of course the quality of the blows also influences a lot here and that they can be quite efficient in it.

and well now they have announced that the two fighters are clean, a good sign:

VADA announces Paul and Diaz tested clean

Source: http://www.boxingtalk.com/VADA-announces-Paul-and-Diaz-tested-clean

and the success of the sales is also being a considerable detail:

Jake Paul claims his fight with Nate Diaz generated over 500,000 PPV buys in the US, as he brands the event a 'massive success' after beating the UFC legend on points

Quote
UFC legend Diaz stepped into the ring for the first time to take on YouTuber-turned boxer Paul earlier this month in Texas, and it was the younger Paul who came out on top, scoring a knockdown on his way to a unanimous points victory.

Paul was delighted to get back to winning ways after losing to Tommy Fury in February, and revealed the clash was a major financial success as well.

Well, without a doubt , the biggest winner of all was Jake Paul, in this we have no doubt , when the earnings of a Fighter are Combined with his level of money , it is something that turns out to be like the Perfect Equation.

Does anyone follow Dillon Danis on social media? He is going to fight Logan Paul in boxing on October 14 as part of the event of KSI vs Tommy Fury.

In any case, this is very funny. Dillon has been sharing pictures of Logan's fiancee with more than 10 different men and one of them was the fiancee dating Riffraff who appears to be not a very good human hehehe. Logan's response was a filing of a cease and desist order to stop the trolling. It appears everything is not good in paradise.

Whether he is fighting or not, Dillion Danis has never stopped flocking to social media, talking trash to and trolling countless people. So naturally, he has amped up these antics since the bout between he and Logan Paul was announced, posting pictures of Paul's girlfriend with various celebrities and ex's in order to mess with his foe.

Apparently, these trolling posts have led to Danis being contacted by Paul and his team, with them apparently telling the Bellator fighter to cease and desist the trolling, apparently even contacting authorities, otherwise Paul will withdraw from the contest.

Here is the update of supposedly, Ruiz vs Wilder mandated fight by the WBC, and it's not happening, hehehe,

Quote
The WBC has abandoned its prior attempt to determine a mandatory challenger for the heavyweight title.

A previously ordered Deontay Wilder-Andy Ruiz title eliminator is no longer required, the sanctioning body ruled Friday. The fight never had a chance to take place given recent events, including ongoing efforts for Wilder to next face fellow former heavyweight titlist Anthony Joshua likely early next year in the Middle East.

https://www.boxingscene.com/wbc-abandons-wilder-ruiz-final-eliminator-revisit-mandatory-process-november--177049

So it just shows how corrupt WBC and the Sulaiman,  Grin they initial ordered a fight between the Ruiz and Wilder and then later change their decision not to and allow Joshua (as he win against Helenius) to fight Wilder in the Middle East.

And for sure, as Eddie Hearn secures big money from Middle East, the Sulaiman's has a cut on it.  Grin

Exactly, he is referring to the Wilder vs AJ fight, and he wants Wilder to commit to making the fight happen within the given timeline. AJ had a solid victory against Helenius, demonstrating that he still possesses the power to knock out his opponents. It seems AJ has become more cautious now, which is a strategic move. Despite his strong punching ability, he can also be vulnerable to powerful hits.

For the moment, the best course of action for Wilder is to concentrate on his upcoming fight against AJ. It's a significant bout, and a victory against AJ would undoubtedly boost his popularity once again.
